With the Americans advancing in the East, it was time to strike for the Canadian Forces, Operation Nordique was underway as Canadian troops charged into Quebec, followed by Leopard tanks and the CF-18 Hornets above, the hope was to recreate the success that had come from the invasion of Alberta, that had seen rapid movement and was aided by the element of surprise, with the Quebecois troops being split between the overwhelming numbers of the Americans, or the Canadians that would seek encirclement of larger forces to break their will, whether the operation was to be successful was unknown, but either way it would change Nova Canada forever.
P.M. DOUG FORD, TORONTO, ONTARIO, NOVA CANADA
"Thank you all for coming out today, recent news has brought us all to great anger, the Californians have decided to forego human rights, the basic rights endowed to all peoples, to worship freely, to speak freely, to love your neighbour whomever that may be. The Californians have recently enacted the 'Corporate Nationalization Act of 2023' in a fit of blind ignorance, they have turned their backs on the concept of working hard for what you have, and not only that, folks, he has decided to not only take away tax exemptions for religious institutions but to murder those that fail to pay taxes, or throw them arbitrarily into their Quantico Jail, California is a land without decency. A land that shows time and time again their horrendous choices in their failed strategy. Their leader, Frank Louston, is a guilty man, guilty of many things, from crimes against humanity to other war crimes, him restating the death penalty in California is a disgusting abuse of his power, and then holding war games outside of the National Defence Barricade. I can only say one thing to the Californians, the future is not yours." P.M. Ford takes a sip of water and continues.
"To those that suffer in California, are forced to breath their oppressive air, who suffer death for simply worshipping the Lord, Nova Canada extends her arms and invites you into her warm embrace, if you wish to know freedom, we invite you to Nova Canada, where no man is threatened for his choice of faith, where you may choose to not believe in anything, instead of being forced to worship aliens, it is our duty to help Californians suffering from the government of Frank Louston, if you come to Nova Canada, know that there is honest work here, there is space to build and grow your community here."
"Another topic would be the Americans, my office would like to personally congratulate President-Elect Conner Monroe for his win in the election, we would also like to thank President James Mattis for his service as the President of the Republic of America, some things that we have managed in our conversations with the Republic have been our greater Economic and Defence Pact, that has greatly improved the economy of the Dominion, by reopening the markets of the Republic to Nova Canada, and likewise trade coming in from the Republic have reduced prices for average Canadians." To this, a thunderous roar of applause occurred. "Thank you, we have found that working with our American allies is the best move forward, and we will more than happily continue our relationship with the Republic and Former Secretary of State Nathaniel Forest who has been rightfully chosen as the Father of our renewed brotherhood. Canada has always been on the cutting edge of technology, which is why we have chosen to work with the American universities in improving technologies for everyone."
"The Conservative Party's commitment to jobs is stronger than ever, with five billion dollars being invested into the economies of the Northern Territories, our Official 2023 Plan will seek to improve quality of life in the Northern Territories and reduce the rampant unemployment in Nunavut, through the Northern Passage, we are planning on massive projects and educational opportunities for First Nation youths and adults, if you want a job, we will find you one, no man or woman needs to suffer the stress of unemployment, through CanAction 2023 we will see Nova Canada invest more into the mineral deposits and natural gas of the Territories, reinvesting capital into the Territories to greater grow their economies!"
"God bless you, and God bless Nova Canada!" With that the Prime Minister stepped off the stage, to go enjoy his Canada day celebrations with his family.
Ambassador Waschuk walked behind the man, taking his time as he looked around the opulent and alluring hallway, it was clear to him that the Eastern Europeans spared no expense in paying for the renovations of Kiev, it made in a much more modern city, he just hoped that they still knew how to make a good cup of coffee in Eastern Europe, finally upon entering the meeting room he found that it too, had been given special care as he carefully set his briefcase down on the table, mouthing to himself the combination and opening it. He smiled when the man spoke to him and said, "Thank you, I was hoping to get a coffee, when you have a moment." He turned to his briefcase and pulled out several documents, one was on economic relations between Nova Canada and EEF, another was on California, and the last was on scientific partnerships, the Canadian government was initially rather concerned over the meeting, seeing as the EEF had strong relations with California, but Ambassador Waschuk felt that a lot could be accomplished today.

Hello/Bonjour,
It has come to our intention that the time for inaction has passed. California has shown itself to be a rogue state, undeserving of diplomatic respect, and with recent laws, it comes to our attention that the only way to solve the issue may be through our collective might. The mad bear needs to be put down. The suffering it has placed on the citizens of their occupied lands is too great to ignore, its mere existence threatens international peace. We therefore humbly request that you send a delegation to Toronto to discuss what we are to do about the California problem, as their transgressions cannot be forgiven, and with thought that California may have weapons of mass destruction in their arsenal, it is a price that we must be willing to pay to rest easy at night knowing that we have liberated millions.
