Bane's attacking Wayne Manor, what else do you need to know? Just be aware, if Fah fights Bane, he's going to get his ass kicked big-time. Bane needs to win and win big for the larger story arc. There's a couple wounded cops inside that Fah might be able to help get to safety though. Last week was slow, so reading the last page and a half of posts ought to get you all caught up. Also, the cops pretty much fall under Fronket's control now because Harvey's commish so let them determine how the GCPD is gonna handle the situation. And Spidey-Sense- Yes? No? Did you decide anything further about it?

As for Fah's "spidey-sense", I have given it a bit more thought. Because of his training, Fah's reflexes and sensory perception are extremely sharp. I'm thinking twice about him being able to catch a bullet, but as for objects about as fast as full-drawn arrows, he can deflect them with relative ease. He trains very intensively and his skills expand frequently, so this could change in the future. Does this sound fine?

Yeah, no, he's not catching bullets. I don't care how much he trains. This isn't Clark Kent in the alleyway. :lol:

And I'm a little leery about the "with relative ease" part of him being able to deflect arrows and such. Also, leery about his skills/powers expanding frequently as that's very much leading into OP territory. I'm willing to play this by ear for now, just be aware that you might have to edit your fights if I feel he's acting OP.

Ok I’m back. Had some RL issues, sorry for the absence. Right now carrie is down in the cave. I was considering making her blow up the Batcave and escape so that the police can’t get proof of Batman’s identity, and also so she doesn’t eventually get arrested by GCPD. I know destroying the Batcave would be a dramatic turn of events but would that be ok?

It may be too late for that. The police already enter the manor and got beat by Bane, who also knows Batman’s identity now.

Alright, i'm gonna work on a post. When I left off, Arkham was burning, the Historian threw someone out of a helicopter, and Kapa had just attacked a pair of security guards at the power station. One of them got away, so there is a witness to what happened. I'll be writing under the assumption that Kapa has kept a low profile since those events, feeding mostly off of the city's power grid. Is that all fine, Brainy?

Secret Base: Their base of operations isn't secret at all. In fact, it's about thirty stories tall and located in Central Heights, Downtown. However, there is a large, hidden complex beneath the main building which houses the experiments and technology that is kept secret.

Goals: Profit first and foremost. They are also looking to undermine Wayne Enterprises by any means necessary to solidify their place as the most powerful, successful company in Gotham.

History: Madrigal-Haut was founded in Gotham in 1954 by Robert Madrigal and Franklin Haut. Robert was an American scientist who had worked closely with the military on the top secret Manhattan Project, while Franklin was a German born engineer who was rumored to have had ties with the Nazi party, though such claims were never proven. The company mainly developed computer technology at first, but later on began producing commercial solar cells, jet engines, and some of the first microchips. Franklin Haut died under mysterious circumstances in 1965.

By 1970, Madrigal-Haut was one of the leading tech companies in the United States and Europe. By this time, they were contracted by the US government to produce napalm and other chemicals for use in the Vietnam War. The company lobbied heavily for prolonged occupation of Vietnam, and profits declined significantly after the war came to an end.

After Robert's death in 1986, the company passed on to Dominic Madrigal, his only son. The company saw significant success with the advent of the personal computer during the '80s, but primarily developed both hardware and software for the military. Today, they are a leading innovator in both weapons and computer technology, though they have since distanced themselves from the government. Instead, they manufacture advanced weaponry for private military contractors overseas. Dominic has also recruited for his own personal "security force", who operate out of their building in Central Heights.

Made the requested edits. I’m imagining Oliver as a tired grumpy old man, much older than Batman in this universe. He really has no intent to fill in Batman’s shoes, and probably won’t do any heroic antics unless approached by Batman to fight Bane.

Oliver’s lifestyle was not dissimilar to that of Bruce Wayne’s, although he is about 15 years older than Batman. The young heir to the Queen family wealth showed a particular passion for archery. One day, Oliver’s parents were mauled by lions while Oliver was hunting in Africa’s grasslands with them. Oliver’s failure to shoot the animal made his parent’s death possible. The young boy vowed to never fail to shoot again. Oliver grew into a rich, thrill-seeking, and drunken playboy with no real sense of responsibility or direction in his life. Everything changed when he fell off his boat in the middle of the ocean and got stranded on a lonely island. Carving himself a bow and arrow, Oliver had to learn to survive on the island by hunting wild animals. Having nothing else to do, the hunting experience hardened him and helped him grow into a self-reliant man, and it also helped him develop the valuable skills he would need later to become a hero. When drug smugglers arrived in the island nd transformed it into their secret base, Oliver took it upon himself to take down their operation. Oliver fought them off using his newly acquired skills, and stole their boat to deliver the criminals to the authorities. Thus he became the famous hooded vigilante of Star City, the Green Arrow. Oliver would soon gain extreme fame in the superhero community as a main member of the Justice League. After starting a family with his younger wife Black Canary, Oliver left the Justice League to lead a quieter life as a solo vigilante in Star City.

After seeing multiple young superhero become seriously crippled in battle, Oliver became seriosuky disillusioned with superheroism and so he began taking a hardline stance against vigilantism. He gave up the Green Arrow mantle, instead spending his vast amount of wealth on charity and helping local governments to beef up law enforcement and get irresponsible and unready vigilantes off the streets. When Oliver learned that Gotham was becoming home to as many young heroes as dangerous villains, he moved from Star City to Gotham to shut down the vigilantes there. With his laser sharp vision, he helped alert cops to the locations of several masked heroes and villains, who usually landed up in jail or a rehab center if Oliver had a say. When the Gotham mayoral administration began taking a really tough stance on vigilantes, old man Oliver has become their media poster boy for their hero policy, giving interviews about why he is against vigilantism. However, he is also concerned about the new threat Bane and is angered that the GCPD refuses to find the man. However, Oliver keeps these feelings bottled up.

Eventually, he’ll probably reluctantly get involved in the fight against Bane, if Batman approaches him for his help.

Weaknesses: In his old age, Oliver’s hands sometimes quiver uncontrollably, which can be problematic when he’s shooting arrows. He’s also not as fast and agile as he used to be; he can run, but he can’t do flips or climb buildings, which he used to do quite easily.

Ok folks I’m finally back! I never thought I’d actually be back but I just enjoy this too much. I did whatever catching up I could, so I think I’ve got the gist of things...

Gotham hates superheroes now, Bane is trying to break everyone until he breaks the Bat, and the mayor is dead. Did I get everything? Now I just need to figure out how Damian fits into all of this. How long has he been in a coma in the RP? It’s been almost a month in RL.

Well, the question of who really killed the mayor might be something for Vic to look into. At the very least, it should make an interesting topic of discussion for his radio show.

Edit- Because I'm guessing a lot of people in Gotham (and not just the conspiracy kooks) aren't buying that it was Batman.
