All of those sound good, especially the Copper Ravens which in all honesty is a cool name all-round. Besides, I might make a bandit character (whether it be a leader or just some random foot soldier) or something like that if Pax is alright with it, probably as an NPC or something.

Also, Flarbinia, I might have Brayden radio Connor if that's OK with you and if no one else has dibs. And if Connor actually has a radio in his car.

It's okay to radio Connor. As for the two way radio in his Ford F-150, there is a small one, but he hasn't checked the glove box yet.

Fine with me. RL cropped up this weekend, so I wasn't around.

Alright, then. Both sound good. I'll just try and get this RP up for an NS Sports competition I'm in (unless I miss the cut-off, which'll be around tomorrow evening my time) and then I'll get to work on a "Brayden messages Connor" post. Once that's up I'll get to work on an app for my bandit bloke.

10-4, bud.

P.S. I've nearly finished my cricket RP (which'll be the first and probably last one I'll do) and once that's up, I'll get to work on my Karl/Brayden post, as promised.

And it is done, with about 40 minutes to spare before cut-off. So once I've had my dinner I'll get to work on my post.

I will post today, if all goes well. The information in my post will probably be more reactionary than anything, unfortunately.
I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

Support: Paleo-imperialism, conservatism, libertarianism, Christianity.
Against: Stupid people, resistance to industrial progress, alt-right, any form of government at or beyond socialism.

I hail from The League of Conservative Nations. Hearts unthawed, hearts unshaken!

Last RP fell through, so why not?

NAME: Marcus (AKA Magpie, only his 'old friends' call him that) Finch

SEX: Male

AGE: 36

DESCRIPTION: "Smile for" tattooed on left hand "The Birdy" Right hand, 3 old gunshot wound scars (2 in the gut, 1 in left arm), "Sons of 6" and a revolver cylinder tattooed across small of his back, Stout and muscular. Black hair and hazel eyed

SKILLS/WEAKNESSES:
Survival/Bushcraft Marcus had a respect for survivalists and preppers, while never getting into it much himself he was known to dabble in studies on living off the land in his spare time...just in case

Smuggling Marcus has made much of his entire adult livelihood moving illegal goods from X to Z, as such he has a bit of a knack for picking out conmen or those slightly crooked than others in need of something moved from one place to another

Crack shot Marcus may not be able to shoot the wings off a fly, but he isn't far from it. Years of deals gone bad in smuggling work and working with the Sons of 6 have made him a rather exceptional shot.

Eagle Eyed Anyone in illegal lines of work worth their weight in salt is expected to spot trouble when it's on the horizon at the very least, and years of working with raider groups like the Sons of 6 and anyone they paired up with to take on scores has made Marcus alert to ambushes and traps.

Paranoid "Its not REALLY paranoia if they actually ARE out to get me though, is it?"

Pissed off the Sons of 6 The Sons of 6 raider Group are less than impressed by Marcus' betrayal and murder of their number and may come looking for him.

Lonewolf Years of working solo had made Magpie less inclined to trust others, let alone trust them with his past or secrets.

REASON/ROLE IN CONVOY: Escape/Security/Recon, Looking to put as many miles between him and the raiding group he just murdered a dozen members of, although just tells his fellow convoy passengers hes looking for "Better sights", omitting that it's for better sight picture of anyone hes double-crossed.

GEAR/BELONGINGS:
M47 Medusa (TL;DR for video: Revolver, not a commercial success, can chamber and safely shoot around 25 pistol calibers although they aren't very accurate w/ most beyond .38 and .357 or similarly sized cartridges) His 1st prize possession whilst working with the Sons of 6

Ruger 77/357 (5+1 shot .357 mag bolt action rifle)

Mish-mash of collected ammunition from 'work' (Predominantly .357 Magnum, .38 S&W and 9mm parabellum)

Rucksack, contains or carries all his other worldly necessities: 5 day's food and water (Canned food-stuffs mostly), basic medical necessities (tourniquets; bandages; several bottles hard liquor for disinfecting and consumption as mild painkiller) Several bags of Zip-ties (heavy duty, for detaining people or securing wares)

3 changes of clothes

Water purification tablets and solutions

Collapsible Spyglass

3 tightly sealed black bags concealed somewhere on White Lightning, contents unknown

BIOGRAPHY: Marcus has spent most of his life outside the law to some degree or another. An experienced smuggler, he built quite a reputation in the black market for discretely moving everything from illegally harvested organs and untaxed goods to guns and narcotics among a wide variety of other less-than-legal varieties. The carefully built networks of trusted liaisons and contacts he'd built up over his adult life came to a screeching halt with the outbreak years back as everything turned sideways.

With most of his life's work in shambles Marcus turned to working with a raiding group known as the "Sons of 6", a network of raiding parties most known for their signature use of revolver-styled firearms to help re-establish new networks to bring a semblance of structure back to his work in smuggling. Things started to look up as he once again began moving cargo lifted from convoys the Sons of 6 stole to black or grey market groups across America. This came to an abrupt halt when the Sons of 6 leadership saw a radical change, with it's new bosses stealing Marcus' most prized possessions, his revolver (A collector's item in it's own right) and his Dune buggy "White Lightning", a custom-built vehicle from a friend killed in the outbreak.

Infuriated at the betrayal, Marcus killed a dozen members of the raiding group (along with the boss who stole his prized pistol) and his car and drove off into the metaphorical sunset. Now working with a convoy to move various goods, he's seeking to hide himself among bigger targets to prevent anyone coming for him.

VEHICLE TYPE: Custom-built Dune-buggy, Marcus insists on calling it "White Lightning"

MODEL: N/A, although Fabricated in mid 2030s

FUEL SOURCE: Solar/Electric, Panels fitted along the roof of the 'roll cage' and back of the vehicle over the batteries.

ROLE IN CONVOY: Recon/Security

MODIFICATIONS: Discussed below

IMAGE/DESCRIPTION: Sitting low to the ground, light and fast as possible, Marcus' vehicle remains one of his 2 prized possessions, stolen back from the Sons of 6 raider group. The vehicle was recently repurposed for short-to-mid range reconnaissance for Sons of 6 raiding parties. Despite this, it began it's life as a light-weight smuggling vehicle for moving narcotics and weapons between black market groups across America, allowing self-sufficiency in it's obvious stowage compartments along the sides of the driver's position (Which function as a light armor plating) for food/water and survival necessities while still offering plenty of hidden compartments across it's body. Marcus had the vehicle custom built for him by his late (and only) friend Jorgensen "Georgie" Reid, a chop-shop owner said to be a savant in constructing light-weight vehicles for black market purposes.

Edit Log: Changes in grammar and spacing, Elaboration on Sons of 6, clarification on M47

GEAR/BELONGINGS: Luger. Poncho. Gas mask
BIOGRAPHY: One of the few IRS agents to survive the pandemic, Stan Festus joined the fledgling Office of Counterfeit Investigation due to the need for experienced agents. The information he gathered during his first five months allowed the OCI to shut down the Mob's counterfeiting operations. His superiors, pleased with his success, transferred him to the Undercover Division, his new partner, an important case: capturing Marcus Finch, a former smuggler who had information on the Sons of 6 and believed to be a part of the supply convoy heading to Portland. After being given a gas mask, a poncho, a Luger, and a Ford Explorer, he joined the convoy under an assumed name.
