Wouldn't necromancy have bigger effects on the land world spirit than the Dao magic?

Certainly. Better smelting means better efficiency converting ore to metal.

True, but I'm guessing that it will be difficult to train and G has some sinister motives behind trading magic or spreading different types.

It would year after next I would think. My priority is for me raising the dead for economic reasons and trade for tech since I need that. Once we do we will have a lot to talk about.
