RP INTEREST AND FEEDBACK REQUEST

Please provide as much detail as possible.
RP's Overarching Concept: A space warfare RP based off the R-Type franchise (yes, that R-Type), mainly taking inspiration from the R-Type tactics spinoff series.
Genre/s: Sci-Fi, war, strategy (sort of), horror (the Bydo are an assimilating race of aliens after all), starfighter.
Character or Faction Based: Faction based, but everyone will be on the same side as each player controls a fleet of ships.
Detailed Description: "Humanity is at war with the most dangerous adversary it has ever faced. An enemy force of unknown origins which is completely alien to the people of the 22nd century...
The Bydo Empire.
A foe which not only holds immense power in terms of territory and offensive capabilities, but can also corrupt and mutate man and machine alike. This has made the task of preventing their spread across the Milky Way arduous at best and downright impossible at worst. If they gain too much of a foothold, then Earth, its colonies and its allies will not have the capabilities needed to prevent further expansion of the Bydo, thus leading to the "destruction" of all life as we know it.
However, in these trying times there is still a small spark of hope, albeit a dim one.
The Earth Allied Armed Forces (EAAF), also known as the Space Corps, is the main force that stands between The Bydo Empire and total Galactic domination. Making up a majority of their arsenal are the R-series of starfighters. Proven in past operations to be both versatile and deadly, they are one of the best weapons at the Space Corps disposal when coupled with the near-invulnerable force units.
And in the right squadron, under the right command...they might help finally win this war."

The general idea for gameplay is that each player would be given a number of points and then they would use said points to choose from a roster of units, be those fighters or larger craft. Players would be working under the command of the Space Corps or their allies. However, I could allow people to work for the Bydo instead if that sounds interesting.
By the way, most ships (including the fighters) have really powerful guns called wave cannons.

Need Help With: Interest. Fleshing out mechanics (might add resupply mechanics, might not as that could get a bit tedious), gathering interest.

RP's Overarching Concept: Humans have to work together to survive the pre-apocalypse and battle demons, angels and the forces of heaven and hell as Armageddon draws nearer.
Genre/s: Post-apocalyptic, dystopian
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description: So my idea is something more modern, I’m so used to doing medieval fantasy type RPs that I wanted to do something different for a change. The concept is post apocalyptic that takes place in the modern day. Basically you know how the Mayan calendar said the world was gonna end in 2012? Well it turns out they got two numbers wrong and the end of the world is actually happening in 2021. That’s the year when Armageddon happens. So basically everything is peaceful but then all these weird natural disasters start happening (2020 has been a shit year, so we’ll just say that was pre-apocalypse in order to deplete the world’s population for Armageddon). So the forces of heaven and hell are now preparing to do battle in order to decide the fate of the world, humanity is caught in the middle. Demons are now walking the earth, and it’s up to what’s left of humanity to figure out a way to survive.


(I also have an idea involving a setting in Black Death era Italy, if anyone is interested I’ll provide details on that one as well).

A nerdy individual shuffles up to you, notepad in hand, with an evidently prepared presentation for the Traveller's Cafe. Awkwardly, he begins his spiel.

"Community: that show that was great for a time, had a gas leak year, got better again, but still does not have the #AndAMovie that we've been promised. Within community, one loosely connected series of episodes have consistently been rated highly, and never fail to capture the imagination - the episodes where Greendale campus erupts into some kind of war. Whether it be the numerous paintball skirmishes that wreak havoc on the campus, the blanket and pillow fort war that wreaked havoc on the campus, or even the great game of "the Floor is Lava" that, you guessed it, wreaked havoc on the campus, they were always worth a laugh, and sometimes involved some interesting interpersonal politicking as society descended into madness.

"I would like to create a new college (and its campus) for NationStates P2TM. Home to raucous parties, doomed romances, many misadventures and, occasionally, study, this campus will be a tinderbox, teetering on the edge of madness and a civil war the likes of which no college campus on NationStates has ever seen. With heroism, cowardice, betrayal, and a lot of people taking college spats way too seriously, I think this has the potential to be an interesting yet also simultaneously fun (and hopefully funny) NationStates experience."

As your reality descends into meta-references and poorly-written prose, you awaken at your computer/phone/device/thing, and realise that you've been in the Traveller's Cafe topic on NationStates the entire time. You decide that, whatever it was that you just read, it was a good idea, and to write a post below this one saying as much.

What do you mean by “like TNO?” A bit more loose and ‘wacky’ with its lore? Or a German American Cold War? It could be fun to do a Scenario with a 21st century USSR to lean in on the modern Cold War aspect, or a US v USSR Cold War but less realistic, ‘wacky’ so to say, to lean into the other part

Well, considering what the levels in the actual R-Type games are like and also that the main antagonists are a "species" of all-assimilating inhuman space quasi-cyborgs...that shall be the case.
