Character Application
Name: Saeria
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Race: Nephilim
Appearance: 1
2
Position/Status/Affiliation:Priestess of the Cult of Castitas and hunter of the Cult of Luxuria, one of the Knights of Light, one of the Seven Heroes
Skills/Powers//Magic:
-Flight: The wings in the image are not for show so she can fly around with them
-Knight of Light: As one of the Knights of Light she is a talented mage and veteran of the War of the Seven Nations
-Memory scrying: A magic that allows for her to access and read the memories of other people. She mostly uses it to examine the memories of cultists she captures to find more of them. Though it can also be used as a weapon since it can force people to relive those memories. Of course those who have strong wills or know about it and are prepared can resist it or block her magic out entirely.
-Healing magic: She can cleanse and remove the taint of Lust from people as well as heal normal wounds
-Illusion magic: She is a talented illusionist and thus can normally alter some part of the environment around her to try to trick her enemies or simply for dramatic effect.
-White fire: She can command and use fire fueled by white magic
-Wind magic: She is capable of manipulating the air around her and use the wind as a weapon, everything from simple gusts to razor sharp blades to actual tornados if she focuses enough.
-Exorcism: Given her position she is knowledgeable on exorcisms and removing taints on the soul
-Mind Protection: She can shield the minds of others from the corruption of Lust and other magics that would impact the mind.
-Martial training: She knows how to use a sword, staff, and lance to good effect
As a Hero and thus an extremely talented mage she has a lot of other magic at her disposal or at least that she knows of that I can’t really cover or want to keep hidden for a surprise/just abuse whenever the situation calls for it. (really it is because I am bad at coming up with powers)
Equipment:A short sword, a lance, armor, a backpack carrying the basic essentials, icons of the Cult of Chastity
Personality: There isn’t much to say beyond the fact that, despite being a gregarious, upbeat, and chatty person she does not reveal much about her personal affairs for fears of them being misinterpreted thanks to her heritage and it is well known about her that she will answer insults with steel. Plus the Cult of Luxuria enrages her to no end.
Moral Alignment: Lawful Good
Biography:
Born in this world but hated and seen as an abomination thanks to her birth Saeria the Nephilim Hero is either hated, unknown, or beloved depending on who you speak to. For it is common for a Nephilim to be hunted down and killed by humans who see them as unholy abominations. But somehow she managed to survive long enough to be taken in as a servant of the Cult of Chastity as a small child and eventually taken as an acolyte of a very unconventional priestess who thought the girl had potential the others overlooked due to her heritage and she showed to have excelled at such a thing, becoming a full priestess of the Cult in near record time and always being serious about her duties but having a bright smile at the same time that reassured the people she tended to that they would feel okay after she helped them. However it wasn’t all brightness since, thanks to the unconventionality of her mentor she encountered the Cult of Lust at a young age and fought them, acquiring a hatred of them that burns to this day after what she saw them doing. She described it as “It was something you could feel in your soul just by looking at it, you knew instinctively it was wrong and you had to destroy it.”
Suffice to say a Nephilim being proclaimed as one of the sixteen Knights of Light was something loudly protested by just about everybody involved in this but the visions of the sixteen were without question, the prophecy was without question, she was to be one of the Knights of Light. And thus she was brought into the fold from her place where she was providing healing and guidance to others, and seeking out and purging Cultists, not that such a thing lifted the prejudices against her for being born but she went to work with the same energy that she approached the rest of life.
She generally tried to get along with most of her fellow Knights but never got along with the Paladin Lidia who held a reciprocated dislike for her whose initial cause was never explained to the others, so much so the only people who know the initial reason for why are the involved parties but what is known is that the two had to be restrained from coming to blows on at least two occasions and Lidia almost challenged her to a duel before being talked out of it by the Princesses of Duivene. Eventually it was decided that if they were to be on the same battlefield they would make an effort to keep themselves, and any troops under their command, far away from each other. But one had to note that when they were forced to fight together they worked quite well together and most thought that if the war lasted longer they would get over everything.
