The Dark Blue forest

Postby Blueflarst » Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:25 am

The armored skeleton god was training many time with his soldiers in his castle
One day the spirits cloud expanded from the castle and the farms around it into the forest which circle the castle
The Blue flames of the torches in the castle became more intense and the cold of the cloud was now on the forest
As when the cloud appeared in the castle in the forest all the animals excepting some exotic species fleed out
The limbo beetween the spirits and the material world strenghtened
The spirits where now visible to human eyes in the forest aswell
Many humans started to go in the forest to talk with spirits
Some of them developed inusual abilities and became mediums[people who talk with spirits]
The forest was known as enchanted for humans

One day some wood elves entered realizing that something creepy happened
They saw armored skeletons wandering in the forest and were terrified
One of them made the mistake of firing an arrow to one of them
The skeleton charged fast and slaughtered his head at the other wood elves presence after he started his usual walk
The wood elves came back to his forest and told alarmed of the forest soon all the wood elves knew about that forest
Some tribes forbidden their explorers to enter inside, when others just told their members to be alerted
Soon the high elves authorities knew of the enchanted forest but hided it of the people
some marine elves knew creepy legends about a forest with skeletons and humans humans ralking with spirit entities

One day the armored skeleton god made a monument at the entrance of his castle humans saw it and some of them started to fear the skeleton god and his soldiers

They spent much time brainstorming at this meeting and came up with a few novel ideas on prayer and tribute. One concern brought up at the meeting was how someone would get to petition. There was concern that if the people who revere Barathon grow in number, he might one day have a very long line emanating from his doorway. It raised question of such as how many concerns could he inquire into at one time and so the council decided that as the demand for divine intercession grew, the more the religious community should utilize a way for him to look into more prayers at once. And so it was decided that little magical reception points throughout the community would be created from which prayers could be channeled through to his psyche. Among the line of reception points and a distance in their vicinities would be the areas which he could hear prayers from.

There would be more than one type of these points and their signal strengths would vary by type. There would be at least one station where all the prayers would be evaluated and sorted through by subject, importance, and other factors such as the person who made it. There would be special representatives of his will and judgement involved in the process of hearing and reacting to prayers. These individuals would have some small measure of access to his divine power but in a very limited an insignificant manner. There would be a divine justice system and review and complaint process implemented so that way these holy figures could not abuse their power and the system that gave them it.

Prayer would be made available in many different forms and at many different locations. These places would include but of course not be limited to altars, shrines, and temples. There would be a process of authority in some cases but of course these fine details and specifics of the young religion did not have to be hammered out in one council meeting. Soon shrines will be available in homes, on roadsides, sidewalks, workplaces and all sorts of other places. Altars as well.

In a place where a significant number of worshippers are, a temple is to be built. Prayers could also be given via writing. The receiving and reviewing of prayers would be organized in a way that minimizes the risk of important emergency pleas are missed. If necessary the number of clergy will be raised so that more prayers can be received more hours of the day. Clergy would have shifts so that prayers can be heard and responded to at all times. Who's prayers get answered at what time would be sorted out via deliberation, calculation and sorting amongst the clergy.

The entire grid of the the prayer system is to be interconnected and all leading back to some few key locations, including Barathon himself. Prayers can be transmitted in many different ways, some of them being telepathic, orally, writing, and eventually other ways too.

And so in that first meeting it was decided that no more prayers should be had until more council meetings are held and the system is more fully hammered into being and implemented. Regardless, they began the process of setting up what would possibly be among the very first and most pivotal religions one would ever see. People were getting tired and there were other things in the day needed done.

Many things had already been decided at the first council meeting and it really had dragged on.
(Like this post lol. Sorry. Just got really into the mechanics of how a god might receive and answer prayers.).

