Starting Items: The clothes she's wearing, a knife, two handguns (a primary, Beretta 93R, and a holdout) and a concerning amount of ammunition, an old charm necklace from her mother, and a tin of canned fish she had been in the middle of opening.
Power: Truth Manipulation (see Chikujōin Magane from Re:Creators) "...ability allows her to bend reality through lies and deception; by telling a lie and manipulating somebody into rejecting that claim it creates a "lie of a lie" which by proxy makes the initial claim become real... Her power is to reverse the cause and effect by making the person under her spell deny what she asked. Reality that was bent will have it effects stuck in the real world."
Obviously doesn't work if there isn't someone who calls her out on her lies.
Skills: First aid and combat from her police days, with other skills like lockpicking and hacking from her less than savory days. Multi-lingual.

Power: Brainwave Manipulation "User can manipulate the brainwaves, the rhythmic/repetitive neural activity in the central nervous system of living beings, which can be used to affect how active or aware the other person may be. They can affect targets ability to concentrate, the thinking speed, cause them go asleep or awake, etc."
Requires eye contact, direct body contact, or prolonged auditory contact. Basically there needs to be a method for Adelina to "transmit" the new brainwave pattern as if it were a physical or electromagnetic wave of some kind. The quickest method is direct eye contact (can be fractions of a second depending how much she's trying to do), followed by relatively sustained physical contact (several seconds, extending to maybe a minute if she's doing something complex), and the slowest and most difficult is through sound, i.e. talking to someone for several minutes.
Obviously it requires there to be something resembling a brain for there to be an effect, so certain types of enemies/beings/whatever would be functionally immune, and it's a very single target type of skill. Fleeting direct eye contact would at most be enough to provoke a "keep looking directly at me" sort of response, and then she'd actually be able to do more with it, but she obviously can't very well do that to multiple targets, with 2 being nearly impossible as the brainwaves are obviously different enough to make simultaneous use a problem, unless it's a hive mind, and she might lose trying to mess with that. So she's effectively locked down for a short period with each targeted use, which leaves her vulnerable to any other threat.

Not much has happened. The 2018 people have just recently been discovered aboard the Dragon 5, and yeah, you can assume that your character was there the whole time, just silent. So, really you only need to read from my last post
