Date: Summer, 2068.
Place: Lexington, the former Kentucky

History: The unrest brought about in the 2030's of the United States proved too much to bear. With factions throughout the country vying for power from the top of the government down to the lowest level of municipal service, tensions had been rising. But everything came to a head when then-President Sawyer declared martial law over the whole country - and various high ranking officials in the armed forces rebelled, refusing to obey and commanding those branches under them directions that served their own agendas. The country went into its second civil war. Atom bombs were dropped in various places and cities. The threat of nuclear war lingered in the air (though fortunately, did not occur) In this second American civil war, however, no one side proved victorious and no one person could re-unite the fragmented states afterwards.

During the 2040's, much of the combat died down, though some still remained. Certain states began to band together in their own regional territories. Attempts at new forms of government tried and failed. Much of this decade is remembered for the lawlessness of anarchy, and the challenges to pull out of this no-man's wasteland. This is the decade that saw the general populace become armed as a matter of self-protection.

Some political stability was gained in the 2050's and early 2060's. Certain regions fared better than others. As always, those who were the wealthiest tended to come out on top. The former states each took their own political shape, some resembling the former U.S.A. they had come from, others much different. And trade from the various new nation states began again.

But even a well-armed, cynical and distrustful population needs some kind of entertainment. And with the proliferation of weapons, a new form of entertainment came into being. It was thrilling. Destructive. And very appealing, both to the general population as well as to the financial backers that sponsored it. The new sport was called: Autoduel. It was based on a simple concept. Put weapons on vehicles, and then have them compete against each other in an arena. And whether it's by one team dying or simply their vehicle being taken out of commission, either way. Last one still driving wins. The population took to it like moths to a flame. Something about this barbaric idea took on a life of its own. And the financial backers saw golden opportunities. Each match won money - sometimes lots of money. Money to enhance vehicles, buy new weapons, advance in society - you name it, money could buy it.

Lexington, in the former state of Kentucky, is one of the largest Autoduel centers around. You can get anything here that can be bought. Legalities aren't as big of an issue, though there is a thriving black market for some hard to obtain items. Several arenas around town boast high stakes. Lots of sponsors have tapped into the potential. And lots of Autoduel teams are all eyeing the cash windfall that comes with each success.

It's not road rage. It's just a sport. Welcome to Autoduel.

Hey guys! Welcome to my new RP!

Autoduel is the name of a GURPS game by Steve Jackson games that came out some time ago, but the concept is still just as inventive now as it was then. This RP is based on that game and takes this original concept into P2TM. I hope you find it creative and enjoyable.

There are lots of variations of autoduel matches that take place in 2068 Lexington. From cars of all kinds, to trucks, to semis. Some daredevils even try autodueling weaponized motorcycles. Some matches are simply head to head between two teams. Some matches are more of a free for all with many entries. Some are intended as weaponized races. Some are violent obstacle courses. Regardless, the rules generally stay the same: Be the last one driving, and you win.

While it can be done (and has been done) with a single driver in a weaponized car vs. another single driver, most autoduels feature teams. One person to be the driver, the other person to be the gunner. That way, the driver can focus on the complications of driving (whether it's trying to race, dodge bullets or ram the other vehicle). Meanwhile, the gunner can focus all the attention on blasting the rival team into a heap of burning chrome. Because of the inherent violence, it's only natural for cars to be armored. And autodueling teams, too, each with their own personal body armor. But even then, fatalities do happen. It's taken in stride. It's all in the nature of the sport.

There are lots of characters you can be. Preferably, this RP intends for some people to be autoduelers and autodueling teams. But, you could play as other characters. A wealthy sponsor, a low-life bookie, a criminal arms dealers, an overwhelmed police officer, a worried family member - all have a vested interest in what happens in the arenas. And one can write about NPC autoduels without having to take part in RPing the combat scenes. It can work either way.

