Let her die. Make her suffer. There can be no mercy for traitors. Stormbringer must be the rising star on this team. Sari must die!

Can’t be a traitor if she wasn’t really part of the Guardians.

And doesn’t Sari have a more balanced and greater potential than Not!Storm?

As it stands, Sari has more "power", but storm would be a far more powerful villain, in my opinion. As a hero she has to keep herself limited so she doesn't hurt her team or civilians, but as a villain she could go all out. Imagine a constant barrage of thunderstorms, typhoons, tornadoes, and blizzards. She could devastate a country the size of Switzerland in days.

But she is a hero, so she has to weaken herself. Which is nice, I guess.

You know that a country the size of Switzerland would probably not only have metas who'd be pissed about someone ripping their homes apart, but also a sizeable military force probably also equipped with special anti-meta equipment to shoot Heather down permanently.

This is Switzerland. There's guns everywhere. The sky would be filled with enough lead that some of it's bound to strike home.

To quote a wise fish I know: "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming swimming swimming."

I think you will find that her wisdom applies here as well.

So umm, I am in the middle of moving houses with my family and the whole process will take about a week to be done. I'm not really great juggling different tasks and when it comes to posting, I've been having a really bad block. I don't really know what to say but I think it would be best for me to drop the RP, not to mention I haven't really been contributing to the RP so there's that. In regards to my characters, they can be retconned or be killed off or whatever. They didn't have much of a presence anyways.

That's it. See ya around NS.

There will be repercussions for her death. And I just liked her concept, she never really had much a chance to develop for me to like much more than that though.

True.

And her whole saviour thing was interesting. Now that she is dead, what was she saving us from and can it be stopped now?

Stormbringer could probably do it, if you don't mind a few million civilian casualties!

An update for those of you not in Discord. Forest is currently taking suggestions for what way you want the plot to go after arc 3. These last two arcs have followed Sari, and with her story coming to a close, now is a good time to possibly pursue any new ideas you all had. Personally, I've got a Guardian reform plot in my head, where we try to change the Guardian's to a less heavy-handed organization, which could very well lead to a Civil War. Could be fun if I can make it interesting enough.

Anyway, assuming I even get permission to do a civil war storyline, I'd love to know what you guys are interested in. With the end of this mission, we'll have finished two arcs. So, what kind of things have you liked in this RP, and what kind of things would you like to change in the future? I can't guarantee all feedback will result in changes, but if enough people request things it'll certainly influence how the story is made.

I love the way that we are all able to work together! I know that I personally have spatial reasoning issues and get confused about positions, and there were maps provided which was lovely and helpful!

I hope that if we do a civil war scenario Captain Canada will lead the rebels.

Actually, can someone help me with Fyodor's bio? I'm stuck on how much of a Gary Stew he's becoming and I don't like it.

ANNOUNCEMENT

So, if you aren't on the Discord, or you were away when this went down, I'll fill you in on it. Long story short, the future of the plot is muddy and there's been heavy problems with figuring out where we're going to go from here, especially because unlikely outcomes in both arcs so far have thrown a wrench into plans that I had. I'm not complaining, because I did leave the outcomes up to the players instead of running the storyline on rails. But I have one direction I want to take this, and other people have other directions, and it's just all become a mess because of poor planning overall. We talked about ways to fix it and came to the conclusion that it's hard to make a change without abandoning the direction and feel of the RP right now, essentially making another thread.

So I decided to actually make another thread, and we already have some people aboard. You should be able to transfer your characters over for the most part, at least ones that aren't supernatural in origin. Some of you will have to nerf your abilities to the lower power levels of the new thread but I'll try to not reject abilities outright unless they're on the banned list. The RP is in the same vein as Academy of Villains, but is more of a new thing based on it than a direct reboot. In fact, it's the mechanics from this RP that are crossing over.

If you're interested in joining, the new OOC should be up somewhat soon.
