I'm here, as well - mostly waiting for the French and the Dutch to respond to my letters.
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

The RP is still alive, of course. It's just slow, as it has always been.
What parts of history, more specifically?
If it's about the Roman conquest of Mesopotamia, it probably happened under Alexios the Great, or under one of this direct descendants.

This is what I've got for the Roman-Sassanian War. Tell me if you are happy:
"The great Roman-Persian War of the seventh century ended early in December 627, with Khosrow II making peace with Heraclius at Nineveh with a treaty settling the conflict uti possidetis. This led to minor uprisings against Khosrow II, which he managed to survive through. A much greater problem faced the Sassanians in the form of the Arab invasion of Mesopotamia in 633. Betrayed by his son Kavadh, who had him murdered in Ctesiphon, the Arabs succeeded in driving the Sassanians out of their capital and the whole of Mesoptamia by 635. Relocating to the Zagros, the embattled Sassanian rulers never mustered the power to retake Mesopotamia, even as the Arabs struggled against their Roman adversaries to the north and west. "
And at some point (we'd need to include Arabia in this) the Mesopotamian Arabs became independent, allowing the Persians to seize Sumer about 950 CE and the Romans seizing the rest in a time of your choice.

The part about the Roman-Sassanian War is good - the war was pretty much pointless anyway - so it ending early wouldn't be much of an issue - but the end should be the same - the Romans regaining their lost territories, their captured soldiers, and the relics that were taken from Jerusalem, including the True Cross.
The war indemnity that was paid in real life doesn't really matter.
As for Mesopotamia - we should certainly discuss the rest with the Arabian player too - there was a Caliphate centered in Baghdad as far as I remember, but the Roman reconquest would certainly happen during the reign of Alexios.
We still need to decide the exact borders though.

In addition there are a small number of other Christian sects in all areas as well as pagan groups in parts of Baluchistan and Hyrcania.

The app overall looks alright - someone will probably take a second look at it soon, but I have to mention a thing:Raetia Secunda wrote:The population of the Kiziqal kingdom is, however, not just Marcionites. Now, there would certainly be a significant Jewish minority inside of the ERE. Both a historical one, especially in certain areas, and one that is more recent in nature - it's still early, but there probably are Jews moving back to Palestine. There are other minorities in many other parts of the empire, but we need to take into account the historical differences. It's been a basic policy of the Roman Empire for nearly a thousand years now - that you have to be a Christian citizen in order to be a Roman citizen in the East - Orthodox, or sometimes, Catholics will also be tolerated. Now, while the Roman state is certainly not opressing most of those religious and ethnic minorities, it is trying to Romanize/Hellenize them, and it has been doing that for a long time.
So in this case, I do have to bring a simple example - that of Taurica, or well, Crimea. It has been Roman for a long while and it serves as an important part of the Roman territorial core - it is ethnically Roman in its majority and the Crimean Karaites wouldn't exist as a group.
That's what I had to say - the rest of the app looks alright. The history seems good to me, even if I'm not an expert on the region, and we did discuss the Roman part of it. The army is alright and is realistic, though you should probably add a line or two about its equipment and tactics.
And as for the development system - the categories were right there in the paranthesis - [Modern, Semi-Industrialized, or Primitive] - it's a relatively simple system, designed to replace the earlier centers of modernization system. Persia seems to be somewhere within Primitive and Semi-Industrialized judging by your explanation, but you should add that.

Thanks! Made changes in development and military. With the Karaite thing, I had intended that the Persian Karaites would have aid from other states where Diaspora Karaites are in the event of a serious persecution. More as a fifth column in Persia than in the ERE or Russia.

Well, I'm not worried about a fifth colum or something like that - I just wanted to make sure that the presence of such minorities in the ERE would respect the historical changes - so this Karaite minority would be present in other regions.

So likely by now any Karaite minority is more spread out and less loud than would otherwise be true? I suppose then the Russian minority would be more of an issue for Shenāriyah.
Am I accepted then? Fortunately we seem to be the most active part of the globe at the moment.

I'm not sure about Persia - it's just that in the Roman Empire, religious and ethnic minorities are generally confined to the rural areas of provinces such as central Mesopotamia, Palestine, and parts of Egypt and Sudan.
The Kararites would certainly not be a big minority, even when combined with the other Jews. The Roman Empire hasn't exactly been a great target for Jewish immigrants, so groups like the Copts or the Assyrians would be bigger, but even so, the Romanization/Hellenization of the Roman Middle East has been pretty successful.
And yeah, you are accepted!