This is an RP about action, and also the combat involved in armored car fights. There is also room here for worldbuilding as to what 2068 looks like, and what kind of tech is out there and available. The overall thrust of this RP is going to be sandbox, with some plot elements put in. But if you want to take the RP into new directions, hey, it's your RP too. Since your hands are also on the wheel, you have a say in steering.

Now some rules.
  1. Don't godmod, metagame, or so on. Standard RP rules.
  2. PG-13 rating. You know what that means. Don't force the moderators to ban you.
  3. Up to three characters only, please.
  4. Post more than one-liners. Go for at least a paragraph.
  5. The tech for this world is mostly what we have now, slightly more advanced. 50 years in the future from our time has seen a good share of advancements, but not as many as there would be if the civil war had never happened. Keep that in mind when making characters.
  6. You can have whatever kind of car or vehicle available. No tanks, however. And no planes or choppers, either.
  7. Cars/vehicles can have any kinds of weapons your character can afford. However, there will be no nukes. You cannot afford a nuke. You probably wouldn't be able to afford a missile, either.
  8. Every team needs a sponsor. The sponsor can be NPC or PC. The sponsor has to be extremely wealthy.
  9. There can be some characters who have bionic implants / prostheses, but I'd prefer no completely robotic / AI characters.
  10. Try to post regularly. And let me know (either here on the OOC page or by TG) if you're going to be gone, and for how long.
  11. At the OP's discretion, inactive characters may die suddenly and violently. If you like your character, then you have to post.
  12. PCs can die. Remember, the general populace may not always have a very thick skin. The actions you take will affect what happens to your character(s).
  13. Be respectful to other players in the OOC page.
  14. The OP has the right to make any more rules, make binding judgments, and if necessary, ban players. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
  15. Have fun. I know I will.

Worldbuilding lore

This post contains what the world of 2068 looks like, that comes from what you, the players (as well as I the OP), have submitted.

The CAR-nege Autoduel Complex, Lexington

Boasting of 30 different tracks, the CAR-nege Autoduel Complex is a high-quality, state of the art Autoduel center outside of Lexington. Originally named the "Carnegey Raceways" after an early 20th century philanthropist, the name was subtly changed in 2042 to fit the growing interest in Autoduel. Each track has its own arena, where up to 15,000 can watch. The fans are protected by layers of the highest quality, durable polycarbonate that stands guard from the autoduels. There are also hundreds of high-end up-scale luxury suites, usually bought up by sponsors and the very wealthy.

Not all of the complex's tracks are used at the same time. At least half (if not more) of the autoduel tracks are purposely kept vacant, so that new autoduels can begin in short times after completed matches. It usually takes some effort to clean up the tracks after a duel, which is why CAR-nege is mindful to rotate.

For Hire: Each track has mechanics for hire, in case Autoduelers wish to acquire their services. They are found in their private booths with access to tools in some of the many underground repair stations. There are also doctors and paras able to be hired for medical emergencies. Like the mechanics, these also have contracts with the 20 different arenas to be kept on retainer for situations where payment cannot be first made. However, for most medical expenses, payment must be made first.

Other people of importance: Officials register participants, and have the authority to deny entry or remove entries. Officials can be spotted by their easily recognizable attire.
Marshalls are on hand to prevent and punish cheaters. Given the fact that Autodueling is a big industry, there are always those who hope to win by dishonest means (e.g., hacking into the engine computers of contestants; putting time bombs on rival cars; and so on). The marshalls are all equipped with stun blasters that double as nerve weapons; EMP emitters; and cybernetic prosthetic arms that have all manner of uses, from video skin to confinement measures. Several of the marshalls work behind the scenes, monitoring computer systems to prevent hackers. The rest roam the arenas vigilantly, again wearing obviously noticeable attire. Video surveillance is everywhere. Cheaters rarely get away with it, even though they always try.

