Elizabeth knew that her question had the response she expected from him, while he was trying to deflect his worry with his words his aura told a different story; he was surprised she was close to figuring something about him. Do they have color and if so are they all white or do they come in different colors like blue, green, yellow, or red? Can a soul remain here after death and can you move it from one body to the next?" She said, sounding as though she was pondering the answer to a question while throwing out some key words to describe how she felt about the man's aura to see his reaction.

Turning around to face him her smile return. "I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth Ashwood and the little fairy princess here is my niece Sayaka Miki. My sister who is living in Japan asked if she was fine with her daughter visiting me for her winter break and I told her it was fine since we rarely meet each other." She told Greed. She had plenty of time to make up the lie while waiting for Sayaka to be done with the questioning. "As for why we were in the polivecstation we found a wallet with both a lot of money and a credit card inside and Sayaka wanted to turn off over to the police. The crest is as they say history" the witch told him as she turn around, facing her back to him.

Secrets of the Raven
Sayaka Miki

Sayaka looked at the cup of tea she was in the middle of drinking with a forlorn look. She had restrained herself to taking, small, dainty sips since she figured that if she was in England drinking tea, she might as well do it with as much pomp as possible. However, she had forgotten that she would leave this nice comfy room eventually, and so found that she wasn't even halfway through with her drink yeah! With a heavy heart, she drank the contents of her teacup in one swig, cheeks red from the act. She'd have to say sorry to Hitomi once she got back home.

Cybraxia wrote:As they entered the alley, Greed eyed the alley warily. What's she doing? And finally, at her question, Greed's eye's widened in confusion. Did she know something already? No... no it had to be about the girl. "S-souls? Why, whatever do you mean? I mean, I'm not particularly spiritual, or knowledgeable about them. Any reason for bringing them up?"

Normally, Sayaka would have taken offense to being called a kid, but Elizabeth did help her out so she'd let it slide for now. Her patience wasn't unlimited however, and by the time the detective called her 'Warrior Princess', Sayaka was about to send her a very strongly worded warning only to be stopped by the mention of Souls. Sayaka froze there, expecting the next word to be Gem. Thankfully, the Chinese man's reaction served as a good distraction and the Magical Girl quickly turned to question him instead. "What's your name anyways?" The girl did her best to look confident, but Elizabeth's next word just happened to be...

Sayaka's mouth was left open after that, not quite sure what to say at such a bald faced lie. Ni-niece?! I didn't agree to any of this!

Rise of the Masked Man
The fuck is a glavenus? Ty wondered to himself.

Ty thought for a moment when the issue of towels was brought up.
"I think I can do ya one better."

The red patches on the back of Ty's neck heated up and glowed, as Ty rose his body temperature, heating the room considerably.
"It shouldn't take long at this rate to dry your clothes out..." Ty figured. "I figured this would be better, 'cause we don't have enough towels for everyone."

"As for who we are," Gold interjected, "You can call me Gold, and this is Ty, my brother. We're the regional champions for Pokemon battling, a fighting sport. We've gotten kinda famous for it."

The man thought for a moment. It was clear that they weren't from any universe with Pokemon, so he had to explain what they were. He mentally struggled with this, as explaining the concept of creatures that lived in your world since the dawn of time was akin to trying to explain what plants were.

"Uh... I guess you don't know what Pokemon are... They're creatures that can tap into a kind of life energy, that other animals can't, and use it for all kinds of attacks..."

Then, Madison began looking Ty over.
"Uh... I mean, I know I'm buff, but I don't think I'm all that larger than normal..." he said, confused.

Gold placed a hand to his chin.
"She probably means, like, actual badgers." he explained. For emphasis, he brought his hands close to each other, as if to describe the size of a badger in the air in front of him. He turned to Madison. "Ty's a typhlosion, a kind of fire-type Pokemon native to this region."

Ty's ears twitched, curiously.
"Wait up, so that means basic animals exist in her universe, but Pokemon don't?"
"Yeah, I guess so..."

Muffet giggled, replying to Link.
"It's fine, dearie. You can call me Muffet. Nice to meet you."

She extended one of her hands forward, as a greeting.

Gold turned to Avarice.
"Oh, it's not supposed to get like this today. This storm literally came out of nowhere." he said, clearly unsure of how the storm even formed. "You see, we're actually a ways below the mountain's snow line, so I'm guessing something else is causing the storm."

There was a pause, as Gold listened to the freezing rain outside. It seemed to be pouring; One could no longer discern individual rain drops on the top of the tent, instead only hearing a sheet of constant white noise.

"The storm's getting a lot stronger... I'd say if something's causing this, it's coming this way, and quickly."

"And for why we're here..." Ty added, simply. "Gold and I are doing physical training. Y'know, sports."

He paused in thought for a moment.
"I honestly have no fuckin' clue why any of you guys are here..." he said. "But yeah, we'll help you find your way back home, so you can finish..."

Ty eyed up Avarice, trying to hold his judgement back from being plastered on his face.
"...Whatever you were doing."

"Yeah!" Gold said, excitedly. "We'll make sure all of you guys can find your way home..."

His expression changed, becoming a bit less excited.
"But, uh... I have no idea how. And... We'll have to deal with whatever angry god seems to be coming our way." he stated, with a hint of sarcasm.

After Gold finished, the group could hear the very faint sound of a van's brakes being applied, as it seemed a group of vehicles somewhere outside had come to a stop.

There was a knock on the roof of the tent near the door, and a man called out.
"Hello? Anyone here?"

Gold approached the tent's door, unzipping it partially to peer outside. The man was wearing a some kind of black uniform, with a thick white labcoat and a rain hat. Gold eyed up the man, and glanced at the two SUV's and the white weather van in the background.
"Yo?" he asked.

"Hello! Uh... Oh! You're Champion Gold, correct?"
"Uh, yeah..." Gold responded, unsure why the man was asking. "So, uh, who are you?"
"Oh, sorry. I'm with the National Ecological Preservation Committee. We're studying the current weather phenomenon. We just wanted to make sure you all were doing alright... But, it seems there's nothing to worry about, seeing as you're the Champion. I'm sure you can hold your own."

"Oh, uh, thanks."

The man left the doorway, and Gold closed the tent. He turned to Ty, inquisitively.
"Yo, who was that?"
"Some guy from the 'National Ecological Preservation Committee'..."
"Uh, bro... That sounds pretty bogus. I don't think they work on Mt. Silver." he said, skeptically.
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Like, Mt. Silver's under its own jurisdiction, so it would make more sense for their own organization to..." he trailed off, sensing something was wrong outside.

The two looked at the entrance to the tent, confused. Suddenly, the entire wall of the tent lit up, as the sound of an SUV's motor became louder.

Gold's heart seemed to leap out of his chest; As quickly as one could blink, Ty tore his way through the front of the tent, not taking the time to use the zipper.

Ty slammed into the front of the SUV, arms wrapped around the front, leaning into the two-ton vehicle. With a loud grunt, Ty dug his feet into the muddy ground. Flames burst from the back of his neck, as Ty used Strength to fight against the weight of the vehicle. The SUV's tires squealed loudly, and the engine roared as the SUV fought against Ty, ultimately digging itself into the dirt. The back of Ty's fur seemed to flare out slightly, as he gave the loud, seemingly two-toned war cry of his species. As the SUV dug into the dirt, gaining traction, Ty held firm, pushing down on the hood of the vehicle, struggling to keep it in place, as he slowly began sliding backwards; It was a stalemate, between Ty and the SUV forcing each other, ever so slowly, deeper into the mud.

By now, Gold and Muffet had exited the tent.

"What the fuck!?" Gold shouted, in shock. It took him only a few seconds to realize that the 'NEPC' was trying to run their tent down. "Ty, thunderpunch!"

The fire erupting from Ty's neck was replaced by crackling electricity, as his right fist glowed a whitish-yellow, likewise covered in arcing electricity. The badger slammed his fist into the middle of the hood of the SUV with an angry grunt, caving it in and striking the engine. The was a loud crack, and the motor gave a loud whine, sputtering to a halt. The lights of the SUV flickered, before the bulbs blew out, shattering. A large crack could be seen etched vertically up the front windshield.

By this time, several men wearing black uniforms had stepped out of the SUVs and the white van. Most of them held small red and white spheres, about the size of a baseball.

The air around them no longer seemed frigid; in fact, the rain coming down in the group's vicinity seemed to evaporate before getting too close, causing a layer of fog and hot steam to form around the ground. If one was observant, they could tell that Ty was the source of this heat.

This is bad... Gold thought to himself. It seemed that there were about twenty Team Rocket grunts standing around them, and the only Pokemon Gold had on hand was Ty. Can we really fight off all of these guys...?

Drawn Through the Multiverse
Opening Post
Kongou felt her processing systems slow down to a crawl for what felt like an eternity; Her systems were scrambled, and she felt overwhelmed by the scrambled, meaningless mess of data coming from her sensory equipment.

