After some stiff negotiating in private with the King and Germans several politicians finally gave in and switched to the Interventionist faction, on December 19, the Tribunal officially voted to join the Axis Alliance. The King sent proposals home with the German delegation for ships (mainly destroyers and patrol boats) to help take control of islands in the Indian ocean and choke out the enemy in the region by freezing the trade routes. They also sent proposals for several hundred thousand Mauser Gewehr 98 rifles and Reichsrevolver Modell M76 pistols. In addition they sent proposals for Madsen Machine Guns and ordinance designs that they could build themselves. The government increased orders for the Afrikanner 33 Model Artillery Gun and Horses which were still the main cavalry tool.

Meanwhile the Tanzanyan generals created plans for invasions and prepared to receive orders from the axis commanders. They also increased size of delegations to axis countries. The King created a war planning committee of politicians to manage logistics and supply needs for the military. At 7 PM the public was notified of the decision.

I will be having a meeting with their ambassador to discuss this matter further.

Furthermore, the Finnish-Swedish Empire has chosen to invade Norway, an action that we completely condemn. With that in mind, I, and the War Cabinet have authorized a force to be sent to Greenland to ensure the sovereignty of the Danes living there. With this, Canada must applaud the courage of the Americans for being the defenders of the Atlantic, every Canadian must hope for their success in defending our continent, our freedoms, and we must aide and assist them in every way possible. We can only hope that this will move towards a stronger tie in North America, towards the defense of Liberty.

If this trade agreement was accepted, not only would German-Chinese relations be improved, but Hao Qing could possibly be promoted to the head of the Diplomatic Corps. Hao quickly handed the telegram to his fellow diplomats, the diplomats reading the telegram before writing down the terms and sending it to be turned into documents.

After the ultimatum was sent, the leadership was in uproar. Soldiers had died for Danish land, and they were attempting to create a new Scandinavia: Denmark rightfully belonged to them. However, both Engdahl and Lindholm were not idiots, they knew they could probably cause the Axis heavy amounts of casualties, but they knew that eventually, they would fall. Which is why they finally came to a decision.

Regarding the topic of Greenland, as you graced on it during your speech. We asure you that the annexation of Greenland was not the best outcome of the situation. However, while we debated setting up a client state in Greenland, we repealed it due to the low population of the area. We can see that the sudden annexation of a nearby territory can be seen as an aggressive move. As a compromise, we propose that Greenland becomes a Demilitarised Area so that the prospect of a nearby territory is less intrusive to your great nations space of influence.

I would also like to add that the citizens of Greenland are being treated well. Every citizen has been granted automatic citizen rights on par with an Ifalts rights. Additionally we are helping build more infrastructure in the territory. Encouraging the Americans to withdraw out of Greenland would be in your best interests as the citizens of Ifaltannia, Sweden-Finland and many others are seeing North Americans policies as aggressive.

It is with regret that I say we cannot release Greenland due to the reliance of the territory on the mainland, however we hope that the demilitarized compromise can bridge the gap of interests. While this much was true, the crowd was waiting anxiously on the news on Greenland and the Anglo-Sphere renewed grudge with Ifaltannia.

The speech continued for what felt like hours until the topic of Greenland finally re-emerged. "Now as you may of heard on the news, there is currently a situation on our hand revolving Greenland." The crowd fell eerily silent. "We are currently working with Canada and America to find a resolution to this issue. It is easy to see the Americans perspective on this event..." The crowd were confused to say the least. "A nearby territory being annexed certainly doesn't do much good for relations I hope you understand. As such we have offered to remain the controllers of Greenland provided we keep this area demilitarised so the North Americans do not feel threatened. I for one hope this goes a long way of easing tensions with the Anglo-Sphere. While it might be a good while until we restore friendly relations between our nations. Our first priority should be to atleast restore some relations."

The speech went on to detail upcoming local elections and governments reforms including an extended foreign relation budget bill. When all was said and done, it seemed some atleast, had less anger at the Americans for the occupation. Though many still saw it as an warmongering move...

Oredrus Alexander Guerra had grown angry. The world ignored them and they had done so much in the past decades. Yesterday, he prepared a speech to rouse the people and maybe propose a bit more.

Guerra fixes his tie while stepping behind the podium. "My people! My friends! The rest of the world has ignored us! They continue to squabble amongst themselves while we have made a great amount of progress! They don't wish too acknowledge us, because that would make themselves look weak!" The crowd cheers in approval as he continues, "So I will force them to acknowledge us! To any outsiders! Spread the word! If the Federation does not leave any areas within the Gulf of Mexico in 1 week, the Order will declare war for disrespect of our nation." The cheers are less notable now.

"To show I'm serious we will begin moving a few fleets into the Gulf. If they back down, they are weak. If they don't, they are foolish. We shall establish our world leadership whether the rest of the world likes it or not!" With that he steps of the podium, cheering still alive, but their was a notable decrease.

He speaks with the Chief of Secret Police a few minutes later. "Find out who wasn't cheering, and punish them."

Sure enough, a fleet of 5 cruisers is seen in the Mexican Gulf within several hours.

[The Imperial Warglorian Empire]

Norwegian Front, 2 Weeks after initial Invasion
The NVS continued to push forward with stiff yet minimal resistance. Already both Tromso and Hammerfest have surrendered after several days of continuous bombings, the same goes for the Norwegian Forces that had been surrounded during the initial invasion. The remainder of the Norwegian Army mounted a rushed and desperate defence against the incoming NVS Troops, but it was futile. They were simply brushed aside. The cities of Alesund and the vital port city of Bergen, Norway's second biggest city, have been secured, and the invasion continues, concentrating on taking the coasts before invading Oslo.

Delegate Yksi (they were codenamed): We’re here really just to ask one thing. Will Germany, even better, the Axis Powers support the Finno-Swedish Empire’s expansionist efforts?

Delegate Kaksi: We have envisioned a pan-Nordic empire of Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. We want to secure it and we might need the support of our Germanic brethren.

Von Brawn: Lets get this straight, if any nation, and I don’t care if you’re Germanic or Slavic or Latin or Celtic, so much as fires a bullet at the tire of a German I will send an entire legion of Prussian elites upon them backed with a fleet of battleships, a unit of Panzer, and a squadron of Messerschmitts. This damned Scandinavian theatre is your business, I have the Slavic theatre and that’s my only theatre. I have my expendable and you have your shaky-armed marksmen to ignite the fire.

With Russian officials seeing the Charles Line, the Russians decided to make their own, called the "Zhukov Line" named after Russia's greatest general, Georgy Zhukov. The Defence line would have old, broken down tanks and make them implanted Cannons, Miles of Trenches would be dug up, even creating tunnels for A: Popping up and Shooting at charging enemies. B: Underground machine gun bunkers. C: Pit Traps. Artillery would be implanted at the back of the defence line, and with Forts scattered around the Defence line. and at the very front of the line, a large minefield with over a million mines.

OOC: I just want to announce this for future notice. I’ve been making this a behavioral trend amongst Chancellor Von Brawn and his subordinates, but I just wanted to confirm it. Germany, while its only just started attacking, and against the EESSR (who’s leader, I believe, hasn’t posted in days), is mobilized and militarized and a hell of a lot angry. Well with the Scandinavian cluster****, the Poles participating in that without knowledge of the Germans, the war machine is already well awake! We’re a hornets nest at this moment, and the world can be seen as a dumb kid with a rock wanting to destroy it. Do so and a swarm of life-ending incisors will tear you to shreds.
