Hey, Sterkistan, you sound angry. Don't be angry, okay? If you're upset that no one responded to you, just be aware, despite how it may seem, I am not here 24/7. When I am around, and this goes for everybody, I do my best to respond immediately. (If I don't respond immediately, it usually means I'm in the middle of writing a post.)

And yes, you should probably wait until Auphelia gets something up.

Ubu's it as far as League of Shadows. And I just didn't add him to be an a-hole. Story-wise, it makes absolute sense that Ra's would send his most loyal servant to safeguard something as valuable as the case. And yes, there's gonna be other heroes and maybe other villains but more likely than not, they'll be fighting the League so it Riddler and Merry keep their wits about them, they should be able to use that to their advantage.

Yeah, I am not upset and completely understand Ubu, I just don't want a "Suddenly the entire GCDP surrounds the docks and captures all the characters" or a "Suddenly Batgirl shows up and defeats everyone"

So my app is taking a long time, and so i'd just like to ask:
1. We're allowed more than one character, right?
2. Are we allowed to control NPCs?
3. I want to make my faction a global-wide spanning criminal empire that wants to expand into Gotham, will that be a problem?

Well Batgirl is at least preoccupied with another villain, so we're in the clear on that.

No, I would never do that. I know a lot of other people play like that but not me. And if you ever think that's what I'm doing or if that's what I'm doing inadvertently, feel free to say, "Brainy, knock it off!"

Hey Warglorian! Sorry your app is taking a long time. Ya know, it doesn't have to be War and Peace. And to answer your questions:

1. Eventually. For players just joining the story, I'm restricting it to one because I wanna see how you rp and I also wanna know you're committed to the story.
2. Only if it makes sense for your character to be controlling them. For example, if you're a supervillain, you can control NPC henchmen. If you're the CEO of a company, NPC employees would be under your control. But you can't be a villain and control NPC cops for instance. If, for instance, a cop or civie is part of your blackmail scheme, I might let you control them but that would be on a case-by-case basis and you'd have to run it by me first.
3. That fine. I don't have a problem with that but Gotham's heroes and villains might.

I have just been in cases like that with other GMs, players, and Admins that I am sort of paranoid about it.

Rant:
This one admin metagamed so hard by having their character (who didn't have any posts up until this point) suddenly be in the room the main storyline was in, before being knocked out by the player characters with their superpowers, and then because it didn't go how they "wanted it to go" they metagamed further by having their character suddenly wake up from being unconscious one post later and doled out instant punishment to the characters, refusing to even have the plot line actually finish with a "it was resolved off screen" solution. (Then the player base dropped and the admin became even more controlling about the plot line that it just died due to "the players not playing")

Yeah, I've been in situations like that and it sucks so I know where you're coming from. Yeah, that's not me. And if you ever feel like I'm getting like that, getting mad with the power, mwahahaha (sorry), just tell me to knock it off.
