Seems like it. Had little fuel to begin with, and we did the best we could.
I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

Support: Paleo-imperialism, conservatism, libertarianism, Christianity.
Against: Stupid people, resistance to industrial progress, alt-right, any form of government at or beyond socialism.

Goshdang it, Helowi. We were kinda loose about where our city is (honestly, it could have been anywhere in the world), but you just had to stick us in the American South!

Neighborhood name: Acreborough
Town Hall representative: Joseph Caldwell III
Neighborhood description: Acreborough or just Acre as it is known among it's people has not changed much for a long time.
Formerly a small rural village west of the city Acre is filled with small houses and, as of lately, cheap and mostly unprofitable farm land. For a long time the residents of Acreborough have struggled with a lack of public transportation and decent roads. In responce to their grievances state government has given substancial financial grants in order to replace neighbourhood's outdated dirt roads with asphalt roads and bike lanes to much joy of the local population. Cheap land and dificult financial situation of the farmers living on this land for generations has attracted attention from big real estate companies aiming to buy out land from struggling farmers in order to build housing for potential upper middle class buyers. This situation has sparked massive controversy and a political battle between the residents with their strength relying on their numbers and developers relying on their money, using it to influence local government and politics in their favor.

The Nieghbourhood has it's own coat of arms dating back a long time.
Image

The neighbourhood is populated by lower-class white people. Acre's favourite means of transportation is bike.

Neighborhood name: Fergaland
Town Hall representative: Desmond Fitzconnor Fergal IV
Neighborhood description: Located in the far north of the city - so far north, in fact, that sometimes it is not actually regarded as a part of the city - Fergaland is a rural and mostly low-income neighborhood, consisting of the great corn plantation currently owned by the sixth generation of the Fergal family and villages inhabited, among others, by sharecroppers who work on the Fergal plantation and their families. In recent years some young people have left Fergaland in search of job opportunities. For those who remain in Fergaland, life pretty much remains the same, with quite many villagers in service of the Fergals, tending to their land and giving the Fergals a sizable share of the crops.

To their credit, the Fergals - despite living in relative opulence - do care about the people in their neighborhood and have paid for renovations in the villages and the construction of paved roads to better connect Fergaland with other parts of the city. Small shops have started to appear in the villages. The neighborhood is almost entirely Catholic, no doubt because of evangelization efforts sponsored by successive generations of Fergals, and one of the most conservative in all of the city.

I'm in one of the most conservative parts of California. Haven't even seen a statue of anyone in the vicinity, let alone of Robert E. Lee.

...sigh...

Could we just put the name thing to a poll? It feels like the forum is the worst place to stage a vote, and everyone is just continuing the conversation instead of actually listening and voting.

It's 7 vs. 14, dude. Also, 6 places named Cary. None named Respite, as far as I know.

Lel, I'm just picking a bone at that Jefferson suggestion tho. Calling other name generic when its also generic.

Haha yeah, Fergal is basically the neighborhood grumpy old man. He just doesn't like the names Carrie and Montgomery. Too many towns named Montgomery is basically just an excuse (even if it's true). :p
