Introduction:
In 2018, a new generation of heroes from Greek mythology emerges. These heroes, spread widely across the globe, remain a secret from the common man as they fight continuous battles that have survived through the ages as well as new conflicts that arise every day.

Rules:
1.) Standard site rules apply, no Godmodding, metagaming, etc.
2.) Try to write good quality posts, one liners are frowned upon.
3.) Create original content that gets others interested and involved as well
4.) Have fun, you are expected to create your own story lines as well as play with others, so feel free to experiment.

You are a demigod (preferably of young adult age) who is yet to write his/her own story. You may be a hero of Greek mythology or a villain of it depending on how you choose to set up your character and story-line. All characters are current or soon to be campers at Next Generation Camp where you meet others, train, mature, and are sent on quests. Your roleplay may have independent segments but will inevitably be influenced and added-onto by others at some point. Please use the template provided below to create your character and add anything you may want. All characters must have vulnerabilities and cannot be immortal as they are demigods. Please ensure your characters are somewhat representative in personality/appearance of their god/goddess parent (including weapons). Remember your demigod, as a demigod, does not have the full powers (or even a franction of) of their parent; they can ask their parent for help and communicate with them in their thoughts but the parent has to choose to help them or give them power when they need it.

Biography: he was born from the god of areas and a human in Columbus Ohio. However, that shouldn't have happen, so the mother took the child and they hid.
However, once he reach the age of 18 he power developed and he got strength and a natural at fighting. His mother decried to bring him to his father to help train him.
Even he smart he bit of a hot head and doest fully thing through when it comes to fights which gets him into more fights.
He got into fight in school defending the little guys, and he always one. His mother tried to keep him good and no war mentality, but he is good, but he can't stop getting into fights.

Then his mother gave him the letter from the camp. She told him why he like fighting and battles and she believes that the camp will help him so he decides to go.

Weapon: Spear (used frequently in spearfishing), Bow and golden-tipped arrows (given to him at Next Generation Camp by the councilors as it was left for him there by this father)
Biography: Levi's mother decided not to tell him who his father was as a boy, instead telling him that is father was a sailor that had to leave. As a teenager, Levi found little entertainment with concrete objects and took a fondness to literature, music, and philosophy instead. He spent many days taking a sailboat out just out of sight of the shore and laying on its bow in the sunlight and listening to music or reading. He found the light to be recharging to his spirit and helpful in more fully grasping the works of literature he pursued. At the age of 18, Levi found a bit of trouble with the law when he was caught climbing up buildings to enjoy the warmth of the sun and the view from the top. Levi's mom, seeing his connection to the sun as a sign her son was missing something from a father he never knew, sent him to Next Generation Camp where the councilors informed him that he was a known son of Apollo and gave him a bow and arrow with golden-tipped arrows and a sun symbol on them as a present from his father.

Personality: Cunning, sneaky, arrogant, and greedy. Abigail lives and dies by money. Lies, cheats, and steals to acquire cash, will sell anyone and anything out for a quick payday.

Known to rebel from authority, she has snuck off of camp multiple times to "work".
Weapon: 7'' dagger, Two shorter, curved daggers
Biography: Born to a 'widowed' antique shop owner outside Glasgow, Abigail has spent her entire life around money, and old antiques. She's learned how to spot fakes from a mile away, and can convince the Queen to buy an old candlestick. Her life changed when she was 15, when her mother died in an 'accident'. The town knew she had something to do with it, but nothing was ever proven. Her plan was thrown amiss when her thought dead Father was named as the successor in the will, and Abigail was sent to Camp New Generation. This has spurned the relationship between Abigail and her father, who shut down the shop. Abigail, however, keeps relationships with some of her mothers highest clientele, and is known to sneak off of camp for weeks at a time, returning as if she had been on a shopping spree in Milan.

Personality: Ava is a quiet talkative person who is mostly trained on being as friendly to everyone as possible. Drama isn't really in her nature and tries to avoid people who draw it themselves. Most of her adult life she is living by herself. This has prompted her to really take a more of an appreciation for going out.