Not soon enough, Kongou's ship came out through the other end of the rift, Maya soon following her.

The two ships landed in the water of a planet below them; Again, it was an oddly Earth-like world, with clean blue water, light blue skies, and clouds that looked like cotton.

Kongou stood up from her chair, and began to pitch backward. Tadayoshi was barely able to stand up, before Kongou caught herself using the back of her chair.

"Kongou!?" Tadayoshi exclaimed, worry pervading his voice.
"Ugh... I'm... I'm fine." Kongou reassured, standing up straight.
"...What was that? What happened?" Tadayoshi asked, still concerned.
"Going through that rift overloaded my sensors... I should be fine now, everything seems to have recalibrated."

Kongou looked at Tadayoshi; He was still soaking wet from ocean water, and a puddle had formed under where he had sat.

This entire time, he hasn't complained about being soaked in seawater, but that can't be comfortable...

Kongou thought for a moment, approximating Tadayoshi's measurements by sight, then created some plain clothes out of her nanomaterials-A pair of jeans, a purple t-shirt, some socks and underwear, and boots. She handed the dry clothes to the man.

"Here. You can wear these until your clothes are dry."

Tadayoshi took the clothes, nodding to Kongou with a smile.
"Thanks."

He turned to leave the bridge, then remembered that he had no idea where anything was on the ship. He spun around to face Kongou again.
"Um, could you tell me where the bathroom is?"

Kongou nodded, and created a trail of light on the floor for the man to follow, which would lead to a now existing bathroom.

Once the superhuman was out of the bridge, Kongou was left to her own thoughts, in silence.
...If this occurred even a week ago, I don't think I would have cared about this man's comfort... she thought, a mix of confusion and concern running through her mind. I wouldn't have made clothes, or tea... These are humans' savoir-faire...

Kongou sat down, continuing her thoughts.
Is the Fog becoming more human?

A mix of emotions ran through Kongou at the possibility. Curiosity, fear, bewilderment, frustration; If the Fog was becoming more human, how would that affect them? Would it be good or bad? Kongou certainly didn't have the answers.

She looked out through the window of her bridge, and saw Maya. She was playing happily with her piano on her bow, without a care in the world. Sometimes, Kongou wondered if Maya was still oblivious to the changes in the Fog, or had simply accepted them and already moved on.

[Maya.]
[Yes, Kongou~?] Maya greeted enthusiastically.
[...When Tadayoshi is finished changing, meet us on my bow.]
[Okay!]

Tadayoshi made his way through the ship; Aside from the purple line of light streaking across the floor, the ship was unlit.
Wow, this is darker than I expected... the man thought, making his way through the cramped halls of the battleship.

Soon enough, he made it to the bathroom that Kongou had prepared. By contrast, it was well lit, and spotless. It was small, but not nearly as cramped as the halls of the ship. The man set the clothes on the lid of the toilet, and turned to face the mirror. He paused when he saw his reflection-He was still soaking wet, and looked more tired than he felt.

Tadayoshi looked himself in the eyes, and sighed.
"One hell of a day..." he muttered to himself. "At this rate, I'm probably never going back home."

For a moment, this weighed on him, as he realized that he couldn't rely on random rifts to take him where he wanted. But what options were there?

Then again, he did just prove the multiverse exists, so at least he had that going for him. Plus, from what he had seen so far, Kongou seemed nice.

"I suppose I could get used to this..." he thought aloud, with mixed emotions. But what about my team? How will things back home work out, now that I'm gone?

Tadayoshi changed his clothes, and laid the wet clothes along the floor of the bathroom to dry, along with his equipment, aside from his service pistol and badge. He felt the fabric of the clothes Kongou had given him; They were comfortable, but felt sturdy.

Huh. I wonder what fabric she chose to use... he thought to himself, with a slight smile. The power to make virtually anything one wanted to on a whim was very impressive.

Soon, Tadayoshi made it back onto the bridge. Kongou stood and turned to face him. She smiled, proud of her abilities, once she saw how well the clothes fit.

"Follow me. We will meet Maya on the bow." she said, expecting Tadayoshi to follow.

The two walked out onto the bow. The air was cool-Cooler than the Pacific air they had just left. The sun shone down, bright, but not overbearing.

Maya came across the sea, skipping happily across small, translucent pink energy platforms, to Kongou's deck.
"Hi, Kongou! Hi, Tadayoshi!" she greeted, in a somewhat sing-songish manner.
Tadayoshi smiled and gave a quick wave.

"Hello, Maya." Kongou replied, somewhat curtly. "We need to get our bearings. From my current readings, much of this planet seems similar to Earth..."

Maya suddenly pointed out to the distance at a small landmass, excitedly.
"Maybe we can go there! There might be people we can ask!"

Kongou nodded, stroking her chin.
"I suppose that would be a good start. Forward, to the island."

The two warships plowed through the water, quickly making it to the island. Kongou, Maya, and Tadayoshi would soon notice that the island seemed to be surrounded by a thick, unmoving, black smoke, too dense to see through at all. Out from the smoke, only a single small dock could be seen, with a small opening in the smoke clouds barely large enough for a person to walk through.

"So... I guess we're going in there?" Tadayoshi asked, a hint of uneasiness in his voice.
"Yes." Kongou replied, stoically.

The three made their way to the dock, and through the opening in the smoke. They found themselves inside a village in perpetual overcast. There were dozens of small humanoid creatures with tall ears coming from the top of their head; Their heads were covered in fur, save for their faces, and they wore varying kinds of simplistic clothing. The creatures, who stood at around three feet on average, seemed to sit on the porches of their small wooden houses, in a collective depression.

Maya's generally cheery attitude seemed to fade; She hadn't expected to see such a rundown village.
"Aw... What happened?" she asked, picking one of the creatures up.

The small man-a Raposa-flailed his limbs for a moment, before adjusting his glasses, staring in wide-eyed awe at the three who had just entered the village.
"By the Creator... Could this... Are you, by chance, sent by the Creator as heroes?"

Tadayoshi turned to the raposa in Maya's hands.
"...I think you might have us mistaken... We weren't sent here by a... Creator... We came here through some kind of wormhole." he corrected.
Hero? Are they-Well, yeah, of course they're in trouble, that's pretty obvious...

The raposa shifted slightly, before speaking again; His expression seemed unsure of Tadayoshi's words, but disappointed nonetheless.
"Um, I'm sorry for the mistake. It's just that Wilfre's back, and..."

He thought for a moment, before shaking his head.
"No, no. I shouldn't bother strangers with our troubles."

Tadayoshi and Kongou turned to face each other.
"Well, if we can help, why shouldn't we?" Tadayoshi asked. "We can't go anywhere, anyway... Not without a rift appearing."

Kongou nodded, then looked to the raposa Maya was holding.
"We will help you..."

Kongou trailed off, realizing that the man hadn't given his name. The raposa also realized this, and adjusted his glasses nervously, slightly embarrassed.
"Oh, um, Isaac."

Maya held Isaac a little higher in the air, her happy mood returning.
"Let's go help you be happy again!" she said, excitedly.

She hugged the small fox-creature, holding him as one might hold a stuffed animal.

Something about Maya's happy demeanor was infectious, and Tadayoshi, Kongou, and Isaac couldn't help but crack smiles.
"Well, if you want to help, you should visit Mari, the village Mayor. She'll be in Town Hall... I can lead you guys there, if you want."

As Isaac pointed the way to the village square, Tadayoshi thought of all of what happened this entire time.
This is so fucking weird... he thought to himself, amused.

It was weird, but he also couldn't help but continue, wanting to settle his curiosity. Everything that had happened up to this point was too intriguing for him to simply stop, even if he could return to his world.

Background Post
Ryuujirou Kamikage, a black-haired, bespectacled man in his thirties, walked through the streets of Tokyo. His mind seemed too busy to notice his surroundings, as he made the familiar walk to Prime Minister Kaede Nobuyoshi's office. Soon enough, he arrived.

Kaede, a wheelchair-bound man in his fifties, turned slowly to face Mr. Kamikage.

"Mr. Kamikage. Welcome." he spoke; As Kaede could not speak himself, the words came from a synthesized voice, produced by a computer on his wheelchair. "I see you wasted no time in coming here."

Kamikage gave a bow, then responded.
"I trust you already have been informed of the spacial anomalies that were detected?"

Kaede smiled.
"Yes, I've heard of them... Though my staff hasn't been able to gather much information, aside from their mere existence."

He thought for a moment.
"I take it that you have been able to gather more information regarding the matter?"

Kamikage smiled, nodding and pulling a small electronic chip from his pocket, placing it in a port on Kaede's computer.
"Yes. This is what we have obtained so far. It appears that these anomalies appear at random, but there are some warning signs, including increased graviton activity in the area localized around where the rift will form... But the rift itself isn't the most interesting thing we've seen."

