The Forbidden Act
Misty Peak

The agents were used to gorey deaths and injury, it was as common in their job a d lives as insanity and existinal dread. But even they were shocked at the spontaneous violent turn with Tone; the fact Avarice refuses to fight back was only adding more to their shock and confusion. As Cicero tried to stop Tone everyone knew that his methods won't work, a man so consumed by revenge like won't stop so easily.

One agent took out a syringe and inject herself with the dark purple substance within the medical instrument. After a few minutes the effects took hold as the esper felt her powers grow. She reach out with her hand and Tone would see his hand let go of Avarice’s core. Before he can even react to that he would find his body being flung ino the air and suddenly stopping, hovering above the group. He would be flung towards the Deviljho's body and once he hit the body his body was turned so he was facing his neck to the group as he was gently placed back down. A group of Reavers approached him and handcuffed Tone.

As the Reavers dragged him away from the monster's body he was taken fo stand before Hex. The woman looked at him and while her mask made it difficult to guess what her expression her voice would make it clear that she was furious. "Whatever issues you have with Avarice can wait. Right now all of us just barely survived against the demon monster next to us and the last thing we need is to get dragged and possibility killed in another fight. Now either you promise they won't try to kill Avarice and we might let you go. If that proves to be impossible than you either have imprisonment or having an early grave." Tone would hear several guns being cocker behind him. "I would be very careful with what you choose."

The Forbidden Act

The Party - Misty Peaks

Gesh addressed the man that was talking to him. "The Hunter's Guild is the governing body of our world. They regulate the hunting of monsters and the distribution of their materials." He explained. Then a thought came to him. "Now that I think of it, despite your help in taking the Deviljho down, you're not technically permitted to harvest monster material. That's supposed to be a task exclusively performed by hunters..." The old hunter said.

Not 3 seconds after he said this, a conflict broke out between the newcomer and Avarice. Moira felt like she was going to be sick as she watched Valerian repeatedly reduce Avarice into nothing but gore. Percy was busy retching at the sight, whilst Gesh, Rex and Nali watched on in shear horror. It was terrible, brutal, exceptionally unpleasant to watch, yet despite how awful it was Moira couldn't bring herself to look away.

She heard Valerian rant about the awful things Avarice had done, and part of her felt immediately justified in what was happening to her. Yet another part of her couldn't help but think this was wrong on so many levels. Yes Avarice was a monster, yes she was psychotic, but this... mutilation felt inhumane. Furthermore it seemed like she was starting to, in her own warped way, be respectful of other life. But did these attempts excuse her past wrongs? Was it truly right to just let her live?

Whatever the answer was, the assault on Avarice ended when the group of newcomers interrupted Valerian, prompting Gesh to interject. "Hang on now! Let's not lose our heads here!" He exclaimed, his face still pale from the gory display. "Now I may not know the full details here, but as far as I know that girl helped us out and is generally harmless. You mind explaining what your beef with her is?" Gesh asked Valerian, his voice stern.

Secrets of the Raven
Branhwrn
Dawn Elissa

Dawn stood, glancing at Simon staring at her before looking back to Elizabeth. "I hope the rarity of the second chance you've been given hasn't escaped you." she said in response to her caring about mortals. "Many things I've cared about haven't been as fortunate." She considered leaving again, but decided to remain in case things went even more downhill.

Simon asked her where she was from and how she did what she did, though Dawn had a feeling that something was off with him. "I rent a condo in Shepherd's Bush, and I took a few course online." she said, though the manner she did made it clear that neither was true. "You'll have to wait to know more, I'm afraid, we're on the clock."

When the man stopped both Dawn and Zelena, Dawn continued her trend of not answering questions. "I think temporary acquaintances by necessity is closer, though if you ask me I don't think Elizabeth has very many friends so we might be as close as she comes, and I pity her if that's true."

L-Fel

Aestus almost regretted simply knocking on a random door, what if they weren't used to seeing something like him? Or worse, if they would be hostile towards him. Luckily, it was Jules, the nice woman he had met while in that other world. He didn't expect to be seeing her, or anyone else from there, anytime soon. Aestus's small epaulette shark rubbed up against Jules, purring happily.

"Oh, Jules! It's good to see you alive and well, I think whatever sent me to that other world sent me here. Any sign of the others?" He asked her. He didn't know what was quite going on, maybe other people from that universe could've been there.

"Well..." Jules looked down at the little shark and smiled, petting it with her finger. "Hello there little guy."

She kept on petting and resumed eye contact with Aestus. "Hm. I've only met Cassia so far...and now, you. I don't think anyone else has fallen into this universe yet." She yawned.

"Anyways, I must sleep, but you're welcome to come in and stay for the night. Only....I don't know if I can find a bed for you to sleep on....Cassius has already taken the couch bed."

"Cassia's here? Oh, I remember them. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, in regards to any other people," Aestus replied to Jules, shrugging with his massive shoulders. He was surprised to learn that Cassia was among them, but he didn't mind. He had good memories of messing with the oligarchs back in that old place with them. The little shark purred contently, making an excited peeping noise.

"Don't worry about it! I don't need to sleep, especially not on a bed. But anyways, what are you two up to?" He continued, trying to be courteous. He could sleep if he wanted to mentally relax, but it was by no means necessary. He did, however, want to know if anything was happening.

