MHA NEXT GEN APPLICATION

Name: Kira Itsuwarino
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Blood Type: A positive
Appearance: https://anhdephd.com/wp-content/uploads ... ep-rai.jpg

Bio: Kira was born during Deku’s rise as the new Symbol of Peace, and at one time admired him. Kira saw the hero’s strength, his will to save others, and was amazed at how one man could have so much power. However, he did not wish to gain a quirk and to become a hero, as he saw much... better uses for a quirk. Uses that would help young Kira benefit and gain things that he wanted out of life. Money, power, even as a child, Kira sought these things.. And oh how reality came crashing down when he developed his quirk. At first, his quirk was a torturous one, constantly intaking new information he never wanted simply by looking at a person. But as he aged, he grew used to the quirk, and began seeing the infinite amount of ways he could use it to personal benefit. He exploited people’s character flaws to manipulate them, steal from them, and ruin them. He went to U.A. (Hero Class), and graduated at the top, as his quirk allowed him to out wit others in combat, and used it to practically read his teachers for the answers to the test, acing his classes when it came to academics. He became a pro hero, but never really took to it, and instead became a full time teacher at U.A. All the while, he used this position to draw attention away from his more...nefarious acts. As a teacher and former hero, he was far less likely to be suspected as a villain and so he could still use his quirk for self benefit via more illegal means.

Occupation: Villain/U.A. Teacher (Management Department)

Quirk Name: Eye of the Beholder

Quirk Description: If Kira looks directly into someone’s eyes, he can divine every aspect of a person. Their name, their age, their quirk, their personality, their every strength and weakness, an he can even gaze into the past of those he looks upon. After he has looked at someone, he can also sense their presence if they are within a one meter radius of him. Eye of the Beholder also seemingly causes one to have an eidetic memory, as he can recall all the information he has ever gained from his quirk. However, a strange downside to this quirk is that people can feel when he uses his quirk on them. They get a shiver up their spine, like they’re being watched. Another “tell” for when he uses his quirk is that his eyes will glow yellow when the quirk activates.

Alright. If you create a Villain, maybe Jasmine and your character can team up. I think it may be pretty interesting. I believe Jasmine's mind control quirk would go well with a recon oriented quirk (such as Search)

Works for me! I will bear that in mind.

Quirk seems a bit OP and I doubt UA would fall for his deceit, considering the ultra-intelligent principal.

I made a few updates, though I’d still rather try and keep him as a teacher. He’s not really a villain as of the RP starting, more like a behind the scenes drug lord/gang leader. He deals drug from behind the scenes, and has maybe 20-25 henchmen working under him, none of whom actually know his identity or have seen his face.

His quirk is like a way to get around the metagaming rule. What I propose is he can retain the knowledge at most 10 minutes but afterwards, it completely vanishes from his mind, along with the down-sides you listed.

That might be slightly conducive to roleplaying... ;)

On a more serious note, I just figured you'd be handling Hero and Villain NPCs as needed.

Yeah, I'll be handling those kind of characters. If I appoint a Co-OP they'll be doing that too.

For the time being though, I'll be playing Team Fortress 2. I'll think of a character concept during that time.

Gambit I mean Arlo Barotovi is unmatched in skill right now. I fully expect him to be one of the top Pro Heroes, no lower than top 3.

That name also got rejected. It's hinted at in material by the author (or was it the artist?) that his hero name may eventually be Ground Zero.

