Shikaiko Nara

A Hyuga was surprising, but Shikaiko was still exceptionally bored. She bowed as was expected but just watched with the lids of her eyes drooping dangerously close to sleep. If we have to do anything like a test this will be really annoying. She thought. The way he spoke made her certain that was exactly what they were going to be doing though. With a slightly lifted eyebrow she introduced herself as well.

"I'm Shikaiko Nara, Nice to meet you Sensei." She barely seemed able to keep her eyes open, but from her side of things she could see quite clearly.

Not really what I expected from the Hyuga. Shikaiko thought as she sized the Jonin up. Then again, you don't become a Jonin if you aren't strong. This test is going to really annoy me. Her eyes locked on the bells and followed them as her prospective Sensei moved them.

Shifting her eyes from the bells now she finally payed closer attention to her two teammates. They would have to cooperate whatever the test was, so she needed to know as much about them as possible. As the stranger had spoken she watched him curiously. She had meant to answer the Yamanaka boy as well, but he had moved on from her and was ogling their new teacher. Not to mention practically devoting himself to the man.

Tonan Chinoike
Konohagakure

Finally, he was here. Konohagakure, the very village that Tonan had set out for, was just beyond the large gates, with him at the doorstep. With a sigh of satisfaction and relief, he entered through the gates and into the village itself, amazed at the sheer size that it had. Compared to his village, Konohagakure was massive, and Tonan couldn't wait to explore it, so he did, as he didn't have much luggage to carry around, just a sack of extra clothing and cash.

As he did, the first interesting thing he came upon was the training grounds, where a team of ninja were preparing to train. Wanting to watch, Tonan made his way up a tree and took a seat on a branch, ready to see how he'd be doing the same soon enough.

The Jonin droned on and on about how tough it would be to become Hokage, about how many others there are who would be better at it than I would be. I honestly only heard about half of it, because I was far too occupied with the fact that he did not even attempt to defend himself from my attacks. He just continued on as if everything was normal and started speaking to the other Genin. To be entirely ignored by the Jonin as if...as if I was nothing at all? That was the worst insult you could pass on a shinobi, especially an Inuzuka.

"So what, you do not even know me!? I should just give up because it will be hard? No one accomplishes anything like that! And I don't care if you think I cannot do it, if you don't train me, I'll do it all my own if I have to!" It was then that I thought back on his question, about my reasoning for wanting to become Hokage. My mind flashed back to the day I met the 4th for the first time, and I considered telling him about it.

NAh, its none of his business. All he needs to know is that I will be Hokage. Standing my ground on his right flank, I considered what I should do. I cannot really attack him here, I would likely just damage the school. And that would accomplish nothing. With a annoyed sigh I relaxed and turned my back on him and sat back down.

Whatever, I do not care if you do not believe me or not Sensei. It doesn't change anything. Besides. I'll have plenty of time to get you to earn your respect." Finally sitting back down Akame jumped on my lap.

"So, what are we doing for training. I don't want to waste time when I could be improving my skills....Master Sora..." I practically mumbled his name under my breath. Still annoyed that I was straight up ignored.

Team 10 was worrisome to Omura. More precisely Team 10's leader was worrisome, the man was definitely giving some sadist vibes off to Omura. The other two team members seemed alright Maki was rather loud but she seemed like fun, and Ishida seemed friendly but possibly a kiss ass. Omura would be skeptical of that.

So far, besides the rather harsh shutdown of Maki by Sensei the only topic remained why did they all want to be ninja. A Weird question that was difficult to answer. Well it would normally be difficult to answer, but if Omura really thought about it he knew his answer.

"Being a ninja is steady money. As a ninja I will become strong enough to do S class missions and collect the reward money from them. That all I want, since Gran's glass shop is losing money I can fill the gap for now and then I will take care of her like she took care of me." He sighed with that. Sort of depressing, maybe but what other reason was there really?

"So," He began to ask. "When do we start doing missions anyway sensei?"