If you want to stay at my place while me and Cass go on the trip, then you are welcome to. Just please keep it clean."

The doctor went to make some tea, and poured it into two cups for each of them.-and a tiny thimble of tea for the shark.

"A task? I'd be glad to help, but if you don't mind, I'd like to know what it is," Aestus asked. He didn't know what else to do, and he trusted Jules, so he was willing to help her out. Whether it was her getting something she left behind abroad, or some fight against a god-killing monster, he'd be there. Sitting down, he was very heavy due to his armor, but he managed to avoid breaking the chair, and despite his height, didn't bump the ceiling. His shark accompanied him, slithering over slowly and anxiously watching Jules pour the tea.

"It's....sort of an investigation. I was tasked with finding the headquarters of a secret organization I am familiar with." Julian explained to Aestus, setting her pot down and sipping from her cup. "So, we need to head to Iowa tommorow to find our firsty lead. The most recent attack by the organization happened there." Her eyelids started to droop.

"I'm sorry, but I must go to sleep soon. Do you need anything? Perhaps a blanket or pillow?"

"An attack? I'll certainly help you, then, if it means finding the people responsible.," Aestus said, taking a sip of some of the tea. The small shark did so as well, and Aestus gave the creature a small sugar cube to nibble on. He could have asked for more information, and he wanted to, but Jules was tired, so he decided to wait until morning.

"Feel free to go sleep, I'll do fine without any of that," He added, watching the shark doze off as it continued to nibble on the sugar cube.

The Shape of the Nightmare to Come
Warp Transit to the Sonor Galaxy
Tidehunter Class Subspacer - The Astral Flame
19 hours, 16 minutes, and 18 seconds before warp exit
Two Angels Found

Image

As the bridge of the Astral Flame became frantic with quite a lot of activity due to the unintended presence of two angelic beings within the cargo hold, the Ensari who came to Azrael’s quarters was asked to lead the angel of death to where her supposed kindred were located. She then immediately contacted the captain through the natural telepathic abilities of the Ensari, and asked him if it was permissible.

The captain immediately gave it. “Permission granted. Please do so, as the two beings have been indicated to be extremely powerful. We don’t know what exactly they are capable of and what they intend to do.”

The Ensari looked back at Azrael. “The captain just gave the go signal. Let us proceed.”

Soon enough, Azrael would be led out of the oak door that marked the entrance to her room, and as they left the angel’s quarters, the lights that indicate the process of being beamed somewhere within the ship appeared all over time like floating crystals in a Caresta mine. With the push of a few buttons, Azrael and the accompanying Ensari were teleported into the cargo hold, where several of the Ensari Stormseers would be waiting for them.

“Lady Azrael,”, the lead Stormseer began. “The ones we suspect to be your kindred were detected to be somewhere around the area where the tanks are kept. We have been tasked to accompany you in case we are needed, but if they are indeed what we think they are, we trust that you can... resolve this thing with ease.”

The Shape of the Nightmare to Come
Siege of the Second Defense Perimeter of Line Okinawa
Asura
The Republic Fleet
The Intergalactic Armada

As Asura attempted to speak to the corvettes, they would only see his mouth and lips moving, but the sensors would pick up something close to a known language. The AI’s on the corvettes worked a trillion times per second as they attempted to decipher what Asura was trying to ask them. After thirty seconds, results were finally out. It read like this, “Who are you? Where am I?!”

Such questions were natural for someone who was tossed across the infinite cosmic curve, and the commander of the lead corvette, the Tanthive IX, contacted Lord Admiral Lunor Sorkaya regarding the matter. “Admiral, the entity has spoken the words, ‘Who are you? Where am I?’, based on the deciphering of our AI’s aboard. What shall we do?”

The Lord Admiral pondered his options for several moments. In his thoughts, he weighted the impact of his decision on the fleet as a whole. Eventually, he made up his mind. “Captain, have the Tanthive IX approach the man and open the docking bay. Hopefully, we can communicate properly that way.”

The Captain of the Tanthive IX nodded in response to the order given to him, but immediately followed up with a question. “And if we don’t? What if he attacks us?”

The Lord Admiral replied in earnest. “Abandon ship and have the rest of the corvettes raise shields and fire. However, I doubt that things will escalate to that level. Keep things cool, Captain. We do not know what that man is capable of.”

“Aye, Lord Admiral. It shall be done.”

The Thanthive IX then moved closer towards Asura, and opened the docking door. With the expulsion of white smoke and the clanking sound of the pieces of the door moving in open up the way, it ultimately a gesture to tell Asura to come in. One of the crew then signalled from the windows for him to come in so that they can communicate properly with each other. Hopefully, they will do just that.

