Brennan is very tempted to endorse Rod Johnson for New York, he thinks Marlio is an incompetent idiot. Lotto is tinfoil hat wearing Alex Jones type. And Torres is an insane lunatic

Even in a best case scenario, like a case similar to Roy Moore, Democrats would have trouble squeaking out a win.

Now, imagine how a Progressive will fair...

Kinda my point too. They're so irrelevant in Mississippi that I don't even see a Progressive candidate doing that, to be honest. It's still going to be strict Democrat/Republican territory, and I add "Democrat" loosely.

Brankers is not endorsing a Prog

And he hates the two of the Republicans for various reasons, and the 3rd is completely unqualified

Literally 85% of whites are Republicans of varying degrees. This leaves Democratic whites at 9% of the population at best. They don't all live in college towns. Many are establishment government workers, or live in rural areas. This is assuming the Progs could also get enough resources in such a state to reach such a scattered electorate. There is no way the national party would risk contributing to the success of Williams.

Williams winning would benefit both the Democrats and the Progressives nationally

His defeat would be a great moral victory for the left. He really doesn't work as a strawman because he's such a caricature