Entering an autoduel match or tournament requires an entry fee, usually a few hundred credits or so. Autoduelers wishing to participate must register with Arena officials and pay their fee by inserting their currency cards with the imbedded digital chips, where their personal credit accounts are stored. Upon payment, the autodueler is officially registered and can compete.

Tagging this one. Possible to use a vehicle as an image from Twisted Metal: Black, though?

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

Name of Faction: The Chromium Conglomerate
What is this faction about? No sneaky tactics. Our opponents will know exactly how they lost well before they lose. Aside from that, a fanatic devotion to the three C's: cleanliness, civility, and classic/classy cars. They play the lovable villains at every show. Oddly enough, not a single one can do a good British accent.

Number of people in the faction: 24 exactly.

Notable people of the faction: Mr. Firewall, Bonzai-chan

Financial stability of faction: Considerably well off, but not a percent as well off as meets the eye. Acts like a billion-dollar firm, but has more or less a few million to spare.

Describe your car(s), and any weapons / notable additions to it / them: Mostly sedans, but historic muscles are allowed on occasion. Obviously, for the safety of the crew, the hulls are fitted with as much armor as possible before getting repainted with that shiny chrome finish. Usually a couple characteristic specialities are mounted onto it, but there's nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned hunting rifle, just in case.

Faction History: The Chromium Conglomerate was birthed from salt. Many were gripes about how the firms with the most money often got the wins. Others claimed they were about to win until some two-bit son-of-a-gun would pull a brand-new, unregistered weapon out of his derrière to win the day. The majority were upset about cheap shots, ways to win that don't require any skill, or machinery so overpowered that there weren't that many logical counters. These gripes started on the online Autoduel forums. People began thinking of a new tactics of playing, one that the opponent could have logically predicted but might not have been able to counter. Positioning and range and terrain usage, rather than one-hit kills. A small cadre of them got together in real life and made a pact and a charter, which would later shape the firm that all of Autodueling would come to fear.

They changed the game for the better, having started while the game was still fresh. Hundreds of sponsors flocked to their side, hoping for that sweet, sweet exposure. Chromium grew rich and powerful and soon almost as bad as the people they once hated. One mantra remained with them, despite their meteoric success: no cheap shots. You can't shoot someone in the back of the head, you can't use "unintelligent" weaponry (as ruled by their classification system), and you cannot fight someone if they never had a chance to win in the first place. Because their victories were so much more... real than those won by other factions, many of them (those who were not insane, at least) grew a bit pompous. It was too late to realize that the heroes had lived long enough to see them become the villains.

RP sample: You know, Talch? I can't recall anything that fits that description.

Name: Habakkuk "Happy" "Mr. Firewall" Kechman
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Appearance:
Image

Skills: Sharpshooting (when standing still), Tactics

Strengths and Weaknesses: Endurance, Loud Voice, Bit of a Coward, Poor Driver

Items / Possessions: He carries his school ring, a pocket full of quarters that he likes to fling at others for trolling purposes, and a smiley face umbrella, also for trolling purposes.

Does your character have a financial sponsor? CotinSox. They sell exactly what you think they sell. No, nobody knows why they invested in a sport that doesn't necessarily flaunt socks. But apparently they make mad cash, since they pay top dollar for athletes that represent them.

Describe your car, and any weapons / notable additions to it: The turn-of-the-millennium, third-generation Lincoln Town Car, fitted with a modern engine and suspension of course. Flamethrowers shoot out its front and sides upwards from beneath the frame, covering the vehicle in flame but keeping vision to a minimum. He himself carries a Henry lever-action .22 carbine, when things go awry.

Bio: Habakkuk, born during a time when everyone had thought that the end times were coming so they better give their kids over-compensatingly spiritual names. In his teenage years, Habakkuk ended up totaling three cars. In fact, he was objectively terrible using anything with wheels. Instead, he generally worked from home, learning to code and shoot on his family's away-from-it-all ranch. His username was MrFireWall42. It wasn't long before his virtual world got hacked and his real-life world was swallowed up in a massive blaze. Apparently the only lifeform spared by the purification of the flames, he took off to make a new living. Just because it's the post-apocalypse doesn't mean you shouldn't eat without paying for it.