Meanwhile, the Republic starfighters have successfully slain the Planetkillers assaulting the space stations on the 11th Planet, but the defences of the 9th Planet, Lunika, crumbled just as the last Planetkiller in the vicinity of Ikiywa, the 11 Planet, was killed. The Terran 18th Fleet began to fly in full retreat away from the battle of the Lunika, as a much larger Planetkiller, flanked by an armada of Hive Carriers and Devourer Class Cruisers, smashed away the orbital defences of the 9th Planet, sending their burning remains to crash upon the deserted cities and lands below. Hundreds of shipwrecks, Terran and Swarm alike, floated above Lunika, turning the verdant skyline of the planet into an ugly metal and flesh strewn graveyard of shattered warships and fleeing civilian ships. As the Terran fleet fled from Lunika upon Sorkaya’s orders, the massive Planetkiller that assaulted it began the gruesome process after which it is named. Unlike the supermassive one at the Laurentia System, which simply devoured Laurentia Tertius whole, these smaller Planetkiller, which was around 900 kilometers wide and long, would have to satisfied with doing something slower, but just as terrible to behold. The Swarm armada that flanked the creature stood aside as its tentacles began to extend towards the surface of the planet. Some dug into the mountains and the plains, and cracked seams into the crust. Others came down towards the seas, and then drank them up, hundred of millions of gallons at a time. The forests and meadows were not spared, and every bit of wildlife they had were consumed by the city sized tentacles that came smashing down unto the pristine world, turning it to a lunch fest for the Swarm. As the destruction of Lunika became bright and clear to the Terran fleet that fled from it, they contacted the Lord Admiral, and broadcasted the footage of the destruction of Lunika to every allied ship in the system. It was terrible to behold, as the writhing tentacles of the creature licked up the seas and consumed every bit of biomass that resided upon the world. In a mere fifteen minutes, the once verdant planet of the Lunika was now a barren rock. Not even the atmosphere was spared.

[/img]

As the Lord Admiral beheld the newfound power of the Swarm, he knew that the isolated forces on the tenth planet, Jior, would not survive another assault. He broadcasted an order to the entire force present in the system, and ordered every ship on the tenth and eleventh planets to fall back to the eighth planet, Shrenha, as well for all surviving space stations to commence warp jumps into position. However, just as he was done, a massive amount of warp signatures appeared near the seventh planet. In but a moment, the Terran Aragane Class Superdreadnought Shinano and the Terran Third Fleet warped into the system in an effort to further delay their enemies from stopping the Divine Annihilator. The Third Fleet and its mighty flagship sped towards the eighth planet, and moved into position alongside the six fleets present in the system.

The commander of the Third Fleet spoke thus: “Vice Admiral Sprigan Williams, at your service. The Third Fleet is here to render its assistance.”

As the Terran Third Fleet arrived, the Lord Admiral contacted the Republic Fleet again. “An enemy attack wave is incoming towards the Eighth Planet. Support the Intergalactic Navy forces in any ways you can. We have to delay the enemy as long as possible while minimising losses to our side. May the gods be with us.”

The Forbidden Act | Avarice and Tone

Valerian was in the middle of tearing Ava's heart out when Cicero put a hand on his. Who was this strange thing? What was he doing? He shrugged him off angrily, swiping his hand through the air and leaving a trail of ice and snow in front of him. The threat was clear. Step any closer, and he'd freeze Cicero like a popsicle. His skin was frigid, gathering front on his palms and face. When he got emotional, his energy draining nature seemed to shine through. Victor tossed Avarice to one side and reached out into the air, mutating a fly. It seemingly grew outward from nothing, popping into existence. It caught Ava in two enormous chitinous limbs and was about to start dismembering her when its head flew apart. Avery looked up in shock, obviously not having killed the creature herself. A group of soldiers approached him, pulling him away from his quarry and slamming him into the dirt, twisting his head so he was forced to look at them as they tried to restrain him. His eyes flashed a pure white as they approached. He briefly considered reviving the Deviljho but he was obviously at a disadvantage here. Begrudgingly, he surrendered to them and allowed Hex to approach, however cautiously.

"Oh, you don't know, do you? I can tell by the look on your face and that tint to your aura that you're afraid. You saw what she could do, right? The girl and the cat over there had the same scent about them. Listen to me, and listen to me closely. Avarice is your enemy. She is a manipulative devourer, one that's already consumed tens of thousands of universes. If you've got a shred of humanity in your heart then you'll let me go, and help me kill her."

Avarice interjected, running into the fray with barely formed limbs. Her skin was spongy and white, still foamy and slick with her own regenerated fluids. Her form was inconsistent and flat, like she lacked enough substance to even exist in three dimensions. The shallow, pale skinned stick figure stood in front of Valerian, shielding him from the soldiers standing behind him. He strained to reach her but was pushed to the ground again by the reavers standing over him. She was right there! His entire life's purpose, everything he'd done - would it all be for nothing, simply because these ignorant pillocks refused to acknowledge him!? They'd seen her nearly shatter reality for Christ's sake!

"Get the fuck down here and die! What are you, so weak that you have to trick these people into thinking you're one of them!? I knew you were a coward. A thousand empty universes, gone because you were peckish. You're a monster. You don't deserve to live. You don't deserve to be here!"

Ava was stoic, if nothing else. She held her arms at her side and stared at the soldiers lined up in front of her, unfaltering in her regard. She was in no condition to be protecting anyone, much less the man who most wanted her dead. Her skin seemed paper thin, just barely hiding away the roiling clouds inside her body. The hole in her chest refused to heal, instead leaking droplets of black fluid which hissed and steamed on the ground. She stared them down with utter conviction, seemingly fixated on saving Tone's life even if it meant the end of her own. Her entire body trailed little white speckles, as if a mere drop of water could wash her away. She looked down at the knife in her hand, still somehow attached to her even after the ordeal with Valerian. She tossed it aside in disgust, wiping blood off her hand. She was tired of seeing things die.

