Name/Alias: Bane (real name unknown)
Age: Around 55
Gender: Male
Appearance: Image

Personality: Cold, calculating and cruel. Bane is level headed, and strategic. He has been hardened to the ways of the world and does not hesitate to use force while achieving his goals. He is incredibly smart, having a near genius level intellect. He is incredibly charismatic and persuasive, as well as being incredibly driven, determined to accomplish what he sets out to do. However, when on massive amounts of his signature Venom, his personality turns around completely. He flies into a murderous and blind rage, acting more beast than man.
Faction: Doesn’t belong to one.
Affiliation: Himself
Race: Human
Backstory: Banes past is a mysterious one, shrouded in secrecy by Bane himself. What is known was that he was born into his own fathers life sentence. Bane spent his childhood in prison, where he was hardened, and tempered by the cruelty of stone walls and iron bars. In his jail time, Bane trained his body and mind, in order to survive the horrid conditions. Obtaining as many books as he could read at one time, exercising his body into peak condition, and even receiving a formal education from the priest within the prison. And then came the day where his life was changed forever. After participation in some prison scale riot, Bane was picked out from the crowd for fulfillment of a cruel purpose. He was subjected to the testing of a drug called venom, which sharpened his bodies capabilities to superhuman levels. All at the temporary cost of brain power. Soon after the initial experimentation, he broke out of the lab where the Venom was kept, and, taking all the Venom with him, he escapes the cruel world of stone that he was trapped in for so long. For 20 years, he lurked in the shadows, until one day, he heard of a bat. A bat that lurked among the streets of Gotham, a vile beast in the opinion of some, a man with a sick sense of justice going about and roughing people up. This was when Bane finally had a new goal. To kill the bat, the beast who matters such as justice into their own hands as he did. Years later, as he arrived in Gotham after years of preparing, he hears that the bat has vanished. And so he plotted, for a month he waited. Now, he is prepared to emerge forth, and bring the Batman to him. “Whomever the bat is, whomever he once was, whatever he will be, I will find him, and break him.
Powers/Weapons/Tech: Venom Usage: He utilizes the super-steroid known as Venom to enhance his own physical attributes to superhuman levels, namely his strength, durability, speed, and endurance.

Superhuman Strength: The primary effect of the Venom drug is that it enhances his strength to low superhuman levels depending on how much is injected into him. At the maximum healthy amount he can inject into himself, he is able to lift around 3-4 tons. He is ultimately capable of exceeding this limit and be able to lift over 4 tons, though not without momentarily losing his sanity.
Superhuman Speed/Reflexes: His speed and reflexes are also
superhuman with Venom, making him able to run, move, and react beyond the limits of the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Endurance/Stamina/Durability: With the use of Venom, his stamina and endurance is greatly enhanced. His durability is heightened sufficiently to shrug off most blunt force trauma, yet he is not completely bulletproof. He can withstand blows from most superhumans, withstand falls from great heights, and possibly more.
Superhuman Healing: He can also use Venom as a type of medicine that can heal him from most injury, poison, wound, infection, and disease.

Genius-Level Intellect: He possesses a genius-level intellect. Pretty simple.

Eidetic Memory: He has an eidetic memory, which borders on almost total recall. This enables him to memorize virtually anything.
Polymath: He is exceptionally knowledgeable in various subjects including various Sciences, History, Geology, Medicine, and several others.
Polylingual: He is able to speak fluent Spanish, German, French, Russian, Mandarin, English, Urdu, Farsi, and Latin.
Escapologist: He is surpassed only by Batman, Nightwing, and Mister Miracle in the art of escape and infiltration.

Hand to Hand Combatant: He is a formidable hand to hand combatant, able to hold his own against Batman and Ra's Al Ghul. He is not only a master, but has created several fighting styles. Bane's fighting ability combined with his peak strength and endurance make him a highly formidable and dangerous opponent for any non-meta and many metahuman foes.

Expert Strategist: He is highly devious and a highly gifted strategist and tactician.

Peak of Human Physical Condition: Even without Venom, his strength and physique is at its peak and is slightly superior to the likes of Batman or other athletes.

Physical Strength: Even without Venom, Bane is shown to still be stronger than Batman, able to lift/press approximately 1,500 lbs. Without Venom, Bane has proven capable of breaking Killer Croc's bones and standing toe-to-toe with other superhumans. He has also performed feats such as snapping steel cables that were used to shackle him, and denting and deforming an iron gate after punching it off of its hinges.
Speed: Despite his heavily muscled appearance, Bane is shown to be a surprisingly fast runner, as he's been shown to be able to keep up with the more slender member of the Secret Six with ease.
Durability: Even without the Venom drug, Bane has proven to be phenomenally durable. Examples include shrugging off bullets to the shoulder and other areas, and withstanding the torture of having numerous bricks thrown at all areas of his body.

