Breaking News! Chancellor Kasel has announced another foreign intervention in the country of Laraosi. This move has been echoed with some praise, but many are decrying the move as another "Capilean Folly." The Chancellor is scheduled to give a speech on the matter in the next few days.

Now, since in this case I would be OP, I would be the one most likely to play the mastermind, right? So wouldn't it be painfully obvious who it would be if I participated in the killing game myself.
Another issue is with the killings: not only do people tend not liking having their character killed, especially early on since they'll basically be locked effectively out of the RP. There's also the issue of making murder cases not too obvious and having all different kinds of diverse truth bullets. And on top of that, there's also the fact that there won't really be a main protagonist, so I also wonder how non-stop debates would really work.

RP's Overarching Concept: Humans discovered that reincarnation is real, and that there are ways to artificially select for it and to bring persons back by using the vast stores of collected, aggregated information from the internet. The project lead who developed this program became an incredibly popular figure, deemed to be a modern messiah, he quickly grew in influence and at the height of his power, began shepherding Humanity to a bright new future. Global catastrophes seemed to abate for a time, but it all ended when he was publicly attacked and assassinated by religious extremists. As a result, the world quickly regressed, the code of the extremists released and shown to be 'different' by use of various genetic and memetic markers throughout their aggregate data. They were given the punishment to be forever imprisoned, across infinite lifespans or until the messiah returned and forgave them. So began the dystopia Humanity now lives in. The players are to survive in this world, having become members of an underground group which believes they've discovered a secret buried by the government when the assassination first took place centuries prior.
Genre/s: Cyberpunk, Dystopia
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description:
There are three classes of citizens, Echoes, Frames, and Shades. The Echoes are those individuals who hold a high probability of being the messiah reborn, though it has been hundreds of years since a near-perfect match was found, it is believed that the messiah is still being partially reincarnated throughout the presence of the Echoes, whom are generally given preferential treatment. Frames are only partial matches and as such, unless they receive higher synchronization, are only treated as lower class citizens, being afforded basic rights like a UBI and Medical Aid, but do not receive preferential treatment for services or commodities beyond that. Shades are those whom share high levels of synchronization with the original group that assassinated the Messiah. Many believe that they are descendants or relatives and thus sub-human. Many are often placed into wage slavery, unfairly judged in kangaroo courts, or placed into compulsory military service to lower their synchronization rate and become Frames. Many members of the resistance groups across the world are those whom were born as Shades or designated Shades young in life, as they were often discarded from their family homes and left to live among the rest of the Shades. They are a typical impoverished groupand see constant raids from the highly militarized police forces, among other organized criminal groups intending to make slaves of those they can steal from their homes in the Rancor.
Humanity lives in subterranean cities, many are massive and consist of millions of miles of tunnels, many of which go unused by all but unmanned, autonomous service drones. As such, they are commonly utilized as hideouts and safe havens for Shades and Criminal elements. This also means that they are relatively unmaintained and an estimated hundred thousand or so die each years from tunnel collapses. The surface is completely restored to a pre-Human Industrial Era standard, most heat is expelled through massive radiators built along the sea floor and any large bodies of water. The resulting rise in global humidity and water temperature having killed off many non-tropical species while fog, mist, and rain proliferate.
The mega cities tend to be broken up into three major levels, the Olympics which sit above the surface of the earth and represent the upper echelons of society. Many Echoes live in this area and most Frames will receive the chance to visit it once or twice a year on holiday. Shades are not authorized into this area unless escorted by Military, Police, or a High Level Echo. The Canopy is where the entirety of Frame society lives, and is generally located within the first few hundred meters below ground. It is a massive area and is heavily inhabited, but those places that fall into disrepair or that become unmanaged fall into the next category, the Rancor. The Rancor, the word not being in relation to the mythical monster of Star Wars, but rather the word meaning bitterness or resentfulness, is named so for its high level of Shades that live within it. Most of the Rancor has fallen into disrepair and represents the vestiges of a society slowly shrinking in footprint as more and more surface and orbital dwellings are built. They are hot, humid, and extremely dangerous with carnivorous flora and fauna, rampant computer viruses, murderous kill drones, and armies of organized crime elements and slavers which take from the largely undocumented population for both human experimentation, organ harvesting, and slavery.