"Just... fine. Take him, or me. If you want me dead then I won't stop you. I've killed a lot of people and I'm only beginning to understand what I did. I trust your judgement more than mine, if I'm perfectly honest."

Tone struggled on the ground, freezing and killing the grass around him. The guards standing over him held him down, even despite the lines of frost creeping up their arms. They hoisted him up by his shoulders and began to lead him away, prompting him to tilt his head back and shout as he walked with them, half-heartedly straining against his restraints.

"Can you shut up? Your stupid, honestly cringeworthy pleas for mercy aren't going to work. Everyone here sees through you. You're a cancer, and I'll be the scalpel if nobody else will!"

She watched him disappearing into the distance, standing perfectly still. She waited until he was well out of sight before moving again, regaining some colour and texture. Her face was downcast and sterile, contemplative and serene. The fluttering of her jacket in the wind felt lighter than usual, like it was simply going through the motions for the sake of courtesy. She stepped up to Moira and gave her an eye, unflinching and unblinking. Ava's eyes swirled with inscrutable thoughts. Yet, for all the almost ethereal lightness her movements implied her gaze was firm as ever. Those windows into her core were an immovable inertia. Her physical anchor. She clenched her fist and lowered her head slightly, letting her hair conceal her eyes.

"Was it you?"

She tried to say more, but she couldn't find the words. All the knowledge and speed in the world amounted to nothing. She stood and listened to the breeze and the faint sound of birds in the distance. Then finally, she spoke again, quietly and softly.

"I don't blame you."

She walked past the hunter and sat down beneath a tree, looking at an AEGIS soldier lying in the grass being tended to by doctors and friends. Her posture was clear, for once in her life. She did not want to be talked to.

The Third Wizarding War | Polly

Polly was having a grand old time, running through a chaotic, screaming horde of magical children, guards and teachers. How had this happened? Less than half a day ago she'd been talking with Marcus, sitting in a rocky valley and cataloguing runes. Now, she was trying to avoid imprisonment by some kind of magical establishment in a world of technological regression suffering from some kind of incursion by an extradimensional force. A wayward spell slipped past her barrier, nearly catching her on the shoulder. She twisted around in frustration, finally deciding to take a more proactive role in their defence. She began pushing people aside more aggressively, hitting people in the chest and head if they were looking a bit too aggressive. She regarded Miria with a more tense and formal voice, trying to maintain the situation; but the pressure on the fence was beginning to crush her.

"I don't know where we're going. Just head for the exit, we'll try making our way to the base we saw earlier. If anything, I'm sure I can negotiate with them more easily than the witch back there. I think she's a lost cause!"

TheThird Wizarding War
Miria

Miria dodged a stray spell, stumbling, but quickly fixing herself and carrying on. Things certainly were getting hairy...

"What about the others?", She asked, still close behind Polly. "Do you think we can even trust the other Humans? And how will we get out of here without Madi?"
Getting out without Madi and her crystal would definitely be hard. Sure, they could possibly flee the castle, but neither of them seemed to know where in the world they would go after that. They could possibly ally themselves with the strangers outside, but would they even be able to help, or want to? Or what if they were also hostile? Miria wasn't too sure about trusting anyone; at the very least, they could see them in an "enemy of my enemy" sort of light, but that was still an uncertainty...

She sure hoped that Polly would be able to get them out quickly, and that those other Humans were friendlier than the magic users...

Douglas
Misty Peaks
The Forbidden Act

Doug shook Gesh's hand and then corrected Nali.
"You got the name almost correct, it's Sheikah. With an h at the end."
He then addressed Gesh.
"Thanks for offering to help. i want to at least contact back home and tell everyone about what's happened, if I can contact them, maybe you could speak to them?"

Doug then left the group and returned to where he had stashed the Master Cycle, uncovered it, got it upright and walked it back to the clearing, only to see a woman sitting on the ground up against a tree and some of the AEGIS soldiers leading away a man that seemed to be going on about killing someone.
He watched the scene for a moment before walking his bike over to Gesh and the others.
"What was that about? Anyway, if you're wondering what this is, this is the Master Cycle Zero, I just call it the Master Cycle, it's another invention by the Sheikah."

Umbridge raised her wand and glared daggers at the three newcomers.
"You're trying to test me, testing to see how far you can go before you do something."
The woman then held out a hand for some reason.
"...Are.....Are you a Diplomat?"
Being one to not sour public relations, even if they were Muggles, Umbridge cautiously shook the woman's hand.
And was shocked.
Umbridge yelled and sent a spell towards the guards and the man fighting over Madi. The man was knocked out and taken away as well as Madi. Umbridge then towered over the two remaining 'guests'.
"Let me make this clear, the only reason I haven't carted you off to the dungeons is because-"
She didn't get to finish, for all around the Great Hall, students began to riot, fighting guards and pro ministry people alike.
Umbridge was soon forgotten about and all she could do was stand there and scream.
She really did she resemble a screeching toad as she began to throw a tantrum, randomly casting spells in any direction, not caring who or what they hit.
If Polly and Miria for the memo, they would escape and get as far from Umbridge as they could.

just then, a loud banging was heard throughout the castle. Umbridge made her walk out of the Great Hall without much incident and left her guards to fend for themselves as she walked to the main enternace doors. She opened them and found herself staring at.......Someone.
"May I help you?"

