Given the substantial gap in in-character time between the arrest and the event and the earlier-discussed high likelihood of bail, unless Kramer elects to not post for whatever reason, that was the assumption operated under.

Winslow's response is rather unfortunate, if wholly rational from her standpoint. While Reed is quite fond of a Rossi pick in-character, spurred on by Denisevich's comments on longevity and party loyalty, I had rather hoped to avoid losing my sole Representative out-of-character.

Well, that and I’m sure the media will love to attack Reed for picking a Supreme Court Justice who has only a few years of House experience and can’t speak in full sentences.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: UCSO
Character Name: Sam Havich
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 84
Character Height: 6 feet
Character Weight: 150 pounds
Character Position/Role/Job: Representative, 7th Congressional District, Texas
Appearance: (Image)
Character State of Origin: Texas
Character State of Residence: Texas
Character Party Affiliation: Republican
Main Strengths: Decades of experience, adored by many due to his POW story
Main Weaknesses: establishment politician, very poor hearing, easily manipulated if one presses the right buttons, poor speaker, although he is trying to improve
Biography: Sam Havich was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 23rd, 1933. His childhood was fairly uneventful, as he was born to a middle-class urban family, one of thousands, if not millions, in Texas. In 1956, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot, just as the Vietnam War was heating up. In 1962, he was sent to Vietnam, and served there for most of the war, before being shot down over North Vietnam and held in captivity for the last 7 years of the war. His experiences as a POW varied widely, going from easy to brutal. His time in 'nam has had a profound impact on his political views, resulting in him becoming a closet atheist, a fact that only his close friends and relatives (including Buck).

After coming home from the war, Sam decided to enter politics, disgruntled by American foreign policy. Sam was elected to the Texas State Senate, a young, moderate Republican destined for greater things. After a decade in Texas politics, Sam used his connetions to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, winning by a large margin in the 7th Congressional District election in 1984.

Then, the death of his wife, with a heart attack following soon after, happened, and Sam's future in politics stagnated. He lost most, if not all, of his luster, becoming one of hundreds of Republican backbenchers always voting along the party line. This led to him being considered much more conservative than he had been in the beginning of his political career. He largely lost his voice in the party, and his opinion, simply going with the whip, or not voting at all on the bills where there was no whip. Sam kept on winning elections, however, purely due to the Republican machine in Texas.

That all changed in 2016, with his great-nephew, Buck Havich, becoming VP. Seeing lil' Jr., as Sam liked to call Buck, go so far have him new energy, and a new sense of purpose. He now votes more regularly, and brings more originality to the House chamber, but still has some ways to go.
Other Info: Typical conservative Rep, although he believes in LGBT rights. Great-uncle of Buck Havich. Due to him slumbering for decades, he's lost much of his speaking abilities, although he is taking lessons to get better.

Bump, with added moderacy details.

I should have the time to do a full review, now.

1. Something of a question as to his reputation, here. Is he viewed as being pro-business, or problematically pro-union? The commentary on the hearing in general is somewhat difficult to discern, with the noted issue being the moderacy of his views, what would the composition of the vote on his confirmation be?

2. Given that Wegman's is a family owned and operated business, I would recommend simply changing this to a nondescript high-ranking position in the company.

3. A district is needed. I would recommend the 25th, and changing the vote total to something along the lines of a 48-47 margin, to account for other votes.

4. More details would be preferable, though this is acceptable. The question would come again to his stance on unions, with a fiscally conservative voting record, whether he would support right-to-work legislation, and the like.

5. I would recommend narrowing this margin of victory significantly to a plurality victory, again leaving space for other votes, perhaps 47-46 or 48-46.
