British soldiers and armor begin pushing hard into the city of Cologne, taking strong positions in major buildings

As they advance upon the Reich Building, they are meet by a hailstorm of Machine guns, mortars, and rifle fire, forcing them into a 300 yard retreat until armor shows up. 2 hours later, an armored assault is made on the building, and soldiers rush inside to seize they building, they take the lightly defended 1st floor quickly, but meet resistance on the 2nd and 3rd. 5 hours of hard fighting see the British flag flying over Cologne. The war is now all but over.

MacArthur walked along a dull grey hallway that was decorated with URAP banners. The negotiations in Zurich were....less than successful to say the least. But he knew he was right. He knew that the Communists would eventually destroy everything, and he wasn't about to let that happen. Of course, the fact was that he knew it was a bit obvious to just load Nazi Officials and officers onto cargo ships and planes. Which was why for the more important peoples he decided to use other means.

MacArthur arrived in a room, where he saw several men. Perhaps most prominent among them were the 6 men wearing military uniforms, 3 of them wearing grey uniforms identifying them as members of the Army, and 3 of them wearing navy blue uniforms, identifying them as members of the Navy. As MacArthur walked in, the five men stood to attention. One of the aides walked up to MacArthur. "Mr President, may I introduce you to Generalmajor Erwin Rommel, Generalleutenants Erich von Manstein and Heinz Guderian, Admirals Karl Dönitz and Wilhelm Canaris, and finally Großadmiral Erich Raeder," The aide finished.

"Gentlemen, it's a pleasure to meet you, especially you General Guderian, your books on motorized warfare are very impressive indeed," MacArthur said. "Thank you, Herr Präsidant MacArzhur, it vill be a pleasure vorking viz you," Guderian replied in broken English. MacArthur smiled. Unlike their usage of public aircraft and ships, he had used much.....deeper strategies. 230 meters below Sea-Level Deeper to be exact. It was lucky that U-Boats were still very hard to find, it was just a matter of picking them up in the middle of the night on some beach in the middle of nowhere.

"Now, who are the rest of these fine gentlemen?" MacArthur asked. Luckily it had been much easier to transport the non-military and governmental personal since the British didn't mind about them. "Glad you asked Mr President, these two gentlemen over here are Werner Heisenberg and Werner Von Braun," The aide said, before continuing to rattle on, mentioning lead designers from Porsche, Messerschmitt, Junker, Henschel & Sons, Mauser, Focke-Wulf and Heinkel, as well as several more minor commanders from the German Military hidden and disguised on ships and planes or on U-Boats like Michael Wittmann and Erich Hartmann.

"Gentlemen, I would like to welcome you into our new fold and into our new crusade, a crusade against Communism, which your previous well-meaning yet corrupted government had attempted to launch," MacArthur said, "Though I was never a fan of Adolf Hitler's Anti-Semitic and Racial Rhetoric, he did say one meaningful thing: that one day the Communists will rise and destroy Germany, and then sweep across Europe. Well, what has just happened? Germany's been destroyed by Communists. I know the loss of your homeland and the serving of your new home may seem odd, but we all are united under one banner: we will continue the Crusade against Communism, and we will fight to the bitter end to liberate Europe from the Red Menace,"

"Each and every one of you had been specifically selected from the ranks of the former Reich to serve a greater purpose," MacArthur continued, "You will be the hidden cogs in the vast machine that will help us continue against the Communist Threat, and you are all vital in your respective roles,"

"Rest assured, your families have been safely located in temporary homes far from the common eye, and your new identities will be passed out to you, but for now, let's talk business....."

German Battleships Surrender off US Coast!

Just this morning, two massive warships were spotted off the coast of New York. Both were flying the naval ensign of the Kriegsmarine: the Naval Force of the German "Third Reich," which had capitulated recently. The ships, flying the white flag, allowed for the cruisers USS Milwaukee and USS Omaha to board them, where civilians watching on the coast noting the size differentiation between the US and German vessels to be vast. After approximately 5 minutes, the crews of the aforementioned cruisers boarded back onto their respective vessels and escorted the two German Warships into port. The two warships were later identified as the Kriegsmarine Vessels Bismarck and Tirpitz two vessels that, according to their commander Vice Admiral Günther Lütjens, had not yet been commissioned, but upon hearing of Germany's imminent defeat, commandeered the warships and escaped Germany, avoiding the British Blockade, and seeking refuge in the URAP.