He came across a recruiter for the brand-new Autoduel. When the man pulled him aside, Happy explained that he didn't do well with automobiles. The recruiter then explained that the "driving" part was more of a suggestion, and that, in fact, driving cars into other cars was a plus! Kechman could turn his greatest weakness into his greatest strength! He signed up immediately, eventually becoming a free agent and co-founding the Chromium Conglomerate.

RP sample: Still thinking...

Name: Jessie "Bonzai-chan" Nolan
Age: 28
Sex: Female
Appearance:
Image

Skills: Melee Blades, Mechanical Operation

Strengths and Weaknesses: Fearless, Can't Communicate Well

Items / Possessions: Dakimakura of herself. She calls it "Onee-chan." On top of that she carries a katana and bandana.

Does your character have a financial sponsor? "Officetopia printing machines are kawaii sugoi desu!"

Describe your car, and any weapons / notable additions to it: The 2020 Lexus Vision, fitted with glitter bombs, flashy lasers, and a cannon that can shoot swords at opponents, the last of which is mounted at the top and can be fired either manually or remotely.

Bio: Japan was very quick to collapse after the United States fell into civil war, so the only influence that young Jessie had of Japanese culture was through bits and pieces of anime that she could find in the remnants of the internet and at local nerd stores. She learned the way of the weeb, learning a whole twelve words in Japanese and imagining herself in this mythical land they call "Nihon." Someday she would learn to pilot mechs. Like, the world had just survived a massive conflict; anything was possible!

Alas, giant mechs never came, but death buggies were the next best thing, and they had those aplenty. She looked up which vehicles were Japanese. There were surprisingly few Japanese-made monster trucks, and the few that were had already been taken by the first responders. Disappointed but determined, she got a Toyota and modified it into the "mech" of her dreams, weirding those closest to her but captivating those just outside that sphere of influence. Once Habakkuk convinced her to sign on to the Conglomerate, her quirkiness gave her something that many in her field didn't have: personality. And, in the Autoduel business, personality, even a psychotic personality like hers, went a lot further than skill ever could.

RP sample: Don't worry; I'll get there eventually.

Zjaum - These are looking great! If you would put the items/ possessions and financial sponsors for Mr. Firewall and Bonzai-Chan, that would be great. (The heck is a dakimakura?)

Name: Geoffrey Ahmadi
Age: 35
Sex: Male
Appearance:
Image

Skills: Competitive driving. First aid. Diesel engine mechanic. Bartering.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Geoffrey is great at making deals, always trying to get an advantage or a favor. He has a number he can call in.
Geoffrey is a skilled mechanic, but also specializes in diesel engines. He has been known to soup up engines to make them more efficient.

Geoffrey, however, is a poor man himself and must rely on the good graces of his sometimes fickle sponsor.
Geoffrey is a chain-smoker. He needs at least a pack a day, or he gets jumpy and can't concentrate as well.

Items / Possessions: Personal body armor; Assault rifle; first aid kit; helmet. A few tools.

Does your character have a financial sponsor? Geoffrey and his teammate Eya are sponsored by Mr. Jeremiah Glass.

Describe your car, and any weapons / notable additions to it: Geoffrey drives Mr. Glass's cars, having none for himself. The Glass cars vary in make and build, but all have the following features:

  • .50 caliber M2 Browning machine gun, mounted on a swivel turret on the top
  • Rear flamethrower
  • Ram-prow
  • Extra oil canisters (armored), to make oil slicks with. The oil is dropped at the rear.
  • Pressurized cabin
  • Galvanized steel armor plating, concentrating more in the front and the rear

Some of Glass's cars have additional weapons and other hijincks for duels.

