The Governorship is Republican-held. There was an application, but it was abandoned.

Amaras is outspoken and probably has a decent amount of Tea Party-ish followers, but I doubt that he could pull off a purge without someone more important’s support.

Reed technically has some athletic experience abroad in that period via the 1998 Pan-American Games.

Neither Rossi nor Kingsley have ever traveled internationally.

Cao grew up in Vietnam, and lived there from birth until she fled the country with the rest of her family (except her father) in 1963.