Ryƫ Sora-Jounin

"Slow done Maki, I never said that you should give up on your dreams. I was telling you your chances of becoming the Hokage, but if you truly have a reason to become Hokage I will support you the entire way, after all, it's hard to carry all your burden by yourself, so don't you worry I will train you, Miss Godaime Hokage." I finished with a smirk. Now only time will tell if she will truly become the Godaime Hokage when she grows up, but even if she doesn't I know she will become a fine shinobi in the future. While Maki currently isn't my favorite student I can feel that she will grow on me.

Omura while you aren't wrong that Shinobis can earn a lot, do you know the risks of being a shinobi. Being a shinobi is a dangerous and rewarding job, but how dangerous and rewarding is all up to you and how you decided to spend your time, also I commend you for thinking of your Grandmother. I really hope that in the future you will gain enough money to help your grandmother, also to answer your question you will get your first mission right now. I will explain it all to you guys later This kid was something. He was one of the first people that said they wanted to earn money to help their family. With his current dream, he seems promising.

Now on to our quest my cute little Genin. You see my friend and fellow Jounin, also a sensei is sick and needs a humidifier. Your task will be to buy the humidifier then set it up for him. I will be watching closely and you'll only get 30 minutes to set it up. If you pass this little task my cute gennin, we'll head to training field number twenty. There I will tortu...I mean to start your real quest. I'm carrying with 2 bento boxes and however gets those two bento boxes will pass and eat lunch the person that doesn't, will have to get tied up and watch their comrade eat their lunch before being sent back to the academy. Any objections... Great, let's going. The humidifier will definitely take them some time, and if they can work together on the first task then they should be able to pass the second one without much trouble

I motioned my genin team to follow me outside. I told my team in chirpy tone, "Alright my cute genin this marks the start of our little quest. Remember you are the knights and the common cold is the dragon, now all you have to do is save the prince." Now Hakaku is trully in my debt. I can finally slack off with him around. I let out a evil laugh before turning my attention back to my precious smut book. "Hana you naughty girl," I said with a perverted giggle.

Aikawa Kurhoshi

Aikawa smiled warmly. The boy seemed to be the cautious. That would serve him well. Aikawa didn't answer him for a while and instead quickly finished up his meal careful to get every last bit. No sense in wasting good Ramen while it was hot. Slurping down the last bit of the bowl he finally turned to fully face the genin.

"Well, I think it's about time I got around to introducing myself." He kept his same pleasant and friendly demeanor.

"You can call me Aikawa Sensei, I will be taking you on as my apprenticed ninja. I figure you already knew that much though." He chuckled slightly as he stood and paid for both meals.

"It's about time we get started don't you think?" Aikawa beamed a friendly face to the younger ninja and parted the curtains to the shop. He was content to give Tokikazu plenty of time to finish eating before he motioned to follow him.

"Tell me Tokikazu, about some of your strengths and weaknesses, as well as what you wish to do as a ninja." Aikawa waved to an acquaintance as they walked, smiling brightly and bowing his head slightly to people he passed.

Omura Garasu

Omura grinned slightly as his new teacher seemed to praise him for his answer. However he also had to contemplate about what else he had said. Shinobi life was dangerous and rewarding, Omura knew that but still thinking about it reminded him of his mother's death while on a mission in a foreign nation, he didn't even know which one. Omura dropped his smile at that thought. He knew it was dangerous, but what else was there, Konoha was built on it's shinobi forces, and the whole reason he needed money was because his family's glass business couldn't make money anymore. Technology had pushed their one time monopoly on glassware into nonexistence and now as the only member of his household able to perform glass release they had no way of keeping up with the times.

The boy honestly had no real choice in profession. Though when his sensei announced the first task they were doing he couldn't help but feel the task wasn't dangerous or rewarding. Buying a humidifier for another team's sensei seemed more like a punishment than a mission.