When Umbridge opened the doors War ignored her and just walked in, and immediately his focus turned to to three women, these women were Miranda, Miria and Polly. Their auras were off compared to everyone else in this castle, excluding him. “Your not supposed to be here.” The red rider growled at the three women, and aimed his gauntlet at him, firing the abyssal chain to try and pull them to him. He wouldn’t hurt them if they had a good reason for being in a place they shouldn’t belong, and if he liked their reasoning he could let them go and go home.

The Third Wizarding War
Hogwarts

When Miranda saw that the giant in armor sent out chains the woman was surprised that somehow how he can see her; yet with her mind reeling in shock on being discovered her subconscious and body reacted on their own as the woman jumped out of the way of the chains and rolled on the floor. She quickly got on one foot and her knee and took out her pistol and began opening fire on War. Seeing that the bullets did nothing to harm him she took out a smoke grenade and threw it at him, the metal object exploding into a cloud of thick smoke.

The woman began to ran back into the fight and threw students and staff at War, using them as decoys should he throw more chains at her. Miranda reload her gun and open fired at War once more even as she ran back to the hall; students and staff panicking from the loud bang coming from nowhere.

Back with Carlos and his team their esper was still down but as the group waited for help they heard screaming coming from the room close by. Pressing their eyes they heard the students screaming along with stuff falling down and a terrible screeching. The group thought on whether or not to go out and help the students but as they heard the screaming now out on the hall and some of them being pleads for helps along with cries of pain and horror the team knew that their choice was already made. Making one last check with their equipments the team all nodded and Carlos ran to the door and kick it open, leading the team out of the room.

The group saw students running out of one of the classrooms with some being horribly burned, some burned so bad they had to be carried by other students. The students saw the group wearing dark clothing and armor using odd tools walk towards them. "What happened?" One of them told a student. "A monster attacked us!" A crying student shouted. "We were learning enchantments when this thing came out from the closet and started attacking us. It killed the substitute professor after he tried to protect us and it attacked some of us when they try to stop it from eating his body." The student told the group.

One of the soldiers told the students to leave and to tell any other students in the other classrooms to stay in the rooms. As the students ran away the squad went into the room. "Jesus Christ." One if the agents said as they saw the room. The desks and chairs were all turn over and flipped, some obviously flipped during the panicked flight out of the room and others like the desk were flipped to act as a barrier to protect those using them from the horror in the room. The floor was littered with papers and books along with other items the students have. Yet on the floor was black sticky tar-like slime that also covered the desk and stained the walls and even the ceiling; the slime produced a foul rotten odor, yet it wasn't the only thing producing the putrid and sickening sweet scent of decay. On the floor were the bodies of three students, all three covered in the black ooze but all have suffered from horrific burns similar to those exposed to sulfuric acid.

On the center of the room they found the body of the professor. Walking closer they found a hole cleaning cut through his head from his forehead, they found another hole that went from his chest to his abdomen but where as the killing blow was cleanly cut the second hole was much more crude and feral; it was as if an animal gutted him open after a machine killed him. He too was covered in the same black fluid, in fact they found it inside both holes in his body. Just as they were thinking of investigating the other bodies and the professor more closely the agents heard something moving from the desks to the professor's left. The agents aimed their weapons at the spot. They moved carefully to the area they would still hear noise coming from the desks. Once they reach the desks they found another student, covered in the black fluids and horribly burned yet somehow still conscious even though they looked to be in shock.

"Bloody hell how is that kid is still alive?" One of them asked as one agent down to check on the boy. The boy looked at the agent who was going to try and treat him and from his mouth more of the black fluid puked out of his mouth and flew to the agent, hitting on his face with enough force to make him fall on his ass. As the fluid tested on the agent's face it immediately began to harden and become sticky; the body who puked the fluid kept on spilling out more as his other orifices began to ooze out more of the fluids as he began to convulse on the floor, his body producing steam as patches of his body and clothing began to dissolve as more black fluids ooze out of his body.

Two agents tried to cut off the sticky substance off their comrade but found that not only could their knives not cut deep into the slime but their blades became stuck as well. One agent saw what was happening to the boy and knowing that there was nothing they can do to save him the agent reluctantly aim their rifle at the body and fired a single shot to his head, making the body jerk for the final time as it became limp, a pool of blood forming around the head. "I swear if I find whatever did this I will fucking kill it!" The agent said, disgusted at himself for what he just done. "Hopefully we can find it before it can attack again." Carlos said, looking around the room as he suspect that whatever did it was still in the room.

The door to the room suddenly closed and as the agents ran towards it to open the door they found they couldn't open the door, unaware that at the other end the same black slime that was on one of their comrades face was now at the doorknob at the other side keeping them trap. The thing that made it was now it in the hall looking for the next classroom to attack as the agents binged against the door to break it open.

