I dunno what Xenoblade is. They remind me of Valkyrie Drive, though. Girls that turn into weapons! except, uh, it's because of a virus, and to do it you have to uh, *ahem* stimulate them until a particular threshold of, uh, i guess, joy is surpassed.

It was an interesting mechanic for sure.

I've heard about it. Doesn't that game have some yuri?

Well.. I'm actually not sure, to be honest.

I don't know if we're in a need for any particular characters, so I'm still not sure what ideas to give. I'll have to think about it.

Well, he (as that what people seem to be referring to Kollin by) was mentioning "strength of spirit" and all that. But if magic is required then I would more so go with the sword than the spear.

Well, strength of spirit is going to play a role, but it's mostly up to mana. People need mana in order to use relics, and even more so in the case of Demise, where the test seems to involve the relic draining a lot of mana from the potential master.

It doesn't mean that it would be impossible for her to do that - even if she knows no magic, she could have magical potential, but that's up to you.

Doesn't work for me either, but that is what Google is for... and no, it doesn't have romantic relationships at all. Aside from fan fics or stuff that I wouldn't know about, relationships in the game are always friendships, partnerships, and the like.

I was talking about Valkyrie Drive though.

While I've heard of both games, I saw some of the cover images for the Valkyrie Drive anime

Oh okay. I was confused because you quoted me talking about Xenoblade, then in the next quote it says "I don't know what Xenoblade is" and then you said "I've heard about it" so I just misunderstood what you were referring to.

I quoted Kollin who was mentioning Valkyrie Drive.

But now that I look at it again, it also has your mention of Xenoblade there.

I mean, it's a fricking island of teenage lesbians where uh, certain intimate acts cause some of them to turn into weapons. XD

Yeah, it makes sense to have Thyrza have a relic sword instead of a relic spear, so now I am conflicted on what to do.

Relic App

Names: Zaria, the Silver Sword
Type: Holy once, but now cursed
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Race: Human
Form as an object:
Image

Form as a being:
Image

Position/Status/Affiliation: Her mistress is Meta, the Sleep Princess, Archbishop of Acedia, fourth most powerful of the Cult of Sins, and Zaria will serve her without question.
Skills/Powers//Magic: Zaria fights of her own free will, leading her mistress into battle without requiring her to truly even pay attention. Once she is taken in hand, she will control the fight herself--all Meta has to do is abandon her own will and allow Zaria to do the fighting for her, guiding her hands where they need to be. She also possesses the ability to appear and disappear at will, and allows Meta to do the same. Finally, she is a frighteningly sharp blade--the things that cannot be cut by her are close to none.

Personality: Zaria's very nice, up until she's put into battle. At that point, she gets... well, to be honest she gets a little bloodthirsty. She dislikes those who get in the way of herself and Meta, but she'll tolerate them up to a certain point... and then she won't hold back against them. (I miss my homicidal maniac, so...)
Moral Alignment: ...she's a sword.
History: The history of the Silver Sword... what is it? She was something important once, wasn't she? Something else, something even greater... but... why can't she even remember that?
Goals: Well, figuring out what the heck has been going on for the past three years would be nice.
Theme Song: Exotics

RP Sample: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Did you read the Rules?: Eh
Miscellaneous: Look at how shiny she is.
#KBE7TY2IEV

Character Application

Name: Meta, the Sleep Princess
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Unknown
Race: Presumably human...
Appearance:
Image
If you get close enough to get a good look at her eyes, you'll notice that they are, in fact, made of glass. And, though it's hidden beneath her clothes, on her chest is the mark of the Faith's flower--though directly on top of that is the mark of Acedia. She also has a large amount of other scars of various causes, mostly on her back and arms, though these are also covered by her clothing. Finally, she has a long scar across her abdomen.