Weaknesses:
-Venom Withdrawal: Venom, just like any drug, can become addicting, and without it, Bane begins to suffer from withdrawal symptoms.
Skills:
-Hand to hand combat
-Strategy
-Several sciences
-Multilingual
RP Examples: *Monolouges about how I’ve done the Elias gag too many times then breaks RP samples over knee*
Extra Information
Day Job: None
Living place: An abandoned apartment in Crime Alley
Voice Actor: Travis Willingham (He played Heretic in Batman: Bad Blood. Scroll down and you’ll find that sound bit. Is fucking great)
Likes/Dislikes:
Dislikes: Bats
Theme Song: Hans Zimmer is fucking amazing.
Did you read the rules? *Breaks rules over knee*

He’s committed a number of crimes before arriving in Gotham under different aliases and using different outfits. He chose Bane in particular because he is to be the “Bane of Batman” as in the thing that shall be Batman’s weakness and eventual demise

Well, when you’re continually pumping green superhuman juice into your veins that overall increases your overall physical capabilities and all that shit, does age really matter?

To be fair, Batman will be a lot older also. If Dick was adopted at the age of 8 in his app, and is 28 now, and Bruce starts being Batman at 25, then you're putting him at about 47. Need to add in those couple of years solo. Personally I prefer him being twelve like in all-star Batman and Robin, which if we fiddle slightly with then I'd place Bruce at 43.

Because her powers work best on stronger willed people, but the Question has the ability of "Indominable Will" (because he is the poor man's Batman) due to his unbreaking strength in his convictions and abilities when being tortured and whatnot.

I don't know, I'll reverse that question back at you: could she? It's your character. My intention, when making it, was that the very very very strongest characters like Batman would still be able to resist, but it's a tiny number and she should be able to control most characters given the chance. Up to you. If you like, when she's being trained, Question could have her try and do it to him on purpose as a test to find out.

Yes, I remember that discussion, and considering Brainy's point as OP, straight up control is out of the option. I would like to present two options though, and you can choose.

A) It doesn't affect him at all and her powers are useless on him.
Or
B) It can work to use to influence him to some extent. Say that there are two plans to take out the bad guy, and the Question is being indecisive, but Control Freak really wants to do the second plan, she can use her powers to help the Question choose the one she wants, it wouldn't influence him to do bad or stupid things like jump off of a cliff.

Voting in the poll....

1. Tim’s the best hero in my opinion. He’s clearly not as good at the job as he once used to be, because he’s finding it hard to cope with the leadership position. It’s interesting to see what happens to an otherwise excellent Robin when his mentor leaves him.
2. Harley Quinn is very unique and not completely villainous which I like.
3. I liked the interaction between Harley and Babs.
4. Cooper is the most hilarious part of this RP.
5. Best fight (even if it wasn’t really a fight) was when a demonic dog blew up Wayne Tower.
6. Obviously learning that Damian was paralyzed was very shocking for my character and I think it affected everyone in the RP.

And I really want to see a Huntress/Helena Wayne Robin added. That’ll complete the list of Robins in the DC extended universe. It’ll be a Robin-fest!

If Bruce is 43, then 15-year old Damian (like it says in his app) would have been born when Batman was around 28. That sounds too early in Batman’s career for him to have developed a relationship with or even have met Talia. If Bats is 47 then Damian would have been born when Bruce was 32, which makes a lot more sense.