The world was moving. Moving ever faster in some ways, but the sweeping orchestral changes to the world seemed to change. The inertia of the present barrelling towards the future upon a seemingly straight arrow of time was a powerful force. Yet opposites long for eachother, and this great force of entropical sameness pulled into existence another. The Aus: a cohort of 30 shimmering , flickering beings came to be n the edge of creation , longing to bring change good and and bad to this new world. This was their purpose above all: Change , Chance , Rebirth and New Beginnings. They flickered into a constellation above the world, gazing upon their domain and discovering the many great things about their universe just as they began to form thoughts of themselves and the plane. They were not of one mind, and each host had different ideason how to change this world , but they all knew one thing : chance must come into being. Their metallic voices came into chorus saying : "We have come of the void, and we say that the world has continued on too long on a simple path, and so we grant unto this world the property of chance. Take this as both a blessing and a curse , for chance does not have love but for change." The host of Aus set down onto the earth and approached the various peoples of the planet and showed to them the properties of the various forms of chance , and asked for worship in their halls of gambling and throughout the uncertainty or stagnation of life.

Employing her loom, the goddess wrapped a deep crimson cord around the mortal woman's waist and then set out from Argo in search of Lethargo. The High Elf convention on prayers and offerings for Barathon the wise would be reconvened soon enough as people were impatient to return to favor buying again. (To put it bluntly). The people whom were wanting favors had already gone about the business of building of the very first temple of the Barathonian religion in the city. They had already begun working on the magic that would allow them to channel their prayers to him and give their offerings. It of course was imperfect and imprecise, mortal magic being kind of mostly in its experimental stages at this moment but it was quite a good start.

They seemed to have elected some temporary priestess on the condition that the priestess knew that this position of power she received might only be temporary and that if Barathon rejected her authority that she would NOT be staying in power. They had begun building an altar in the church first thing before anything else. They, just like himself, knew not as much about him as they possibly could. In fact just the decision on where to build the temple and who could and could not be a member of clergy caused much argument amongst the people but they soon enough judged that Barathon was not the type to be offended by something so simple as his own ambiguity and punish them for an imperfect start to the temple.

Some long wooden table spanning some distance from left to right in the room served as an altar to this church and they did their best with what they had to go off of when it came to what he liked. They knew that he seemed to like reading. They knew he liked nature, especially pretty things like flowers. They had asked someone in the community just what sorts of things he might like and had gotten some answers.

Soon enough they had (after some time of arguing amongst themselves) placed things like flower bouquets on the altar and argued some more on the correct way of going about things. They lined up the presents along the sparse of the long table with offerings such as flowers, gifts of tapestries they had made in his honor, as a figure famous for his sewing capabilities. There was even a moment when one of them considered gifting him the gift of a fair Elvish maiden and placing HER on the altar but of course somebody had wisely talked them out of that horrific possibility.

The Elvish priestess and her followers had begun thinking up ways to enchant the church to best facilitate the offering of prayers and enable the use of a system to feed his power with the offerings. They began the processes of setting the stones in place for the building and working on things like the foundation. Already, argument on how to build the church and specifics had ensued but these things would work themselves out. They had been successful, unknowingly in their processes. All that power, however insignificant at this moment was being stored there at that temple. They had even found a way to preserve some of the things in the that temple so that it wouldn't spoil. This power of course, he knew there was a need for much much more of it before he could even begin to collect.

Chubbs and Gol,
The Divine Asshole and His Children

Chubbs went across the world to see what he can do to make life fun for mortals and see what his creatures have been doing.

As he split himself in three to cover more ground, he noticed that some Gol were in different areas except the jungles, they saw the other mortals and pulled pranks or snuck around just to have parties with the rest of the mortal kind.

They were his renagades, making trouble and having fun doing it as new nations came upon the world but even they formed their own settlements. He didn't mind them nation building, he actually encouraged it as he wanted his little pranksters to be big and bad.

He went to them and structured government and leadership based on the most skilled and smartest, he made them work for their positions for just have kingdoms and family bloodlines were stupid and tricksters always needed to be a step ahead of the other mortal races.