Looking to get back into RPing after an impromptu break for personal reasons. Dishing out some part time teachers, part time detectives [Not heroes mind you] and a student. I know await the OP's judgement

MHA NEXT GEN APPLICATION

Name: Rowen "R" Rainier
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Blood Type: O-
Appearance: Something like this

Bio: I'm afraid that most of my life simply is not that interesting. I was born in a simply house to simply parents, with no simblings to speak of. My parent were also without Quirks, which made me an odd one out, though it was nessicarily something I realized at first. As to not bore you with the details of my early life, I suppose I'll talk to you about my fated encounter later in life after learning of my Quirk. I can already see Fletch messing up his morning tea after feeling my use that phrase. I don't understand how a man can not believe in neither coincidences or fate at the same time. Anyways, I discovered my Quirk by accident when I was around sixteen, not long before I had met another interesting boy named Koen, who managed to save my ass from a couple of less than charming fellows on the way back from school. I had wondered where he had come from, and upon taking his hand to be lifted from the dirt, I found myself witnessing a scene of my friend jumping a fence to come rescue me, having apparently seen me as he rode by on his bike. This would also be the last time I would see Koen for sometime...

Anyways, the rest of my high school life was uneventful as I went about my business honing my ability, watching over a young girl that had been left behind for me, and generally learning the basics I would need for my future occupation. Graduating from high school I attended a small town college for a few years, gathering what I would need to open a business of my own. At age of Twenty, having finally graduated from College, and opened a business of my own; a detective agency. Part of me wanted to find an actual use for ability, part of me wanted to use it as an excuse to look for Koen, even more for Lyn than myself, but mostly I was bored if I had to think about it. So for three years or so I operated this small station, occassionally working for the nearby "Gifted Academy" when they required my help, and occassionally teaching classes. That was until the day a somewhat ragged looking man appeared on the doorstep of my office, claiming he needed help finding someone. Me to be exact. At first I laughed it off as a joke, but upon close inspection, I was suprised to see my old friend standing infront of me, a great deal older than the last time I saw him. I don't mean to sound light hearted about it, but I still can barely believe it a year later. He came home looking for his sister and a job, both of which I helped him find. Nowadays, I spend most of my time catching up on days gone by, instructing the kids at the academy, and solving the occassional mystery that finds it's way to me, often from the police, but others as well...

Occupation: Most days I work as a Detective, but occasionally I fill in at UA, often at the request of an old friend and some teachers I've met. Though most days I'm solving puzzles either way

Quirk Name: If it were necessary to call my "Quirk" anything, I think I'd have to settle on "Spectator" At the very least it's how Lyn always described it when she was younger

Quirk Description: Well, more or less my "Quirk" gives me the ability to catch glimpses into the past of a particular area, thing or person, simply by being in the general area, though in the case of the latter two, the speed at which I can accomplish this is greatly accelerated if I am touching it/them. Glimpsing into the past I get, well, the best way I can describe it is like watching a holograms of events transpire in front of my eyes. Though, I will say this process can take time, especially if I have to look far back into the past, though I can often gather the happenings of a few minutes or hour prior with a few seconds or so.

MHA NEXT GEN APPLICATION

Name: Koen "Fletch/Finn" Fletcher
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Blood Type: AB
Appearance: Here

Bio: I don't know what exactly you want to hear from me, or why you request such information of me. I grew up in a simple house, devoid of quirks, as my parents were without them, and no siblings to speak of, at least in my early life, though I would later gain a sister down the road, but not for another seven years after my own birth. My early life was simple, I grew up on the outskirts of town, far from any other kids, and largely spent a majority of my time messing around in the woods around my house, fishing, hiking, and the like. Sometimes reading as well. My parents both worked long hours, so most of my early years were spent alone. Guess I grew up quickly or something like that, not that I had much of a choice. When I was about seven or so, my parents brought home a younger sister for me. I don't remember much of her when she was younger, but I do remember the golden locks of hair she had when she actually started growing in hair. For the next ten years or so, I more or less raised her by myself as well as balancing a few odd jobs here and there within the city. It was about this time I ran into a strange guy about my age, perhaps a year younger. He was a solid guy, perhaps a bit too energetic for my liking, but I learned to trust him soon enough and we became friends I suppose.