Position/Status/Affiliation: Sleep Princess, Archbishop of Acedia
Skills/Powers//Magic: Unlike most of those who practice the Magic of the Oath, Meta doesn't have chants for her spells. Rather than speaking combinations of words, Meta sings--specific combinations of notes corresponding to specific spells. The Sleep Princess sings a lullaby, and the world rests... indeed, that is her most powerful spell of all. The Authority of Acedia, preying on a person's exhaustion, whether that be physical or psychological, and amplifying it until that is all they know. She has caused mighty men to collapse in exhaustion, falling unconscious, or even causing their body to give out entirely... and when someone tires of life as a whole, Acedia turns into despair, until they can see only one way out.
Oddly enough, she has never been seen affected by mana deficiency. The reasons for this are unknown.
Equipment: Around her neck, Meta wears a necklace with a small vial on the end. This container is enchanted to never be emptied, and contains a deadly poison.
Interestingly enough, Meta doesn't wear the robes of a typical cultist--whether it's because she prefers normal clothing in terms of comfort, or doesn't want to bother with the robes, or wants to blend in is unsure. Even so, it does make it much more difficult for someone to tell that she's a cultist at all, much less the Archbishop of Acedia herself. Often, no one knows until it's far too late...
She also carries several small blades hidden in the folds of her dress, and a relic of her own--Zaria, the Silver Sword, able to be summoned at will.
Finally, she has two glass eyes, enchanted to allow her to 'see' through them.

Personality: Meta is... tired. Perhaps fitting of an Archbishop of Acedia, she has little motivation beyond achieving her rest, and, if she can, perhaps allowing others to rest as well. Often, she seems simply... numb, as if she feels nothing but heavy exhaustion. She doesn't really seem evil, and in fact speaks to others as if she cares for them, treating them gently up until the point of their demise. Yet she seems to consider that a mercy, and doesn't appear to harbor any ill will towards them at all. She doesn't treat the world as if it's really there, and seems to walk through it as if everything were only a dream...
Moral Alignment: Who knows?
Biography: It was three years ago that the girl who came to be known as Meta appeared. She knew nothing of herself or her past, only the magic that came to her as easily as if she had been using it her entire life, only the pervading sense of having had something stolen from her, something she wanted more than anything else. With a wide array of scars on her body, the mark of the Faith's flower on her chest, and empty, ruined eye sockets disfiguring a face that could have otherwise been called beautiful, she was a strange figure to be sure--and only grew stranger when her self-appointed guardians discovered what might have been the most remarkable thing about her.

She never slept. Ever.

And she tried, oh, how she tried--spending the night's hours lying in bed, gaping sockets fixed on the ceiling, trying desperately to fall asleep the way everyone else did--but nothing ever worked. And she never grew tired--never fatigued, never sleepy, able to work constantly for hours on end, possibly even longer--but there was no denying how unnatural it was, despite its usefulness. She was taken to the Church, in the hopes that they could discover the source of the anomaly--but the moment one person put their hands on her, she started shrieking as if she was in physical pain, tore herself away, and ran.

She ran and ran, her muscles never straining, her breaths never quickening, until she finally stopped and found herself lost, her ruined eyes unable to gauge where she was or how far she'd gone. Though she couldn't seem to become tired, she no longer wanted to continue--she fell to her knees and cried, not even knowing if the liquid running down her face was truly tears or simply blood running from the wounds where her eyes had once been. She was tired, but not of running. She was confused, and scared, and in pain, and she wanted it all to stop.

The next time anyone saw her, she looked upon their faces with cold glass eyes, and sang a gentle lullaby...
Goals: Meta has several things that she desires, but has given up on the possibility of ever achieving most of them. The only goal she truly works towards now, is sleep.
Theme Song: Faceless

RP Sample: Maybe I should write something nice and tragic to prove my abilities... but which character should I torment this time? Hmmmm...
Did you read the Rules?: No!
Miscellaneous: Shhhhhhh...

Fall asleep/die/stop working/things like that.

Your undead's body might just stop functioning.

And, I mean, she has other spells, but they're the typical sort of thing, not specialized to her--so there wasn't much point in listing them all.

It would probably qualify as an undead being.
