Okay, I thought we were on Thursday, sorry about this. This will be the last question. After both have responded and any back and forth, you can give your closing statements. We are on IC day = OOC day time starting tomorrow, ICly November 2nd. Results will start coming in Tuesday night, with news coverage throughout the day. This is the home stretch!

For the record, I recommend RPing your characters coming together getting ready for election night on Tuesday. Given that final results will be input by Tuesday morning, it's unlikely campaigning will count that day — I'll give both sides an equal bump in the relevant category that day just to simulate campaigning that would happen.

I concur with everyone. This was extremely fun, but a four-man RP is not usually something I work on for this long. I'm glad I made it to the finish line.

Same to you, this has been an extremely fun ride, like I'm pretty sure I haven't had this much fun with an RP in a long time.
And I definitely would join a House of Cards-style RP if it comes to be, especially to see what Guess would do with whatever the lower court says about the Constitution because I swear to god that man will never let that go that would be a fun thing to roleplay he said in an uncannily calm voice. And if some former players would be willing to come back that would be great too.

(But also, if Egilson doesn't win, what will you do with him in the new roleplay? Cause typically people don't run for two positions at the same time unless it's Vice President and they were already running for something else before being chosen.)

If Egilson doesn't win, my thought would be that the new 1st District California representative would rise to power in the House of Representatives, partially goaded on (and originally mentored) by Egilson. That, or I just start anew with another character, maybe even a Democratic dissident from, say, the South.

Same with Randolph in Georgia. Probably will make an actual app for Eric, might make him run for Senate in a few years. And of course, I'll probably make a new character so I can interact with the Federal Government better.
