I had an idea for another character. A ghost teenager that had been haunting the school for a while or something.

But I should probably stick with one character for now, especially since she's already a ghost/half ghost/something like that.

BAD: Saint Augustine was right; a comprehended god is no god. The finite nature of humans is as difficult to understand as his own infinite nature is to humans. Gear: A bow crafted from the tusks of elephants that was given to her by her father. It contains a magical property in it created by her father to increase her marksmanship and speed significantly, making her hit her target on point most of the time with elegance and grace, without weighing her down.

• Animal Manipulation: Given her birthplace and nature, Aaliyah has the ability to meld minds with animals and control them. Whether its for combat, amusement, or any other reason, she turns towards animals to enhance her abilities. Yet she only does this when she absolutely needs to, primarily during defense and combat as she knows that controlling and manipulating them for too long can create an unhealthy relationship between both human and creature both mentally, emotionally, and physically.
  
• Animal Empathy: Along with controlling comes her ability to feel and emphasize with animals. She can feel their emotions and can act on them just as though they were her own. She uses this as a form of middle-ground between humans and animals so that there is a compromise between them when in conflict.
  
• Ecological Empathy: Similar to the one above, Aaliyah can become physically, emotionally, and or mentally in sync with environment, which allows her to perceive and understand not only what happens in nature but if it is in harmony with natural order. This is more noticeable during seasonal changes, and can determine how she feels during the months.
  
• Curing: Also being a woman of healing properties, Aaliyah can cure herself as well as other people and restore them to their normal condition by removing any most of illness, diseases, mutation, obtained powers or skills or behavioral shifts which are caused by spells, hypnosis and mind control. Although she uses this as a last minute resort as it takes up most of her energy and requires numerous and uncommon resources that she might be able to receive quickly.

Mythical Origin: Born from the waters of the Niger River, Aaliyah is the definition of what a woman should be in the eyes of the Yoruba and people of West Africa and what a real Goddess was suppose to be. The descent of Aja and Oshosi, she has been revered by the other deities along with the people that worship her as "The Rose Among Thorns" given the fact that she was born around the time of constant turmoil and wars between the deities of the Kingdom over a power depute as the mortals of the land go through their own turmoil and unrest over the limited amount of resources and land available due a severe drought brought on by the lack of guidance by the Orishas.

As the leaders above the Earth continue to fight, Aaliyah brings herself down to Earth along the banks of the Niger river where she began where she called upon her mother to provide rain and storms for thirty days and nights, causing the plants and animals to come back yet not flood the lands. With her wisdom and guidance, she taught the people how to cultivate and fertilize the lands; her healing properties helped bring the sickly back to their full and healthy selves. And with her father's skills, taught the mortals how to hunt better, yet still tend for the land and creatures, careful not to over-hunt them. And soon, warring tribes became neighbors and began to come together and form peace and prosperity over the next few hundred years.

But as things began growing better for the morals on Earth, the Orishas in the Kingdom quickly began to grow more hostile over who controls the power between leaders. Until their constant fighting quickly came to an end as the arrival of Europeans and Christianity began to sweep over the continent. The idea of many gods working for them soon became God himself. And soon, Aaliyah herself began to grow more and more ostracized from the very people that she raised as the wave of a new religion grew among them.

Fearing that there would be a crisis among them if this continues, the older Orishas all agreed to take Aaliyah to Holy High where she would prove themselves to the world, especially those of Christianity, that their works for thousands of years will not be overshadowed by one person that claims to be the creator of the universe himself and destroying their civilization. And while that happens, discuss what to do about a vacuum of power.
But can Aaliyah prove herself worthy in such a place as this? Will she be able to keep her dominating and competitive nature and fight her way to the top like her father? Or will she just learn to accept things for the way they are and resort to such submissiveness like her mother?

Personality: Like her mother she can be quiet, soft-spoken and nurturing. A caring and motherly individual, she would make anyone that wanted to feel as though they were her own family. Either by listening to other peoples' problems or feelings, or trying her best to provide as much comfort and love as possible. But also like her father, bold and cunning at times, not taking no for an answer and full of positive energy that can put a smile on most faces, or make others become flustered with tears in their eyes from such bluntness and near sneaky tactics.
And then, she's just herself. A young woman that just wants to make friends and understand the meaning of the world and of humans.
An avid lover of nature and animals, she would rather put her time and trust into creatures with two legs or with a tree rather than with other people. The feeling of nature and its constant changes makes her feel lively and like nothing else. And also, she absolutely despises the idea of fighting and creating conflict unless someone intentionally provokes her or is backed into a corner.