The Third Wizarding War | Polly

Polly was in the middle of pushing past a group of men when something large and very angry burst open the door and started looking at her. Abyssal chains shot from its hand toward her and she flung herself to the side, using a barrier of iron to shove aside a few dozen people as her body seemingly moved of its own accord, landing hard on her shoulder. The chains embedded themselves in the ground where she'd just been standing and she saw her opportunity. This had been going on for too long. If she was going to get out she was going to do it on her terms. She drew her pistol and shot into the crowd, aiming for the legs of the guards who seemed to be on Umbridge's side. She used her other hand to fling blobs of metal at War, aiming to stun him long enough to get to safety. She reached out to Miria;

"Come on! Run for the exit! I'll be right behind you!"

"Alright, thanks for coming then." Julian smiled at Aestus. "I'm afraid I'll have to go to bed. See you tommorow." She left to go upstairs and sleep.

Aestus would be left alone with his shark and a sleeping Cass.

Azrael manifested her spear as they went into the cargo hold. "Since they're angels, good chance they know me, and I can use my authority to make them listen to me. Unless....it's those two."

She walked into the hold with her companion, listening. All seemed silent...until....

A swift kick struck her side, and sent Azrael hurtling into a pile of cargo. Another noise rang out-

"Camael, no!"

Azrael's reflexes allowed her to rise almost immediately and she swung her spear down on whoever punched her. Camael reeled back as she was whacked in the head with the wooden bit. Artiya'il rushed to Camael's side, putting himself in the middle of the two Angels. "Stop."

"You're coming back with me." Azrael pushed him aside roughly as she pulled out a rope from her dress. Camael summoned her fire sword and charged at the Angel of death. "I'll kill you."

In a blur of color, Azrael had knocked Camael's sword away and put the angel in bindings. "Alright, that's settled."

Camael growled.

Cicero sighed in relief as Avarice was revived. At least no one died....

He watched Avarice walk over to the wounded AEGIS soldier. She seemed to be upset. He decided to walk over as well, and he sat next to her, quiet. He didn't want to get near the commotion with Valerian. It was causing him a headache.

Secret of the Raven

Glancing upwards with narrowed eyes the witch refrained from responding to the noise around her, her mind scrambling to process what on Earth was happening. That creature which attacks her, and this strange sorceress with the power to influence the flow of time.

Pushing herself to her feet and promptly dusting off her clothing. She ignored Elizabeth, for the most part, honing in only on the detail that the creature was a demon. That would explain how it managed to get the drop on her, but she had never even encountered a demon with such characteristics. Most certainly nothing like that Chernabog or the Wraiths from the Underworld.

Her gaze drifted and stayed on the sorceress with time powers. Curious about the extent of her abilities-Could she perhaps rewinds time as easily as she managed to stop it? She might’ve misjudged how powerful the witches of this realm were in actuality. This one, in particular, most certainly seemed to be a worthy asset.

She most certainly had no affiliation with the dark-haired woman, who she assumed was Elizabeth based upon her interaction with yet another newcomer, but she refrained from correcting the man instead sneering at him once their eyes connected. Her interest in this sorceress who had the apparent power to break the laws of magic itself without any form of ritual, keeping her complacent for now.

Folding her arms over her chest she took a few steps so that she was no at Elizabeth’s side. “You can call me Zelena” She finally introduced. “You have some interesting acquaintance dear.” She muttered at a lowered volume, glancing first at the time sorceress before focusing on the strange man. Something was off about this one, more so than the rest of individuals who congregated within this establishment.

The Wizarding War
Madi
Hogwarts Dungeons
Cell #5

Distant explosions. People yelling. un-explainable gunshots.
Madi's eyes flew open and she shot upright, then fell back to rest against the stone brick wall. Someone was lying against her and when she turned her head, she saw Marcus.
"Hi. You're....too close?"
She moved away from him and got up, then summoned hand magic.
"...There's wards against wand magic, but not hand magic....It's almost as if they don't know I can do this..."
Madi fired a spell that caused the cell door to explode and she froze.
"...Hope no one else heard that."
She then walked up to Marcus and knelt down in front of him.
"I don't know when we can exactly get out of here, but in the meantime, do you want to do another memory session?"

Umbridge
Main Entrance Hall

The fat pink toad stared after the giant armored man as he merely walked past her, then she shook her head and started screaming.
"YOU! YOU DON'T JUST WALK AWAY FROM ME, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!"
She ran after the man, still screaming.

The Third Wizarding War
Miria

Miria nearly jumped to the ceiling when the new, very angry man burst in. He was scary, not least of all due to his appearance, nor all the chains, but that wasn't the only thing that made him frightening to her; it was also the fact that he knew they didn't belong. He was like the other magic users, wasn't he? The thought crossed Miria's mind, except even then, he wasn't like the witches an wizards either. Was he a demon, or some sort of other being?

Just thinking about it nearly made her freeze, but it was Polly's cry that snapped Miria back to reality. She bolted, almost instinctively, to make up the distance again. A chain narrowly missed her, and the burst of air behind it practically chilled her back, convincing Miria not to slow down now matter what. She was going to just keep following Polly, not quite sure where she was going, but only hoping that they would be able to get far away from everything that was happening around them. She hoped that they'd get far away soon as well, before she got too tired; She wasn't quite used to running so fast, or in such a stressful situation, and her backpack wasn't doing much except weighing her down.