Competitions were held for skill and test who can be the best of the best for their tribes. Many of those who wish to be warriors were skilled in stealth and stole things from elven kings, headbutt a bull, or bury a vampire.

These sort of things were used to show their skill to their Monkey Father as they can pull pranks on the other races. They showed in their worship and came together as the Gol Confederation, which was a little... generic but they just began to nation build so he doesn't mind too much.

As he left, he saw them give thanks and prayer to their creator and helper of the first Gol nation. Because of this, Chubbs thought of one more idea to help his people.

The Divine Asshole tore open a wound between to the Spirtual Realm and threw some of the most intelligent, spiritual, and lucky into it and use it's energies to bring magic and mana to the world.

He charged up and mixed the Gol he threw in there, making them charged with magic and put a portion of his divinity and make sure that the power works for the mortals.

The Gol fell from the scar like a meteor of magical energy, making the entire world see it in both fear and awe. To Chubbs, this was one of his greats. Those who fell became Trickstets, conduits of the divine energy and natural mages.

They can lead worship of the Monkey Father and will help being among the defenders and pranksters of the Gol. Chubbs didn't care for he left a literal scar on creation.

Action: Spend 20% to rip open an opening to the Spiritual Realm and leak mana to creation. Residue will mutate as a consequence of Chubbs fucking.
Spend 10% to make Gol divine Trickesters known as Conduits to the god and are the first mages in creation.

The Gol continued trolling on a much larger scale because of their nation building. Hilarity and chaos ensues because of them doing this.

In the Oppermenian peninsula, a religion develops out of the Nagy Farkas-Oher pantheon. The people of the peninsula worship their creators, adding to their power and influence.

As Anamara spoke to her children, Lethargo appeared before her. Had she bothered to notice, she might have realised that he was in a rage but as it were, she did not. She cared nothing for his emotional state, only that he was present. The goddess dressed in blood-red stood up, flexing the dark wings on her back as she combed her hair with her hand. The goddess of necromancy said only one word, issued a single command:"Leave!".

As the grey amorphous form wrapped around her neck, Anamara screamed. Some of the dragons moved to aid her but she glared them away as scales began to form from her skin. Flesh darkened and her body grew, a tail slipped out under her dress. Sharp talons raked at the blob as the weakened deity tried to free herself from her attacker. Her mouth grew longer, more like a spear and great curved horns spiraled from behind her eyes. "Get off me fool." She growled, her beautiful voice now a low rumble. Most of the dragons fled, many banding together as they ran of flew from the battle between two of their creators.

As the other diety climbed into her mouth, Anamara gagged in disgust and almost poured out bile from her body. Now trully enraged, she resisted the urge to bite down on her attacker but instead passed out waves of searing flames and noxious gasses to force him from her body. Sharp claws dug into the earth as a method with which she was trying to cope. Her tailed thrashed back and forth, trees were felled in the madness and the huts of the village were destroyed in the violence.

Beings the fact he doesn't have a nervous system, or a nose, the flame and gas was little more then smoke and mirrors. He climbed deeper into her throat, pushed only by the will of revenge, and the hope he could fall asleep after this.

Noticing that her efforts to expel the foul invader by breath were proving fruitless, she decided to attempt another tactic. Force and form for a state in which one could invade her, Anamara's body dissolved into shadow and darkness. There was no longer any solid form on which one could climb, no did have any real vulnerability to invasion from a fool or fiend as nothing but shade and gloam.

So tired at this point, that any continuation of combat might cause Lethargo to drop as close to dead as a God could, he simply rolled in the general direction of the City which he was so fond of, Argo.

The sound of wind rustling through the bamboo shoots swept over the clearing with a howling chill. Soft green grasses nestled around the base of the slender viridescent stalks, allowing creatures to slip through unnoticed and of which provided a soft bed for those creatures which found themselves wandering about the domain. There was a certain air to the grove which seemed to suggest a place with which someone could relax, to be unperturbed by the vast world outside its leafy walls of jade. The ground underneath was smooth and even, slightly damp from a recent amount of rain, yet not so moist that one would sink when standing on it with heavy boots. It was the perfect amount of firmness and gentle soil. The wind was gentle and the bamboo swayed blissfully with its pushes, even they could appreciate a fine day as it was.