Personality: - Geoffrey is a thrill seeker, and wants to advance in autodueling enough to make a name for himself. Can be caustic and rude, but a shrewd negotiator.

Bio: Born in the turbulent 2030's, Geoffrey saw the worst of the post-apocalyptic world. Like many, his parents split up soon after his birth and Geoffrey was raised by his mother. He grew up poor, and distrustful of "the man" who got richer and made billions off the backs of men like him. Still, not having much to work with, Geoffrey soon learned the art of making deals and had a natural feel for it. In addition, he also learned more about fixing cars and felt comfortable doing so.

He began competitive driving as a teenager, to earn some more credits. Along the way, Geoffrey began to make connections. He drove well enough to impress a local wealthy business tycoon, Mr. Jeremiah Glass. Glass recruited Geoffrey to compete, and paired him up with his current partner, Eya. Geoffrey both respects and despises Glass, but can't tick off his sponsor without losing everything. The tension between these two is kept only at bay by Geoffrey's penchant for picking up victories in the arena. If at any time, however, that Geoffrey has a losing streak, he will be out - and he knows it.

RP sample: Being the OP, I know my writing.

Name: Eya Reyval
Age: 31
Sex: Female
Appearance:
Image

Skills: Some auto mechanic abilities. Robotic engineering and mechanics

Strengths and Weaknesses: Robotic legs. This paraplegic was chosen to test out the prototype for some badass robotic prostheses. She can jump high and land comfortably. Plus, the jets out the boots provide a nice weapon if certain people get too close, or a nice tool if your car is smashed and you need to blast a way out.

Items / Possessions: Tools; FN Five Seven Pistol (can pierce body armor); makeup; mirror; depression meds; EMP blaster; has access to some explosives but rarely takes them with her to autoduels, since that would be stupid and self-destructive.

Does your character have a financial sponsor? Jeremiah Glass. Prick.

Describe your car, and any weapons / notable additions to it: See car descriptions above.

Personality: Sweet and a little nuts. She will at times seem completely innocent and wholesome one moment, only to flip and become completely psycho the next moment. Just depends on her mood.

Bio: After Eya Reyval lost her legs in a tragic accident, the young sweet girl became moody, depressed and angry. Treating her injuries, her parents heard of a research program that was equipping robotic prostheses onto qualified applicants. The tech was all high quality, and very promising. Most of those chosen to take part in this experiment were soldiers, so as to give them better fighting skills. However, with her wealthy father pulling a few strings, Eya also received the robotic legs. Her heart melted for joy.

After a few years, Eya had a falling out with her controlling father and wrote him off. Needing to support herself, she began hanging around arenas, meeting people, and learning the trades. She became quite good with targeting systems and computer ops, like it was natural to her. Gaining the attention of Mr. Jeremiah Glass, a rival of her father, Eya was hired on the spot for two reasons. 1) Her robotic legs gave her several advantages that Glass could put to good use, and 2) to screw his rival by hiring his rival's hated daughter. Eya doesn't care much for her new employer and sponsor, but hey. Anything to hurt dad.

She was paired up with Geoffrey Ahmadi as a team. The two have a decent string of wins and near-wins. Eya is looking to continue her fortune.

RP sample: Again, it's me and I know how I write.

Name: Jeremiah Glass
Age: 61
Sex: Male
Appearance:
Image

Skills: Much of Jeremiah Glass, including his skillset, is the subject of speculation. Along with an incredible business resumé, Glass is rumored to be fluent in six languages and an accomplished musician. However, much of this cannot be confirmed, because a good amount of urban myth has circulated round this man who rapidly rose in wealth and prominence in the 2040's.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Much of what is credited to Jeremiah Glass is a strength. Those who dare to speak of him out loud speak fearfully, and most refuse to do it. How much of what is ascribed to him can be believed, though?

Items / Possessions: Anything money can buy. And then some.

Does your character have a financial sponsor? He IS the financial sponsor.

