Hahaha, you're preaching to the choir here. Been pretty lethargic myself lately. Am however working hard on fixing that, getting myself into RP again. That aside, I do have an announcement to make.
ANNOUNCEMENT
As Thrac told you all we've been working on getting a nicer map for all of us to play with. Now, as soon as it came to placing mountains...we did kinda notice that we didn't really have that much to place down. And before I keep telling Thrac to just stare at RL physical maps all the time and copy mountains, rivers and the like from the matching cultures of our earth to the matching cultures on Lonriel or keep letting the artist send us drafts of where he thinks things should be...why not let some of you come forward with ideas? Afterall, you are in this RP too, have been for a long ass time so of course I'm sure you'd be interested in getting some things you came up with onto the map.
Now, it's a bit late for mountains and coasts aren't going to get changed anymore but if you have ideas for rivers, lakes, swamps, forests, settlements, fortresses, locations etc. feel free to write those down, all neat and tidy, best with some maps with big red markers on them for maximum clarity on where you want what to be. And then you TG those to me. Let me just delete my overfull inbox real quick. Why to me? Well, first, because it's tidier. I don't get TGs and we won't be clogging up our OOC too much (Hahaha, more like revitalize xD). Second...I don't wanna discourage anyone from his ideas just cuz he sees other peole's ideas. I'm gonna see what's in my inbox, compile, look what overlaps, probs decide after talking with the players in question and then make it all ready for Thrac to send to the artist. And third...well...maybe you want to say some things about your places that not everyone's supposed to hear, just to explain a bit how it's supposed to look and all (Don't expect to get supercustom map symbols or anything though).
Now, no need to be shy. The map is A2 in size (so really big) and we get to place over 100 locations (And that's just a limit for if someone wants to print it out. Technically, if it stays digital, we can place way more down) so there's plenty of space for you to put down...I don't know...your character's home town? Backstory relevant locations? Manors, temples, shrines, camps, whatnot? Some of the worldbuilt stuff some among you have done? Your favourite faery forest? Or your ghastly crab lake? Bloody hell, just note down whatever you would perhaps like to see and I and Thrac will see how feasible it's going to be. Just remember TO TG ME AND NOT THRAC! Don't want to burden him with having to comb through half a dozen or more long ass TGs.