The Government has so far been silent, but reports say that the Kriegsmarine sailors are being treated cordially.

A socialist revolution broke out in the area, led by what is being called the "Northwestern People's Association" (NPA), who demand the creation of a socialist republic that controls much of the Northwestern Territories. The group condemned the Federal Republic of Canada for siding with the United Republic of the American Patriots. The NPA members referred to Owen Hudson as a "puppet of American fascism". The NPA demand that it's demands be met or else threatens with uprising against the federal government. In response, both the Canadian Federal Forces and the Canadian Federal Mounted Police (CFMP) agreed to crack down on the toxic uprising, resulting in the NPA fighting back, ultimately calling for a socialist uprising against Canada. The NPA is seemingly aligned with the USSR, as some government officials claim. However, that claim has not been verified yet.

Most Canadian nationalists didn't sympathize with Hitler and his policies. They were conservative, anti-socialist, religious and less militant. Among these was a major party in Canadian politics. It's name was the Canadian National Party (CNP) and it was nationalist, conservative, social conservative, national conservative, protectionist, anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-Nazi, anti-Quebecois and anti-communist. It's leader, Jonathan Phillips, has called for a new government following his policies and dealing better with the communistic NPA. He accuses the USSR of both supporting the NPA and orchestrating the Northwestern Uprising. He called for all Canadians to not just stand up to the NPA, but also stand up to the USSR, the Republic of Quebec and the United Republic of the American Patriots. He called for an end to both American imperialism and communist revolution in the Federal Republic of Canada. Meanwhile, Owen Hudson is not sure what is going to happen next in the Northwestern Uprising.

The 2nd battalion, 3rd infantry division, IV corps, was on the left flank when the came across a German armored assault assisted by AT guns that was meant for the French, but they received instead. Enemy armor breaks through on the left side but the other sides are repulsed, albeit with heavy British casualties, numbering about 1000 wounded and killed. The German Armor continues on towards the French advance, but not before the British could get word the French commander about the German tanks.

The flight takes about 7 hours, at one point, they landed on the HMS Gregarious for refuel before flying the rest of the way.

In the prior weeks, the government of New Holland authorized another 80,000 German Jews into the country as refugees as a result of not only the antisemitic policies of the German government but now the widespread destruction brought by ongoing warfare. Thousands had been admitted across the country over the past few days, though the most substantial new refugee housing zone was in Sint Luise, in the Parnaiba province.

The Isolationist Caucus, a multipartisan caucus comprising 16 National Party members, 3 Democrats, 2 Fascist League legislators, and a single member of the Socialist Party, argued that German spies might infiltrate the nation, or politicians and war criminals may flee justice, by claiming to be Jewish. As usual, though, the refugees' induction received widespread support from the NLP, National Party, Agrarian Conservatives, and Democrats.

Some of these refugees opted to join the armed forces, either signing aboard with the Heerschaar (Army), Strijdmarine (Navy), or Luchtmacht (Air Force), all of which would grant them citizenship for their service. In the latest instance of the military continually taking advantage of technological progress, the Luchtmacht has tested it's first liquid fuel rocket aircraft, though it remained in the experimental/prototype phase.

Not all were pleased with the decision though, and the Fascist League has organized a protest against the decision. Some few hundred nazi sympathizers, anti-semites, white supremacists, and miscellaneous co-conspirators showed up in force in Sint Luise to protest not only the acceptance of Jewish refugees, but the continued tolerance of the Mestizo, Pardo, Black, Indigenous, and particularly Jewish populations by the white majority, as well as the discontinuation of segregation.

The rally's organizer, Gerolt Schorel, had been a noted white nationalist figure and advocate of segregation for many years, and some figures in regionalist politics used the rally as leverage to advocate breaking away from New Holland's central government. Ironically, the rally symbolized a need to secede from the federal government both for white nationalists who believed it was an empowering symbol of the white race that could segregate itself from the non-aryans of the country, and other nationalists who believed the rally further justified their desire to break away from the government of New Holland so as not to let the Fascists exert any influence on them.