Kaede glanced up from his monitor to Kamikage, smiling with intrigue.
"Go on."

Kamikage adjusted his glasses, continuing.
"As you may remember, I-401 sank the Fog battleship Kongou very recently... However, drone footage has shown that she was rebuilt, and visited Yokosuka City earlier today... And she had a human aboard her."

Kaede's eyes widened, as he scrolled through the pictures from the drones.
"This man... Have your staff been able to identify him?"

"No, we don't know who he is, or why he's on board Kongou." Kamikage explained. "However, when they were at Yokosuka, another rift formed, and the two flew through it, as if it were a wormhole or sorts, along with another Fog ship that was already at the port. We've been able to identify the other ship as Heavy Cruiser Maya."

"...Do the Fog have something to do with this...?" Kaede wondered out loud. "...No... They haven't shown the capability of doing such things. It's more likely that they sent Kongou and Maya through in order to research these rifts."

"So, that means the Fog are getting curious." Kamikage stated, the picture beginning to become more clear to him.

"Precisely. There's no telling if they survived going through the rift, but if they did, it could be possible that the man aboard Kongou was brought here by the first rift, and the Fog may be using him and Kongou as a way to research the rifts, and the possible existence of a multiverse."

"A multiverse?" Kamikage asked, bewildered at the idea.

"Yes. It would certainly explain why there seems to be absolutely no trace of the man Kongou has with her; Given his appearance wearing a uniform of sorts, it should be relatively easy to track his identity..."

Kaede paused, smiling to himself.
"I may be getting carried away with a fantasy, though. There's no way of telling now what's going on... I would suggest keeping an eye out for any more rifts forming, and keeping an especially close eye on the Fleet of Fog's activity for now. Aside from that, I don't think there is much that we can do at the moment."

"Understood." Kamikage replied, giving a bow before he left.

Shouzou Chihaya, a well-built man of around fifty, and Musashi, a mental model appearing as a small, white-haired girl in a fur coat and hat, stood viewing various photographs of Kongou's ship, Tadayoshi, and the rifts that Kongou and Maya had traveled through.

"Hmm. This is quite an interesting development." Shouzou mused, smiling to himself. "I wonder if there is a way to track them down. Yamato has left one of her best followers in the open without support."

Musashi nodded, her gentle smile unwavering.
"If we were to send out Zordan Starke, he would be able to make quick work of them. Right, father?"

"That would be correct." Shouzou responded, stroking his beard in thought. "Inform Mr. Starke of this development, and tell him to stay on standby."

A tall, blonde woman appearing in her early twenties walked briskly down several side streets to the docks at Yokosuka Port. The woman, Haruna, was talking with a stuffed teddy bear that she held in her arms, when she came across the sight of Makie sitting on her luggage, where Maya used to be docked.

"Haruharu!" the little girl exclaimed, happily. However, Makie's expression soon turned sour. "Maya left us! She told me she was going on some journey with another Fog ship, and took off, and flew through some giant portal in the sky!"

Haruna hugged Makie, a sense of relief filling her.
"I was worried that something might have happened to you, when I sensed that spacial rift. I'm glad you are okay, at least..."

The woman looked to the sky, somewhat frustrated.
"Who could have the authority to make Maya leave on a whim?"

"I don't think Yamato is anywhere nearby..." the stuffed bear-Kirishima-stated, thinking the issue over. "...But would Kongou really come all this way just to get Maya?"

"Haruharu?" Makie asked, looking at Haruna worriedly. "Where are we going to live? Will you have to give up what you're looking for?"

Haruna thought for a moment. Her concern gave way to a false projection of reassurance.
"Everything will be okay, Makie. I'll figure something out. All I have to do is get a job!"

[That will eat up our time... It will be harder for us to look for information on Facility 4...] Kirishima told Haruna, through their quantum communications. Her frustration with the situation was building. [Talk about a set back...]

Marguerite, Chase, and Terrell stood in a rather large office. The office had a coarse, thin, dark blue carpet, waist-high wood paneling on the walls that gave way to plain gray wallpaper, and a large, well-kept and clean oak desk. The room was well lit, both by a large window in the back wall overlooking the desk, and small lamps in each corner of the room.

Behind the desk stood an elderly Japanese man with large glasses. He seemed oddly calm, in contrast to the panicked expressions of the other three standing in the room, and seemed lost in thought for some time.

"I can contact the research department to ask if they noticed anything. They may send a dispatch here to gather any information they can."
"But Tadayoshi's gone! He just disappeared!" Terrell protested, a mix of frustration and panic in his voice. "What about that?"

The Commissioner nodded, taking a deep breath in.
"We'll figure out what happened to him eventually, just give it time. I have a feeling he may be out somewhere else, but perfectly fine."

"But how can we tell?" Marguerite asked, anger rising. "How could you know that he's fine?"

The Commissioner raised a hand, as if to try to quiet the group.
"Gut feeling, but my gut is never wrong. Let's leave it at that."

He lowered his hand, sighing.
"Either way, there's not much that we can do at the moment, especially as we have no information as to what actually happened. For now, all we can do is try to piece things together, and calmly wait."

"Well, at least let us in on the investigation! I mean, he's part of our team!" Chase protested.

The Commissioner responded calmly, but firmly, which a matter-of-fact tone.
"That is exactly why you must not be in the investigation. You're too closely tied to the situation, and may make incorrect calls out of judgement, or overlook information due to stress. I would suggest you all take time off, paid leave, in order to recollect yourselves. I'll be leading the investigation personally."

Still stressed and frustrated, the three agents walked out of the Commissioner's office. The elderly man sat down in his chair, and turned to look outside of the large window behind him.

A very important discovery for this world in on the horizon... the Commissioner thought, looking longingly to the future. I do not know if our world is ready for the consequences it will bring...

Secrets of the Raven

A rather put-together man in his mid-twenties lay face-down in a wet field. He raised his face, feeling the sensation of the grass, its slightly coarse cellulose-based structure, smoothed out by the water on it. The man slowly got to his feet, looking around, feeling the light rain on his skin, as his suit slowly got more wet as he stood.

As the man looked around, he noticed that he was in a rather large field. In the distance, he could see houses grouped tightly together.

What just happened...? he wondered, with a perplexed expression. Where am I?

He took a smartphone out of his front pants pocket, and fiddled with it. After some time, he was able to make his way into one of the cellular services using fake information, and access the internet and map services.

"...I'm in Wales?" he wondered aloud. "Tokyo to Wales in the blink of an eye... I didn't make any mistakes in my search, so as long as the GPS isn't messed up, then..."

The man remembered seeing a bright flash of light, before having ended up in the field.
"No, a wormhole would have killed me if I was brought through it..."

He closed the maps app on his phone and put it away. Looking at the front of his suit, he could see that there was mud on it, but nothing that couldn't be washed out.
The worst part of this would be that I don't have any of my equipment on-hand... I'm going to have to find out where I am, before anything else, so maybe I should go into town? the man thought, analyzing the situation.

He stepped forward, making his way through the wet field towards the town. Eventually, he made his way into town. He passed several of the pedestrians without so much as a thought, trying to think of the best way to gather information. All he knew was that he was in some place called "Branhwrn," which he had never heard of, and that he had somehow gotten here by what he could only assume to be a yet-unknown means of teleportation.

Any authorities would ask too many questions, especially given my current appearance. That rules out police or medical staff for questioning. I suppose I should try blending into the town more... As best I can, at least...

After some thinking, and walking, the man decided on entering a small diner at the corner of an intersection. He approached the counter, ringing the service bell. Glancing around, the man couldn't tell much from the entrance of the diner; While he could remember every single detail of it, it was all meaningless in his current goal to figure out how he was brought halfway around the world.

Madison & Link
Inside Gold's Tent

When the man named Gold began talking about 'Ty' and what he was, Madi could only nod to at least act as if she understood anything Gold was saying.
Pokemon...The hell is that?
She was about to ask if there were many types of these Pokemon when there was a commotion outside.
Both Gold and Ty broke through the front flap of the tent and Madi followed.

Outside

There were around twenty black suited guys holding these red and white balls in their hands.
The van that Madi had heard for a few seconds had been stopped dead in its tracks.
Madi blinked for a second, then raised her hands to summon her magic when she heard the remains of the tent flap move.
"What's going on?"
Hands still raised, Madi whirled around to find Link standing there with a confused look on his face, along with whoever wasn't outside yet.
"You. Stay inside until it's safe to come out."
Link had apparently seen what was behind Madi because his eyes then widened and the kid looked up at her with this concerned look on his face - one that'd you'd not normally see on a 12 year old.
"But what if something happens?"
"Stay. Inside." Madi raised her gaze to the others inside the tent. "That goes for the rest of you as well."
Link looked as if he was going to say something but then decided against it and went back inside the tent.
Madi waited a few more seconds and then turned back around.
She then flicked her wrists and summoned her magic - white balls of pure magic rested in her palms.
"Alright. Who wants some."