Deeper inside the grove the bamboo was thickened by age and stronger winds, the stalks clearly being matured more so than those on the outside. It was unusual since the wind typically came from the outside inwards but for whatever reason the winds came from within and spread out. There was an abundance of wildlife in this part of the grove. Mice were running freely among the undergrowth and occasionally were snapped from life by the fangs of bloodthirsty predators. Curiously there were no large mammals wondering this grove area, merely there were many small animals. Not to say there weren't large creatures that ate bamboo, just that his particular patch of land harbored no such megafauna.

Traveling to the heart of the grove one would find a peculiar gem. A village comprising of sixteen large houses and about sixty-four people. Of these people there were only four above the age of sixty and about sixteen below the age of thirteen. Thus the majority of the people were between the ages of fourteen and fifty-nine, in other words they were of an age that they could not escape the manual labor required to keep their sacred home together. They were not an advanced people, their homes were made of bamboo and wild grasses, the occasional bit of actual wood which may or may not have been traded for. Where the rest of the world had entered the Bronze Age, these people seemed to be somewhere behind that even, as though they were just beginning to transition from hunter-gatherer to metal tools and weapons.

The villagers were hard at work, as it was. They were busy preparing for the coming gathering period. These people would gather bamboo every fourteen days in order to repair their homes or to trade with outsiders at the very edge of the grove. It was a ceremonial day not too much unlike a holiday elsewhere, at the least people were jubilant. Their religion was effectively animism, belief that sacred spirits inhabited all things living, dead and inanimate. It was not uncommon with tribe people, but they did not know of any of the Gods which had forged the world by which they now lived. They were ignorant of their creators, though living a lifestyle where death from exposure was common it was hard to judge them.

Somewhere between the thick-bamboo and the slender-stalks a new being had popped symbolically into existence. The creature fell immediately towards the ground and was cushioned lightly enough to not hurt his rump, but to still grunt from the impact. The man stood fully dressed with silver hair and red eyes, though he was unaware of both as only moments prior he didn't exist in any real meaning of the world. Some information had already been formulated in his brain which set him apart from a mortal man. He was a God, a Secundus to be precise. He didn't understand entirely what a Secundus was, a vague description. "A God created after the beginning of the world." Those words were emblazed in his mind, along with a rather long list of other gods, some of which were labeled as "Primus." Putting two and two together, he presumed that Primus must be Gods created before the beginning of the world.

He sat neatly on a nearby boulder which was very much out of place within the grove. He sat upon the boulder for two long days and images and information flooded his mind. Caught in this deep transmission of information, he came to understand that his name was Kamitonaru. Along with him there were a further four Secundus in existence, along with twenty-one Primus. All in all, he was part of a new breed and held immense potential, a huge amount of divine power yet to be unleashed. Looking around, he saw nothing that was concerning to him. Nothing to do, it was something that he simply couldn't abide. As he turned his mind to creation he began to picture two beautiful creatures,

The first began as a large, formless blob of white clay. Slowly he molded it into shape, sprouting arms and legs, then a neck, a head and a tail. With a delicate knife he carved out the inside of the body and made it hollow, leaving a skeleton of the original clay to harden into bone. Using a variety of materials he created the heart, the lungs and the other organs. To move vital components between them he turned water into blood and filled the body with veins by which to transport the blood. He began to mold a softer red clay into the muscles around the body, and when he was finished with that he added a nervous system. Many additions later and with much material used, two dozen living creatures sat before him. they blinked at the forest with curious eyes. They were made for it, not to just inhabit it but to become a part of it, central to their life was the forest. When the forest came to harm they would protect it, they would live by symbiosis. When the Forest thrived, so would the creatures. When it suffered, the creature would wither and die down.

