Anywho, who wants Demise after we make sure balancing and stuff is all good

Actually, how does a Loroi Sage compare to an Angel? I ask, because considering what Valkyrie does.... even assuming Demise in life, at his peak was only 10% as strong as a sage, those kind of stacked amplifiers would easily blast past a Sage's level of strength, based on my current knowledge. 10%, of course, i am using as a generous low ball estimate. Demise's specialty was amplification magic, meaning his whole thing was punching waaaaaay above his weight class.

My new concern here is that Valkyrie is perhaps a bit too accurate a name? With everything involved i'm actually coming to think it's a bundled Amplification/Transformation spell that temporarily makes you an Angel of some sort.
If this is the case, i view 2 possibilities, either i just have to change it because that's holy shit too much which is fine. Or, if it isn't, then the backstory for the spell will involve two special magic items, namely similar looking orb thingies, one from a Demon and the other an Angel, containing magic from them specifically, which then has Demise's mana channeled through to activate it and apply the amplifiers causing the transformation into a thing that would now look like a spooky cross between a Demon and an Angel.

Am i good then? I just wanna be extra sure because now that i put numbers on it, it's alot more clear what it is.

Because at this point it feels like combined with a powerful Master that Demise could fight Cherubim's, and the Cherubim would be at the disadvantage in that. Actually, i'd go as far as saying that even a Seraphim would have trouble getting a 50/50. The Seraph would be far more powerful, but, i imagine that unless Angels and Demons are in everpresent war and somehow one of the managed to live as long as Demise has been around, that only the Gods of War themselves would be better at killing people.

I have a bad past of intentionally and unintentionally going way too far when designing characters, it's probably annoying at this point, but i'm trying to make sure i stop doing that, even though at best this is "Pushing it." it is a start for me if it's ok the first time.

Yes, we're going to have to put a limit on how much relics can amplify a mortal's powers too. Both because of lore constraints and power issues. I'll respond to your earlier post about it tomorrow, but while in theory, relics would be strong enough to take on angels or deities, one of their imperfections is that they simply can't do it with mortal masters.


One thing that I'd have to mention though, is that all relics have nearly the same age, plus or minus a few years, so there can easily be other relics who are just as good as Demise at killing things.

And angels, gods, and deities are generally out of the level of the mortals because their magic is a lot more powerful. And there are certainly some angels and demons with a lot of experience.
