Zulu diaspora was among the mightiest as they were the ones who managed to give the British the most grief, even managed to defeat them once. This made them a very strong culture that many Europeans feared a rebellion.

The British cracked down hard on the diaspora and watch for any sort of rebellion but the Zulus were mostly compliant as they worked for their colonial masters. One man, named Paul Smuks who was Zulu born, but a British immigrant that was part of the British army before the Zulu-Anglo War had saw the massive mistreatment of the South African natives and retired with high regards after he did a tour in northern parts of Africa in order to speak out about the native mistreatment but it fell on deaf ears to the European leaders.

Paul was imprisoned for a month and was released. It was then he joined with various local Zulu leaders and join up to make the Zulu Restoration Front, a front that can fight back against the British conquerors from South Africa and reestablish the Zulu Empire in its place. Within years, the ZRF grew in number as they spearheaded Zulu Diaspora and grew immense anti-imperialistic sentiment. Propaganda was spread in large cities as they didn't want the Zulus and other natives to join in the fight, promising to bring a better rulership than without the need of the British crown.

After years of growing in number and gathering smuggled weapons and artillery, the ZRF had sparked a rebellion within a insurgency campaign and fight against the British openly. The ZRF had spread among the other East African colonies as their message had started to spread beyond South Africa and it has allowed them to get support that they needed. Still, they fight an uphill battle and are desperate for allies in both military and diplomatic support but Paul is still hoping that they can fight the British and get the independence that they once had.

I would like for you to expand more on the history of the Naples Empire. Overall, it's much better than last time, but you say you have 65 battleships, but the Royal Navy only had 29 by World War One. Did you mean you just had 65 ships in total?

Like for starters your current population is still colossal for only half of Italy seeing as during the time period it only had a population of around 8,703,000 so you'd have an army of 87,030. As for history there's a link in the OP that contains the history of a bunch of nations that could help you make your nation.

I'm thinking about having the date somewhere near or during the Berlin Conference, if you guys want to have it. It'll be August 1, 1884. I think it may be an interesting way to start the RP for the European powers

Also, other attendees and signers of the conference included Russia, Denmark, the Swedish-Norwegian union
and Austria-Hungary, despite them never gaining any colonies in Africa from the treaty.

Also, the only other independent nations in Africa after the treaty (Morocco, the Boer republics, Ethiopia, Liberia, Hobyo and Majeerteens) never actually attended the conference. Plus, if my memory is correct, the Ottomans did have land in Egypt at the time around before the conference.

History (choose a point of origin to start from):Following the rebellion in 1282, King Charles I of Sicily (Charles of Anjou) was forced to leave the island of Sicily by Peter III of Aragon's troops. Charles, however, maintained his possessions on the mainland, customarily known as the "Kingdom of Naples", after its capital city. Charles and his Angevin successors maintained a claim to Sicily, warring against the Aragonese until 1373, when Queen Joan I of Naples formally renounced the claim by the Treaty of Villeneuve. Joan's reign was contested by Louis the Great, the Angevin King of Hungary, who captured the kingdom several times (1348–1352). Queen Joan I also played a part in the ultimate demise of the first Kingdom of Naples. As she was childless, she adopted Louis I, Duke of Anjou, as her heir, in spite of the claims of her cousin, the Prince of Durazzo, effectively setting up a junior Angevin line in competition with the senior line. This led to Joan I's murder at the hands of the Prince of Durazzo in 1382, and his seizing the throne as Charles III of Naples. The two competing Angevin lines contested each other for the possession of the Kingdom of Naples over the following decades. Charles III's daughter Joan II (r. 1414–1435) adopted Alfonso V of Aragon (whom she later repudiated) and Louis III of Anjou as heirs alternately, finally settling succession on Louis' brother René of Anjou of the junior Angevin line, and he succeeded her in 1435. René of Anjou temporarily united the claims of junior and senior Angevin lines. In 1442, however, Alfonso V conquered the Kingdom of Naples and unified Sicily and Naples once again as dependencies of Aragon. At his death in 1458, the kingdom was again separated and Naples was inherited by Ferrante, Alfonso's illegitimate son.