Then something changed around my seventeenth birthday. I got a strange feeling in my gut that I had to leave, to go somewhere. Where exactly, I don't know, but it was this strong feeling. My sister, Evelyn, or Lyn as R, my friend, and I would call her, was about ten at this time, and with the death of our father a few years back, our mother was around a bit more, but still barely. Thus, I decided to seek out my friend, Rowen, R as we called him, as I couldn't shake the feeling that I had to go somewhere. Looking back on it, I suppose you could say this was my first experience of my "Quirk" but I had been told by R for a while I had a strong "gut" when it came to stuff like this. I ran into him by chance getting the crap beaten out of him on a side road, and stepped in to drive the guys kicking him off. I explained to him I was going to be busy and if he could look after Lyn for a while after classes were over. He seemed a bit confused, but accepted. After that, I simply drifted off into the world. I traveled around for a while; spent some time in the Mercenary and hired gun business, working "contracts" of a similar nature, taking me around the world and occasionally running into other Quirk users I was forced to deal with. Eventually, after seven or so years of this life, I suppose I must have found the Somewhere I needed to go, for a strong urge overtook me to return home, that I was needed there for some reason. I was unaware at the time that our mother had passed away too, my sister preparing for her entrance exams into UA, apparently she too had a Quirk of her own, unknown to me. Eventually I would find my way back to my old friend, R, now an armed private detective for a city where UA was located. He seemed surprised at first to see me, but I could tell he was happy, even without my "Quirk." As you might have guessed, my sister was even more ecstatic at my return. She was always a bit shy, but never around myself or R, where it seemed she cut loose a bit. Soon enough I found myself working at both R's Investigation Agency, R&F, apparently named at Lyn's request and the somewhat famous UA school.

Occupation: There was a point when I was labeled as a Villain, and likely still am by some, but currently I'm a Teacher and Part-Time Detective

Quirk Name: "Call it a Hunch" for lack of a more creative title is the name I've been pegged with, all thanks to her...

Quirk Description: Call it a Hunch, isn't exactly what I would call a "Quirk" but yet again, for lack of a better term we find ourselves here. In essence, I can best describe it as advanced foresight into a myriad of things, that often resonate in an unexplained "gut" like feeling. I just...Know. Anything from being able to feel when someone's lying, to a "Danger Sense" ability where, in R's own words, "Can see the attacks before they happen" or something along those lines, or a type of "Combat Clairvoyance" as I've been told by some old friends...Sometimes it can be vague, such as feeling something bad might happen or the weather is changing, to more specific things like my "Danger Sense" or the right path to follow in the woods. Long story short, you probably shouldn't try to lie or sneak up on me.

#MHA2018 (DO NOT REMOVE)

MHA NEXT GEN APPLICATION

Name: Evelyn "Eve/Lyn" Fletcher
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Hetero
Blood Type: AB
Appearance: Here

Bio: I was born into a small family, both parents being Quirk-less and an older Brother who did posses a Quirk, though I wouldn't learn this for sometime. Most of my early life was spent around my brother, who was eight years older than me, and largely took care of me as a grew up, our parents both worked quite often and were rarely home except for early in the morning and late at night. My childhood was somewhat lonely, my Brother being my only friend, so I suppose you can say I grew up quite quietly and followed my brother around everywhere. As I got older I also joined him and his seemingly only friend, a boy named Rowen who my brother seemed to refer to as R, he in turn used my brother's nickname for me "Lyn" when I would go with them. Eventually though, sometime after our father had died in a superhero related accident, my brother left home, seventeen at the time, to an unknown destitation, leaving me in the care of R and my mother on the rare occurrence she was home. It was a tough blow, but having R around helped me through it, and I eventually grew to learn of a Quirk of my own, having discovered it by accident while wishing for a light during a particularly bad storm. Somehow or another the light around me, even in the dim conditions of the moon's light, the room suddenly came alive with a bright light all around me, surprising me to the point I nearly fell off my bed. It was about then I learned of my ability to control light, though the specifics wouldn't be revealed to me until a few years later upon attempting to channel my ability more, with some help from R, though he was inexperienced with his own ability. Then, about my fifteenth birthday, I attempted to set out in search of my brother, it being just after the fifth anniversary of his "disappearance." However, before I was given a chance, I was stopped by R who managed to convince me to stay and wait for my brother to return, as he was sure it would happen. As he said, "Koen rarely does something for now reason." Instead he convinced me to apply to UA, as did my mother, and I was accepted at the age of fifteen. I quickly grew accustom to the new environment, though I shied away from many of my other classmates for the most part, during my first year. Though things changed my second year, when out of the blue my Brother appeared back to us, having traveled to countless places across the world, though he never went into much detail about it, I didn't care much. Even better he was to be a teacher at UA, meaning I could see him almost everyday, as well as Uncle R. I always knew it was a good idea to name the Agency Rainier and Fletcher...

