While Portugal's economy was relatively stable, Spain's was on a cliff edge ever since 2008. When China's economy collapsed, Spain's was one of the first to follow, dragging Portugal's along with it. Both countries went into anarchy within months... and then the flooding started.
The sea was visibly rising. Storms ravaged the whole of the Iberian peninsula. Over the course of the flooding, many factions rose and fell, all with a male leader who was eventually killed by another. 99% of the population of the peninsula died, and the rest were scattered across islands.
A 9-year-old girl named Isabella was the first to explore these islands, ravaged by violence and poverty. She picked up the pieces under a policy of harmony, peace and collaboration. Her maiden voyage was on November 14th, 2020, her birthday. She had lost both her parents to the flooding in late 2019, and while she still had not fully recovered, she was brave, and had survived the last year alone.
A few years later, the she discovered the Second Dolphins. With Isabella's policies established almost completely throughout the archipelago, they were granted citizen status and treated as equals. In early 2025, Isabella is 13, and is looking both south and east, to unite more people under peace and harmony and to fight against piracy. The total population at the moment is 411,307.
Number Of Armed Members: 40,000 - ships usually contain 20-30 people who have a couple of weapons to defend against pirates.

Description (Must Be One Paragraph Long):
The dolphins had roamed the Iberian Peninsula for a long time, but when the seas rose, they moved 'inland'. However, there was a lot of radiation, and mutations occurred. Many died from these directly killing them, others could not survive due to the mutations hampering them, but some gained mental boosts. It was well known that dolphins were the smartest species on Earth, but when they mutated, they gained telepathic abilities. They learnt Spanish and Portuguese, and communicated with people from time to time.
However, when Queen Isabella of the Iberian Archipelago discovered their abilities, they became citizens in their own right. While some people attempted to exploit them, they were unable to and were punished. Today, the Second Dolphins are very friendly with humans, and are starting to branch out into the world. However, what they find may change their view on people - for the worse...

After the collapse of the US, the Local Army National Guard at Redstone Arsenal declared martial law, and many civilians formed militias to assist the limited Soldiers. They absorbed Huntsville, putting the Police into the Militias. The Militias and some of the soldiers pushed out, getting more militias and civilians, then stopped expanding. They began to built scrap walls around their territory to keep the Anarchist Militias out of the practically Stable Area. The FBI base in Redstone became the RH's version of the CIA, and the equipment at the Arsenal became the Weapons of the new Republic. The area outside Huntsville proper is Relatively safe, with minor break ins of criminals. Huntsville Proper is still a small city, but is one of the most stable in the US, falling in the 7th most stable. They then began to built old Patton Models, because the Arsenal didn't contain many tanks, and the Patton was less taxing on the economy.
