Okay, not sure if Charley is still trying to find her "in" as a superhero but if she is, maybe she overhears either the museum robbery or the Arkham breakout on the police scanner and heads to one of the two to make a name for herself stopping a high profile crime?

Also, did you and Auphelia want there to be a relationship between Charley and Syd and Mary? If you want to take it further, maybe Syd's powers were a result of the same Wayne Enterprises experiment? They were both test subjects and that's how they know one another?

I stand corrected. So, instead of getting super smart, she should have gotten the proportionate strength of a mouse and the ability to run through a maze really fast!