Villain APP:
Name/Alias: Jakob Helsing
Age: Around 2,000 years old (Though physically he’s about 27)
Gender: Male
Appearance:Image
Personality: Level-headed, calm, scholarly, and rather eccentric. Having spent over 700 years in some form of hibernation, he is incredibly curious about the world and how it’s changed in the time he’s been gone. He is rather secretive about his past, and generally quite mysterious. He has a kind heart, though, he is quite inconsistent by nature, constant shifting in his moods, intentions, and moral alignment. He is also entirely aware of his vampiric curse, aware of his consistent need of mortal blood in order to survive. This makes him quite the risk to be around, as you can never predict when his thirst becomes too great to resist. Due to the risk he poses, he isolates himself from society to protect the public from the constant blood hunger.
Faction: None
Affiliation: None
Race: Vampire
Backstory: Jakob was born in roughly 18 AD (I know, he’s pretty damn old.), on the island that would come to be England. He was alive during the Roman conquest of the region, and served as a Roman soldier for a short time, before receiving a somewhat crippling knee injury in battle. For a year more, he lived his normal life, a carefree man. And then, came the day his life was forever changed. One night, late into dark, he was assaulted in his own home by an inhuman attacker. The beast bit his neck, and forever more, the carefree young man was no more. He was forcibly changed. He grew long and sharp fangs, his hair turned pure white, his eyes an iridescent red. He was no longer mortal. He was a beast beyond the comprehension of man. He was feared by all, thought to be God incarnate. He took the lives of many in order satisfy a constant hunger. The corpses he left in his wake frightened many. Many tried to kill him, with no success. He lived through the rise and fall of the great Roman Empire in the manner, the rise and fall of kings, the darkest ages of man, the rebirth of society, and thought, and literature. And then one day, he realized it was all for nought. He could never die, and he would outlive all he knew, and kill some for his own survival. He had grown intelligent, and powerful, beyond any mortal, and yet... what was the point of his existence. He could never complete the journey of life, for he could not die. He could never witness the final adventure of man. He could and do everything a man could in several lifetimes, except witness the end of it all. He sunk into a deep, ceaseless depression, collapsing in on himself, refusing to indulge his vampiric hunger. He fell into a hibernation, from which he did come out of for nigh on 600 years. He awoke from his slumber in the early 1900’s. He moved to Gotham from his resting place in London, and started a small retail business just before they start of WWI. He began designing his own clothes and selling them in his store due to the Great Depression that came soon after the war. These clothes became rapidly popular due to lower price and excellent make, and soon he became the prevailing brand in Gotham. As the economy grew, so did his business, and soon his brand spread outward from Gotham, becoming a increasingly popular product across the U.S., and soon to become a global craze. He bought a house in the Gotham countryside, and there he has lived for the past 100 years. He isolated himself from society, leaving his house only once and a while to hunt. He left a business partner in charge of his brand (though he still receives most of the profits he generates), and he has remained within Helsing manor for the past year or so, only ever leaving once or twice a month to hunt his full in the east end of Gotham.
Powers/Weapons/Tech:
Abilities
-Vampiric Capabilities: Jakob has enhanced physical abilities, like speed, strength, physical endurance, durability, reflex speed, hand eye coordination, etc. He can lift 300 lbs, run fast enough to outspeed a motorcycle, shake off the force of being hit by semi trailer truck. In addition to this, he is entirely incapable of dying due to age, and can regenerate damage from wounds inflicted.
-Shapeshifting: Jakob can change his form into various animals he has studied over the centuries. In order to shift into a chosen animal, he must be able to visualize and recall the physiology of what he wants to shift into.
-A massive white wolf
-An albino raven
-White rabbit
-A salamander
-Blood magic: Jakob can cast blood magic, a supernatural energy drawn from mortal blood that allows Jakob to perform multiple abilities. These include:
-Blood talon: Jakob can shoot out spikes of blood red energy at extreme speeds that impale victims.
-Shadow manipulation: Jakob can manipulate his own shadow in order to use it for a variety of long and short ranged attacks, depending on how far the shadow can stretch in a given area with given lighting.
-Blood drain: Consumption of blood gives Jakob strength, as well as allowing him to cast blood magic. He drains blood via his fangs. He can also consume blood after it has left the body, thus why he carries his knives and rapier. Direct consumption of blood does not always lead to death on the part of the mortal.
-Vampirization: Jakob can turn other people into vampires by performing the inverse of the blood drain, injecting his own blood into peoples veins via his fangs.
-Minor psychics abilities: Jakob can erase any memory of himself performing his vampiric acts. He cannot erase memories that do not pertain to him.
-Minor necromancy: Jakob can perform vampirization on corpses, allowing them to come back to life as near mindless zombies for up to 24 hours. These zombies can take orders and are deadly in large groups. They can be killed via decapitation it severe head trauma of any sort, as they do still need their lower brain functions to operate.
Equipment
-Rapier: Jakob always carried an intricately made, thin, double edged edged sword that he uses in combat to draw blood from opponents in order to use blood abilities
-Knives (You know this is a motherfucking JoJo reference): Jakob carries a set of knives in him for long distance attacks.
Weaknesses:
-Blood Hunger: Jakob will die if he goes too long without the consumption of blood, or so he believes.
-Sunlight: Jakob does not die if he enters direct contact with sunlight as people believe vampires do. Instead, it simply weakens him to the point of human standards, taking away his regeneration, durability, strength, speed, etc. He also has an intense phobia of sunlight, or at least being in direct contact with it (this includes UV light as well) as it causes ill symptoms such as coughing up blood, intense nausea, and fatigue.
-Bleeding out: Just like any being, Jakob can die from bleeding out. The mor blood he loses, the less his vampiric abilities have effect.
-Stab through the heart: A direct stab to the heart with any pointed or edged weapon will severely harm Jakob, leaving him incredibly weak, and seemingly disabling his regen, allowing for him to be killed..
-Blood Sickness: Too long without blood, and Jakob will go on a rampage, hunting until he locates a mortal and entirely drains them of blood.
-General Ignorance: Due to having been in some coma for a 700 year time period, and having woken up in the early 1900’s, Jakob is still somewhat ignorant of modern customs and technology.
Skills:
-Scholar: Jakob is a scholar and practioner of many arts. He is an expert in many sciences including biology, chemistry, paleontology, and zoology(thus why he is skilled with his shape shifting). He is also skilled at painting, poetry (and writing in general), speech (writing and reading), and other fine arts.
-Cooking: For not really eating normal food, Jakob is a masterful chef.
-Charisma: Jakob is skilled at convincing people, and has a peculiar way with words that just makes you want to believe him. He is very much a people person.
-Combat: Jakob has spent centuries mastering the art of physical combat, from swords, to knives, to axes, to spears, he can wield practically any weapon without much issue. In addition to this, he has mastered a multitude of unarmed physical combat styles.
RP Examples: I can’t really provide any good RP samples, as I haven’t really been RPing long. Therefore, I’ll write out a sample here if that’s okay
Jakob looked out the window of his manor, and sipped from a piping hot cup of tea. Snow fell in thick sheets in the lawn, coating the trees and the grass and the bushes in a sparkle that was simply dazzling, each little snowflake like a tiny star in a white galaxy. Jakob thought upon he many snowfalls he had seen, too many to count in his lifetime, more than any other living being to be sure. This set Jakob to thought. So long I have been on he face of this earth, far longer than natural. I’ve seen many a person come and many a person go. Many lives I’ve taken to survive myself, and all because why? Because some beast stuck his fangs in me, and made me the beast he was. I question why it must have been me, to be cursed by this, to little avail. Pure unfortunate coincidence? Possibly. He set down his cup on a saucer. Oh well... I suppose there’s no need to senselessly rant to myself, when there is much more I could do with my eternal life. He rose, and left his study, wandering the empty halls of his empty home. He felt a familiar sensation of hunger well within him. It appears I must hunt again...