President Matelief brought one bony hand down across his face in a single fluid motion as he wiped his raddled face and distinctively jutting and angular jaw, now afflicted with old age in addition to lifelong underbite, followed by an audible growl in a definitive gesture of irritation. Matelief peered down at the documents cataloging this most recent act of rabble rousing, and an attached black-and-white photograph of Schorel's malicious smirk, and the president angrily brought down his wiry limbs onto his desk, sending it into a thunderous tremor.

"Those god-damned traitors," president Matelief started off, putting particular emphasis on the "damned" as he rambled to a close association of his loyal allies in the government and military, "they are undermining the security and continued existence of our nation. If racial conflict escalates to the point of nationalist movements attempting to form breakaway states, then our nation will have a glaring weakspot that these imperialist empires in Europe will immediately strike."

"To reiterate, what is at stake here, is our very existence as a unified nation. The Fascist League and it's supporters must be systematically derailed, and as for this rally in particular, well, I believe I may have already dealt with the probl-"
The president was interrupted as the door flew wide open, and a figure stumbled in clad in WW1-era body armor and an identity-masking
close helmet, both coated in a brilliantly reflective chrome, reaching out onto nearby walls and fixtures to support himself as he clattered forth like a drunkard.
"Sir Arendsen!" the president greeted the man, reassuring some of the president's cabal who had mistaken him for an intruder "have you caught that bastard Schorel? Have you slain him?!"
Sir Arendsen lifted the ventail of his helm to speak, but was stopped by a violent coughing fit which sent spatters of blood into the president's crowd of close associates. Arendsen went limp and fell forward, crashing and battering the president's desk with his metal headgear. The room was filled with varying degrees of silent, stunned confusion until a quiet radio news broadcast, now unhindered by the room's talking, shed light on the situation:
"Some commotion has occurred in the rally today," the radio announcer said, as president Matelief turned up the volume "an assassin dressed in reflective armor that hid his identity pulled out a revolver and attempted to murder mister Gerolt Schorel, the rally's organizer, in broad daylight! It seems Schorel's training as a marine served him well as he was able to take cover and return fire on his attacker, aided by his personal security. In the commotion, the attacker was able to escape, and mister Schorel's personal medics are looking after him now. The polic-"
The president shut the radio off.


"Well, ladies and gentlemen, as I assume you could gather, I sent our loyal Sir Arendsen there to assassinate that bastard Schorel," the president said solemnly, referring to the armor-clad warrior who's corpse had already been lifted to the medical station. "Unfortunately, it seems our enemy is both capable and lucky, and the .357 Magnum seems not to have hit an important enough organ to put him down. Rest assured that Sir Arendsen shall be avenged soon enough, but the Fascist League can survive without Schorel, and that's why you've been assembled here; I am counting on you to do your part in our nation-wide covert obliteration of the Fascist League and their allies."

After further plans had been settled, medics "convinced" not to reveal the identity of the assassin, a cover story for Sir Arendsen's death woven, and the bloody evidence properly cleaned or destroyed, president Matelief had to turn his attention, at least temporarily, to foreign affairs, due to the insistence of the scientific agencies:

The Iberian Empire sends volunteer forces to Canada to aid against the Northwestern Uprising.

The defensive alliance between England, the URAP and Iberia will be known as the PMM, standing for Protetorado Mútuo Mundial (Portuguese for Worldwide Mutual Protectorate).

Conditions:
1. If any member is in a defensive war of any sort, the other members will have to join them.
2. All members will have the option, but are not forced to by any means, of joining an ally in an offensive war, but this is highly discouraged due to the alliance being created for helping peace.
3. If any country in the alliance has a non-aggression pact with another country, the other countries will be encouraged to create a non-aggression pact with said other country. This is not forced, however.

Examples:
1. If France attacks England's German provinces, Iberia and the URAP will be called into the war on England's side.
2. If the URAP attacks Venezuela, England and Iberia have the option of joining them, but are encouraged not to.
3. Iberia has a non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union, and England and the URAP will be encouraged by the alliance to also create a non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union. However, they will not be forced to, and it is highly unlikely the URAP will not create one due to rising tensions.