Omura wasn't deterred though, a task from their leader was still something that had to be done. So he tried to get his bearings to find the nearest shop for such a product.

"Do either of you two know the closest shop for this?" He asked his fellow genin, turning in slow circles trying to see some distant sign for a store.

Hakaku Akage, The Unseeen Shinobi, 27 Years Old, Jonin, Team 3 Sensai

Hakaku sniffled again, and let the Benin assembled before him talk out their opinions of his plan. He studied each of them with an indifferent eye, trying to decide if he liked them or not. So far, he felt that the answer was yes, he did in fact like them. They were a plucky trio, and he thought they seemed to be just the right amount of eager to be successful. However, he made sure to keep his like of the three of them separate in his mind. There was no need to get attached to them yet, especially before they had even been given the bell test. If they failed, no matter how much he liked them, it wouldn't make any difference to him to have to send them back. He could always get a new Genin team next year.

Alright, he said, keeping his voice as even as he could with his stuffed nose. It proved to be a less than beneficial tactic however, as he doubles over in another coughing fit as soon as the word was out of his mouth. And it seemed, just to add insult to injury, his coughing caused him to sneeze as well. When the whole ordeal was over, he stood resting his hands on his knees trying to get his breath back. With a haggard Fuck me sideways man, shit, he stood up straight again and looked down at the Genin. Hakaku sniffled, before turning on his heel and waving his hands for his new team to follow. Let's get rolling yall, he said, pulling the door to classroom open in front of him and holding it open for his team to pass through. He started walking after them, and took a quick three steps so he could catch up with them and walked besides the Genin. Hakaku put his hands behind his head, and looked lifelong at the team, sizing them up. So far, his impressions was that Shinobu was proving that she had the makings of a leader, but that Shizuku seemed to be the brains. The final young man however had kept quiet after his arrival, and Hakaku found himself having trouble getting a read on Soras brother.

So, he said, in an effort to break the ice. I guess we all might as well get to know each other. Lets say we all introduce ourselves, and twll each other what our likes are, our dislikes, and, uh, lets go with what our dreams are. Ill start, aince i am currently talking, and because i am currently the coolest person in this hallway. My name is Hakaku Akage, and I am your sensai, as in sure you th see know by now, though some people have taken to calling me the Unseen Shinobi because I once fought an enemy ninja team without them ever seeing me, so that's pretty dope. Anywahs, as for my likes, im a fan or ramen, music, books, and I really like nice walks in the woods, that shit is rad. As for my dislikes, I'm not to keen on the smell of rubber, rain, or people who ate overly chipper for no reason. Just bugs me, I can't explain why. Oh, and I hate spiders, just, hate them. Their terrifying. As for my dreams, right now I'm dreaming a lot about buying my own home. My current place is far to small. He had spoken almost in what appeared to be one breath, a feat that should have been impossible considering his current state of health. But, he had managed it, and had he hoped opened a good avenue for communication while him and his team made their way to the drug store.

Anyways, he continued,Let's keep this new friendship train rolling. How about, uh, you, he said, pointing at Shizuku. Then Shinobu, then Sora 2.0.

Kyo Uchiha, Genin, 12 Years Old

Kyo leaped into the air, flipping backwards to land deftly on a tree trunk at the order to begin from his new sensai. As soon as he felt his feet touch wood, he spun around and quickly jumped to another tree, and then another, before any of the steel clones could get a bead on him. When he finally felt safe from any nearby watchful eyes, he crouched down and studied the terrain intently. The training ground was mostly Forrest, but due to all of the practices Justus, it was rather sparse, with many clearing scattered throughout. He was not a fan of the situation, as it offered no area to easily hide, but enough open space that he wouldn't be able to force an apponnent into a close fight easily.