Snowstorm | Audrey

Outside. The smell of... Petrol, and fire. Violent intent lingered in the air, like a calm summer breeze. A car screeching! The sound of metal crunching, the snap and squeal. It brought back memories. Something stirred in her chest. Something wanted out. So she let it out. She pushed past Madi, and stood with Gold, austere and firm. Droplets of blood fell down her arm, pooling near her wrist. She looked to her side for a moment, feeling her mental blockades falling away, and whispered in her "allies'" ears:

"Don't freak out."

She turned to the grunts, lined up and dripping with water.

"I think you've got the wrong people. Whoever you are, I have absolutely no interest in fighting you, and I'm pretty sure nobody else wants to either. If you're going after these two here, the beast and his brother, then I'd imagine you only packed enough to take them. On the other hand, we have half-a-dozen monsters, warriors and god-knows-what behind us in that tent. So I can assure you, that you don't want this fight."

Her eye twitched. She felt something in the pit of her stomach. Her heart thrummed, her eyes turned black. Her whole body felt empty. Devoid of life. She could take it so easily. Take a man's life, and have it as her own.

"Hang on... Oh, that's glorious. Do you smell that? That... Stench. Oh god, it smells so good. Do you feel it? It's warm, and it's in you. You smell warm. How do you live, knowing you smell so good? I'm sorry, but I can't let you leave anymore. Not when you smell this nice."

She sniffed the air. Her eyes slitted, her mouth slowly began to open. And she smiled. She smiled, and leaned forward. She put up a hand, wrist open, fingers splayed. Her arm shook. Her fingers curled, and trembled. It had been too long since she'd eaten. She let out a misty breath, she let out a twisted grin. Their whole body twitched and shuddered. Their eyes darted to and fro, keenly spotting the tastiest parts, the easiest bones to split. This was what they were made for. To eat! To fill that writhing hunger within themselves, and to eat! It breathed out. It closed its eyes. It clenched its fists.

"Because... Because... You, are going, to die. Tiamat, your skin smells delicious. Like cherry pie. I'll rip you. I'll... Eat you. Yes, that's good. Very, very good. I want that. You don't want that. It's fine. You don't matter. You are meat. I am teeth, I have teeth. I will eat, with my teeth. Rip you, with my teeth. Ohh, you smell delicious! Do you eat people? I ate people. I ate many people. Do you smell how delicious you are? You are lovely. You are beautiful. Like cows. You are fat cattle. Plump, juicy, ripe. Like big grapes, filled with juice. Meat juice. Blood! Blood is honey. Honey is sweet. You smell... Sweet."

She stopped. She looked up. The world was hungry. The world fell toward her. She was the pit at the centre of the whirlpool. She was Charybdis. Everything was closer now. A step away. A step away from the warm embrace of meat, of the soft kiss of kind and voracious flesh. Of the tender smell of blood, of the coarse and caring feeling of tendon, of the crackle and sigh of bone.

Avarice. Smiled.

"I like sweets."

Jonah’s Laboratory, New Earth

It had been a while since this many of New Earth’s gods had gathered in one place. Sure, they were all friends and a lot of them hung out frequently, but their various duties usually kept most of them rather busy and seperated. Not even all of them were here; the trolls of Rodina had decided to stay and watch over their planet, and another hadn’t been invited due to staggering unpopularity. Regardless of that, a veritable Mount Olympus was currently gathered in the lab of one Jonah Rigel, surrounding him as he excitedly showed off his latest invention- a machine designed to emulate Eric Ayers’ powers and let them traverse timelines. The machine, a small misshapen hunk of metal and circuitry that could probably fit inside a backpack, whirred softly and spat out an occasional spark while Jonah quickly explained how it worked in terms so technical that nobody else in the room understood half of what he was saying.

”I see how it is. So you’re tryina replace me, huh?” Eric said jokingly while he leaned on a nearby wall, trying to look cooler than he actually is. Pobeda stepped forward and looked at the device more closely before remarking, ”This thing looks like it’s more likely to blow up that do anything remotely close to what it’s intended to do.” Jonah rolled his eyes and dismissively waved his hand in response. ”Psh, don’t be ridiculous. You think I’m gonna show my friends some second-rate untested crap?” ”Vell…” Ivan said, standing a short distance away with his arms crossed and one eyebrow raised. ”Zhere vas zhat time vhen you tried to show off an android zhat promptly keeled over and died vhen you turned it on.” ”Not to mention this thing’s sparkier than a lightning storm,” Marcus said with a grin. ”Sometimes things spark! That’s just the laws of electricity working!” Jonah replied, getting irritated. Hersel then chimed in. ”I’m pretty sure you don’t need to be an expert engineer to know that a machine sparking is usually a bad thing.” Alena let out a small sigh. ”Look, Jonah, we’ve gone through this same thing a hundred times and it almost always ends the same. You make a faulty machine, we point out it looks faulty, you refuse to acknowledge our points, you test the machine, it fails like we said it would, we laugh at you a little bit. Rinse and repeat until we’re all dead.”

”Not this time, Empress,” Jonah declared, turning away from everyone to face his machine. ”Like I said, I’ve actually tested this one a few times now, and not once has it done anything more than spark- which is perfectly reasonable, mind you! I visited a timeline where half of us weren’t here and Ivan was banging a troll!” ”You- what?” Ji-Yeong asked, cocking her head a little bit to the side while everyone else looked around at each other slightly uncomfortable. ”Nevermind. Point is it works, it’s incredible, and if there aren’t any more complaints from you luddites I’m gonna turn it on now.” Nobody else raised any objections, and everyone looked at him expectantly. Grinning while he did it, Jonah started to activate the machine, and almost instantly things went wrong. Still stressed from the last trips and not used to so many people at once, the trickle of sparks became a hemorrhage and the machine started to glow with a strange energy. With an ”Oh, shi-” from Jonah, it exploded, catching all the gods in its radius and casting them across the multiverse.

"Yeah, but why ask me that? That's heavy stuff for idle conversation." Greed scratched the back of his head. She's fishing for something... Chi sensing? She knows somethings off about me. His body relaxed, and he refocused his mind. If she can sense aura, I can't let myself be caught off guard. She's suspicious of me already.

Greed smiled. "Anyways, it's nice to meet you. I'm Garrett Reed. And might I say, you both look beautiful." He chuckled. "And you're good samaritans too! Some people might not ret-" He paused, taking note of Sayaka's face. "Is something wrong?" He turned back to Elizabeth. "What's going on here?" he demanded.

Secrets of the Raven

"I don't know, I just had a feeling you may be interested about the nature of the souls." The witch said as she spin the umbrella slowly. When Greed have her his "name" and tried to flatter them the witch gave him a smirk. "Flattery won't get you everything Mr.Reed." Elizabeth look down at Sayaka when "Garret" asked what was wrong. "Feeling alright Blueberry?" The witch had a feeling what was the reason for Sayaka's reaction and knew she would have to fix that so she won't have to reveal the truth about why the girl was here.

Elizabeth place her hand in Sayaka's forehead and kept it there for a while. "Damn it, looks like a fever is starting to develop." She said, sounding concern even though she felt nothing. "Let's get out if the rain before she starts coughing and sneezing like crazy." She told Greed. The witch look around the alley, Turning around as she began to scratch the back of her head.

"Oops, I went the wrong direction to where my car was. Silly me." She told them. After she led the two away from the ally they would find the white supermini that she own. "I know a good place you can spend the night in if you don't have a place to go to Mr. Reed?" Elizabeth said as she unlock the doors go the car. From the distance they can hear the trolley approaching the small community.

After she got confirmation from Greed he wanted to go with her she open the door for him and let him enter her car. As the witch drove off from the small community the witch began to play rock music. As time passes on both Greed and Sayaka would see the rural countryside be slowly replaced with the suburban district as houses, shops, and apartments replace the farms. The two would see that like the small community both historical and modern buildings standing side by side but now some buildings can reach up to either 5 or 6 storey.

From outside they would see pedestrians walking out on the rain seemingly not bothered by the droplets coming down on them. Other cars along with trucks, trams, trolleys, and other vehicles were seen on the road but the two would notice that buses were absent on the road. As Elizabeth began to park her car she said. "We're here." As she unlocks the doors and got out she waited for the two to leave before locking the doors. The short walk would eventually end as the group would see a black, 3 storey, Victorian building with a sign showing a cartoon crow holding a bottle of beer and drinking down the alcohol, it's large eyes had large Xs on them. The sign revealed the name off the place as "The Drinking Crow".

