My God... where'd you got these? Are they even legal?

*puts on glasses and browses through collection*

Amazing, some of these dials even work under the moonlight. And these hourglasses, they are quite exquisite.

*ponders about something for a couple minutes, then takes out wallet*

All right, I made up my mind. How much for that little pentagram shaped sundial with the ominous ancient symbols engraved on the sides?

Oh, that one?

*pulls out a small packet of paper stapled together and flips through it*

That one is . . . in your currency . . . 7,000 Cradits. If you want it delivered, that'll be an extra 500. Because touching it has been known to cause death and/or chronic rhyming, I'm going to need you to sign a liability waiver.

*hands you a sheet of paper filled with complicated legalese*

And an NDA, because absolutely none of this is legal.

*hands you another sheet of paper*

Do you need a pen?

Seven thousa... I don't have that kind of money...

*Looks around to check if anyone's watching, then looks at the ancient sundial, it speaks to his soul*

"Take me with you, mortal!"

*Looks at shady time dealer, then at the dial, then at the dealer again.*

I... uhhh... will... maybe... pay you later!

*Tries to run away with the goods*

Cya!

*pulls out a taser and tasers you, causing you to fall twitching to the ground*

It's called bartering! It's like you've never made any back alley deals before!

*grabs your wallet and rifles through it as you writhe on the ground*

Let's see . . . 100 . . . 250 . . . 800 . . . 1,200 . . . . 3,000? That's it? Eh, deal.

*takes the cash out of your wallet*

*looks again*

*takes your coupon for a free ice cream*

*throws your empty wallet on your body*

Pleasure doing business with you.

Wait, n...No! Not the ice cream coupon! I need that, please, I have a family to feed!

*Tries to get up, but falls back into the mud...*

*The dial hits the concrete and breaks in half, releasing the demons trapped inside*

"Freedom at last!" - the demons howl in unison - "We shall devour this world like the last one! Cover before our power, feeble humans!"

"Ehh... do we really want to do this again? I'm getting tired of this. Lets just go watch a movie or something..." - Suggests one of the demons.

"Oh, yeah, we could do that too. All right then... cya later, mortals, and thanks for freeing us, much appreciated!" - The demons say.

*Gathers shattered pieces of the antique sundial... its remains slowly turn to dust in his hands.*

Hopefully a certain fox can make it there. Help the village and start doing some Dr.Moreu experiments on the dead animals.

Nah. I’m not going to give you a situational bonus twice for a minor note that you didn’t even spend an action on.
