Just curious, could those making tribes make 2? I think things can get a bit slow with them (waiting to be discovered, ect.), and we can get a realustic number of them.

The Large Mamluks is to take the place of an Ottomans destroyed by Byzantium. The Mamluks controlled the Levant in the late 15th century in our timeline to begin with, and if the Byzantines managed to destroy the Ottomans in the 11th Century like this timeline has stated it is only natural that the Egyptians take their place in the Power Vacuum as they had a nation with substantial power. In the early 16th century the Ottomans controlled Greece, Asia Minor, The Levant, Hejaz, Egypt down through Abysinnia, and a portion of North Africa. This alternate Mamluks simply trades Greece and Asia Minor for the bottom portion of Arabia and more of North Africa, which is less valuble land than a historically correct Ottomans would have. So yes, it is an Empire, but because a fractured Arabia would not make geopolitical sense.

Im just tryin to bring to light some historical reasons why I would have as much land, If you still disagree I totally get it.