When Ferrante died in 1494, Charles VIII of France invaded Italy, using as a pretext the Angevin claim to the throne of Naples, which his father had inherited on the death of King René's nephew in 1481. This began the Italian Wars.

Charles VIII expelled Alfonso II of Naples from Naples in 1495, but was soon forced to withdraw due to the support of Ferdinand II of Aragon for his cousin, Alfonso II's son Ferrantino. Ferrantino was restored to the throne, but died in 1496, and was succeeded by his uncle, Frederick IV. Charles VIII's successor, Louis XII reiterated the French claim. In 1501, he occupied Naples and partitioned the kingdom with Ferdinand of Aragon, who abandoned his cousin King Frederick. The deal soon fell through, however, and Aragon and France resumed their war over the kingdom, ultimately resulting in an Aragonese victory leaving Ferdinand in control of the kingdom by 1504. The Spanish troops occupying Calabria and Apulia, led by Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordova did not respect the new agreement, and expelled all Frenchmen from the area. The peace treaties that continued were never definitive, but they established at least that the title of King of Naples was reserved for Ferdinand's grandson, the future Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor. Ferdinand nevertheless continued in possession of the kingdom, being considered as the legitimate heir of his uncle Alfonso I of Naples and also to the former Kingdom of Sicily (Regnum Utriusque Siciliae).

The kingdom continued as a focus of dispute between France and Spain for the next several decades, but French efforts to gain control of it became feebler as the decades went on, and never genuinely endangered Spanish control.
The French finally abandoned their claims to Naples by the Treaty of Cateau-Cambrésis in 1559.

In the Treaty of London (1557), five cities on coast of Tuscany were designated the Stato dei Presidi (State of the Presidi), and part of the Kingdom of Naples.
After the War of the Spanish Succession in the early 18th century, possession of the kingdom again changed hands. Under the terms of the Treaty of Rastatt in 1714, Naples was given to Charles VI, the Holy Roman Emperor. He also gained control of Sicily in 1720, but Austrian rule did not last long. Both Naples and Sicily were conquered by a Spanish army during the War of the Polish Succession in 1734, and Charles, Duke of Parma, a younger son of King Philip V of Spain was installed as King of Naples and Sicily from 1735. When Charles inherited the Spanish throne from his older half-brother in 1759, he left Naples and Sicily to his younger son, Ferdinand IV. Despite the two Kingdoms being in a personal union under the Habsburg and Bourbon dynasts, they remained constitutionally separate.

Being a member of the House of Bourbon, Ferdinand IV was a natural opponent of the French Revolution and Napoleon. In 1798, he briefly occupied Rome, but was expelled from it by French Revolutionary forces within the year. Soon afterwards Ferdinand fled to Sicily. In January 1799 the French armies installed a Parthenopaean Republic, but this proved short-lived, and a peasant counter-revolution inspired by the clergy allowed Ferdinand to return to his capital. However, in 1801 Ferdinand was compelled to make important concessions to the French by the Treaty of Florence, which reinforced France's position as the dominant power in mainland Italy.
Ferdinand's decision to ally with the Third Coalition against Napoleon in 1805 proved more damaging. In 1806, following decisive victories over the allied armies at Austerlitz and over the Neapolitans at Campo Tenese, Napoleon installed his brother, Joseph as King of Naples. When Joseph was sent off to Spain two years later, he was replaced by Napoleon's sister Caroline and his brother-in-law Marshal Joachim Murat, as King of the Two Sicilies.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand had fled to Sicily, where he retained his throne, despite successive attempts by Murat to invade the island. The British would defend Sicily for the remainder of the war but despite the Kingdom of Sicily nominally being part of the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Coalitions against Napoleon, Ferdinand and the British were unable to ever challenge French control of the Italian mainland.
After Napoleon's defeat in 1814, Murat reached an agreement with Austria and was allowed to retain the throne of Naples, despite the lobbying efforts of Ferdinand and his supporters. However, with most of the other powers, particularly Britain, hostile towards him and dependent on the uncertain support of Austria, Murat's position became less and less secure. Therefore, when Napoleon returned to France for the Hundred Days in 1815, Murat once again sided with him. Realising the Austrians would soon attempt to remove him, Murat gave the Rimini Proclamation in a hope to save his kingdom by allying himself with Italian nationalists.
The ensuing Neapolitan War between Murat and the Austrians was short, ending with a decisive victory for the Austrian forces at the Battle of Tolentino. Murat was forced to flee, and Ferdinand IV of Sicily was restored to the throne of Naples. Murat would attempt to regain his throne but was quickly captured and executed by firing squad in Pizzo, Calabria. The next year, 1816, finally saw the formal union of the Kingdom of Naples with the Kingdom of Sicily into the new Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.

