Some of you may already know this, but this RP is based off a story I had started to create over the past year. This RP is an alternate reality of that story, with a few of the characters (Like Adelina Larot, Jasmine Taulra from DW) appearing here, who also are major characters in that story. I'm just glad you guys like the framework I've established. The story is not anything special, as I have no plans on making a book or something. However the positive feedback is really encouraging me to continue. Thanks everyone!

a wonderful fight, Thanatos did exactly what he wanted, sow fear into their hearts and make them not realize there is another group involved. And iv gained the perfect allies, so how much longer could caimus fight?Haedros 92712 wrote:Asardia wrote:Alright. Thanks Xichung and 5pb. I appreciate the feedback. Caimus wouldn’t have allowed Adelina to fight beside him. An important directive of the Black Phoenix would likely be to pass down command to Adelina, one of the few people who know that the organization exists, in case of his own death (hint hint). There are three outsiders who know about Black Phoenix: The emperor, Jasmine, and Adelina. He wouldn’t put himself in a life threatening situation and allow Adelina to be in danger also.

Ok that makes sense. I wasn't even aware that Adelina would have known about the Black Phoenix.btw, Jasmine would be like eleven years old right now lolBut now that this situation has settled down, I wonder what should happen next. The Emperor will probably still hold the conference for the nobles still in attendance at the underground bunker

I plan on setting up the four horsemen in here, Thanatos and Rasputin are already two of them. Now all I need is the final two

Character Name: Darian Excelsis
Appearance:
House (what family does your character belong to?): None
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Personality: He is rather seroios as the leader of the Protectors, and he is also quite thoughtful.
Mage Type (Mage, Sensor, Esoteric, Medic, Archmage, Inquisitor?): Mage
Magic/Abilities (if any): Basic fire magic. He can summon a short blast of fire, but that's it.
Limitations (what are the restrictions on your character’s abilities?): He can't shoot fire more than two feet infront of him.
Faction (does your character belong to a faction? Where does your character’s loyalties lie?): The Protectors of the Histories. He is extreamly loyal to the Protectors.
Biography: Darian was born to the former High Protector of the Histories Maria Excelsis. At a young age he was tutored by the Protector Mages in Underbase, and this continued until he mastered his limited ability. He was soon put into a position of power when his mother died, leaving him to run the Protectors at the age of fifteen, and he ran them well. He also established contacts with bandits willing to find books of ancient history and bring them to him. When he was twenty, he established the defensive line of the Upper Corridor to prevent undead raids from the insane necromancer who resided up there, and he also began taking in refugees who were afraid of the emperor. Eventually, once he was thirty-three, he began training more Protector Mages than before, allowing them to be bolder knowing that there were Medics that could heal them if they were wounded.
Additional Information (anything else you want to say?):

