Welcome to Long Grass, TX/Denver, CO/Mobeetie, TX/Tombstone, AZ. The year is somewhere between 1879 and 1881, no one cares quite enough to keep track. Buffalo Bill, Billy the Kid, Doc Holiday and Wyat Earp rule the once-great empire of the wild west. That lawless land, now losing itself to settlement and to the times, is dominated in its end-times by those immortal men whose lives will never be what we know them.
Only now, in this year of eighteen-hundred and something-or-another can we truly live out their lives, their experiences. Only now can we set the stage for the end of the lawless years, living out the sunset on the prairie skyline. Cowboys, Outlaws, Saloon-Slingers, and Whores, open your ears. The Last Kind Words out West are about to be spoken.
There will be adult themes like violence, cursing, and death in this rp. This will be an rp grounded in historical events and following fictional poeple. This will be an action based rp, meaning every post you'll go about your roleplaying business, and somewhere within make an action. I'll roll a D100 and add bonuses and penalties as needed. This will be using a skill based system like in Call of Cthulhu. Here's an example:
ACTION: Use Skill: Lasso to tie up the bank robber.
With that information I'd then roll 1D100 against your Lasso Skill of 40. I roll a 35, under 40, so you succeed. Any questions, drop 'em with your app/tag.
You'll be starting in one of four places. Long Grass, TX/Denver, CO/Mobeetie, TX/Tombstone, AZ. These places will help to determine the people you meet and the things that happen to you, but you won't have to stay there forever.