Elizabeth lead the two in and once inside they would see the first floor look like a pub. Looking further they would find a large stage at the right side and from the back they found a hallway and in the room they would find staircases leading to an upper level showing many doors. "This place is nice huh?" She asked the two. "Right now I rather rest up before getting something to eat." She lead the two down to the hallway and after they used the elevator to reach the third floor,

When they enter her room they would see two beds at the center of the room with a small sofa and chair close to the windows, in front of the chair was a table with a laptop on the table. They would find drawers next to the beds and a larger one with a CRT Television set on top of it. As Elizabeth walked into the room and walked over the circular rug she enter the room with no issue, yet she knew that there would be no issues for her as the ward was not made to effect her. She turn around to see how it would react with the other two.

When Agent A enter the older patrons all gave the obvious outsider weary and suspicious looks, the much younger patrons only pay him a quick glance before returning back with their meals or never took their eyes away from their meal, friends, or phones. Once he ringed the bell an old, pot bellied, man appeared. The man's hair was thinning on the top and his gray moustache would remind Agent A the old time moustaches from the early twenty century before World War One. "What do you want stranger?" The old man asked.

The restaurant for the most part looked normal if not somewhat outdated looking as it contain Arnold fashion jukebox at the corner. A would still find that the older patrons still occasionally return their gazes at the man. Yet he would see that one man who was middle age was staring at him rather intently and for some reason seem almost disturbed looking at him. Agent A can hear the trolley from outside finally entering the small community, ringing out go let people know it's presence.

A War of Flesh and Metal; Cairo, Egypt

After being caught in the explosion, Marcus Procyon and Alexandra Gomeisa were cast across the dimensions in a mind-bending and description-eluding journey through the interuniversal medium. They emerged from this medium with the force that the explosion had propelled them at, slamming backwards into what felt like a wall made of stone. "Oww..." Marcus said, getting up and cracking his back. "Oh, shoot- Alex, you okay?!" He looked around and spotted his girlfriend a few feet away, also recovering from the impact. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said as he helped her up. "How about you?" "It fuckin' hurt, but I think I'm fine. I just knew that stupid machine was gonna explode," Marcus replied. He looked around, squinting while he did so. It was considerably brighter now than it had been a few minutes ago. Quite a bit warmer, too, as Alex was noting. It reminded her of Marcus's player planet back in their session, a giant desert of sandstone. "Where are we? This isn't anywhere near the lab, is it?" she asked, silently regretting that her outfit was all black. "Unless Jonah decided to secretly terraform the place to be more like Vegas while we were in there, I'd say not," Marcus replied. "Look, there's even a... sphinx... oh my god, we're totally in Egypt right now aren't we?" "Uh, it sure looks like it," Alex said, tugging at Marcus's robe to turn around and look at what they hit. The Seer obliged her and turned around, his jaw immediately dropping; they had slammed directly into the Great Pyramid.

"What the fuck?" is all he could think to say. "That's- those are- this is the actual Great Pyramid of actual Giza! That stupid sparky machine actually worked, kinda! I wonder where everybody else is, though..." "It's unbelievable," Alex said. She looked away from the giant hunk of sandstone for a moment to take another look around, this time registering the existence of a couple of grey beings a short distance away. "Hey, is that Hersel and Venera? I think it is, c'mon!" She grabbed Marcus, who was fiddling with his phone to try and get a picture, and pulled him towards them, waving as she got closer. "Hey guys! Ven, Hersel! You okay?"

The Grand Adventure; Traverse Town Tavern

Ivan Danica, Dal Ji-Yeong, and Jonah Rigel all appeared in their new location in the same manner Marcus and Alex had- propelled backwards at high speeds. Instead of hitting a Wonder of the World, however, they just slammed into a bar. "Ой," said Ivan, rubbing his head. He looked to his left and saw Ji-Yeong saying something similar in Korean, Jonah swearing up a storm in English, and Alena at the end saying something in German. "So," he said, leaning forward and looking at Jonah. "Not going to explode, eh?" "Oh, shut up," Jonah said with a scowl. "I take it this is not how your machine was meant to work?" Ji-Yeong asked, rubbing her shoulder. Jonah sighed. "No. No it isn't. It was supposed to just open up a little 'gateway' to that alternate timeline, not shoot us off to Allah-knows-where." "Speaking of vhere," Ivan said, looking up and to his right to see who was sitting at the bar. Currently seated was a Chinese woman, a man wearing a trench coat, and an older-looking man in a dark suit. "Hey, excuse me. Vould you mind telling us vhere in zhe hell zhis asshole- he gestured at Jonah -has brought us to? Is zhis still New Earth?"

She turn around to see how it would react with the other two.

Sayaka was starting to see a pattern here with how often she was getting interrupted from speaking her mind. First, it was the blatant lie about her being blood-related to Elizabeth, and now it was something about a fever she didn't even have! She wasn't even sickly for goodness' sake! There was no way she'd be coughing and sneezing when she'd always led a incredibly active and healthy lifestyle!

Before the girl could complete that thought, her cheeks flushed a beet red at her sudden closeness with Elizabeth as the lady placed a hand over Sayaka's forehead. The Magical Girl's expression shifted to one of surprise but before she could shout, Elizabeth suddenly dragged her off into another alley, and then the alley after that, before they finally reached the Detective's car and she was forced onto the backseat.

At this point, Sayaka was seriously considering ditching Elizabeth, especially when she heard the atrocity that was blaring from the lady's speakers. Rock? Why does it have to be Rock Music of all genres? She would have been okay with generic pop music, she'd even settle for folk music, but Rock Music was absolutely unacceptable to her ears! It was an affront to all peoples of good taste and so, try as she might to tolerate it for the sake of propriety, Sayaka couldn't help but deepen the frown on her face. Sadly, she was no saint and during the last stretch of the trip, Sayaka was about to voice her opinion only to be interrupted once again when the car suddenly stopped.

"This place reeks of alcohol," was the girl's reply as she followed Elizabeth upstairs, one hand pinching her nose to keep the smell out even when she stepped on the rug into Elizabeth's room.

If she had been paying attention, then perhaps Sayaka wouldn't have found herself colliding with what felt like a invisible wall of viscous fluid before promptly falling on her butt with the least graceful "Ack!" of her life.

A War of Flesh and Metal
Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden was not the type of person to express strong emotions. Those that knew her would say the same, but those same people would undoubtedly never have expected her to suddenly be transported into a whole other world when she stepped out of CH Postal Company's front door.

The blonde raised an eyebrow at the sight before her, a pyramid of stone, it's once vibrant colors long faded. With careful grace, she set down her luggage on the sand, adjusted her collar for better airflow, and proceeded to unfold her parasol to shield her from the rays of the sun. It was a series of actions that would have taken any observer's breath away despite their seeming mundanity. However, it belied the rapidly switching gears in Violet's mind as she fell back on old habits. Panicking now wouldn't do her any good, but her mind failed to come up with a proper explanation to her predicament.

A slight tug of her lips downwards, a small squeeze of her hand, and a blink that took slightly longer ruined Violet's perfectly serene expression for the keen observer. With small steps, she turned around to seek for more clues, and perhaps a weapon to defend herself with. The retired veteran saw neither. The beings in the distance were certainly taller than her, with clothes that could only be described as strange, but they looked human at least. Well, vaguely looked human in the case of the two with strangely colored skin.

Seeing as they were her only leads, Violet began to walk towards the group. Luggage in one hand and parasol in the other.

The Grand Adventure

Traverse Town Tavern

The Wanderer did not show any sign of concern nor worry when talking about "the darkness" or "dead worlds". He sounded like this was all normal news to him. "You have nothing to be concerned about. This darkness is this world's issue and this world's alone. There are already plenty of folk who are taking care of it, no there's no need for us to be worried about it"

Three more people then appeared, all wearing brightly colored outfits. As always, the Wanderer was delighted by this bizarre and sudden appearance. "More guests! Please take a seat, and I'll explain"

The man then placed his clasped hands on the table. "I'm not sure if any of you have fully realized this yet, but you are all in another universe, one millions upon millions upon millions which make up what is called the Multiverse. Usually, individual universes are kept separate from eachother, never to interact, but something has caused the universal boundaries to weaken. Such vulnerabilities in the walls that separate worlds are what have snatched you from your home universes and dropped you here. I knew that this particular place - Traverse Town - would have a strong, you can say 'magnetic' affect on these... let's call them 'breaches'. I expected that many of you would wind up here, so I have come here to welcome you to the Multiverse"

The Multiverse’s Most Dangerous Game

TARGET: GODZILLA
LOCATION: INKOPOLIS

The gunship was nearing the city, but there was no sign of their target. From the sheer size that the description made this "Godzilla" appear to be, Samus would have thought that it would have been pretty easy to spot it, but there was nothing...

"Something just came up on the scanner. It's in the water" Adam declared. Samus immediately took the control and turned the ship around, looking back over the ocean where the scanner had detected a lifesign.