Occupation: Right now I'm a student, but I tell you, one day I'll be working at R&F with my brother and Uncle R

Quirk Name: It's a bit embarrassing, but when I was younger my brother once said my hair looked like threads of sunlight, and since I've always liked that, I've named my Quirk after it; "Threading the Sun"

Quirk Description: At my most basic level, my quirk allows me to have complete control over and to manipulate all forms of light around me, say out to about thirty meters, but if I really tried I'm sure I could reach up to fifty. Any light found within this sphere is at my beck and call. I can absorb it, amplify it, and sometimes even "pocket" it so to speak for short times, among other abilities. I'm beginning to learn to use it for both defense and offense, though it requires some creativity on my part, not that that is a problem...However, I cannot generate new light. I can only manipulate existing light, which means pitch blackness is not fun for me, nor is someone immune to energy based attacks...

Deku is definitely the top hero. Todoroki has an argument for #2, but I believe Sparky Sparky Boom Man and Arlo have really similar quirks. But I'll give Bakugo the benefit of the doubt and say he edges out Arlo for the top 3. Arlo is still in top 5, right?

Deku is definitely the top hero. Todoroki has an argument for #2, but I believe Sparky Sparky Boom Man and Arlo have really similar quirks. But I'll give Bakugo the benefit of the doubt and say he edges out Arlo for the top 3. Arlo is still in top 5, right?

First off, love the reference.

Second, that or Combustion Man is now a tempting Villain name...

Aoi could definitely stand to have a partner in crime. Er... heroism?

Sounds good, perhaps the two went to the same Junior High, or a program for kids with Quirks? Due to the subtle nature of his Quirk, his Trancewalk ability wasn't discovered until late elementary-early middle-school.

Which begs the question, in lore, when is the median age for people with Quirk, and why isn't there a Xavier Elementary School for Tenacious Toddlers?

That sounds like a lot of paper work if you ask me.

I wasn't exactly sure either, but two of my characters had somewhat subtle abilities, so I made them appear a little later in life [Sixteen and Seventeen respectively]

I'm glad I gave you some ideas. Sparky Sparky Boom Man or Combustion Man would be nice names tbh

Huh. So Cyrene was a late bloomer.

I guess it could be chocked up to the fact that his Quirk looks like highly functional sleepwalking, rather than an out and out Quirk. It wouldn't be until he already was living life as a normal person that he would be discovered to have this Quirk. Only his uncle (who happens to be a Buddhist Priest/equivalent of a retired Army Chaplain) would suspect that Ayumu had a Quirk.

Anyone else want to be pals, besides Aoi?

I'd say JH, but that would mean they wouldn't be in the same test... Maybe they shared a favorite haunt and got to be friends that way??

Mutual friend of a friend? He's into soccer, video games, and martial arts. Perhaps the two went to the same dojo then became pals? I would imagine due to his tenacious trance-like ability, he would be Aoi's favorite punching dummy when she figures out her four forms of ultimate deathening.

Oh heck yes. And either dojo or arcade, since I could see Aoi being into both.