*Fun fact: Jakob’s original name was not Jakob. It was Callisthenes (Latin for Beautiful and Strong)
*Another, more disturbing fun fact: It’s likely that Jakob has blood ties to more than 25% of the population in Europe due to the many illegitimate children he had with many women of his years.

I actually love both versions so either one would be fine with me. Poor Vic, he misses his girl. ;)

Edit- Sounds good, Meme Land! :)

Age: 53
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Image

Personality: Rough-and-tumble, gruff, smooth talker, tough, greedy.
Faction: GCPD
Affiliation: None
Race: Human
Backstory:
Harvey became a legendary detective in the GCPD at a young age, his big break being when he cracked a case that incriminated a big mob boss. The young cop’s mission became to take down the mob in Gotham City. However, as Harvey started interacting more with the mob, he found himself seduced by the Mafia money. He’s largely responsible for the rampant corruption in the GCPD, which Commissioner Gordon has tried to tackle. Harvey started closely dealing with Carmine Falcone, allowing the mob boss’s criminal empire to grow while Harvey earned himself decent money, and he even gained more fame in the GCPD because Falcone gave him leads on several cases as payment for Harvey’s corruption. Bullock quickly rose in the ranks at the GCPD, although many officers despised his ruthless nature. Soon, Harvey got a younger partner by the name of James Gordon. Harvey initially despised Gordon’s boy-scout nature, juxtaposed with his own rule breaking. But the two men grew to have a respect for one another; Harvey admired Jim for his bravery and ingenuity, and Jim held Harvey in high regards for his detective skills.

Ever since Jim was chosen by the mayor to be Commisioner instead of Harvey, Officer Bullock has been quite jealous of the new Commissioner, his former friend. Of course, Harvey was soon promoted to Chief of Police for his countless successes in cases, largely due to Falcone feeding him information. Still, Harvey feels that Jim robbed him of his fame as Gotham’s best cop. While Jim is a civilian officer as the Commissioner, Harvey still is a boots-on-ground cop. He has not had a great relationship with Batman like Gordon has, since Batman doesn’t trust Harvey, but Chief Bullock and Red Robin share a very special relationship since they’ve often encountered each other on cases. While Robin regards Harvey as a good friend, Harvey can easily betray him if offered enough money. These days, as the Chief of Police, Harvey has tried to be good cop in day-to-day life, although he still pays a blind eye to some crimes if he’s paid enough. While the corruption in the GCPD these days isn’t orchestrated by him, he doesn’t care enough to tackle it. However, he certainly was responsible for the creation of the culture in the GCPD to play slave to Falcone and the mob.

Powers/Weapons/Tech:
- No superpowers
- Carries around a GLOCK 19 handgun.
- He’s very fast despite his age, being very physically fit from all of his encounters with dangerous criminals
- Excellent detective skills for a cop
- Drives a sweet black Audi Q7 SUV
Weaknesses: Offered enough money, he’ll do anything for you. He’s a tough nut to crack, although he gets intimidated when he’s unarmed and forced to fight hand-to-hand.
Skills: He’s a great baker.
