Like, a six year old, or someone who has hit ten and an actual role? The former almost certainly is doomed. The latter, no trouble at all.

Nuxipal didn't add this to the sheet, but he did send me in the occ when I realized that it there was nothing said on the update post. It was this:

Southwest [plains (river): wheat, fox, cattle]

I think he never got around to adding it.

Since my question wasn't answered

Is it possible to send just a single warrior to hunt predators, because I need my other warrior and leader to stay, and I'm worried that I will get negative RNG that result in my warrior being killed

I mean, RNG can always factor in multiple things. Certainly there will be more liability to being injured or killed, but how big of a difference it makes depends on how dangerous the beast is.

Don't make one dude fight a dragon pretty much is my advice, but if its a lion, perhaps it'd be more likely injured if our chap is a seasoned hunter who knows what hes doing. That being said fighting a lion is pretty bleak hopes though. If said person is injured it pretty much means that depending on the time of his injury ultimately decides how much food, and gives him a debuff. So run a risk vs reward in your head, and determine it yourself.

Wading birds, if memory serves, are just, yknow, wading birds. Like storks, plovers? Stalkers are in the post where they were introduced, but I can't remember offhand. You can look it up as easily as me. Galena is a real thing- an ore of lead and silver.

Sending anyone to hunt predators or dangerous herbivores is always dangerous. More people can be less dangerous, as can good weapons, familiarity with the creatures being hunted, and so on.

@Ted, Game: I'll get those regions added soonish.

I wouldn't exactly call hieroglyphics a writing system, personally. But hey, the odds are good of a child being born healthy.

Ralnis wrote:So did I make a crappy bronze pickaxe?

Ayerp. You have the right materials, but your people haven't really made anything out of metals to any great extent, so it would best be described as "crude".

The GAmeTopians wrote:@G, Zhou Xing is male...

Ah, my bad. I'm not familiar with the gendering of non-Western names extensively.

The mother dying is already a critical failure. Can you think of a way turning one's skin as hard as a tree's bark will prevent death in childbirth? I'll consider rerolling if you can think of a good explanation.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying again.

Novas Arcanum wrote:Would sharpened flint tools be advanced enough to work marble?

Sharp usually =/= tough and therefore better for working with hard material. But I've already been generous with Saxony on that, so sure.

Well you specifically mention that the hearts of the trees around her are open to her, and trees in a tundra are particularly resilient not just in their bark but all throughout, to deal with the low temperatures and extremely short growing season. I could also see this resiliency granting her at least a slightly bolstered rate of recovery, considering the name being "Resiliency" (The dictionary definition is "the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties" :p )

Meh, I'm going off of Wikipedia so don't hang me :p. Besides a hieroglyphic system will make a nice foundation for a Latin-based alphabet.

Also considering my luck I'm still surprised and happy that nobody died.

Yes, yes, but we're not talking about "blood replaced with sap, hair as leaves" being the tree. I mentioned skin like bark specifically so the Dao had an easily comprehensible and concrete effect, instead of being generalized.
