You're correct, I want going to make a city and faction if I wasn't going to make a character with relations to them

Well to get the elephant out of the room, I found it quite uncouth of you to post in the IC before being accepted so I'd like to ask you to delete it until you are. Now to more technical issues. First your character: your bio is much too short, the Paean Legion would not accept a bandit into their ranks, A boon is not an enchanted item but an innate power bestowed on a character, and the limitations in your app are more character traits than real limitations that are meant to be there. Second, Clan Sword-Singer would be better suited for a faction app than group app as Group is meant for races. Finally, the rest of your apps will be on hold until the beforehand issues are all fixed.

OK, I think I fixed it. Check so I can know if its appropriate now.

Name: Wilhard Strauch
Age: 52
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
Image

Statistics:
Strength: 3
Agility: 5
Endurance: 3
Magical Prowess: 1
Bio: Old, stern, and sometimes cranky, it's much easier to accept that Wilhard Strauch sprang fully formed off a cliff of a mountain than the fact that he used to be a child of a woodsman. He was nothing significant to behold as he preferred the company of his father rather than the friendship of kids of his age. Brooding and conscientious, young Strauch caught the eye of an Inquisitor Captain who saw that he was ambidextrous when writing letters with both hands at once. The Inquisitor would asked his father to take him to the Free City of Faith to train to be a Witch Hunter. Given that the village Strauch grew up in was no stranger to skirmishes with the dark cults, the father accepted and Strauch was pried from his parents and was forced to enroll into the School of the Defense against the Dark Arts.

Ostracized by his bitterness, Strauch had to learn combat alone and without any close acquaintances. Given that the school assigned students to veteran Witch Hunters after completing six years of basic training, many young adults died or were seriously injured when thrust into combat against real enemies of the darkness. Wilhard, however, was not one of those students as he channeled all his bitterness and rage accumulated during his time during the Free City onto the heretics as he slashed and mauled his way to victory.

Taking up the rapier after casting aside his bastard sword and warhammer, Wilhard quickly learned after being bath in the fires of battle that he was quick on his feet, therefore making armor unnecessary when he couldn't be touched, at least until he overextended and a heretic broke his guard. Wilhard nearly lost his whole head if it weren't for the fact his other hand pulled out his sword and retaliated. He may have lost an eye but he remembered that he can use both his hands to wield swords. He began training relentlessly trying to duel wield and went into battle hoping to put his newfound skill to the test. Still, injuries were beginning to creep up on him as he was still a student and not a master. After he reached enough experience to gain approval from his mentors, Wilhard became known as Witch Hunter Wilhard or Inquisitor Strauch after graduating from the school when he was 32.

20 years after graduation, Witch Hunter Wilhard, like many of his peers, wandered the earth on foot hunting and purging the world of dark cults and blasphemous rituals. Unlike his peers, he hated that he was practically a cyclops and though he gotten used to the disadvantage, Wilhard cursed himself for being so careless in that one engagement all those years ago. That kind of constant reminder of his foolish mistake made him seem constantly frustrated to the people around him.

Since Strauch forgot where he used to live, not that he cared since he had no friends there to begin with, the Free City of Faith was his permanent home. It wasn't all bad since there was a beerhall (the only place that's not officially part of the holy city) where he would drink all his stress away. Unfortunately, the City and the Inquisition give out no payment in coin except only in food, shelter, and equipment. At least they were gracious enough to allow the Witch Hunters to employ their services elsewhere to earn some actual coin to fit in their purses. And that was what Witch Hunter Wilhard set out to do: sign up for membership of the Paean Legion. Maybe then he doesn't have to loot rotting corpses of heretics for some coins.
Heroic Boon:Duelist: Capable of dueling weapons in two different hands with upmost skill and competency in thrusting, slash and parry, and precision when fighting against a crowd of enemies or even one-on-one engagements.
Abilities:
  • Wing-footed: Sprint longer and faster without much issue with terrain, Strauch can outmaneuver his opponents and strike at a moments notice.
  • Deadeye: headshots from bladed weapons penetrate armor protection of man-sized enemies
  • Atonement: Strauch is capable of crafting talismans, charms and medicine to aid in the defense against the treacheries of the dark magic.

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t singlehandedly conquer a kingdom):
  • Lost his left eye during one of his duels
  • His protection against black magic is only basic level. He is not a priest who can offer protection against a whole host of evil spells.
  • His aging body. Not has young and energetic as he used to be
  • Sacrifices metal armor in exchange for speed and agility save for reinforced gloves and leather armor

Equipment:
  • Steel Rapier
  • Falchion
  • One-handed battleaxe
  • Medical herbs
  • Pen, ink, and paper for charms and talismans
  • Cleaning materials for his blades
  • A torch

Optional
Likes: A good pint of ale after a hard day of purging
Dislikes: Heretics
Greatest Fear: Losing his other eye. It'll take forever to find a mage potent enough in magic to restore eyesight

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Black Buzz-cut, Tan Skin, Grey Eyes, 6 ft, rarely seen without his armor, muscular
Image
Statistics:
Strength:3
Agility:3
Endurance:3
Magical Prowess:3

Bio:Hadrian was born to Kanan Marius, a clansman of Clan Sword-Singer. When he reached the age of 15, he was accepted into Clan Sword-Singer as a squire to Sword-master Bordello, a powerful warrior. Bordello trained Hadrian in the ways of the Sword-Singer, warriors who were considered the best sword-masters in the world. When he reached the age of 17, Hadrian was thrown out into the world to gain glory for the Clan. He went to Skyer Castle, the ancestral seat of Clan Sword-Singer and capital of Ariul, the home of the Sword-Singers. He joined up with "The Serpents of Skyer", a mercenary band of Sword-Singer's attempting to gain glory for the Clan. Together, they went from town to town, slaying bandits, stopping feuds from turning into bloodbaths, and gaining fame. Soon, they rivaled the "Moonlit Blades", the most powerful Sword-Singer mercenary bands. Drunk with victory, The Serpents of Skyer challenged the Moonlit Blades to a battle to the death. The battle lasted for seven days, and The Serpents of Skyer won, but Hadrian was the only survivor. The last Moonlit Blade had collapsed of exhaustion and Hadrian, feeling the need to move on from The Serpents, decided to gain the attention of the Legion. He decided to just send an application to the Legion in hopes of them accepting. He is considered arrogant, disciplined, and melancholy.

He would only be proficient in the Kriegsmesser, Dirk, and Claymore. So basically European weapons.

Just pointing-out that the single limitation of "Is horrible at using anything other than a sword" is amazingly vague.

Made it make more sense. I put it as that because I didn't want to make this op warrior who can do anything. I made it so if he loses his sword or something, he is almost completely powerless (besides his fists).

staring at a fire for two days isn't really how magic is learned in this setting unless the flame's super magical or the staring thing is established to be a very specific form of meditation. Otherwise he would have to be taught it. For an example I'd recommend looking at Atria's character Valan Narsh.

"The dragons insisted that those who give themselves to the flame will find themselves sustained by it. They didn’t expect the humans to take it so literally, some of them insane enough to jump wholly into the flame. Most didn’t survive, but some did and received a portion of them flame’s seemingly limitless power. Now, nearly all races travel far and wide both to see the beautiful gift and to learn the art of pyromancy."

Well, yeah, I suppose the fire is magical.