As for the rest of the war there isn’t much to say, despite prejudices against her due to her heritage she proved to be an apt leader of people, often flying above them with a sword in hand to guide them forward, so much so men under her command would refer to her as “their angel” out of respect and when not in battle she would be found tending to the wounded with her healing magic. She also would become one of the lead officials in the armies for hunting down any cultist infiltration, especially those of Lust, as she would pursue and exhaust every reasonable lead and was without hesitation in her pursuit of cultists. Despite her chatty nature she absolutely refuses to speak of what happened with their confrontation of the Emperor, saying that she doesn’t want to remember what became of her friends but it is known that despite her heritage leading some to expect her to fall to temptation she instead stood firm against the tempting words of the Emperor and fought against her corrupted fellows, vindicating herself in many eyes.
She has been making significant efforts since the end of the war to hunt down and destroy the Cult of Luxuria, making it her mission in life to do so and thus she is never in one place for too long. Her anger and actions towards the cult both during and after the war has actually rendered her beyond reproach in that field, her word being held in respect when she does testify about something since most agree that she possesses more knowledge about the enemy compared to the rank and file priestesses and has had a high success rate in sniffing them out. Probably helps that she tends to meet those who try to undermine her word with steel because of how used she is to it being related to her mixed heritage rather than her actual knowledge of the fact of the matter.
While normally such capability and knowledge would make her eligible to be moved up in the hierarchy of the Cult of Castitas she is normally passed over due to her tendency to work alone, her refusal, until recently, to take any acolytes, her radical tendencies when dealing with the Cult of Lust at times, and general lack of desire to promote one of her heritage any higher than they need to, hero or not. And that mostly suits her just fine, being moved up would mean less time in the field and thus less cultists to deal with and thus she would be less effective in her mind.
It is safe to say thanks to her heritage she is one of the less talked about heroes but she doesn’t let that get to her, she never did enjoy the spotlight, though she isn’t afraid of throwing her status as one of the heroes around if it will open doors that need to be opened.

Character Application
Name: Sable
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation:Demi-sexual
Race:Hybrid, lycanthrope-human
Appearance:
Position/Status/Affiliation:Acolyte to the Cult of Castitas, Acolyte of Saeria
Skills/Powers//Magic:
-Sword and staff training: Saeria has been seeing that she can effectively wield a sword and staff in battle, though she favors the sword.
-Acolyte of the Cult of Chastity: She can use most of the magic expected of someone from the Cult of Chastity along with some of Saeria’s wind magic
Equipment: Pretty much everything Saeria has and is included in the picture
Personality: Much like her mentor she has a cheerful personality but is only after you get to know her seeing as she is incredibly shy.
Moral Alignment: Lawful Good
Biography:
Orphaned at a young age by a mother that didn’t want such an abomination as a girl with a lycanthrope father Sable was given to the Cult of Chasity and, in a replication of the one she would call her master, became a servant before being considered for acolyte-hood. Sable passed every test that they had for members of their cult and it was decided that she would be sent off to the priestess Saeria, Hero of the War of the Seven Nations, to petition to be mentored by her.
She fully expected it to be a wasted trip where the Priestess would look her over and send her home refusing to mentor her, she had turned away dozens of acolytes in the past and she and others expected this to be no different. To her honest surprise after a discussion and work that took up most of the day, as Saeria was cleaning up after a group of cultists from Lust attacked a small village, Saeria invited her to stay as her acolyte and it was accepted. That was a year and a half ago and they have been mostly inseparable, her learning what she can from this hunter of the cult of lust, which suits her animalistic instincts just fine and refining herself more in the hunt, so much so that people will agree that she is a worthy successor to Saeria's legacy as a hunter. Saeria thinks she may be ready to strike out on her own soon which is a day she is secretly dreading, the two having formed a strong master and apprentice pairing. As for why Saeria accepted her as an acolyte she simply responded that she felt like Sable was a kindred soul, looked down upon for her mixed heritage and striving to prove herself despite it all. Also that Sable was probably the one with the most potential she had seen in some time.
Compared to her mentor she is much more martially inclined and can take a lot of punishment in part due to her heritage and the fact Saeria wanted her to take a lot of punishment to act as an anvil against the cults while she is the hammer so trained her that way.
Goals: Become a full priestess.

Character Application
Name: Solomon de Velira
Age: 22
Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Race: Human
Appearance:
6'0 ft tall
Position/Status/Affiliation:Former noble from the Empire of Achisia, member of the Achisia Restoration Society
Skills/Powers//Magic:Equipment: A sword given to him by his great-grandfather a set of armor with Achisia's symbols on them.