Madi & Marcus
Dream-scrape

Marcus was a bit put off by Madi's casual destruction. Maybe it was the fact that she'd just burst a solid door with no repercussions, or the fact that she seemed utterly calm amidst the sound of distant explosions and the threat of imminent death. She seemingly knew her way around things here though. Maybe this was just a regular weekday?
"Well, if you think we have time for that, then sure. Go ahead."
Madi nodded and lifted her hands to Marcus' face again.
"Ready?"
Without waiting for an answer, Madi said the word and everything went white.

The first thing they saw was a rickety house and out the front stood a young... human? It was hard to tell.
"Hi, Marcus. Oh, you brought a friend with you this time?"
The figure spoke with an almost forced ease, as if it were struggling to remain as relaxed as possible. Marcus knew the feeling. He looked over the embodiment of the voice in his head, the cropped brown hair and the pale-ish skin. The colours were a bit off; for one thing, its eyes were far too bright a shade of blue to be normal.
"Oh, hey there, uhh..."
"Mnemosyne. There's not much to call myself up here besides 'John Doe', you know? I still can't remember if this is how I really looked though, or if that was my name. I think I'm the girl in these memories though, just like Marc thinks he's the boy? There's not really any other possibilities."
Marcus shrugged and turned to Madi.
"Well, this is my friend Nemmy. Shares a name with a girl in my memories, not sure if it's the same person. How about we get on with it?"
"What are you? Some sort of....subconscious? A memory made physical? messing with people's minds is dangerous, but I guess you know that."
She turned to Marcus.
"Yeah. by the way we're safe as long as we're here. Nothing's going to happen to us, at least until we leave here....wherever here is...."
"Not sure what I am. I'm stuck up here, watching things happen. Sometimes I get to talk to Marcus, though he forgets me every time we finish talking. It's complicated.
"Well if we've got nothing to worry about then we might as well get a move on."

Marcus stepped forward and pushed open the door, holding the knob for a second as he remembered the creases in the wood. Each individual scratch and indentation, memorised like gospel. He had to remind himself that this was only a memory, not reality.
Beyond lay a series of dusty tables and carpets covered in lint and dirt. Some house this was.
"So do you know what happens next?"
"Yeah. I think."
He looked at the stairs, up into the attic. He didn't know what was up there but he was sure, once he saw it, he'd kick himself for ever forgetting. He made his way up the steps, trailed by Nem and Madi.
He undid the rusted latch and pushed open the trapdoor, disturbing a cloud of grey powder. The room they entered smelled of wood glazing and stagnant water, mixed in with the aroma of malaise.
"Marcus, is that you?"
"Yes, mom. I'm here."
"Where's your friend? Nem. That was her name, right?"
"She's... not around."
"What time is it? It feels like it's getting pretty late."
He paused, unsure of what to say. Was he being given a choice, or was this indecisiveness part of the memory? One thing was certain. She'd called him Marcus. That meant these memories belonged to the person he'd named himself after.
"It's midnight. You should get some sleep."
"Yes. I suppose I should."
The frail woman on the bed closed her eyes and Marcus finally took control of his body again, free from the constraints of what he remembered. Her skin was grey and saggy, her hair was white with little speckles of brown at the roots. These memories carried no emotion, but he still felt sad for the being lying in bed.

Madi merely followed Marcus through the dusty house, up the stairs, and into the attic. She merely watched as Marcus remembered his mother and in the silence that followed, spoke.
"....Your name is Marcus, if what this woman said is true. Was she really your mother? She looks so old...."`
"Yeah. She seems a bit old to be my mother, since I'm... the owner of the memory is supposed to be young."
Mnemosyne raised a finger, drawing their attention to herself again. She looked more feminine now, with longer hair and more regular skin. It seemed she was using Madi as a muse by which to judge what a normal human looked like.
"Didn't Mnemosyne... the girl in the memory say she was sick? Earlier in the memory, I overheard someone mentioning that."
"Guess you're right. Is that the end of the memory, or can you show us more?"
Nem paused, seemingly conflicted.
"... No. I don't think there's anything left for you here. This is the furthest I've gotten with my own memories. Sorry."
Marcus sighed and gave her a weary smile.
"Ah, that's fine. Madi, should we skedaddle? I think the rest of the team might be in trouble."
Madi nodded and raised her hands.
"Hold still."
A second later, they were back in the cell, the explosions were slightly closer now and Madi helped Marcus up.
"Let's get out of here, shall we?"

The Third Wizarding War

From the abandoned classroom the half caucasian and asian woman let out a painful groan as she regain consciousness. The woman rose up and as she open her eyes she saw that her surroundings were different. She tried to recall what happened to her as she got up, rubbing her sore forehead. What she can remember was finding the drones in a courtyard and the team finding the entrance in utter chaos; the next thing the woman can recall was a ball of light flying towards her follow by everything going dark.

"I guess that light knocked me out. But that doesn't explain on what happened to the others?" The woman looked around and while investigating the room heard loud gunshots. Taking out her rifle the woman exited the room. Searching through the hall she would see that some of the doors were slightly open with children and teens peaking through to watch the woman. She looked at them from the corner of her eyes but for the most part ignored them as she made her way deeper to the source of the gun shots. The woman heard more gunshots and soon began to sprint down the halls to find the source.

