I just downloaded a map from Deviant Art, then I colored it with MS Paint

Can i just write a brief history of RP nation on IC

I'm thinking of a hyper powered Madagascar that unified early and became a thalassocracy that dominated the Indian ocean, kicked ass and took names. As of now it's sorta kinda like the ottoman empire and is in a state of decline more or less albeit it's still pretty threatening. The POD for this would be migration by a small population of coastal dwellers 6000 years ago by other cattle rearing pastrorialist groups who migrated into their homeland around 7000 years ago. They ended up landing on Madagascar and the rest is history.

Find the statistics for 1900, then subtract about 250,000 for small nations and 1,000,000 for large ones. That's the principle I use, anyway.

Your ship(s) would have to arrive at Cartagena, because Granada doesn't have a port. Once you've landed, the Crown could probably spare some transportation to get to Granada. However, if you want an inland meeting, why not Madrid?