- Great-Grandson of Augustine de Velira: Being the great-grandson of General Augustine de Velira he was raised learning how to fight with the sword under his expert tutelage and thus he is very skilled with the sword achieving near mastery at a young age, he also acquired an understanding of battlefield tactics and has experience as a field officer.
- Veteran of the War of the Seven Nations - Achisia: Serving in the Achisian Army under his great-grandfather and as one of their knights means he can back up his sword training with actual experience and he knows what it is like to fight when pushed into a corner.
- White Magic - Barrier Creation: Not much to say, he can use his magic to create barriers around himself and others and he can further shape those barriers into different objects.
- White Magic - Healing: He is very skilled at using healing magic and has practice from using said magic during the war. To be perfectly honest at times it is closer to regeneration magic instead of healing magic thanks to his talent with it.
Personality: Despite him being a son of the Empire and his oath of loyalty to the Emperor back when he lived Solomon is a generous and magnanimous man. Polite and cunning, a patriot to his homeland. He is what could be called a good and honorable man and someone who would be more distinguished country gentry over someone who plays games at court. He possesses a deep love for his family and will always have that. Overall the perfect gentleman and noble, a patriot and a warrior. Someone that would not have been expected to be found in his fallen homeland. When in battle though he is a tough fighter, stubborn and determined, but also casual at times. When he gets serious though he can keep up with the best of them as shown by all he has managed to survive by stubbornness alone.
Moral Alignment: Lawful Good
Biography: Certainly the Empire was evil, anyone who fought for the Empire and does not acknowledge that is deluding themselves, but that does not mean it can't be reformed, that it can't be resurrected into a force of good and contribute good to our dark world. I have faith in Achisia.
Growing up in a time of war, for the war started while he was in his mother’s womb, he grew up expecting to enter it as a knight for Achisia and was raised as such. The normal lessons of court and politics were set aside for this young scion, most of his education being taken over by his great-grandfather and elder brother Ezekiel. For it was a time of war so such things needed to be set aside for, General de Velira feared, the war was going to be one that consumed more than one generation.
Grandfather is a good and just man, a light in our lives, I believe with him at the helm good can be achieved in our fallen homeland
He was always looking forward to being old enough to join Augustine as a soldier under his command. He idealized and romanticized the idea of war, of honor, of champions meeting each other in single combat, and of war to be a trial between the strength and determination of two peoples.
The war itself, the losses he beheld, and the darkness in it shattered those feelings but he still fought on for his homeland as the fight turned into one on Achisia's soil believing until the very end that they can win this and redeem Achisia.
He was in the capital of Achisia the day the Emperor died, fighting long and hard to try to protect the Emperor and indeed being left for dead by the Princess Alexis when he and all the knights that weren’t fighting elsewhere tried to prevent the Knights of Light from entering the palace and they were wiped out to a man. Even he admits if it wasn’t for his talent in healing magic he would have died several times over during the battle for the capital.
My sister does not understand, autocratic rule like the old days can't be recreated, if Achisia is to rise again it cannot be as it was in the past. Those days are long gone. A new Achisia must be formed from the ashes of the old, but a stronger and better one. That is the duty of us surviving nobles… But first I have a promise to fulfill and we have a war to win.
After the end of the war Solomon’s personality took something of a change, he had long realized his homeland was corrupt, that his Emperor had fallen, and that something new would have to be done for Achisia to regain her honor. That is why he advocates for a new Achisia, one free of the crimes of the past. One shaped to the ideals they had hoped the Emperor would embody, a return to the days the land was blessed by the light. However that doesn’t seem to be the main thing driving him since, as he notes, everything he ever knew is gone and thus something else pushes him, a promise.
These days he frequently clashes with his elder sister on what should be done come the next war, as he has so far absolutely refused to go along with the more… dark methods practiced in Achisia for victory. He heads up security for the de Velira estate and ensures the guards are properly drilled.
Goals: The redemption of Achisia, the fulfillment of his oath.

Character Application
Name: Silvia de Velira
Age: 18 (assumed, she isn't completely sure)
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Race: Human
Appearance:1
2
5'7 ft tall
Position/Status/Affiliation: Adoptive daughter of General Augustine de Velira (so technically Solomon and Illania's great-aunt despite being younger than them), member of the Achisian Restoration Society.