RP's Overarching Concept: Where the Stars Fell
Genre/s: Post Apocalypse, Horror
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description: Earth has been ravaged by an unknown cataclysm, but what or when, no one can remember. It's the nature of the virus, for those that suffered the most at its hands, they forgot all of themselves and became something else. Others, simply can't remember when they began to forget. There are some who think they've somehow recovered, but the doctors all say Humanity seems to have collectively blinked... and now we're stuck with the aftermath. Time passes strangely, almost incongruently across the world and now the survivors are left trying to pick up the pieces and complete a puzzle they don't remember starting. Perhaps, if anything, there's only those clues left by the few who remembered how to read and write, before even that too slipped away from them.
Players in Where the Stars Fell are combatting a world where Humanity has forgotten itself. Many lost their sense of self, or purpose, and the results were not pretty. Perhaps they grew feral and savage, hunting in brutish packs that picked off lone survivors or foreigners, or maybe they lost their will to live completely and died where they stood, waiting to remember what it was they were trying to do. No one knows the origin of the virus, it's anti-memetic in that way, long-term memories seemed to have failed first, but from what most can remember, the incident that started it all happened at least a month ago. For some, glimpses of a life they once had may reveal itself in dreams, while others only receive the sense of Deja Vu and the sand of a dream slipping through the fingers of a conscious mind.
Each week IRL would be a day. Players going inactive for more than three weeks IRL without reason would be considered dead. For those weird jumps in IRL time between dialogues happening, this is explained IC by rifts, which are a sort of visual-mental hallucination. A character walks up to another and begins an interaction, but suddenly it's night-time... or maybe they've moved down the street suddenly. No, there's no teleportation, but rather they've recovered from having just fallen into a rift. To others, it simply appears as though they've suddenly gone silent and turned around, walking away- or more eerily, gone silent and have resorted to only staring blankly into the horizon.
Also was thinking about how a xenovirus that attacks the brain and it's ability to see and perceive things temporally, to create long and short-term memories, and ultimately degrades those centers, would affect persons by making them see something called 'Shades'. A Shade is a fragment of a memory, but the brain registers it as a real phenomena. Interacting with a shade will generally kill someone as they bring on a sudden heightened sense of paranoia, fear, ands inconsolable hysteria which can result in sudden cardiac arrest. I'll need help working out the actual medical particulars and details of it all, but it seems relatively simple- as brains are ya know. I mean, I have one, how hard could it be to make a complex space virus that affects one of nature's most complex and least understood organs in our body?
I will be providing each player with a small individual chunk of a map where they can encounter the others. The map has been pre-generated and players will all have a limited inventory, but when a rift occurs, there's a strong chance they made suddenly come to their senses several hundred meters from their starting location, and missing anything that they didn't have fastened to themselves. Sometimes a rift can result in only seconds of lost time, and for others it can be several hours. All that matters is that players keep moving, keep interacting, and keep working to uncover the origin behind Where the Stars Fell.
Need Help With: Gauging interest, I've been working on trying to figure out what I've been wanting from an RP and I actually like the idea behind this and will most likely be writing it up as an individual side project when I get the time. It's just one of those late-night shower thoughts that came to me and I wanted to get written down.

RP's Overarching Concept: A peace treaty has made Japan to be split into separate countries and they struggle with unifying the nation. This is basically the modern version of Sengoku.
Genre/s: Alternate History
Character or Faction Based: Faction
Detailed Description: The year is 2000. In 1952 (when the Allies had regained Japan's sovereignty), Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida was assassinated (as he was in the middle of public speaking) by a Korean nationalist and Japan suddenly went into chaos. Then, Takushiro Hattori (who served as an Imperial Japanese Army officer and who schemed for assassination against Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida) had successfully taken over the nation in a coup and he forced the Imperial House of Japan to step down from having nominal political power only for them to flee to the United States upon being exiled by him.
Takushiro then declared himself as a dictator (in which he abolish elections) and he went on to rule Japan for life until his eventual death in 1990 in which the nation went into chaos again after his long reign. Fighting had occurred amongst the people with differing political ideologies and it continues well until 1999 when a peace treaty was signed. Japan was split into separate countries and it is no longer a unified nation. But the question remains the same ever since. Who will unify Japan and would they prevail? The 2nd Sengoku period has begun.

