Erich Honecker sits behind the Officials from Helsinki. He's wearing his DDR Officer's uniform with a pin of the DDR's flag. he cleans his glasses on his tunic and puts them back on.

Aino looks at a Yugoslav official. "Hello. It's a nice day out here, isn't it?" She says, hoping to spark a conversation.

A loudspeaker comes on, announcing the beginning of the Military March:

"Guten Nachmittag Große Bürger der DDR und ausländische Führer aus der ganzen Welt kommen hierher, um den 114. Jahrestag des Kommunistischen Manifests zu feiern. Die Nationale Volksarmee ist heute hier, um auch den Anlass zu feiern."
"Good Afternoon Great Citizens of the DDR and foreign leaders from across the world coming here to celebrate the 114th Anniversary of the Communist Manifesto. The Nationale Volksarmee is here today to also commemorate the occasion."

The sounds of Drums can be heard down the road, On the sidewalks, the NVA's Musicians prepare to play.

Aino cocks her head attentively, as Mikaeles becomes more and more engrossed in the military.

As the bands blare music in the background, an helicopter adorned in the paint scheme of the government of the Mountain ASSR hovers in to a landing. Hurriedly, a stout old man in a military uniform and a pair of bodyguards take their places among the crowd.

"Barely made it... damn mountain weather!" President Jakob Luganov sighs, taking his seat in the special box, medals from his time in the Soviet Army shinning on his breast.

The loudspeaker Comes on again:

"Während die Bodentruppen weitermarschieren, kommen unsere gepanzerten Kräfte, die zum Sieg des Sozialismus rollt."
"As the ground forces march on, here come our armored forces, rolling to victory for Socialism."

The rolling of armored vehicles as loud as the roar of thunder come down the road, BTRs would roll down the road.

Aino watches, feeling out of place as the only female with a military uniform. She smiles at Jacob Luganov.
"Hello, president Luganov." She says.

Assuming we're talking about the Communist Manifesto IRL, it was published 170 years ago in 1848, not 114 years ago in 1914.
Regardless, my leader (not in attendence, but publicly) cannot help but to make side-comments detrimental to Communism's dignity. Though he acknowledges and applauds the openess of these nationd, he's still dismayed by the "celebration of two lazy guys hoping to leech money off of the government".
And if we're still talking about RL, he makes light of the Winter War of 1940.

I mean, you could've TG'd me this, but in this (RPish?) year it's 1961. Not 2018. But please delete this afterwards. Thanks.

The Parade continues, the roaring of tank engines still roar throughout East Berlin. Coming down the road, are troop carrying BTRs, Tanks, Artillery Towing BTRs, Tank Destroyers, And theatre defence with a lead BTR waving the Regimental Flag. Honecker stands to salute the armed forces. People in the crowd across from the leader's box are waving flags of all the invited countries. The lead BTR is now between of the Civilian Section and the Leader section. The loudspeaker Comes on again:
"Wie wir hier sehen können, sind unsere gepanzerten Streitkräfte stark mit den Waffen der Sowjets und unsere eigenen, die zu unseren Streitkräften gehören, machen uns stärker als der Westen!"
"As we can see here, our armored forces are strong with the weapons of the Soviets, and our own belonging to our forces make us stronger than the West!" The engines roar louder and louder as they approach

Mikaeles was busy at work, explaining all of the military to Aino and Sauli, who were both staring. "I feel like I'm back in Rauracy, Sauli. There was the best parade there..." Aino starts to say.

The column of Armored Vehicles ends as they take a turn on the corner, then the members of the choir and other band members March towards the center of the road, the conductor is at the lead, guiding them with the marching "Eins!" "Zwei! "Eins!" "Zwei!" He would say until his band and choir would be centered. The conductor spins around and raises his scepter. The band begins to play and the choir starts to sing the NVA Military song called Monika. After they would finish, they would go on to sing Der offene Aufmarsch. Once the choir finished that song, the intermission would begin.