Major Divergence begins with Cnut the Great’s son Harthacnut(Cnut II/reigned 1035 to 1049) living long enough to inherit his father’s empire, but before he could get a hold of the ropes, he was dealing with an English revolt. Landing at Sandwich and scoring a decisive victory over the rebels, he would strengthen his hold upon the Kingdom of England. However, he had to appeal to the populace by converting to Catholicism, and he furthered his hold by invading a pagan Norse chief in the Wadden Isles, gaining him the approval of the Pope and the people of England. He was able to sire a son, Cnut, but a few years later died in a hunting accident, now the Empire was in a regency, and in the Medieval Ages, that was, most of the time, a death sentence for any state.

Cnut, now Cnut III(born 1041/reigned 1049 to 1096) aged 8, had to deal with reopened wounds in the form of the Englishmen getting uppity again, and after a series of defeats against the rebels, the North Sea Empire was booted off the British Isles, with the exemption of Northumbria, his teen years and coming of age were uneventful, as it was a time of rebuilding. From there, the now 22 year old Cnut III’s ships would sail to and fro, bringing with them trade and money from the Channel and the Baltic and the Mediterranean Seas, with this money 22 year old Cnut III would improve much of his domain, and building motte and bailey castles in Northumbria, and the border with the Holy Roman Empire(all in a period from 1063-1070. At the year 1066, he contested William the Bastard in the claiming of England, Harold of Godwin was quickly beaten by William, who would quickly rush northward to meet Cnut III in battle, in what is known as the Battle of Stamford Bridge, William beat the Norse bloody, and they retreated away to Northumbria, but the Normans quickly followed, in what is known to historians as the Retreat of Cnut, the Norse quickly retreated to sea while the ports were on fire, dooming some of their compatriots to death by Norman. Cnut III would then repair his armies to prepare yet again for another invasion, but for some reason, after finishing up his army, quickly called it off to instead invade Pomeranian tribes nearby in 1074.

This state of affairs held for some time until 1095, where a massive Pomeranian revolt occurred. He took his armies to fight, and beat the rebels hard, but Cnut was severely wounded by a rather large swordsman. He would die a year later. Cnut III the Wise, son of Cnut II Harthacnut, was dead. But he had an heir that was of age, Erik, and succession was smooth, Erik would lose Pomerania early in his reign however.

Not much of importance occurred, with events allowing what is now today to happen occuring, other than Erik III making a castle on the Greenland coast in 1201. The name of the Empire would then shift from North Sea to Danish in this time, but the “Emperors” would only be kings.

There was no colonization in the Age of Colonialism starting at around Columbus’ “discovery” of America(Norse were first!), but the population of Norse in Greenland would exceed that of the native Inuit(cough wars cough diseases). Conversion to Protestanism would go on as usual. A Chancellorship was established around this time, though the Chancellor was named Lawspeaker instead.

Fast forward to the Napoleonic Wars, they still supported Napoleon, but nothing much changed other than the Battle of Trafalgar being a pyrrhic victory for the British due to the presence of the Danes, but in exchange, more than 70% of the combined fleet was either captured or destroyed. The Danish Company also never went bankrupt, so the Danish West Indies stayed in Danish control.

Everything goes as usual, with the exception of a still united Denmark-Norway in 1814, it still remains united due to the oldness of the union, with it dating back all the way to the 11th Century, and still being under the same dynasty, and due to this one circumstance, the Danish Gold Coast was never sold to Britain.. Until 1880, nothing much, other than where Cnut XII would purchase the isles of Corvo and Flores from Portugal. And here we are.