Then, something emerged from the sea. First came massive spines, like mountains rising from the depths. Then came the eyes, staring directly over the horizon – staring directly at Samus' ship. Then, slowly, the rest of the creature rose out of the water. Slick black scales glistened in the bright sun as the creature gaze an echoing roar. This was Godzilla.

"There's our target, lady"

"Let's see what this ship can do"

Samus then fired the ship's only weapon. A pair of laser projectiles were launched from the violet gunship, racing towards their target at incredible speed. They detonated upon contact with the monster, creating bursts of lime energy. Godzilla roared and stumbled back, then fixed it's gaze on the gunship. The monster opened its mouth, but not a sound came out. Instead, it began to emit a bright blue light, which gradually intensified with each passing second.

"That can't be good"

"Get out of its way, lady!"

Samus began to maneuver the ship out of Godzilla's path, but it was too late. A massive beam shot forth from the creature's mouth, reaching the gunship's location almost instantly. Samus had moved the ship enough to avoid a certainly fatal head-on collision, but she wasn't entirely out of the way. The radiactive beam barely clipped the ship's wing, but that was all it needed to do. The gunship spiraled out of control, Samus making a futile effort to regain control of the ship before it plummeted towards Inkopolis.

Mt. Silver - RotMM
Moira thanked the small creature for the warmth, and then looked at the young man who introduced himself as Gold and the creature as Ty. "Your brother? You'll forgive me if I don't immediately notice the family resemblance." The Huntress said whilst Percy pulled off his hat and mask, revealing his blackish-tan fir and yellow eyes. Percy nodded thoughtfully as Gold explained what Pokemon were. "Oh, so you're a special group of Meownsters then? We've never encountered your kind before, nya. What continyent is this anyway?" He inquired.

It was at that point that Ty brought up the fact that this Madison person was from another universe, which made the duo start to think of the possibility that they weren't on their own world anymore. Moira didn't like that idea at all, because if it were true, then how exactly would they get home? Fortunately it seemed as though Gold and Ty were willing to help everyone find their way home, but there was just one question looming in Moira's mind: "I thank you for being willing to help us, but just how do you intend to get us home exactly?"

Unfortunately, it was at that point that things got out of hand. Somebody had apparently tried to run the tent down with a vehicle that Moira had never seen before, and now the group was surrounded by people in black uniforms. Percy immediately placed his mask and hat back on and drew his spear, whilst Moira drew her Insect Glaive. Fortunately the Kinsect wasn't hurt, but Moira wasn't sure if it was able to extract essence from humans, so it might not be that helpful in this situation. "Whoa nyow! We don't want any trouble, nya!" Percy said as he eyed each figure cautiously.

It was at that point that the strange woman that had been with them began ranting about eating, and the hunting duo immediately began backing away from her as much as they could without running into the figures. "This is bad. I didn't sign up for this..." Moira muttered to her Palico, who nodded grimly. "Yeah, tell me about it, nya..." He replied, still brandishing his spear.

Planet Popstar - Dreamland
Meanwhile in a much more cheerful setting: it was a lazy afternoon in Dreamland on the star-shaped planet of Popstar, and the sky was blue and filled with puffy clouds. Underneath those clouds was a forest of lush green trees, and underneath one of those trees was a little pink puffball by the name of Kirby, who was currently fast asleep and dreaming of Strawberry Shortcake. This had been a tradition of Kirby's for the longest time, and Kirby simply wasn't one to break tradition. Unfortunately, it was also tradition for Kirby's sleep to be interrupted by world-ending threats, and today was no different.

As the little puffball snoozed peacefully, a vortex of blue and white light suddenly opened near him with the sound of shattering glass, waking him. Kirby drowsily came to his senses, and noticed the vortex. He had no idea what it was, but it simply couldn't be good news; it had woken him up after all! At this point, his heroic impulses had taken over, and so he got up and ran headlong into the vortex, intending to stop whatever was causing it before it threatened Dreamland.

DttM
Kirby emerged from the Vortex to meet nothing but air, and with a surprised yelp he began to fall. He only fell for a few seconds however, before he landed on top of something. Kirby was dazed by this for a few moments, but when he came to he was looking up at a man, who's head he had fallen onto and then proceeded to bounce off of. The puffball got up, and then looked the man over cautiously. He didn't seem particularly threatening, if anything he looked confused. There was also a woman there with him, who was wearing a very pretty outfit, at least that's what Kirby thought.

After a few more seconds, Kirby decided that these people weren't particularly threatening, and so he waved at the two of them cheerfully.

"Sure I know vat zhe multiverse is. I've read up on Multiverse zheory in my spare time." Ignis looked up as a waiter brought the brussel sprouts over. She immediately started to dig in hungrily.

Jona summoned a flock of birds to catch him and Konny as they fell through the sky in Inkopolis. "Where's Miranda!?"

"There!" Konny spotted Miranda falling a few feet below them. "I'll catch her!" She pointed her rake at Miranda and summoned up millions and millions of bones from corpses in the nearby ocean. She formed a net in midair and caught Miranda.

"Got her!"

"Uh, Konny, she's not our only problem." Jona pointed at the Godzilla, telling the birds to fly away from him.

"...Shit."

As Godzilla shot the beam, a few of Jona's birds were fried and he and Konny started to tumble towards the ground as she tried to keep Miranda in the net. Fortunately, the remaining birds managed to soften their fall as they stumbled onto the ground.

"We need to somehow take care of that thing."

"From here, it looks like we need strong projectile attacks to do so." Jona remarked. "Your thing should work."

"Sure thing." She pointed her rake at Godzilla. "Ban-"

"Seriously? This isn't time for a pop culture reference." Jona interrupted and acted first, firing one of his light attacks at Godzilla.

"Aw, come on, yelling helps. Bankai!" The bones that caught miranda reshaped, swirling above Konny's head until they merged into a tip. A giant spear consisting of bones from corpses was formed.

"Shitai no Yari!" The spear was launched from above Konny's head at Godzilla at near blinding speed.

"You seriously have to give it a Japanese name? How Weeb are you?" Jona hoisted Miranda's arm over his shoulder.

"Hey, you're the one judging so much."

Southern Ukraine, late 1400s

Early in the morning, Theo woke himself, and dressed himself in his armor. He bid farewell to a local family which had been housing him, and he set off on his horse. Though normally he lived at his church in the Zaporiszhian Sich, a fairly new Cossack community centered around a castle in the Dnieper, he had left to obtain and train with a new weapon: a long chain with a handle on one hand and a spiked ball on the other. He figured it would work well with his gift from god, electrokinesis, as it would increase his range in a fight without requiring him to sacrifice accuracy. But walking to his home, Theo couldn’t help but think of the many gifts from God he had.

The trail he followed was on the Dnieper River, and with the sky clear and bright, he had a beautiful view of the world around him. There were eagles flying over the river, and he even matched to catch a glimpse of an eagle swooping down to catch a fish. He could even see wolves on the other side of the river, which quickly scurried away after seeing the human. The vast fertile land of his home had plains perfect for agriculture and forests where one could gather timber and embrace nature. Though he missed his birthplace in Taurida, he was grateful to God for creating such a wonderful world which he could inhabit.

But God’s greatest gift to him was his ability to produce and control electrical energy, one which he used to protect the people of his new home. The Tartars of the Crimean Khanate kidnapped thousands of Christians within and around their territory and forced them into slavery, and this was something that God could not simply ignore. One day, while Theo was attempting to fight off an attacking band of Tartars, he felt a surge of energy in his body. When he slashed at one of the opposing warriors, their bodies shook violently and became covered in painful burns. Though Theo disliked granting such painful deaths, he knew that he was a vassal of the Lord’s will, and that he must protect the innocents of the Christian faith. He served God as both a priest and a warrior, both spreading and protecting the faith.

Though he had been paying little attention to the world around him, this was why he enjoyed long walks. Despite being such a social person, he never felt alone, for the Lord was always with him. But forgetting to pay attention while riding a horse was a bad idea, for the horse suddenly got spooked, and Theo almost fell off. The Goth was quick to correct his balance, and he dropped from his horse to see if any men or beasts were approaching him.

“Ich fear no man and no beast, for Ich am a servant of zee Lord. You vill show yourself, or you vill be gone!” He called out in his native language, moments before being dragged into a rift.

He landed on his feet in what seemed to vaguely look like a tavern. Yet, it looked so...foreign..and unfamiliar. He had no idea where he was, but the first thing he saw a group of people, so he figured he would attempt to ask them where he was.

“Vhat is zhis place? Do you know how I have gotten to here?” He asked them. They could be the reason why he was here, however, in case they weren’t, he needed to be polite so he didn’t leave a bad impression.

Ignis's eyes opened wide as Theo walked in.