Describe your car, and any weapons / notable additions to it: Glass is not an autodueler himself. But he maintains and sponsors a lot of drivers and supplies them with cars. (See above under Geoffrey Ahmadi for details)

Personality: Who knows the real Jeremiah Glass? Few get to know the man, and much is simply urban legend that contradicts much of what is said. "He's a bastard." "He's fatherly." "He's loyal." "He's out for himself." What is true? It helps that he rarely makes appearances.

Bio: All that's really known about Jeremiah Glass is that he came into major money during the 2040's, and supports several autoduelers now. Much has been rumored, for those who dare to whisper. Some of the whispered rumors and urban legends make Glass out to be a modern day boogieman. But how that can be, has yet to be explained. Needless to say, any published biography on the man is unlikely to hit the markets any time soon. Those who have tried in the past to write about him have mysteriously vanished, and their stories were never printed.

RP sample: - Did I forget to mention that this is me and I know how I write?

So I've started work on the IC. Looking forward to this.

That said, some RPs have Discords. I'm willing to give it a shot if players desire it. It helps a lot for making co-write posts. But that's up to you guys. If it sounds good to you, say so and I'll try to get something figured out.

Sure. They have duels with all sorts.

Oh and if anyone wants to put pictures of their vehicle, that's fine too. I will get that put in the app soon.

WIP App

Name of Faction: Hyperion Security Systems Dueling Division
What is this faction about? Hyperion SS is a multinational defense corporation that sells arms and armour throughout North America. Wealthy enough that the money earned through Autodueling is pocket change to them, they nevertheless see Autodueling as an opportunity for "product placement" by showing off their prototype vehicles and weaponry.

Hyperion duelers have access to limitless resources, but are heavily restricted by their orders from the Marketing and R&D Divisions, who always have specific instructions regarding what weapons they should use, and how they should use them.

The duelers themselves are, well, low-level employees that are constantly scrutinized by their bosses, and are as stressed and dysfunctional as you would expect. Most of them just want to keep their job, since being a Hyperion employee is a stable position in an unstable world.

Number of people in the faction: 10 duelers, and 35 non-duelers (mechanics, software engineers, managers, etc.)

Notable people of the faction: Paul King, (Dueler), Kadeem Sultan, (Dueler) Elie Arken, (Dueler) Sheila Naismith, (R&D Division Liaison) Victor Martin, (Marketing Division Liaison) Amanda Vakavi (Mechanic)
Financial stability of faction: Hyperion itself has a bank account comparable to a small government. However, duelers they employ have only as much money as Hyperion allows them, which can vary depending on whether they're winning or losing, and how well they're following orders.

Describe your car(s), and any weapons / notable additions to it / them: Various high-tech vehicles, usually built from scratch for duelling but around the chassis of a commercially-available Hyperion vehicle. Since Hyperion duelers are basically living advertisements, most of their weaponry are bleeding-edge prototypes, but emphasize form over function and are prone to breaking down due to not being tested properly. All of their vehicles are modular, and it is rare to see any one weapon last longer than two or three matches, as they are swapped out for new models that the higher-ups in the marketing division want to advertise. All Hyperion vehicles have an onboard computer for tracking targets and automating some weapon functions, and their drivers wear visors with an augmented reality HUD that highlights important information.

Aesthetically speaking, Hyperion vehicles have a primarily white colour scheme, with blue and orange highlights. They tend to be sleek and minimalist, with most of their weaponry hidden under panels to keep the vehicle pleasing to the eye.

Faction History: Hyperion SS was formed shortly after the second Civil War, initially mostly employing former soldiers and military scientists who had no particular loyalty to the new independent states that developed in the wake of the USA. While Hyperion initially struggled to gain influence in the chaotic, lawless parts of the former USA, as civilization took hold so did Hyperion. Soon it developed a monopoly on heavy weaponry sold in the western states, and became fabulously wealthy. In certain regions, Hyperion representatives were essentially warlords, and the only form of government some people knew.