Kyo sighed, and placed his hand over his eyes to watch for any movement. The cats couldn't have gone to far by this point, but they were escorted by clones on par with a Jonin, and we're small animals to begin with. Even if he did find them immediately, capturing them would be a whole other ordeal all together. But by far his biggest concern was with weather or not his fellow teammates would be willing to work together. In his mind it would be their best strategy. No matter what, someone wasn't going to get a cat, but by combining their skills they would have a much better chance of overpowering the clones one at a time, and therefore increase each of their chances of catching a cat. He hopes for the best. His teammates he remembered were all top of the class, much like he had been, and so he hoped that they were thinking the same thing as him. With that in mind, he quickly glanced around for any movement in the trees, or a glimpse of some article of clothing, before standing and leaping to another tree, keeping an eye out for either the cats or a potential ally.

Maki Inuzuka-Genin 13 Yrs Old

It was kinda weird how he kept referring to us as his cute little Genin. And add on to that the way he pervs over his smut. He is certainly not what I had expected to be Jonin material. But likewise I doubt we are anything close to resembling what he would have expected. But what was even more odd was our mission to go and buy a humidifier for another sick Jonin. I mean, doesn't he have a team of his own to do things like this for him? Why are we doing it? I just want to get this out of the way so that we can get to the real test in the training area. I half listened to Sora as he described the details. Something about Bento Boxes and....Getting sent back to the Academy? There was absolutely no way I was going to fail his test. I already took an extra year to get out of the Academy, no way I was going back.

I had wanted to ask him a dozen questions about what he had said. About how we could be sent back to the Academy after graduating. But I decided to do my best and focus on getting this humidifier thing first. Can always ask about the details of the test once we get to that. But as we continued forward my mind kept going back to what he had said. I could not keep my mouth shut about it anymore so I decided to see what Ishida thought about it.

"I think he must be bluffing. There is no way we can be sent back to the Academy right?" I asked, keeping my voice down so only me and Ishida could hear. Besides, it seemed Master Sora was too absorbed in his smut.

"And from the sound of it seems like one of us is supposed to fail. I don't get it, we all worked like crazy to get here." I added, before peeking back at Master Sora to see if he had heard anything before turning back to Ishida.

"So, what do you think about this?"

Tokikazu Mizune
Konohagakure
Genin

Tokikazu finished his ramen moments before Aikawa finished his with a loud slurp. His face did not contort or reveal any of his feelings as to the revealed information. Nor did he stop his new sensei from paying for his meal. He didn't have much in terms of money and he the transaction happened faster than he could have stopped it.

The opened curtains revealed fresh colors, blinding yellow for a moment as they adjusted to the lighting. He merely nodded in response to the first presented question, stretching wide before leaving his seat with a short thank you to the Ichiraku Ramen chef.

As he passed through the upheld curtain and into the sunlight he turned towards his teacher, noticing his young age more immediately now that his full attention had fallen on him. His Strengths...? Weaknesses? "Haven't you looked at my school record already?" The venom in his voice might not have been particularly fair though it wasn't in his nature to apologize, except to Mizune clan elders. "I feel i'm a capable ninjutsu user, my genjutsu isn't too shabby either." He turned to look away for a moment, frowning as he recalled the days just preceding, at the Academy. "Nakayama Sensei, from the Academy, i was told that my taijutsu needed some work and my chakra reserves are smaller than normal." His face revealed a bit of sheepishness at having to reveal his flaws, which he quickly averted to the ground.

Ishida Soikawa

Ishida was on the same track of mind as Maki when she proposed their new teacher was bluffing, but he felt less than inclined to test that theory. Instead he inclined his head at the other two team members of his team. Maki and Omura would be tough competition.

Either way Ishida sensed some kind of trick to the tasks and test Sora promised the genin. He had no idea what it could be but he definitely expected some sort of twist, and honestly expected to Sora to try and make them compete with one another tow succeed.

Ishida looked at his two teammates as obstacles suddenly. He didn't know all that much about them, however he expected Make was a close range fighter and while he was less sure about Omura, the gauntlet on his arm made Ishida suspicious that he two was predominantly close range. That was a problem if they had to fight. Ishida was a decent all around fighter but to be honest either would likely best him in close quarters.

