Terraforming: She can “terraform” surrounding areas to accommodate her need for biomass, this terraforming only affects plants in terms of preexisting organics.
HIVEMIND: she is connected to an alternate consciousness made for her powers, granting her decent control.
Drawbacks and Limitations:
Her powers are weakened by fire, and slowed down by cold.
She gets hungry rather fast when using her powers, so much as she would bite chunks off of living things.
She loses the adaptations after going 30 minutes without exposure.
Apicem Rapax: she views herself as something akin to an “Apex Predator” and thus probably won’t cooperate easily.
Equipment: She brought a Trombone with her to the academy, along with a shock collar in case HIVEMIND gets out of hand.

Laurel was born in a Gencore front hospital meant for testing genetic validity for experiments,she had said validity. She was taken away and announced as having died from complications, when in reality she was transported to an actual facility and raised until she was old enough to be tested on. She was subjected to the HIVEMIND supersoldier project, an attempt to make a linked network of operatives via a Hivemind. They implanted the HIVEMIND Cortex into her brain, and played the waiting game for powers to develop. A few months after the operation, Laurel started saying she was hearing a voice in her head, a sign the HIVEMIND project had worked. She was put through rigorous tests, and shocked when she disobeyed. Over time, her biokinetic powers developed and stregthened, culminating into her escape when the lab was raided by a hero team. She ran, and ran, and ran. She travelled across the country, picking up small jobs, getting involved in gangs, whatever would keep her fed and HIVEMIND passive. Then she got put on ARGUS’ radar by helping a hero team, Branches of Science, with stopping a terrorist attack. She was on the run for real now, and it took 3 special ops teams and 12 lives for her to be captured and put into a cell that could slow her down by drastically lowering the temperature. She is now being transported to a place called “Novum Saeculum academy”, where she can learn to be a hero.

Powers: Nike is a long-range photokinetic; she can manipulate light with no limitations beyond her own creativity and focus, with her range only being limited by how far she can see and the quantity of light she can manipulate by how much light is actually available for her to manipulate and how much attention she's paying to her manipulation of the light in terms of accuracy and precision of intensity.

Drawbacks and Limitations: Nike has her fair share of weaknesses. Firstly, her photokinesis has an unbreakable 15-meter radius around herself that she can’t use it in, so she is highly vulnerable in close quarters combat. Using her power puts her into a semi-catatonic state where she is paralyzed, blind and almost deaf, instead only seeing the various ‘strings’ of light in the world that her power can manipulate. Her accuracy and precision is notably lacking as it’s extremely hard for her to identify specific individuals, groups or locations due to only being able to see the ‘strings’ of light, so she tends just to blast away with large numbers of beams of focused light over a wide area and not care about the consequences, damage or casualties. Also, she cannot create light, only manipulate pre-existing light so she becomes much much weaker in the dark.

Equipment: Nothing beyond her clothes and a strange-looking satellite cellphone.

Personality: Nike is a highly egomaniacal and energetic girl; she does what she wants, when she wants, how she wants, and the only people who can ever dissuade her from her chosen course of action are close friends or family or if she changes her mind of her own accord, which given her limited attention span is quite likely. When she doesn’t get to do what she wants, or she’s forced into doing something, she becomes excessively sullen and brattish, lashing out at people and generally being a right bitch but still doing it anyways. Extremely loyal to those she cares about, but it's hard to win her loyalty, and she doesn't care about anyone else. Truly believes herself to be above everyone else but those she counts as friends and family and looks down on them, especially if they’re unable to recognise her (to herself) self-evident superiority.

Skills: Nike has a curiously wide array of skills; despite her age she’s capable of driving or piloting multiple vehicles from cars to planes to ships. Flaws: She’s very much her own person. She won’t take orders from anyone out of principle unless she respects them or she'd have done it anyways in which case she insists it isn't her taking orders, and it takes a very large amount of time and effort to win her respect. She’s arrogant, excessively so, and especially towards people her own age whom she considers to be 'just stupid.'.

Powers:

• Superhuman Strength: Ronan can lift about thirty tons at maximum, unless he is affected by rage. He can gain/lose strength just as a human can, but at a much slower pace. This is due to an incredibly enhanced muscle density that allows him to pack more muscle into his frame.
• Durability: Ronan's bones are reinforced and his skin has several extra layers of extremely hard calloused skin underneath his epidermis, making him extremely durable to damage.
• Proportional Healing Factor: Ronan heals wounds quicker the more injuries he sustains. Minor wounds heal as a regular human's would, but sustaining a catastrophic wound will speed up the healing process exponentially.
• Rage-Induced Augmentation: If Ronan is pushed far enough, he will enter a state of mind that he calls "Fury Walking". His strength is enhanced to the point where he can lift approximately fifty tons, and he can ignore most wounds for a certain amount of time. In this state, his veins glow red and his pupils dilate entirely. His reflexes are also enhanced.

Drawbacks and Limitations:

• Ronan isn't particularly agile.
• He has a tendency to cause collateral damage, and has a very big "get out of my way or get moved" mentality.
• He can still be put down by big bullets.

Equipment:

• A pair of brass knuckles inscribed with "Fuck" and "You". These brass knuckles are "magical" and can augment the amount of force Ronan can put into a punch.
• A Mossberg 500
• A sledgehammer or two.

Personality: Ronan, simply put, doesn't care about much. His moral compass is wide, and his standards of "heroism" vary greatly depending on exactly what the mission is. He is mostly interested in finding the next best self-destructive habit to engage himself in. He can be quite laid back, but mostly because little concerns him other than whenever the next fight is. He is aggressive, boisterous, and generally confrontational to those he doesn't respect. He is generally self-concerned, and considers himself more of a "mercenary with a nice streak" than an actual hero. The quickest way to make a friend out of Ronan is to get him drunk, but even then he might try to fight you.

Bio: Ronan never had a quiet life, at least away from his family. His massive size was apparent as soon as he started to grow, and it was only augmented by the awakening of his powers. From the gate, he was a bully at school. He would regularly fight his classmates, teachers, even the school security guard. He got involved in the metal scene not long after he graduated middle school, spending a brief stint away from home following some of his favorite bands and regularly getting thrown out of bars for being too rowdy.

After realizing that punching people for no money would get him nowhere, Ronan decided to punch people for money. He signed on with local boxing gym, and happened to have a natural proficiency for it. He made enough cash to set out on his own by the time he was sixteen, renting a small apartment in Miami and pursuing bigger fighting gigs for more cash, until he became a renowned boxer among several circuits. He was often featured in larger expedition fights, where he would be pitted against the biggest bugger the promotion company could find and the bloodbath would ensue.

This all disappeared, however, when Ronan was blood tested for metahuman genes. Testing positive, he was immediately thrown out of the boxing league he was in. Needing cash quickly, he signed up for whatever illegal metahuman fight he could find. Most of these ended with the opponent not living long after. It mattered little to Ronan, as long as the money, women, and booze kept coming.

When he was twenty, Ronan spent a brief stint in Novus Security Systems, a private security company that dabbled in paramilitary operations. Here, his abilities were somewhat enhanced, and his combat skills improved. Eventually, he was offered an opportunity to attend the Academy, and he accepted, more on the premise that he would be living somewhere for free and have the opportunity to punch plenty of people.

Skills: Hand to hand combat, high alcohol tolerance.
Flaws: Actual hero business, creative solutions to problems.
