If I were an abortionist all the bill means is that I would just do the following to get around the bill

1) Ultrasound some random part of the body

2) Put everything in Section 3 in an obscure part of some sort of 1000 page contract that the woman has to sign

3) Make the woman sign a waiver where she waives her right to terminate the abortion at her pleasure and transfers such responsibility to the abortionist

Needless to say not a particularly effective bill other than marginally increasing the admin expenses of the abortion clinics

I don't think it would work like that

1 you have to go along with w/the second part of that line or you're making false statements to the patient

2-3 both could work fine, but would be a chilling effect kind of thing, not gonna stop someone who really wants one, but for someone on the fence getting a thousand page liability and a waiver that says you can't say stop would probably knock them to the other side of the fence

And even 3 would be questionable if it could be waived

No one's gonna read the agreement, but for the shaky teenager who got an unexpected preg suddenly being given a thousand pages of liability to sign is gonna get them more scared/thinking twice because they know they're never gonna read it

Shouldn't scare off anyone who's made the decision but might get the fringe cases shook