And on top of that, there's also the fact that there won't really be a main protagonist, so I also wonder how non-stop debates would really work.
Here's my advice.
Since I done this 3 times for Danganronpa RPs.
Usually, it's predictable if one plays the game about a mastermind being among 16 students, however since the game series uses plot twists for its structure, there are ways to really curb around this. Perhaps suspicion is placed on all the students, however the actual mastermind is really behind the scenes this whole time, trying to make the students paranoid of each other. Or maybe the character that the OP would be playing as would be revealed to be the mastermind near the end of the game, however there are circumstances and conditions that makes sure that their role isn't revealed. Perhaps the character has their memories wiped or altered. Perhaps they are deemed the mastermind, despite their quest for good, but their actions in the past has led to the real villains dubbing them the true mastermind. Or you can experiment by having another player be given the role of the mastermind in secret.
As the OP, you would still need a character to really have the plot be driven. Typically, the OP character is usually someone who acts like the detective of the students. The OP's role in the trials is to present a topic to the students, while not spoiling the identify of the killer. For one Danganronpa RP, I had the OP character deliver a bit of a Closing Argument, which has a different purpose than that of the games. The purpose in the RP is to explain how the murder for each trial was committed without explaining who the killer was, but providing hints and theories, while revealing the killer's motive for doing so.
For killings, I tend to allow people have more than one character for a bit of a reason. It can be used as an opportunity to kill your other character, if you have two. Or someone can kill one of your characters, but another would survive. I usually ask for permission if someone would like to have their character, if their character has been selected to be killed by the killer, without spoilering who the killer is. But it's still important to know that permadeath is something that will be in the RP. I even lampshaded this rule in a later RP, so people don't get too attached to their RP who are at risk of being killed.
Don't worry about the murder cases, though. I made a "kill app" that a killer would send to the OP, which they would detail their plan and how it relates to their talent. It worked good for a talent of Intellectual, where it can work with any other talent. Just make sure to have the would-be victim TG the actions of the killer, so the victim will have to react and the killer would also have to improvise a little in their plan.
And the nonstop debates are much simplier than you think. It's functions as a group conversation (like how it would work in Among Us). There will be truth bullets to write down as the OP, but you don't need to shoot them at any yellow or bold words. It's focusing on how the evidence connects to each murder and how it could also connect to the killer, as well.

Oh and speaking of which, if I were to make a second character, would they be the antagonist like Nagito of the group who actually wants killings to happen and encourages his/her classmates to do it?
Oh and lastly, this is pretty much in general, I have never actually OP'd a RP before. Are there any guides to get me started?

RP's Overarching Concept: A 1960s alternate history where set 20 years after a strange disease ravaged the world, with a good chunk of inspiration from The New Order: Last Days of Europe.
Genre/s: Post-apocalypse, Alt-History, horror
Character or Faction Based: Nation and Faction
Detailed Description:
It's the year 1962. It's been 20 years since the so-called "Mutation Plague" appeared after a meteorite landed in a rural town in Spain. Within 10 years, 40% of the world population had died. The strange, infectious microbe does its damage by altering the DNA of its host. Although its Fatality and Mutation rates vary depending on what species of plant or animal it infects, for humans, it's close to this: 75% of infected die from significantly increased cancer risk, around 23-24% survive mostly unharmed, while around 1-2% of infected mutate into all sorts of strange things. Although not every mutant is the exact same, they are not all different, and there are over 300 known varieties of mutants from humans. Since this strange plague struck in the middle of the largest war the world has ever seen, it rapidly changed the state of the war. By 1944, the war had become an eternal stalemate. As nations in Europe started to collapse in 1946, the war unofficially ended. Armies were decimated, cities in chaos, and leadership became desperate.
The German Reich still exists, but in a horrifying way. After Hermann Goering mutated, there was a wave of suicides among high ranking NSDAP officials, leading to a full-scale coup by the SS in 1946. Ever since, Germany has been under the Aryan Spartanist insanity of Heinrich Himmler. Himmler's regime desperately clings on to Germany's 1940 borders. There are now attempts by the Reich to weaponize the mutation plague in an attempt to create super soldiers that can withstand whatever an enemy throws at them.
The United States still exists, but is facing severe problems. After Truman ordered the dropping of an Atomic bomb over New York City in an attempt to slow down the mutation plague, a clique of Generals led by Douglas MacArthur overthrew Truman, executing him for "an unforgivable war crime". As MacArthur's life continues to wane, multiple Generals and Admirals are vying to be his successor. On top of that, multiple underground Communist, Fascist, and Democratic militias are gaining more support by the day. A chaotic Second American Civil War is seemingly on the horizon, as MacArthur's deathbed awaits him.
France, Britain, Italy, Japan, and the Soviet Union have collapsed into chaos, anarchy, and warlords. Metropolitan France is in Anarchy, with its remaining leadership fleeing to Africa and South America. Southern England has collapsed into anarchy, Northern England has collapsed into warlords, Wales and Scotland are independent, and Northern Ireland has rejoined Ireland. Italy has collapsed into warlords. The Japanese Empire has dissolved, giving independence to its occupied territories, while the home islands have fallen into warlords. Finally, the Soviet Union has also collapsed into a series of warlord states. Iberia is nearly depopulated, the Balkans are near collapse, Mao Zedong has unified most of China, former British Raj is in an endless civil war, the Amazon rainforest is overrun with mutated plant life, Africa is mostly in Anarchy, and Australia has isolated itself from the outside world. The world is in ruins. can hope survive in such a harsh world? Or will the world descend further into darkness?

1 January 1991 as the POD (point of divergence); however, the focus being on ordinary people rather than politics etc. - smaller scale, lower stakes, more character-driven is the idea.
