Any regions need more players, seeing as italy is getting kind of full.

Western, Eastern, and Northern Europe might do with some more players. Spain, the British Isles, or the Middle East might be a good place to set up shop for some immediate conflicts.

I was thinking maybe either a marcher lord in carnithia, ir maybe a norse adventurer turned king of the baleric islands. Those among other things i had in mind.

A Norman adventurer wouldn't be out of place, given how in my own timeline Sicily is controlled by a Norman king (which it actually was). The Balearic Islands being controlled by foreigners wouldn't sound weird at all - it might, however, be a bit of a difficult start for you seeing as the Balearic Islands are dangerously close to the Caliphate of Cordoba, arguably one of the strongest powers alive right now in the Mediterranean.

Well the Balearics aren't just close to Córdoba. They are part of Córdoba. I would post an image showing it but I can't make it work for some reason. Its on the Lessman map in the OP.

Your post still doesn’t make sense. Why would the Ribacorzans let you in without asking how the hell all these reinforcements appeared. Further they would have knew you to not be Ribacorzans by appearance and language. Ergo they wouldn’t let you waltz in, get hammered drunk, then slaughtered. They’d instead close and bar the gates under some serious suspicions. Now since it’s a small fort, you do not detail it at all but list a keep which makes it not so small as to be stormed with ease; yet since they’d shut the gate you’d then have to try and storm it to take it in such a short time. Accounting for time to breach the gate or build ladders to mount the walls of course.

Your post is not canon until it makes logical sense. When I entrusted people to also play NPCs it was with the understanding that said NPCs wouldn’t be depicted as brain dead incompetents.