Realizing he was staring at Maki he blinked a couple of times to refocus his eyes.

"Uh, well I am sure he has some kind of trick up his sleeve, he seems like the type. I hope you are right about us not being able to be sent back." He mentally added that he didn't need any more setbacks for his clan to look down on him for.

"Anyway I guess we should focus on that humidifier for the other team's Jonin." That was a weird choice for first mission.

"Any ideas where to get one?" Ishida didn't really go shopping much and didn't know which stores would even carry the items.

Rinko Soikawa

Rinko knocked her head back and took another pain pill. She was needing it more and more now, and the numb throbbing below the skin on her chest had slowly increased in power over the last two years. She was of course still a Jonin of the Leaf, and Clan head for the Soikawa, there was no time to sit back and relax to heal.

Today she wanted to peek on Ishida's training session with his new team, but time rarely allowed her a moment to do things like that. Instead Rinko would be leading a small group of Soikawa elders to a shrine a short distance outside the village walls. The woman dreaded spending yet more alone time with the old crones and codgers of the Soikawa. As they stepped out of the gates Rinko let her mind drift as she tried to ignore the chattering sound of the nagging elder clansfolk.

Omura Garasu

"I know where the closest one is, follow me!" Omura shouted over his shoulder as he took off down the road nearing the turn stopped a moment to let the other two come to him and to remind himself where it was.

The store he was looking for was a small one but had a large supply of general goods, and was one of the two stores that sold Gran's glassware. He was used to delivering to the alleyway entrance but today he was going to be looking for the sign on the front. He picked it out, a small sign shaped like a basket spilling over with items, and began walking.

This was definitely a weird assignment from their new sensei. Rather than debate on what the point was like his comrades he was certain it was like those books he liked to read, where the teacher used odd menial tasks to reinforce basic skills. Although Omura admittedly had a hard time identifying what the skill was they were getting here, they all could already but things from a vendor.

"We should be able to get a humidifier here. The sooner we get this taken care of the sooner we can get onto our next training session." The boy beamed. He was wired for his first day, and barely controlling the volume of his voice, and failing toward the end of his sentence, shouting it and gaining a few stranger's stares.

Aikawa Kurhoshi

Smiling down warmly at Tokikazu as he finished speaking. He was pretty happy with how Tokikazu answered his question. He had read the boy's record, a few times. However he wanted to hear how the younger man felt about his own abilities. He was humble enough but not selling himself short on his strong points, that was good, but even more importantly he was able to identify his weak points. Aikawa sensed a slight amount of shame from his student as he mentioned his flaws.

"Good," He began turning fully to face Tokikazu and stopping briefly. "My very first lesson is to not be ashamed of your weaknesses, we all have them. That doesn't mean though that you should ignore them." He pondered for a moment quietly before continuing. "Your taijutsu and chakra reserves may be your weak points, but we will work to improve them. That is why I am here after all." Aikawa motioned for the younger ninja to follow him again and continued walking.

He smiled friendly to the two gate guards as they approached before turning to Tokikazu once again.

"Behind us is the whole of Konoha, and into that mess of buildings I am going to run away from you. I want you to do your very best to catch me and take this ribbon." He tied a small red ribbon onto the right shoulder of his vest. "Every Genin is tested by their new sensei when they first join together. You will be no different and I am not going to take it easy on you because you have so much potential. Actually expect the opposite."

Aikawa stopped for a moment to bend his back slightly before stretching his arms and legs and continuing his topic.

"You can use whatever skills you have to catch me, just don't damage the village or hurt the people." He smiled at Tokikazu somehow even brighter letting out a slight chuckle. "One last thing, I am going to cheat." With that the Jonin made a short series of signs and was suddenly replaced with a cloud of smoke and an odd log tumbling to the ground with a map attached by a Kunai on it.
