Interesting. I have this idea that I have in my head and I honestly been looking for any RPs to try it out. Not sure yet if this would be the right place for it?

Shoot it out.

It's rather simple idea but I want to do a town where everyone in it secretly practices things like conjuration, enchantment, witchcraft, and other magical skills. So a town of witches, sorcerers, and occultists. Obviously everyone in the town knows what they practice so the reality is they are hiding from the outside world because they want to practice the mystic arts in peace.

thats pretty cool, a traveler from outside town would find himself in a sort of Children of the Corn esque situation maybe.

Yep. Though even outside of the town you would find some witches and warlocks either living alone or in some little communes, those guys either trusting no one or just a small group who decided to rough it out with each other. So if it isn't something like Children of the Corn than you have something like Baba Yoga or the Wyld Sisters.

So for the witch village or town I will go with the name Thelema for now and have the general area around it be called the Shadow Lands, but of course it has the nickname of Land of Witches. The main terrain around the town is woodlands that are surrounded by moorland with some areas of the moors turning into bogland and fens with vernal pools. The forest itself also has marshy swamps but the grounds of the woods can be tricky as the elevation can rise and fall suddenly and you can sometimes find cliffs in them. There are also caves in the forest and they become important as some caves either house wildlife, monsters, or are used as ritual places and/or homes for witches.

You see despite there being a main settlement I think for some witches and warlocks they would live away from the main settlement. Some choosing to live alone or with a few other mystics they can trust. You can find these people either in those caves or in little huts or hovels on the ground, some living on tree tops Endor style, and some living on slit homes by rivers and streams.

Behind the forest is mountain and valleys and I would see close to the mountain basin are numerous streams and rivers that creates the wetlands and water supply for the witches. Some of the mountain valleys have quagmires.

This is riddled with quest potential I love it

Yep. I should also mention that the Shadowlands isn't just filled with witches and monsters. Criminals, exiles, escaped slaves, prosecuted people, heretics, and other people who are generally outcasts of traditional societies also call the Shadowlands home because it's the only place where they can exist without them being wiped out by a fully organized effort.

Gamers' Imagination

Postby Hamivista » Thu May 04, 2023 8:23 am

Both fantasy fiction enthusiasts' and gamers' imaginations. One of the game's most exciting features is its Brotherhood storyline, in which players assume the role of expert warriors defending their land from the forces of evil. However, it's crucial to keep in mind the real-world responsibilities and challenges faced by many students, including the requirement for Online Exam Help while delving into the lore and intricacies of this epic adventure.
