For a brief absence, you do not have to designate control to another player, and can simply leave him inactive for that short period, though if you wish to do so, you certainly may.

I was apping for it, but decided against it. I will be applying for a character who will run for the seat soon.

I knew Amaras was going to get riled up eventually...

Now let's see if he starts a purge.

Amaras is outspoken and probably has a decent amount of Tea Party-ish followers, but I doubt that he could pull off a purge without someone more important’s support.

Are there any other characters on the field that have experience abroad in the 1949-1999 time period? Possibly a part of diplomatic/intelligence/military operations?

Walsh will be arriving soon and he did very serious Counter-Intelligence with the CIA in Post-Coldwar Germany, if that's something Prazek would be interested in.

No problem, just making sure I hadn't missed a reply by accident, since Sarah's doing lot of meetings recently.

Legit Russian spies would probably not be able to survive long enough to be in Congress.

Amaras has very limited international business experience within that time period.

Reed technically has some athletic experience abroad in that period via the 1998 Pan-American Games.

Neither Rossi nor Kingsley have ever traveled internationally.

Cao grew up in Vietnam, and lived there from birth until she fled the country with the rest of her family (except her father) in 1963.

Her father, of course, was indisposed at the moment....

Samara has traveled to the middle east a bunch in the past decade. Fowler has academic experience regarding uplifting emerging economies, Anderson is a Manchurian Candidate.