Kamitonaru thought for a long moment before a name came to fruition. "Panda. I will call you Giant Pandas." He said to the creatures. They could understand him unlike the other creatures of the Forest. He was their father and they were his first children. Painted black and white, they would find the Grove and other such bamboo-forests to be paradises. Still, something felt wrong as he watched them lumber off with their mating partners. That is, if there was a Giant Panda, should there not be another variety of Panda? As though commanded by an angry spirit he set to work on his next creation.

He used a much more vibrant template for his new creatures. Their bodies would be small and slim, they would have nimble paws and a more curious nature than their older siblings. Feeling more confident in himself, Kamitonaru decided that he should also add a splash of color to their coats. Once he was finished hollowing out the bodies and filling them with the proper equipment, once he was done animating them with life, once he had finished creating many different pairs, then he added the color. A vibrant fiery red was the perfect shade, the perfect hue. Still something felt off. He added black to the blank areas of the body before stopping and stepping back to admire his beautiful work. Just as intended the creatures were hopping and skipping about, playing and bonding with one another. "I think i will call you Red Pandas" and with that he wondered if it would be wrong to make Pink and Neon Green Pandas. He decided that yes, that was a step too far.

Having finished with his creations he was much weaker than he had been before. He felt about half as light and half as strong. which could have been a good or a bad thing. At the least, the immense potential beneath his skin had washed away and he felt serenesss, which he had to admit that he welcomed. Just as the last of the Red Panda disappeared into the bamboo stalks a creature not unlike him appeared in front of him. Her hair was black, her eyes were a dark hue of brown and her skin was a silky white. Her dress was that of a tribalistic society and that is what he immediately understood. He came to a quick understanding that she must have come from a nearby village. She was much smaller than him and he stood swiftly to prevent her from charging off. "Take me to your village!" he demanded, causing her to quake at the sight.

He was unnatural looking, and the woman seemed to be a coward in her own right. She led him straight back to the shacks in the center of the grove, the village of tribal dwellers in the moment preparing to harvest some bamboo. With a loud booming voice he spoke, it carried with authority. "People of this village, heed my words and come to where i am. I have important news." The villagers slowly streamed out of their homes, a little girl hiding behind her grandmother clutched at a bamboo-doll in fear of the great being that stood before them. He doubted they had seen many gods in their time, and he didn't feel it was important to explain much to them.

"My name is Kamitonaru and i am a God born in this grove. Heed my words, i have created two new species of creature. They will be known as the Red Panda and the Giant Panda, and will be harmless to you for as long as you show respect and deference to this grove. Should you burn the bamboo, they will destroy your homes and kill your people. Should someone else come to this grove and do it harm, they will face the wrath of my creations. They are my wards so treat them well."

The eldest man, probably the village elder stepped forwards. "Wise oh might God! Why have you come to our grove, surely not to tell us of your...creations." His hestiation was an insult but one that Kamitonaru was alright with bearing. Hastily he responded, his booming voice causing the tribals to stir in momentary fear. "I also come to spread my word, that i will be the protector of your village. Grow strong and create many healthy children, then go forth and spread your people across the world. Under my protection you shall come to no harm, and under my protection i will grant you safety and wisdom."

Y-yes, My God. What of the other spirits and creatures of the grove, do they not exist? What of their presence? How can we possibly worship someone such as yourself?" The questions were of course a powerplay. If he were an imposter then surely he would suggest something like "Leave gold outside your windows at night" or "Bring food to so and so cave every other day "You can begin to worship me with this shrine that i will create for you. In time you will create your own shrines, but this time you will use the shrine i present to you. As for the other spirits of the grove, i can tell you confidently that i am the only spirit in the grove." he nodded and the people nodded, they seemed to understand if not agree.

