You know Walpurgis is exactly what I had in mind when I referred to the Witches' Night in Zorya's bio. Just saying it because I saw it in Carmilla's app.
Walpurgisnacht, anyo--

Speaking of witches, what you said reminded me of Madoka lol, wherein the final witch was also called Walpurgis Night. It's a pretty common term when it comes to the darker elements in fantasy from what I've seen. :p
I platonically love you for bringing this up. :D

What is their immigration policy btw? Just asking for a friend of course. ;)

Like Exil said, they pretty much accept everyone who manages to get there.

However, they have some tiny special Loroi relics with can generally tell if people have good or bad intentions, and those with bad intentions are not allowed in Arghyo proper :P
*pushes Alina forwards* Can hide plz?

I just realized they'd totally let Mireille in, 'cause it's not like she has bad intentions. It's just that things always end up going badly anyway. XD

That's a strong reaction lol. I didn't make it past the second episode myself when it aired, but it was more because the characters seemed pretty generic to me than anything else. It would have actually been cool if they managed to get the licenses to characters from other anime series, then it would have been more the Avengers/Ready Player One style crossover it was going for.

I want to slowly and deliciously kill the entire Madoka cast just from looking at them without even having seen their show.

So yeah, quite an accomplishment for Darlin in the Franxxxxxxxxxx to let me get till episode 11 and no one is completely and absurdly hated by me yet.
If that's what you want to happen to the Madoka cast, you need to watch the actual show, my friend. You'll love it!

However, since unicorns are intelligent, magical creatures, only some of Duivene's knights are able to have a bond with one. It is said that in the distant past, when Duivene was still powerful and pure, nearly all of its forces were like that, but that time is long gone.

Vaguely. I have something in mind for Duivene. I was thinking that, now that Eric is about to receive at least a partial pardon, he would try to recover his former titles, he could easily fall right in the middle of the conflict between a part of the nobility and the Seneschal.

I am technically the one in charge of the Seneschal's faction, but however, as I am already heavily involved in Velikiya, Wyzkia, and Achisia, I don't think that I'll be able to properly control them, which is why I was thinking about delegating that plot to some players.

Definitely. Technically he's still a General of a Kartaran faction and a man with two reputations. In Duivene he is a traitor but to a Kartaran clan he is somewhat of a hero. So yes, he probably will be the source of some commotion in the Duivenian courts, even more due to his opinions about the Church and the Inquisition.

And yes, that plot could use more players. I think Charli could play some highly hypocritical nobles with a tendency to kill heretics, or maybe an old ally of Fandral Eric.
Well, my only current noble NPC is Wyzkian, but I could cook up a few more. Maybe steal images from Code Geass, it's been a while since I got to use Cornelia.

I could do both! ^-^

Character Application

Name: Gideon Half-Elven, Gideon of Achisia
Age: 57
Gender:[/b ]Male
[b]Sexual Orientation:
Not interested.
Race: Human/Elf Hybrid
Appearance: Image
5'11, approximately 145 lbs. Gideon looks about fifteen years younger than he actually is.

Position/Status/Affiliation: Outcast. Wanderer. Scholar. Gideon never stays in one place for long. He is a skilled cartographer, translator, and historian by trade. Will occasionally forge documents for the right price.
Skills/Powers//Magic: Oath magic. As a warrior may sit down nightly to lovingly hone and polish a fine blade, so has Gideon spent his life training his mind to wield that eldritch energy that flows through every being. Having detached himself from material joys and earthly pleasures he has become a conduit between that which is seen and that which is unseen, able to channel the raw power of the primeval. He seeks to master the power of the ancients, that old magic that could drive a man insane and destroy his body. To what end is known only to Gideon.
Equipment: Parchment. Ink. Quill. Spotlight lantern. Oil. Rope (50 ft). Traveling robes. Worn leather boots. Fine shoes. Silk robes. Tomes. Scrolls. Wineskin. Tinderbox. Ornate dagger. Sigil. Pipe. Tobacco. Incense. Spell components.

Personality: Driven. Condescending. Secretive. He is loyal to no one and no thing, but he always pays his debts and keeps his promises. Feels superior to others, and feels an affinity to the dwarves more than to either of his progenitor's races.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic neutral.

Biography: Gideon's father was one of the Children of the Sun, of an ancient line even by Vorian standards. He kept many slaves. One of these slaves was Gideon's mother. He knew neither. Before her pregnancy could be discovered, she was able to escape. This is quite a tale in itself, but altogether irrelevant. Gideon was later born in Arghyos. His mother gave the boy to her sister and disappeared from his life forever.

The woman who raised him, a human named Majira Caros, was kind but strict. He was given chores and lessons daily. When he was not dusting shelves or tending the garden, he studied history. When he wasn't gathering components for her spells or tending to Majira in her laboratory, Gideon learned of politics and the geography that shaped his world.

