The Union of Federative Soviet Republics wrote:Moscow Kremlin, Red Square, Union of Sovereign States, April 28, 2030President Yulia Tymoshenko would step onto the Podium, over the legendary Lenin Mausoleum. The Soldiers of the Union stand at attention, with the crowds behind them cheering. She waves into the crowd, and then the crowd goes silent. She would begin "Comrades! Citizens! Brothers and sisters! Men of our army and navy! I am addressing you, my friends! The perfidious military attack on our great ally, Scotland, begun on , and is now continuing. In spite of the heroic resistance of the United States and Scottish Armies, and although the enemy's finest divisions and finest units have already been smashed and have met their doom on the field of battle, the enemy continues to push forward, hurling fresh forces into the attack. Britain's troops have succeeded in capturing Scottish Oil Rigs. A grave danger hangs over our world. How could it have happened that our glorious allies surrendered Scottish territory and districts to the Imperialist army? Is it really true that British troops are invincible, as is ceaselessly trumpeted by the boastful imperialist propagandists? Of course not! History shows that there are no invincible armies and never have been. Napoleon's army was considered invincible but it was beaten successively by Russian, English and German armies. Kaiser Wilhelm's German Army in the period of the first imperialist war was also considered invincible, but it was beaten several times by the Russian and Anglo-French forces and was finally smashed by the Anglo-French forces. The same must be said of Britain's army today. This army had not yet met with serious resistance on the British Isles. Only on Off-shore territory has it met serious resistance. And if, as a result of this resistance, the finest divisions of Britain's Imperialist army and navy have been defeated by our Allies, it means that our armies too can be smashed and will be smashed as were the armies of Napoleon and Wilhelm. As to part of Scottish Territory having nevertheless been seized by British troops, this is chiefly due to the fact that the war of Britain on Scotland began under conditions favorable for the English forces and unfavorable for Scottish forces. The fact of the matter is that the troops of England, as a country at war, were already fully mobilized, and the 170 divisions hurled by England against Scotland and brought up to the new frontiers, were in a state of complete readiness, only awaiting the signal to move into action, whereas the Union's troops had still to effect mobilization and move up to the frontier.
Of no little importance in this respect is the fact that Imperialist Britain suddenly and treacherously violated the Treaty of Dublin she concluded in 2028 with the US, Ireland, and the Union, disregarding the fact that she would be regarded as the aggressor by the whole world. Naturally, our peace-loving country, not wishing to take the initiative of breaking the treaty, could not resort to perfidy. It may be asked how could the Union's Government have consented to conclude a Non-Aggression Pact with such treacherous fiends as Britain? Was this not an error on the part of the Union's Government? Of course not. Non-Aggression Pacts are pacts of peace between states. It was such a pact that Britain proposed to us in 2029. The State Committee of Defense has entered upon its functions and calls upon all people to rally around the Party of United Union and around the Union's Government, so as to self-denyingly support the Union's Army and Navy, demolish the enemy and secure victory. All our forces for support of our heroic Red Army and our glorious Red Navy! All forces of the people--for the demolition of the enemy! We Formally declare war on the United Kingdom of England! Forward, to our victory!". The Crowd went cheering. The Union's National Band began to play the national anthem. As the President left the stage, MiGs would fly over, shooting out colored smoke that was the main color of the Union's flag. It was made official, that the Union of Sovereign States had declared war on the United Kingdom of England.
UNA
Presidents Richardson, Vasquez, and Shift stepped on to a podium in front of Congress, cameras filming the event and broadcasting it to the world.
"I come before you today, to discuss the events in the Channel." President Richardson begins "Today, at 4:30 AM, the SS West Virginia found and sank a British Ballistic Submarine, the previous day, Russian and American Marines ousted a British assault force that was trying to seize Scottish Oil Rigs. This, we think, is to far, we ask that the UNA... Declare war on the United Kingdom of England." She steps back, and Pres. Shift steps forward
"We have thought long and hard about this, and we are decided, we have reports saying that the 4th and 5th armies are ready to land at British Missile installations. The Russians have declared war, this war will be quick and easy. We believe that it will strengthen the bond between the people of our newly formed nation. I am aware that you may be hesitant to have a war on the second day of our nation's existence, but, we need to get on the world stage to hold back blatant Russian Imperialism, we are allies, but we have a responsibility to keep them stable and keep them in check." He steps back and Pres. Vasquez steps forward.
"We all remember when NATO was strong and oil was prosperous, but those days are over, and England has turned coat on the world, attacking her own brothers, and on good conscience, I can not stand that thought. We need to coexist, and if we need to crack some skulls to get there, so be it." He steps back, and the Congressmen and women discuss amongst themselves.
(4-6, they declare war, 1-3 they don't I rolled four times and took the majority vote. DEMOCRACY BITCHES!)
1 hour later, they vote is cast. 20% want to not declare war 15% undecided, 65% for war.
The spokesperson clears is throat.
"The votes have been cast, and the decision is, the Union of North America will declare war. The official papers will be written now."
The Presidents walk out of the building, relief and satisfaction on their faces.