Like many corporations, Hyperion sponsored Autoduel drivers, but left them a great deal of autonomy as long as they promoted the brand every so often. However, due to drivers purchasing competitor equipment, behaving unprofessionally, and dying at a surprisingly high rate, Hyperion got fed up and decided to replace all of their sponsored drivers with paid employees they could regulate more freely.

BTW, Utc -

I like the faction of Hyperion. That's exactly the kind of group that would thrive in this world. There still are tech developers, even in this post apocalyptic setting where people are more apathetic, skeptical and armed.

Could you also make apps for people that might be duelers? (You wouldn't have to fill out the whole character app, but give us enough to RP against).

----

Also guys, what are your thoughts on how to bring about character interaction in this RP? I think those always help, but in an RP devoted to car combat, it might be a little more tough. I have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear your thoughts too.

I'm definitely going to finish my apps for Paul, Kadeem, and Ellie. They're slightly more sympathetic than their bosses, given that they're just in it for the stable job.

Psychotic Dictatorship

Postby Main Nation Ministry » Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:22 pm

Character apps will be coming soon.

Name of Faction: The Insurrections
What is this faction about? A gang of outlaws who wish to spread anarchy across the USA, while making sure that the wasteland they call home doesn't stay forgotten. Composed of bikers, violent individuals, and those who have a grudge against the law, in general, they form the Insurrections who are happy to attend being in Autoduel.

Number of people in the faction: About 30 members.

Notable people of the faction:
The Four Three Horsemen (Henchman and Enforcers for the Insurrections), Alex Hammond (Shield and Second In-Command), Simon Tretyakov (Leader of the Insurrections)

Financial stability of faction:
The Insurrections tend to stockpile their money for major operations within the faction. Overall, the Insurrections are considered low-class citizens, where the money that they use are for weapons, contraband, and other illicit activities.

Describe your cars, and any weapons / notable additions to it / them:
The Insurrections tend to use mostly motorcycles and rarely muscle cars that they can fix from junkyards around their base of operations. Most of their motorcycles are the type that were found in scrap heaps and repaired to be functioning and newly made. The muscle cars come from the same source, where after being built, they are given armor plating over the windshield and several gatling guns on each side of the hood, which are activated with a button at the driver's seat. The typical weapons the Insurrections have are sawn-off shotguns, sub-machine guns, chainsaws, sports javelins used as spears, grenades, and even molotovs.

Faction History:
After the second civil war occurred on American soil, the 2040's was in the midst of anarchy where the nation had became a wasteland without laws. Even after, society was reformed during the 50's and 60's, a certain amount of people either didn't take that the wealthy got off mostly without harm or simply wanted to continue the anarchy that happened years ago. And thus, The Insurrections were born, formed out of the flames that simply refused to be put out.

The Insurrections aren't just a band of thugs to push people around, they declare themselves as outlaws, living up the nostalgia of the fine 40's, attacking and robbing people of large wealth, taking control of small roads in deserted areas, and enjoy the scent of burnt rubber. The leader of the Insurrections seemed to have a bit of a grudge with the government, in general, where he encourages his members to unleash chaos onto any lonely law man who ends up in the path of the Insurrections. When they have gotten news about Autoduel, the Insurrections decided to enter the sport to prove their power and wrath upon viewers of Autoduel.

RP sample: Here's a IC post from a RP called Mystery on the Cross Continental Express where I play Jorg and John.
Local 22 year old Diet Coke Addict College Student Ruins Everything

Quote of the Week: "A NEW STORY ON WRITING THREAD FOR HALLOWEEN!! MYSTERY MINE AVAILABLE NOW!"

RPs I do
- How do you do fellow kids? You want to see something violent? - Artemis: Deimos Trafficking League (Horror/Mature)
- Descend into the forgotten tourist traps of Florida on this transgressive RP! - The Community (Mature/Black Comedy/Slice-of-Life)
