In terms of names, how about 'Theomachy: Third Age'?

Mine is going to be a bit different to this rp, I will be borrowing some from African mythology in it's initial story and will be defining the different planes/worlds more in terms than just what one can justify. The third plane being based on the idea of abstract things while the other two represent change and chaos or order, stability and preservation.

So far my idea for a name is Re-Geniesis, as I am borrowing from the double creation idea of African mythology (inspired by the myths surrounding beings like Anansi and the man who became the sun and produced light from his armpit).

I'll have to see. Depends on how this new world looks like and whether or not is anything like the last rp. Kind of want to simply have Matrix exist in the new one now cuz having to constantly restart character growth and progression gets kind of...exhausting. But I'll see. I'd say depending on how things look I might at least have a character with more history already in his background before the rp. That way I don't have to have a brand new character just start from scratch not knowing what heck even oxygen is.

It might b a bit more complicated, I am conflicted on whether to have a week for a mythic age or just jump past that like this iteration. The latter will mean a much longer introductory post as I go over that mythic age. I assume you would prefer the latter.

I wasn't here for the last two instances, so this is more of a guess than anything else - would a mythic age involve creating the universe in which we are to roleplay? In that case, I'd personally prefer it; I suspect that it would allow us all to get a better grasp of the world and become more invested in it.

I am following a second creation type mythos, so it would be more recreating the universe.

I am kinda surprised that no one (when creating the cosmos) has ever tried to diverge from real-world physics though. Sure there have been gods doing wacky things but no real unearthly physics.

If you're going creation I'm going for something that creates. Like god of life or something.

No more gap-hag? Anyway the creation/genesis part will only last about a week. The rest will be more akin to this rp.

Also seperating the gods into 3 categories by three categories.
Firstly: Primordial (only 3), Elder and New. Elder gods can only make things that are immortal (or have longevity) like Tolkiens elves. They also are primarily the ones involved with creation. New gods can only make things that are finite, that have life spans consisting of aging and dying. Primordials can do both (I'll explain in the thread).

Secondly: Elysium's Celestial dieties; gods of light, preservation and order.
The Aether's Ethereal deities; gods of abstraction, mutability, mortality and life (or anything that doesn't fit the other two)
Gehenna's Cthonic deities; gods of darkness, change and chaos.

I'll explain further in the RP OOC thread but all a gods domains don't have to fit into their plane, they should just slant more to that plane than any other (with Aether being the fulcrum)

Idk about these linear catagories, as i had a sort of "god of architecture/designing stuff" god. Basicially very good at making things and crafting things, discluding live beings.

Oh yeah, you also don't have to fulfill all the categories. A god of light and change would fit well in any group. Persephone fits as cthonic because spring is a period of change through growth. Eros and Athena would fit as ethereal deities while one could argue Ares as ethereal or cthonic. Trivolia, your's could potentially fit as ethereal or cthonic depending on how you spin it. The descriptions given are meant to act as more of a guideline.