Me too. I'm not good with character battle predictions/analysis but I'll try to see what I can come up with.
Izayoi vs Jade: So from what I interpreted, Izayoi has super strength and can create objects. With his Force Magic, he may be able to counter Jade's Ice Magic, as she usually attacks from mid to long range. When he sees it coming, I imagine Izayoi would try to use his strength to shatter it (similar to what Midoriya was doing against Todoroki). However, she can still use Ice very precisely and if she gets near Izayoi, she would attempt to cover him completely in Ice, lowering his body temperature to dangerous levels. Izayoi me be able to still break out of it by using the force magic throughout his entire body and expelling it suddenly. Jade also has the Cursed Eye, which basically gives her Byakugan powers. She will be able to see Izayoi gather up magic for Force and Creation, and also will be able to analyze his movements to predict his next attack. Every mage has points throughout their body where magic travels, and Jade will be able to clearly see that. She can just use her Wind Magic to attack those points through something like the Gentle Fist from Naruto. And even if Jade manages to get injured as a result of Force, she can use healing magic to restore herself back to an optimal level. Jade, being an assassin, can use Wind to deprive Izayoi of oxygen, which I see her using only as a final attack. I personally think Jade has the upperhand here due to her having more powers than Izayoi. Jade is also a master martial artist, and combine that with her Wind Magic, she's a fierce hand to hand fighter. But with Force, I imagine Izayoi countering Jade's quick strikes with brute strength. Jade has the speed advantage but Izayoi has the strength. But if Jade is too quick and manages to hit Izayoi in his weak spots, he'll be temporarily paralyzed. Conclusion Jade wins most of the time unless Izayoi has either advanced knowledge of Jade's powers, or can quickly figure her out.
Izayoi vs Kiyonari: While Kiyonari may not be as strategic as Jade, his magic would give him a huge advantage. Using Portals, Kiyonari will be able to counter Izayoi in close quarters combat (as Izayoi would just slip through the portal and either be trapped in Kiyonari's Dimension, or be transported somewhere else). And his Fire Magic is comparable to the Allegrodo. So just like with Jade, he'll want to avoid hand to hand combat unless he counters Kiyonari by blocking and getting a clean hit in like the stomach or something. Or he could just break Kiyonari's arms, which would prevent him from using portals. Izayoi's Creation Magic would be nullified as any object like a sword would be absorbed by a portal. Kiyonari's Wind Magic is not even really a factor. He can use Wind Blade to a certain extent, but I don't see him resorting to using Wind at all. Conclusion: Kiyonari wins
Izayoi vs Devilface: Devilface's Illusions would have to be used strategically. Since he doesn't have the Illusion Magic Jasmine had (which was like the Tsukuyomi), Devilface can only change the appearance of himself and things around him, and can't affect other sense like touch. So Devilface wouldn't use his illusions to make Izayoi's sword vanish since he still would be able to feel it in his hand, just won't be able to see it. So Izayoi would probably just use Force in this fight, but again, he would want to avoid close proximity or risks getting burned. Conclusion: I think it's more or less a draw. Devilface's illusions would not be too useful here, so his fire magic is really the only thing to worry about. But if Izayoi strikes first, I see him taking Devilface down.
Izayoi vs Aleina (and Devilface?): I doubt Aleina would fight Izayoi without Devilface, as their magic would really be beneficial together. Izayoi would be trapped in an illusion akin to the ones Jasmine used against Suzuka in DW. Conclusion:Together, I believe Aleina and Devilface have the upperhand. Their illusions are powerful, but if the illusions for whatever become ineffective, then Aleina definitely loses.
Izayoi vs Cross Oxwind: Cross basically has two, one hit death strikes in Plague Curse Magic and Last Breath. Plague Curse Magic is a curse that would give the target deadly disease that only Medics would heal (but only if Cross touches Izayoi). So as long as Izayoi does not get into physical contact with Cross, he can avoid that curse. But that also means that Force would be useless here too. Izayoi would want to avoid fighting in hand to hand combat to avoid getting hit with the Plague. Cross's Last Breath would give Izayoi insanity if Izayoi manages to strike a killing blow. So Izayoi really should just either avoid fighting Cross altogether, or kill him instantly (like decapitating) him. Conclusion: As long as Izayoi avoids the two curses, he would win. Otherwise, I'll have to give this fight to Cross
That's all of the Etira for now (with the exception of Ayano, but she isn't an official member yet). So, in one on one fights, Izayoi holds the highest advantage against Aleina and Devilface. All other fights would force Izayoi to be very strategic, but he should be good at this. At first glance, Izayoi loses against the Etira by himself, but he may find ways to defeat them.
Izayoi vs the Three Elites: These are the legendary Archmages of the Unification Wars. Together, they stomp Izayoi. Dyfores' Lightning Magic and Yucella's Wind Magic make them the fastest mages ever. Izayoi would have the best chance against Baesu and his Ice Magic, but that still would be a difficult fight, as all three archmages have access to the four common elements. That's my analysis. I'm sure you guys can come up with something much betterHaedros 92712 wrote:Black Phoenix has been finished

If he's as fast and skilled as the guy in the video, then he will give the Etira problems.
Also how would you guys feel about Jade being an Esoteric? Her power would be Restoration, which basically allows her to repair anything she touches. She already has a lesser version of this with her medical magic, but I thought I'd go all the way.

Yes. Adelina did show high promise as a student at the academy, so the Knights may have assigned Caimus to help train her during the last few years (as training for Phoenix Knights begin around 13). Also your explanation for Forseti and Absolute Zero are pretty good. Caimus learned about the techniques, and added his own spin to it. The Cheristi's Wind Blade and the Sayuga's Ice Magic would be one of the most coveted techniques, since they came from the most prestigious Noble families in the empire.
I also want to point out that the characters you guys create aren't just limited to the powers they currently have. They can always train to improve
