I have to see looking at a lot of apps for this rp is that the premise is seeming to be a tad ignored. A collapse in oil production and the loss of the worlds second largest economy would send the world into a depression on a scale of the Wall Street crash. So all these nations being big and economically stable is a bit odd.

History: In 2020 Japan began a massive program to make childcare easier in order to keep the population from declining. They began by offering a subsidy of 150 USD per child, as well as tax cuts on sales and income. They opened up free government childcare centers that helped care for children for free. They also created an app that aided parents by connecting them to childcare services like babysitters and daycare, the made it mandatory to offer free lunches at schools, and they created a program that would help parents plan out savings and funding so they could afford to have children. This all was paid for by slight increases in tariffs and sales taxes that helped also give small boosts to local economics. The population is expected to stop its decline around 2035 at around 119 million people.

Meanwhile the government also stopped the rapid decrease in value of the Japanese Yen which helped bring stability to the economy. They also solved the Japanese Debt crisis by decreasing expenditures and interest rates, this allowed them to begin paying back debts. However a big boost to this was the collapse of China. Since the world had turned to crap, Japan began going to high debtors and demanding they forgive debts using 'bigger army diplomacy'. The first victim was the Philippines. The nation had gone to crap after several groups split off creating their own unofficial governments. The nation was made an example. Following this show of strength Japan decided to further its power by taking the islands of Micronesia, not for the islands themselves but their rich economic areas. Japan remains a strong and stable republic and has begun to integrate these territories entirely.

Uh here is an image of what I am thinking:

The green shows my fleets rout and the red is British fighters sortie. So what I am thinking is that because no naval commander would think going through the English channel is in any way a good idea that Iberian forces were planning to go to Scotland all along. Which yes was my plan even before you attacked me with your aircraft because very few would think it is a good idea to go through the English channel. Your aircraft left from southern England and engaged my fleet around the southwest of Ireland. Does that sound okay? also we can assume my fleet took a couple days getting up there which I will edit in real quick does April 16th raise any objections?