Skills/Powers//Magic:Equipment:
- Former Street Urchin: Her experience with living on the streets and stealing to survive means she has a talent for sneaking around or blending in while being quick on her feet.
- Adoptive Daughter of General Augustine de Velira: As Augustine de Velira's adoptive daughter that he raised as his own she has some knowledge of military affairs and tactics as well as being passable when it comes to sword combat.
- The General's Assassin: Where she shined during the war though was the art of spying and assassination, relying on what she learned as a child and honing it with other servants of the Emperor, all in the service of her father.
- Imperial Assassin: Received training as an assassin back during the war and, while she isn't a master by any means, she is talented at it and had the war lasted longer she would have risen far by most estimates.
- Veteran of the War of the Seven Nations - Achisia: While not seeing combat as much as her niece and nephew she knows her way around a battlefield and knows how to survive one.
- Various mementos from her father
- Various knives, poisons, and other equipment for her work
- A shortsword
- Some sets of plain clothes
- Leather armor
- A small pouch of candy
Personality: She is absolutely and fanatically loyal to her adoptive father, to such an extent Illania states that she almost worships the ground he walks on. She is ruthless in fighting her father's enemies and dealing with threats to him. Beyond that she is a polite enough girl and does have a nice streak, especially to orphans. She hides her rather low self-esteem due to not being of noble blood unlike her father from others (which feeds into her complex about being adopted and not being her father's actual daughter) and that means she doesn't know all of the complexities of being a noble and it shows in her dealings with other nobles. She can pass for a noble to most of society but not to someone completely raised in nobility. But she has gotten good at pretending so she can at least trick them for sometime.
Moral Alignment: Doesn't have a true alignment, all things considered, she has no conscience, Augustine de Velira is her conscience.
Biography:
Father saved me from the streets. He saw a poor orphan girl, a small child, trying to survive and took her in out of the kindness of his heart. I owe him everything.
Silvia de Velira, the adoptive daughter of the great General Augustine de Velira. A girl who has no memories of her life before the streets, not even a name, her name being given to her by Augustine when he took her in 13 years ago. He would later say "I saw potential in her and something drew me to that girl in a way." He soon adopted her giving her his family's name and was actually happy to have a young daughter again, especially seeing as, by that point, his wife and all his children were dead, consumed by the war or by illness. He taught her how to act and behave like a noble and raised her himself. When he returned to the war she accompanied him into the field and that was where she got her first kill when she killed an assassin who was there to claim her father's head, trying to stop the famed general from lending his brilliance any further to the war.
I do not have the genius of you, Father, nor the brilliance of the sword and charisma and tenacity that Solomon has, nor the skills of Illania when it comes to magic. So I do what I know to do to help you with your goals.
While her father (mostly) disapproves she takes upon herself the more seedy work of being an assassin and spy, offing her father's enemies as she deems needed. She does it out of obligation to him and because of a desire to be of use to him in the ways she knows how. This practice dates back to when she was 13 with her first assassination of an enemy officer when she snuck into the opposing camp and delivered the local commander's head to her father's desk when he was in a strategy meeting. Augustine was not truly happy with this development as it went against the concept of honorable war that he had tried to drill into his family but he admitted that he needed every tool he could get as he knew he was fighting a losing war so he had to make use of her talents and that he supported her receiving training from the Emperor's other assassins.
These days she accompanies her father on most trips and such that people who don't know she is his daughter at first think she is an attendant to the old general which just annoys her but also reminds her that there is no way for outsiders to tell, she isn't his real daughter after all. Otherwise she just spends her time reading in the estate and ensuring it is clean.
Goals: Ensuring her father's goals come to pass, maintaining this home she found.
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60LLKmpgzRM
RP Sample: A Bosnian terrorist walked into Sarajevo and, as a result, all intelligent people thought killing each other with machine guns and mustard gas was a swell idea.

Name: Solomon de Velira
Age: 22
Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Race: Human
Appearance: (Image)

Hmmm.. demon prince might be a bit more interesting since we have princes and artificial angels around.
We haven't really had a serious active vampire so far besides from Exil's Lisbeth, but she's been mostly hiding. I always like vampires though
But the big question is.. will it be a trap?