With their consent granted he took a step forwards and flicked one of his fingers, bringing the boulder he had sat upon to him. Using a knife previously used to carve out pandas, he sliced off bits of rock. Eventually the work was finished. The Shrine took the appearance of a fox statue, and would be a place of worship for the tribe, who called themselves the Bemosan, literally meaning "People of Bamboo" but correctly meaning "People of the Bamboo Grove." The Bemosan bowed one by one to him, and he understood immediately that if he were to try this in a city it would fail spectacularly. A group of tribals was one thing, but it was a nice place to start. With his creations roaming the forest, lazily eating away at the bamboo and his people now worshipping a shrine he had created and representing him. In truth his alternate form was a tanuki rather than a fox, but he was content to allow the people to think a fox was significant to him. He took the next day to rest, having used up a vast quantity of power to create his things.

Kamitonaru is born. Kamitonaru makes Red and Giant Pandas. Kamitonaru convinces a small tribe to worship him.

Action: Expend 50% Divine Power to create the Giant and Red Pandas, Expend a further 8% to create a moderately sized statue of a fox for worship in a tribal village.

The Empire of Yokotari is a Alternate Nation of the person who rules over The Frozen Forest, it is purposely mean to not represent my personal views, and is meant to mimic a Japanese Empire-esque state. I have no intention of letting it fade away and i intend to develop it. If you want to interact with it shoot me a telegram either through this nation or The Frozen Forest.

Barathon had moved some of his gifts onto an altar in the brand new church, the rest he would use in his new house when he was done moving into it. For the time being he simply moved into a bigger place but soon enough he would be in the process of obtaining more and more land that he owned in exchange for favors. He found Elven society to be too clustered in one place for him to be comfortable so he planned to instead encourage Elves to move farther away from the original areas they inhabited and he would mold the land that was previously inhabited into a thing of his liking.

It would be a hectic ordeal but he found the Elves would later thank him for it. For now he made sure to spend some time ironing out the fine details of his new religion with the council, until everything important and conceivable had been covered to his liking. He had made sure everything was to his liking and that his followers had a guide for how he liked things. That's why he wrote some article on how he wanted the religion to be and had scribes make copies of his book so that it could be spread around as needed.

After some time he had noticed at least one act of aggression on his people and was saddened by it. Why did they have to do this? Why must they harm them like this. He soon addressed his (very few at this point) people and told them he was going on a journey to the Hoomie lands beyond, where the aggressive beings that had attacked them once before dwelt. The people were saddened by this and asked him if he really had to go. He told them yes and explained that he needed to find out the reason for the hoomies's aggression so he could understand them better. Before he went had made sure to leave the High Elves of his city some kernels of wisdom to govern themselves by. For example he made sure to remind them of the value of humility and that despite being literal extension of the will of Ellendelle, that they were still flawed and had yet more learning to do.

And so he pack his bags for trip ahead of him. There was no real danger of anything ahead of him that would warrant a need for anything but he liked to have his stuff packed for the trip ahead just to know the feeling of going on an adventure. Similarly he knew with his powers he had no need of a gryphon steed but saddled one up none the less. He needed to know what mortals felt like whilst traveling. And so soon enough he took off flying on the wings of a gryphon, a few Elves seeing him off with bittersweet farewells. They had all been instructed on how to manage if by some chance he were to not return for some reason. This moment would then on be forever etched into the annals of divine history.

Without changing form, Anamara decides to deliver justice unto her attacker. The shadow pursued the blob-like diety. Mostly incorporeal, the shade congealed and hardened shadow into spike to strike her foe. Gashes were sliced into the earth and great javelins of darkness pierced the land as the goddess trailed the hume creator in her terrible rage.

Lethargo eventually stopped rolling, slowly obviously, but once he stalled, the grey blob turned into something almost liquid, and settled on the ground.

Along the ride Barathon made sure to keep his awareness open to all that happened around so as to keep them safe. Sure, any hostile forces below the power of any of his fellow gods would be insignificant to his own power. But he couldn't necessarily say the same about his flying steed. His Gryphon WASNT immortal like himself.