Ava enjoys tending her garden. She feels this helps her keep in touch with her mother whom she never meant. It is rather calming for her and helps her when she is stressed out for her busy job. Her tomatoes are her pride and joy and often brags to people about them and hand them out for free to the homeless or coworkers.

Among the other things she does Ava goes hiking weekly. She often goes out on day trips to go hiking in remote places. She often likes to meditate in these places helping her get in touch with her mother and the gods.
Weapon: Another one of her hobbies is Archery which uses a Short Bow in, but she is also rather good at using a sickle; mostly againest weeds.
Biography: Ava grew up in Upstate NY but moved to Ohio at a young age. She knew at a young age that she was a Demigod from her Father and Step Mother. They were both good parents and treated her well. However, her two younger half-brothers were kept out of the loop. When she moved out she was attending a college in NY. She got her humanities in Greek Mythology and decided to go to the Camp to get closer to her mother. She knows them now for the first time.

When he was 16 his mother was killed. He was adopted by his Half-Brother who is 27. Maverick’s half-Brother neglected him and one day tried to hit him. The 16 year old Maverick fought his brother and accidentally stabbed him, Killing him, Maverick was not charged as it was self-defense. Maverick spent his time going through foster home after Foster home before moving in with his cousin. Maverick steals to make money for him and his Cousin Mark. Maverick hates his father and has blamed him for everything that has happened in Mavericks life. Eventually Hermes found out the life his son had lived out and sent his son 2,000 U.S Dollars And threatening to steal it back if he did not go. Maverick saw this as the perfect opportunity to train and maybe take on his Father himself.

Ethan tried to be nice but he will double cross you in a heartbeat if it means he’ll win. He tends to show off which is usually his weakness when fighting or playing sports.

Biography: Ethan grew up occasionally seeing his mom and she helped train him in sports and combat. Ethan’s dad was a professional Fencer so Ethan grew up Fencing. Before Ethan came to camp he played every sport he could, dominating most of them. Ethan is extremely athletic from his genes and has experience fencing, boxing , and Running track. Ethan’s father discovered the Camp from Ethan’s mother and they had to send him so he could develop his skills and win in life. Ethan can be heoic if he needs to but he’ll back down most times when he knows he can’t win.

Today is Wednesday (ic), and that means it is time for a game of capture the flag. Only wooden training weapons and wooden shields are permitted in capture the flag. The administrators have split into coaches and picked campers into 3 teams for capture the flag. The teams today are as follows:

God(dess) parent: Dionysus (doesn’t know it yet)

Appearance: well-dressed, with slick, dark brown hair, sometimes underneath a backwards ballcap, green eyes

Personality: preppy, loves parties, usually the one outdrinking everyone else, confident in himself with no desire for combat, seems to make others around him drunker just by being around
Weapon: staff or spear, wrapped in grape vine
Biography: Harry Brewer was a normal college kid who had grown up under the impersonation that his father left the family when he was young. He started drinking at a young age not recklessly but just to the point that his intoxication would make him feel better. As he aged, he noticed that when he was drunk he’d hear voices in his head that he assumed to be his own thoughts intoxicated. One night he got very drunk and must have followed the voices directions and woke up in the middle of the woods. Harry walked only a couple minutes before finding Next Generation Camp and walking right on in. The administrators of the camp knew right away that he being able to walk in meant he was a demigod but found no record of his and placed him in placement-pending housing until he was to figure out his godly parent.

Origin: Savannah, Georgia

Allegiance to that parent (y/n): He mistrusts the god very much, hating Zeus with a passion, he will always look for a way towards the downfall of zeus
Appearance: 6'3, 210 Lbs, Dark brown hair cut short, green eyes
Personality: Like the ocean, he can fase between calm and collected into a terrible rage without much warning. He is usually loyal o those he calls friends, though he isn't quick to trust, he blames the gods for his mothers death, as she died in a Plane crash when he was 7. Thinking this was the result of the long lasting feud between His father poseidon and his brother zeus. He has always hated zeus since, and has never forgiven poseidon for failing to protect his mother.
Weapon: A set of two bracelets that were given to him by his father after his mothers death, they have the power to transform into a Set of two swords, or a Sword and shield at Roberts wish.