As he grew older, Majira taught him to meditate upon the mysteries of mana and it's many uses. She eventually took Gideon as her apprentice after he demonstrated his aptitude and natural inclination towards the arcane arts and other pursuits of the mind.

He left Arghyos on a journey to Achisia, which was prospering. Here he further studied magic and becamr associated with several different academies. Gideon witnessed the decline of Achisia into darkness firsthand. By the time he was a master of the Oath, Achisia was marching on the other realms of men, and he left, wanting no part in the wars to come.

Gideon returned to Arghyos. Majira had passed during his time away and left him as the sole beneficiary of her will, which included the estate he had grown up in as well as a small inheritance. When Achisia fell, Gideon left again to study the darkness that had taken hold of the once shining empire, determined to find a link between the Shadow, the Blight, and the ruin of Achisia.

Goals: Mastering of the arcane arts. Exploration of the Shadow. Immortality.
Theme Song: Right in Two

On an unrelated note, I am slightly worried about my pyromania since I am just sitting around lighting matches. I always liked the smell of them. :D

There's still a bit of planning to be done in OOC, so it should give you time to work on your app too.

Trace will let us know when he's ready to go. :)

Totally fair, man. I love the smell of smoke. Also fire is cool, did a ten-page research paper on it last year. Fun times. Too bad I didn't get to do any hands-on research.

One day, I spent the whole day in my room with a lighter, matches, and paper. I’m not allowed anywhere near two of three of these things now.

But the Fourth of July is my favorite time of the year! (minus Christmas that is) Plus I am perfectly fine with fire safety.

Granted there was the time I lit a firecracker while I was holding it (threw it away before it popped), and the time I pointed a roman candle at the tree across the street (don't worry it didn't catch on fire), or the time me and neighbor would light fires in her backyard and throw random things into it (I was 9 or 10 if I recall right).

Beyond those extreme exceptions, I am perfectly capable of handling fire!

Relic App

Names: Iris
Type: Iris could be considered cursed, as those who enter contracts with her always gain great power, fame, and fortune, but always suffer a miserable, painful end.
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: While Iris does not like to associate with humans, it could be said that she is likely heterosexual
Race: Human, though sometimes she appears as a Loroi
Form as an object: Iris most often takes the form of a simple, plain, barebones katana katana, though she will change form into a beautiful, intricate katana if she deems her wielder worthy of her full potential.
Form as a being: Iris most often appears as a beautiful young woman with long black hair of either the human or loroi race
Appearance: Image Image

Position/Status/Affiliation: Iris currently holds no contract with anyone. Rather she just wanders the land of Anselm, though she is frequently tracked down by members of the sixteen scriptures, specifically the scriptures of the evening star, due to her ability to easily slay monsters.
Skills/Powers//Magic: Not only is Iris a well made sword in her regular relic form, she also has the ability to slay demons and most monsters more efficiently. Her blade is sharp enough to slash through a dragons scales, and her edge can be enchanted to instantly slay unholy beings such as demons, creatures brought forth by methods of necromancy, vampires, and spirits. She also brings her user great fortune throughout their time wielding her in battle.

Personality: Iris is quiet, polite, courteous, and oftentimes overly formal, even to the point of coming off as cold and unfriendly. She is mistrustful of most sentient beings, and prefers to keep away from those who would want to form contracts with her. Though she has a very long fuse, when she gets pissed off, it’s not very pretty, and those who typically do piss her off don’t usualy have the tongue required to tell the tale.
Moral Alignment: Depends on who she’s in a contract with
History: Iris has had exactly five contracts that she can remember. They all ended in the death of the mortal who made a contract with her. Iris has a constant streak of bad luck, in which the people who wield her always die in painful, horrid ways. The most devastating loss was when she fell in love with one of the men she held a contract with. He died in battle wielding her, and she was forced to bear witness to his death, being unable to move of her own accord due to her want to keep her identity as a relic hidden.
Goals: Iris’s goals are the goals of her wielder
Theme Song:(Optional, a song could be nice, but many people don't like it.)

Uh, do you usually levitate firecrackers before you with telekinesis to light them?

What is NS Summer...what? I am usually a very ill informed person.

Well, I've ended up with a new character idea I've made a draft of, and it's not the previous ones I mentioned in the old thread (the vampire and the knight). Lunas decided to revive his Fate RP, so I might use Astolfo there again. Though I have also thought about making a master instead.

As for the character idea I've came up with for this RP, it's basically an undead trap necromancer/shapeshifter that may also be host to some sort of monstrous entity.

Lunas is reviving the Fate RP?

I'm not sure if I'll have the time for it, but I certainly want to join it xD

As for this RP, your character idea sounds really nice, and not just because it would be a trap :P