"Mein gott! Anozher German!" She hopped down from her seat and walked up to him, offering him a hand to shake. "Wie gehts'? I haven't seen anozher vone of my countrymen in a long time! Secrets of the Raven

Greed narrowed his eyes, but said nothing. This was suspicious... The reaction that the blue haired girl gave wasn't one of being sick. What was this lady's game? Wordlessly, he followed the pair. Fancy car. Different from the ones in Amestris...

He entered her car, and observed the town as they drove. This definitely isn't 1914... Construction is different. Music is different too. Nice, but different. He sat in silence, and when they finally parked, he exited. "A bar, huh? Interesting choice of place, but I don't mind." He said with a grin.

He followed the pair up the stairs, and was about to walk into the room when Sayaka fell backwards. "Huh? You alright?"

Truth

What am I going to do with you?

Bradley's eyes slowly opened. "Wha-?" He blinked a few times as he pushed himself up off his back. "Darling? Is that you?" he asked as he looked around.

His eye wandered until he saw her. No... no it couldn't be her. He was dead. So how-?

No, I'm afraid I'm not her. Not Envy either.

Bradley's eye narrowed. "I see. So who-?"

I am Truth.

Bradley paused, and began to chuckle. "You don't say? Well, isn't this a surprise. I assume you're going to judge me then?"

I already have. You lived your life according to another. You made only one choice, and never questioned your orders.

"Yes. That is correct."

So what if you had choices of your own?

Bradley's eye widened. "What, are you going to send me back to 'fix' what I did?"

No. I'm going to give you another chance at a life.

And with that, Bradley was gone.

Cairo, Egypt

Red lightning struck the ground, depositing Bradley... somewhere. He didn't recognize the area. Was this Xerxes? No, there are people here. They aren't Ishvalans, either. Bradley scowled. Where the hell was he?

Agent X didn't let much get to her, so when a giant lizard shot a beam of something radioactive at a damned spaceship, she jumped into action.

"<I want heavy weapons trained on that beast in the water. Chargers, splatlings, sting rays, tenta missiles. Break out the museum pieces if you need to! Safeguard this city, and safeguard the Zapfish!>" She shouted. A group of inklings nodded, and ran off, spreading her orders. "<I need another group with me to investigate that crashed UFO.>" Another group nodded, and followed her as they ran for the projected crash site/

Secrets of the Raven

Seeing the bluenette hit the barrier enacted by the ward and falling with the same grace as a rock the witch's eyes narrowed at the two. The moment the two were on the rug Elizabeth took out a cigarette and light it with her zippo. "Sorry about that. I forgot about my security system. It activates when supernatural beings or individuals step I'm not, trapping them." The witch told them as she took a drag of her cigarette.

As she blow out smoke the witch spoke. "But considering I'm with two people with powerful auras whose types I’ve never seen before I just need to make sure I'm not walking into a setup." The witch walked over go a chair and grabbed it, dragging it over and placing it close to the two trapped outsiders. As Elizabeth sat down, leaning back on her chair and putting one leg on top of the other, she looked at them as she kept smoking.

"So tell me where do you two come from? And don't try to dodge the question either because unlike the cops I'm willing to keep you two trapped for days on that rug." She told them, her gaze fell mostly on Sayaka when she uttered those words. Her eyes soon went to Greed. "Also I want to know who you two really are and what are you since your auras give away that none of you are normal human beings."

"Also I want to know who you two really are and what are you since your auras give away that none of you are normal human beings."

"Yeah, just bumped my head on something." Sayaka wasn't sure how much of a bump it actually was. She certainly didn't hit something as solid as wood or concrete. It was more like a giant mass of jello than anything anyone would use to construct a building. The Magical Girl stood up again and, with only her pride and dignity damaged, as Elizabeth began to explain that she did not in fact bump her head into a mass of jello. She bumped her head on a invisible mass of magic jello.

That in itself was a shocking revelation, she didn't know someone could be a Magical Girl at the Detective's age, and Elizabeth's demands for them to tell the truth only served to accentuate that, especially when Elizabeth pulled out a cigar. Sayaka pinched her nose once again and used her free hand to wave away the cigarrete smoke from Elizabeth. "Mitakihara City, Japan." Ugh, the smell's going to cling to my clothes! "But before I tell you more, put that cigarrete away! Second hand smoking's dangerous you know!"

Lightning struck the ground a few feet away from Violet, and she was forced to smooth her skirts out of habit as she flinched in surprise and the wind stirred sand to fly at every direction. Once the light subsided, the veteran turned around to see a elderly gentleman in what was obviously a blue Military Uniform looking every bit as confused as her.

Deciding that the group of strangers could wait, Violet instead approached the man with an eye-patch. The shift from stoic civilian to professional soldier was instantenous once she reached an acceptable distance. Her salute was perfect and the way she snapped to attention was a thing of beauty to behold. It was near mechanical in its precision and execution. "Ex-Private First Class Violet Evergarden of the Leidenschaftlich Army, sir!" Despite her unmistakably feminine voice, her tone was firm, that of a soldier who'd seen her fair share of battles.

A War of Flesh and Metal; Interstellar Space

The space battleships Andromeda and Lunaven careened through a formless void of multiversal proportions as they were sucked in by an interdimensional rift. Faceless horrors assailed the shaken crew as the battleships struggled to keep themselves upright. A great waste of formless, raw energy surrounded them in all sides as they were thrown across the multiverse like a ragdoll. Admiral Yi Sun-shin held on to a handrail as he looked at the space around them. Beyond the raw energies of the void, there were numerous bubbles, each filled with an eternity of energy and time. Meanwhile, within the Lunaven, things were just as bad. The Ensari crewmen were thrown back and forth as the forces that sent them through the multiverse shut down the artificial gravity in both ships, causing chaos and mayhem as men and women and robots were thrown all over. The battleships kept spinning through the dark void for what seemed to be an eternity until they hit one of the aforementioned bubbles. The ships were vomited by the rift into a star system that seemed identical to the Solar System... only... it seemed different. However, the propulsions and artificial gravity were dead, and with only their stabilizers to soften their fall, they were headed towards Saturn. By all means of luck, they were caught in the gravity of the moon of Titan, as it is the most viable place to fall in.

"All hands, brace for impact!", the two commanders ordered over the communications as the twin battleships headed for a hard crashlanding on the moon of Titan. As the athmosphere began to slow their fall, their hulls began to glow aflame. There they were headed, to an ocean of liquid ammonia. They crashed with a gigantic splash. However, both battleships are also viable for the sea, and so they floated unto the top of the liquid.

"Damage report, Informations Officer.", Admiral Yi ordered. "We need to get out here as soon as possible."

"Ah, yes, Admiral! We have... severe damage to the propulsion system, warp drive, and the artificial gravity. Everything else seems alright. If we are to repair the aforementioned damaged systems, estimated time will be...", she gaped as she saw the numbers. "9 months, Admiral. The damage to these systems are so bad that we have to replace the entire warp engine, and we are out of fuel. The artificial gravity also requires a complete overhaul. Until then, we are stuck here."

"If that is the case, some of us will be heading to the Earth for aid. The rest will stay and repair the damage.", the admiral said as he rose from his seat.

"Admiral, where are you-"

"Second Officer, keep things together. I and the Starseer will be heading to Earth alongside a small contingent.", the admiral said curtly as he turned and left.

Later, almost 30 starfighters and 10 shuttles left the Andromeda and Lunaven, bearing with them the Admiral and the Starseer. The first saw the continent of Africa, and then, the sensors detected something on the Great Pyramid of Giza.

'What is it, pilot?", Yi inquired as he leaned forward in his seat.

"There are what appears to be dimensional signatures near the Pyramid. They have already disappeared, but it appears we are not the only ones that were thrown here by some rift..."

"Better go off to Egypt and have some of our questions answered.", Yi said as he leaned back. "Our destination: the Great Pyramids of Giza!"

They would reach the sky above the Pyramids just to see red lightning. "What the... sorcery?", Aurelia said, agape. "Something is wrong with this Earth."

"Admiral, there are people below!"

"Eh... Oh, them...", Yi looked at the group of people below. "One of them is saluting like a soldier..."

"Shall we land, Admiral?"

"Land."

The shuttles deactivated their cloaking, and landed not a far distance from who seemed to be a civilian that just saluted like a soldier. The first to leave the shuttles were some of the Andromeda's security personnel, and then some Ensari warriors and robots, and finally, the Admiral and Starseer. With sword in sheathe, bow hoisted his back, Yi looked to the burning sun. Aurelia, meanwhile, held her force sword's handle as it stayed in her sheathe. They would be very noticeable by anyone close enough.

Secrets of the Raven

"Security system?" Greed wondered aloud. "Interesting. Something that can keep unwanted intruders out? It's clearly something supernatural." He grinned. "But as you've failed to notice, I haven't stepped on your rug. She did. I'm free to leave as I please."

