Indeed, since Basil is still making it clear that he would wish to avoid a larger war. Also while mounting the Emirs head on a spear might seem barbaric to some and fit his reputation. He also showed himself to be respectable by letting Lu'Hakir and Muslims that surrendered live instead of being slaughtered.

I'd like to request to be allowed to take control of Malta to invade it in the future. Barring any other events that may come, my RP plans have the Sicilians invading Malta by no earlier than 1020.

Speaking of crusades the Taifa of Dénia (which I have butterflied away) invaded Sardinia in 1015 and 1016 sparking a joint Pisan-Genoese expedition with Papal approval to drive Dénia out. These expeditions are considered as photo-crusades and set the stage of Pisan expansion into Sardinia so its a fairly important conflict I carelessly butterflied away. We can't have that, so I am going to go after Dénia and would like permission to RP the giudicati of the island.