He cast his awareness out into the forest below them as they sped above the tree-tops, tracing the attackers back to their home bases. In his concentrated vision he was led towards a city of humans. He didn't know the name but those who did called it Argos. He rode towards the city on the back of his flying beast. He wondered how far these humans could see in comparison to Elves. Would they see him coming? Should he perhaps approach a different way? Just how would he be received? Surely one lone Gryphon rider wouldn't be cause for too harsh a reaction right?

Nevertheless he made sure to have his bow and quiver of arrows ready to let loose at a moment's notice....

Trials and Tribulations of Insensitive Gods

Postby Augustus Legions » Fri Sep 21, 2018 2:45 pm

The Holy City of Argo

After Princess Canonica awoke, getting a sleep greater than the happiest maidens in the land, she found the Dog, which, after figuring out it was not there to murder her, decided to keep the good boy. After much debate with her few month old daughter, Apatheria, which involved many gurgles and baby laughs, Canonica decided to go with the name "Orion."

The weeks waned on, and she convinced her father, Templar Ceraluss, to build a public shrine to Ashora. The people, who for the most part, supported their beloved Princess decision, publicly praised the God, and after much deliberation amongst the church keepers, decided to add Lady Ashora to the Argians Pantheon as the lady of the Stars, the Moon, and the nights sky, as well as dogs, pottery, and charity.

In the Grand Chapel, where a clay, gray form of a man, depicting Creator Lethargo forming the human, not far from a mural, depicting a great sea serpent fighting a mighty gold Dragon, depicting the fight of the Protector Caver against the Abominable Anamara, and a small plaque which told the tale of Oher's gift of writing, the Church Keepers added a great orb to the chapel's roof, which glow a Pale white, kept by magic. Depicting the star for which Lady Ashora is said to watch all things of man.

The humans of Argos had NOT in fact noticed him. So now he approached the city looking for a good place to land. He had decided to land on the outskirts of the city so as to allow his Gryphon an area to roam around whilst he was gone. Organizing what to take and not take with him on his trip through the city, he soon got to thinking how he should best go about this investigation.

He decided that perhaps he should first get to see what the humans are like up close when they think nobody is watching. He had originally pondered as he looked about the surrounding landscape and wilderness, if he should present himself and see how they would react. But now he saw that doing so might drive them into a frenzy and ruin any chance of observing them in their natural element. And so that's why before he headed into the city he made sure to bend the light around himself so that the humans wouldn't see him. Now the only things they might see are his shadow and perhaps his footprints. As a guy who had been taught grace by the Elves his footprints weren't as noticeable in the land before him as they could be.

Because Argo is an old city, many farms and cottages rose up in the outskirts of the town, like the one of Kol Verinamian, a 40 something year old farmer, who owns a spear because beasts still roam and raid the outskirts. Kol was one of a select few who had noticed the oversized eagle land, and he took his spear to investigate.]

It has been a sight to watch my children grow and develop themselves. I have provided all the essentials for them to grow without the issue of the weather that I gifted to the land. Migrant waves have turned up to settle directly upon my created monument. They have started to worship my shrine, giving me even more strength to bend the world with my power. I have heard that my children spoke of Åleried, a name speaking of the area around my monument. I think it is also the name of the settlement itself as well that was created upon my shrine. So far, Åleried has been the largest settlement in the North, housing 134,546 people and expanding. My faith has been spread far and wide in the North. There’s no one that does not know of my power. They have called me many things. The god of winter and ice, the storm bringer, the frost, and many more names.

In order for my people to expand and build a greater civilization, I must advise them in the lessons of better statecraft. The lessons of basic law, order, social contract, and bureaucracy shall aid them in organizing themselves better. I shall also aid my children in the fields of mathematics, basics of counting, and equations akin to 2 times 2. And lastly, I shall gift some of my children - the power to bend water and turn it into ice, snow, and into any other contingency of water-based elements.

Gifts to Northmen
3% - Basic Administration Skills
4% - Basic Mathematics
5% - Gift some devoted followers, the power to bend water and it's contingency of water-based elements.