"So, instead I'm going to ask you what this is all about. And if I don't get an answer I like, I'm just going to leave." He crossed his arms. "And please, don't do something dumb and attack me. I'd rather not fight a woman. Especially not one who can potentially kick my ass. I've had enough of those."

Secrets of the Raven

Elizabeth only gave Sayaka an amused grin to her reaction. "You are my guest so either you get use smell of ash and smoke or you leave the room whenever I smoke. But considering your current situation the only option you have is to suck it up. I can take my time since you are not going anywhere." The grinning mage told the gagging magical girl.

However her amusement ended when she saw that Greed was not trapped in the rug, her grinning turning into a frown . "You think I would only have one security system in place?" She left up a finger. "Just a few gestures and words and the other systems will be activated. So if you don't try anything funny I won't activate them." She warned. In truth she was bluffing as she didn't have enough time to make additional security systems before leaving to see the latest crime scene.

Now being the one questioned she put down her finger as she took a much longer drag on her cigarette, blowing out smoke and getting up and walking to a nearby ash tray to put out the cigarette. "You want to know what all this is about fine. I'm a detective just like Blueberry here can tell you but what she doesn't know is that I'm an accomplished hedge witch, expert of the occult, and a mistress of evocation. I'm also here because I was called to help out to deal with a series of kidnapping and murders being carried out by a cult whose torturing and killing people for their dark rites and I have to find this cult before someone blows the whistle that the cops and the town council are covering up the existence of said cult so not to panic the whole bloody town even more since they all think that it is just either one or more insane serial killers on the loose for the moment."

The witch explained as she walked back and sat on her chair. "Now as for your city blue I never heard of Mitakihara City until now and chances are you never heard of Branhwrn before. Don't worry about that too much because that rift you went through displaced you from your reality into mines. That happens a lot in here." She explained to them with a casual tone that makes it sound that what she just said was normal, well normal too her. "Most likely you come from a different world as well Garret, assuming that is your real name. So how about you two start telling me more about yourselves since I told you who I am."

"Wait, you're just going to leave me here?" What an asshole! Sayaka looked at Reed, her shock at the sudden betrayal clear as day in both her voice and expression. "No fair!" She reached out to grab hold of him but was once again repulsed by the invisible wall of jello, and once again, Sayaka found herself on the floor. Seeing as her efforts bore no fruit, she glared at the man instead with an intensity that promised a beat down. I am so going to kick your ass if you leave me alone with the weird detective lady!

"Stop with the bullshit!" The girl gritted her teeth at Elizabeth's answers, her thoughts slipping into words as her frustration at the situation grew. She stood up, eyes hardening as they fixed themselves at the self-proclaimed occultist. "I was hunting a familiar and made its barrier go away! I don't know how it sent me to the other side of the world, but I'm sure whatever cult you're hunting had something to do with it!" The girl stomped her foot on the rug to complete her point, "There! No alternate reality portals needed!"

"I'm afraid not sir." Violet did as she was told, letting go of her salute, but she kept a stance that was as tense and ready as ever. She threw the words Fuhrer and Amestris around her head for a while but try as she might, she came up with nothing.

Violet was never in the business of planning military ops, but the Major had done a good job of educating her in the basics of geography. As far as she knew, there was no country named Amestris. A mercenary then? No, they were never near professional enough to have their own uniform, especially one that she couldn't recognize. Fuhrer meanwhile, now that she could recognize. She was aware that it held the same status as King, or President, so this man was presumably a foreign head of state, but one without the security that usually accompanied such peoples of import. Kidnapped then? But what about the lightni-

An alien sound broke Violet's train of thought before she could fully make sense of the mystery presented to her.

The veteran squinted ever so slightly at the strange craft that had somehow snuck up on them. She hadn't seen anything of its make before, but she could still recognize possible hardpoints and the weapons attached to them. Whatever it was, she knew better than to make any sudden moves.

She attached her parasol to her luggage, and watched with a wildly beating heart as strange masked men with even stranger outfits exited the craft, weapons held at the ready as even stranger men of metal did the same. Finally, what seemed to be the commanding officers of this excursion revealed themselves, and the normally stoic Violet allowed herself to show the smallest sign of distress.

Faced with such overwhelming firepower without cover or weapons, her grip on her luggage grew the slightest bit tighter.

A War of Flesh and Metal

Yi Sun-shin and Aurelia Icebreath

At ease, lady.", Yi said as they approached. "I can guess that you have been for some reason thrown to this place by forces beyond reckoning, have you? If yes, then you are not alone. I am Grand Admiral Chungmugong Yi Sun-shin, commander of the United Nations Cosmo Navy, but you probably have no idea what that is. My ship, the Andromeda, and hers, crash landed on the moon of Titan and it will take 9 months for us to get those big battleships off the ground. But at least there are people down here on Earth.

With a voice as cold as ice, Aurelia spoke as well. "I am in turn High Starseer Aurelia Icebreath, commander of the space battleship Lunaven. I am a wielder of what you might call magic., she said as she summoned a few ice cubes before Yi grabbed them and placed them inside a cup with what looked like to be orange juice. Please do not be in fear. This world is a home for me just as it is for him,, she said referring to the Admiral. It may not be the same Earth he hails from, but it is still Earth. And... who is that behind you?, she went on referring to Fuhrur Bradley. "Is that your boyfriend?"

Yi would facepalm visibly as Aurelia said that. In the four thousand years you have lived, you are still bad at social interaction. You would be embarassing her right now! That isn't a question you ask to someone we just met!"

"Oh fine, you are the better diplomat.", Aurelia roll eyed. "You are the Grand Admiral, after all."

"Well, well, what is your name, then, girl?", Yi asked as he lifted his visors to reveal his face. "I know, you are actually a grown woman, but I am four millenia old, so yes, tell me."

"Now that is just offensive.", Aurelia said to one of their escorts. Still full of himself...

Secrets of the Raven
Elizabeth Ashwood

When Sayaka yelled at her for alleging lying to her about what happened the witch only moved close tonth e rug and took out the papers that Jones made on Sayaka, placing them on the floor for Sayaka to read. "Once I know I can let you out safely you can check my laptop to know that your home city doesn't exist in here. Also kid don't act like your the occult expert here because while Familiars can create barriers to protect their makers they can't send a person half way across the world. Maybe in your reality they can but not this one."

She told the girl as she crutch down the fridge and open it, taking out a can of beer and a glass. Placing the glass on the top of the drawer she open the can and began to pour the alcohol on the glass, watching it as it fill. "If those two aren't enough than I'm more than happy to conjure into existence a window to another reality. Though you may not want me to do that, the realities next door go mines aren't pleasant places to see let alone visit." Elizabeth place the empty can on the drawer as she grabbed the glass and return back to the chair, spinning the glass slowly.

A War of Flesh and Metal
Violet Evergarden

Grand Admiral? A strange title for someone who was presumably part of the Air Force, but Violet knew better than to question the titles of people who held rank above her. As such, she kept quiet for the entirety of the foreigners' exchange with each other. Her time in the army taught her that a carefully maintained mask of calm went a long way in keeping the higher-ups happy, especially when it came to first impressions.

However, when the High Starseer displayed what was blatantly and undeniably magic, Violet's masked started to show its cracks. The strange mannerisms and voice, she could take in stride, but actual magic?

Her eyes visibly widened at the display, and her mouth opened by the smallest of margins to let out a gasp that was, thankfully, crushed before it could be uttered. Compared to that, the question of whether Violet was the Fuhrer's fiance was but a gentle breeze, hardly even felt amidst a whirlwind of questions.

The shock was short-lived however, as old habits kicked in the moment she was asked her name. "Private First Class Violet Evergarden of the Leidenschaftlich Army, sir." Her salute was as perfect as ever, but it was obvious that she was off balance as her next words could attest to. "Former, Private First Class. I'm retired, sir." Something about her stance wavered as those words left her mouth, but it quickly returned when she shifted her attention to the Fuhrer. "As for the gentleman behind me, we are not affiliated with one another, and I currently lack the necessary information to properly introduce someone of his stature." The brass did love their titles, and Violet would rather not insult the head of state of another country by mishandling his introduction.

Secrets of the Raven
Sayaka Miki

Sayaka knelt to get the notepad from the floor, brows furrowed as she flipped through its pages. Everything was accurate to what she told the police, but why in the world was Mitakihara listed as 'non-existent'? The girl was still fuming, but as the seconds ticked by, Sayaka was starting to have doubts on how right she was. She looked at Elizabeth, then to the notepad, and then to Elizabeth again before she took one, deep breath. The woman's callous attitude was annoying, it absolutely infuriated her, but she wouldn't get anything done stuck here in a rug. "Fine!" There was more fire to that statement than Sayaka intended, but she didn't mind. "What do you want to know so I can get out of this spot?" The girl turned her back on Elizabeth, arms crossed across her chest as her cape fluttered heroically from the action.