The woman would hear the sound of something metallic falling on to the floor and a door being kicked open. As quickly as she heard those noises she would find the other agents exiting a classroom. The other agents turn to look at their esper. "Nice to see your awake Amarah, was worried that thing might have gotten you."

Of course Amarah wasn't her real name as most agents use code names to hide their identity, but she often wonder how many agents just used their real name hoping that most would expect to think it wasn't? "What thing?" Carlos lead the esper to the room and let her see what they found. Amarah was surprised to see the state the room was in and the bodies, even more one of the bodies was one if their own. "Suffocation. We tried to remove that gunk but it was stuck to him. Nothing we did could get it off him." Carlos told her, follow by sharing everything else they found out that occured in the room. The walked to a patch of the black liquid, debating on whether to try and take a sample of it.

Yet her thoughts ended when one agent enter the room to deliver news. "Our target left a trail for us to follow." He told the two other agents. The duo looked at each other for a brief second before both left the room. Out on the hall they found that the other agents found drops of the black liquid that made a trail fir them to follow the movement of the monster. The agents began to fall the trail, most hoping to find it before it can attack again. Once more in the halls they found some doors open just wide enough for the occupants inside to peak through to see the agents running by. Most of the agents wanted to tell the students to close the doors, to warn them of the monster. But with so many they would have to stop just to warn they would give the monster enough time to attack another classroom.

Yet even with this concern the screaming they heard coming down the hall told all of them that they were too late. The agents would quickly spot a door thrown on the floor, pieces of the old hinges strewn about the floor. As they all enter the classroom they all saw the familiar sight, black fluids and slime covering the room. However now they found many injured and terrified students in the room and many more dead, some killed by their burns and others by suffocation by the slime. The professor hung on the blackboard and unlike the other wasn't gutted but with most of his body covered by the harden slime, leaving only his lower arms and legs free, his death was no less worse. The agents quickly found that around the windows was more of the fluids with the glass being shattered, their target fleeing through it.

"Great we are either dealing with a flyer or wall climber, either way our chances against this thing just got worse." Agent Dimitri grimly stated. Carlos didn't say anything back as he too wasn't liking their odds of success. They will need to get a proper team to deal with this situation but getting out of the castle would be difficult with the fight going on at the entrance. Dmitri looked at the students who looked mostly scared then injured. "If any you guys can still walk than take your still living buddies down to the infirmary now." The students were too scared the move. The agent repeating himself in a more authoritative tone made them snap out of their fear induce paralyze and began to help carry out the injured students.

Amarah watch the students leave. "We need to get help. Not just from our end but we need to tell the school faculty what is going on." She told the others. The agents looked at their esper with surprise. "There is no point in hiding our presence now sense we left behind plenty of witnesses to testify on seeing us. We might as well make ourselves know and try to help each other sense we are dealing with the same enemy right now." As the agents argued about Amarah's proposal down in the great hall another team that was invisible followed War inside the castle. They too were hit by the smoke grenade thrown by Miranda yet they used it to their advantage to get out once they realize that War would have tried to capture them as well.

As the smoke dissipate a few student would run to Umbridge. One in tears will tell her about how a strange monster attacked them and their friends during a class, killing some of the students and professor. Another would tell her about seeing people in strange dark clothing holding strange devices been seen running around in the hall and going to the classes that the monster attack, the student holding the broken drone showing Umbridge the machine and yelling her that they think they are muggles and that the machine is most likely theirs.

War didn’t stop when the pink toad yelled at him. Instead he told her in a lie voice,”I don’t give a shit about who you are human, you try to stop me from doing my job and you will regret crossing a horseman of the apocalypse.” Then he overheard the students tell Umbridge what they saw/heard. Not stopping in his stride he followed the trail of aura into what looked like a grand hall, not caring about the others at the moment. “In the name of the charred Council, I, War, horseman of the apocalypse demand you to come out and explain why you are where you’re not supposed to. And tell me what you brought with you if you don’t want to spend the rest of eternity in the abyss.”

L-Fel
It was 8:00 AM. Julian woke up and got dressed. She brushed her teeth, started to pack a few of her belongings, and went to make breakfast.

Jules started up her rice cooker, and brought eggs and bacon from her fridge. She sizzled the bacon on her frying pan and watched as the lard melted in the pan. Meanwhile, she brought out some berries and emptied them into a bowl. Jules brought the bowl over to her kitchen sink and soaked the fruit in water for five minutes.

Jona was not downstairs. He must have been picked up by Konny earlier.

Jules took the bacon from the pan with chopsticks and set them down on a paper towel-covered plate. She cracked eggs on top of the lard, and watched intently as the whites became opaque. Jules turned her attention back to the berries and dumped the water while she used her hand to keep the fruit in. She placed the bowl on the dining table, and carefully set the eggs down on another plate with a spatula. She had cooked 4 eggs for herself and her guests, and enough bacon to feed a crowd as well as plenty of fruit. She placed a carton of milk and juice on the table with 4 cups.

Satisfied with her work, Jules went into the living room to see how her guests were doing.
